1261  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 08, 2023, 02:45:02 PM
It is not just them but also other nations and nationalities goes to another country and continent for medical tourism. Wherever is the need they need to have, they'll go there just like those tourists that are going for cheap gadgets and other stuff, this isn't really something new.

Like in South East Asian countries, there goes Thailand where those tourists that wants to have themselves sex changed, they go there because it's cheaper there and that's the same with Americans going South for their medical needs and wants to cut a lot of cost for their medical bills.

Even it's not that too long ago still that gives you that nostalgic feeling on how you had your humble beginnings. I also remember that's like the era of faucets where most newbies started with them.

Selling on 2018 was like a move that you'll never forget. A friend of mine that holds quite good amount of bitcoin back on 2018 sold everything that he's got, and the reason? He's too stressed with the price and thought that it will drop more. My last news about him is that he's no longer in the market.

Those that haven't got a bitcoin yet, there's no competition that you're being forced to join. There's the chill and easy way of DCA and that's the best strategy to accumulate whatever is the experience that you've gone with.

1264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics can humble anyone on: March 07, 2023, 10:08:04 AM
Let's say yeah that it can humble anyone but only when the time of election has come. They feel like they've been the best public servants of all time and I'm speaking about the corrupt ones because I still have that hope in some good countries, they've got the best leaders that has political will and the heart to serve their people and those are the actual humble ones.
Politics is a dirty game, and in some countries it involves blood shed, because they will want to enter that position by any means, and when they have gotten power they will not even think of serving the masses, and they will not want to leave power when thier tenure is over, politicians are never humble, they are only humble when they are contesting that is the time for election,
Yes, it's truly a dirty game.

Those that have tasted power in the public office will crave for more and might do a lot of things just to be back at it again. They know how much they can get from it but this is at least for those corrupt places and countries.

There are still good countries that has kind and good leaders.

they will make you believe that they are God sent, but just wait let they enter that sit then you will now see how demonic and wicked they are, even to there children will become very rude.
They'll tell you all the kindest words that you'll like but then after election and when people are in need, they are nowhere to be found.
1265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The love I have for bitcoin on: March 06, 2023, 07:06:53 PM
When you think of cryptocurrency, the first thing that comes to your mind is bitcoin, you know why? Because it's the most reliable digital asset.
The crypto space might be bearish right now, but bitcoin always have his way of bouncing back.
Last year December when bitcoin was reduced to a new low due to ftx bankruptcy, most people think bitcoin is dead
Those people that have thought bitcoin was dead were the ones that don't really own bitcoin. They are the people that wishes unfortune for those that's part of the market because they know that something bad is going on.

I told most of my friends to buy it as at them, they all refuse, but look at it today, it always stands tall because it is the future of finance.
We've been telling this to a lot but they were just ignoring all of those tips that we're telling them to buy bitcoin. Those dramas and issues are temporary as bitcoin no matter what happens, it's certain to recover.

And we can't force them to buy even if we badly want them to go early before the next bull run cycle.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 06, 2023, 03:39:24 PM
That's so true.

Even if somebody really wants to share it without bad intention, there will be critics that would tell about what they think of it as a critic and not to encourage others.

That's okay and sometimes I'm also like that person even if there's the good intention of just sharing of what has happened even if it's just a good experience.
You cannot please everyone so whether your intention is good, there will always be negative criticisms coming from the people and worst is, you cannot stop them from doing that. However, I don’t see OP is bragging here. He just want to share about his big winnings using this kind of strategy. But even so, I believe he really had the best luck that time that’s why he won such a huge amount.
We're the same thoughts about what OP has shared. It's not the first time he did it and there is the other that's even larger with the said amount on this thread.

Luck is with him on those wins but it would be a great story again if he can tell his failures and we all know that a winner that has won through gambling, they've been through a lot of unsuccessful attempts as well.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and SEC Are Friends! Ugly Truth! on: March 06, 2023, 10:18:48 AM
XRP made to $3 as its former ATH. If you think that Ripple and SEC has nothing to do with each other then they're just wasting both of their resources from the filed case.

First of all, xrp didnt hit its former ATH after 5 years, Just go open xrp chart and see again, Because if you dont understand a simple chart I dont expect you understand other things too.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying and that's why I've said that it has "made" $3 before as its former ATH.

And as you have added with the 5 years span, it hasn't reached that price again for that long.

But you haven't answered my question about how you ended up with that percentage about having 90% of all tweets came from bots.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and SEC Are Friends! Ugly Truth! on: March 05, 2023, 10:51:16 PM
XRP made to $3 as its former ATH. If you think that Ripple and SEC has nothing to do with each other then they're just wasting both of their resources from the filed case.

90 % of all Tweets about xrp on Twitter are from AI (artificial intelligence) Chat bots to promote xrp by ripple UNOFICIALY .
Well, actually Tweets shouldn't be a basis only for promotion because there are other mediums where a project can be advertised. And since when you've made that research and ending up with that thought that 90% of all tweets about them are AI generated?

I don't like XRP but how it you come up with that number?
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 05, 2023, 09:53:20 PM

I get that, those that really are for bragging wouldn't show results of their wins but the things that they've bought with their profit. And it seems that it doesn't look like a big deal to him because, it didn't just happened once.
OP shows results he can brag about it and at the same time be proud of something that he achieved because it's not that every day we can see a huge amount of winning for a small bet like that.
And OP advises that

Always remember to only bet what you can afford to lose and gamble responsibly.  Smiley Smiley

So it's extreme luck that he achieved that, and it's not because he planned it or he has a strategy for how to reach it, he acknowledges it through extreme luck.
Yeah, and as he has taken it not that easy with that win, he's free to share it or not and the same goes for his losses. When unexpected results and you just want to share how happy you are, there will be some folks that won't like it whether your only intention is to share it.

But let's just end it there and having that said, if I see someone that I think is really bragging it, still it won't matter to me because if that's their happiness then I won't cut the fun neither chase it.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: What balance is required to earn $636.75 in monthly dividends on: March 05, 2023, 08:47:27 PM
Warren Buffett even said that compounding interest is the 8th wonder of the world.
Correct me, but is it Warren Buffett who said that and not Albert Einstein?
I stand to be corrected, I've and read it from those quotes and inspiring images that they're quoting it from Warren Buffett so it made me believed that it originated from Warren Buffett.

But then with my research as you've asked it, you're correct it originally come from Albert Einstein. Damn, these inspirational quotations that they've misled me.

The situation in Crypto is much more difficult due to the spread of scam investment projects on a large scale, so it is not easy to obtain a good credibility investment project with a high passive income.
It will start from that goal of 'high' on the description. That's what the scammers are using and attaching it with 'passive income'. In reality, most legitimate investments don't offer a lot of interest and it's lesser risk. But due to the nature of human that wants to earn more, scammers take advantage of it.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 04, 2023, 10:00:19 PM
Most of us do really become that paranoid when it comes to scam and frauds on online world and we've been through lots of those and this is why im not shocked nor get blame those people who do have
doubts anytime that people would tend to share up something. They would really be that hesitant for whatever things they would really be able to encounter but its true that it is really that too much
when people are really just tending to share up something just because they are glad or happy on what they had able to hit up.

We cant blame them though but its not bad to let loose sometimes and tending to see on what people are trying to share up.
Yes, I totally understand them on why they feel some doubts whenever someone could probably have no intention of bragging or attempting to scam but has pure intentions to just share their experiences.

This is normal even in our society or our community. There are people who will criticize you just because you are reaching good milestones. Winning stories like this should inspire us who are aiming to win the same amount of profit as well but if we see it as a wrong thing, then the problem is in us. Op deserves to be congratulated rather than to be criticized because not everyone could have the courage to share their winning stories.
I am fan of those gamblers or investors that are really making good gains. But if I know that there's something wrong with what they share and IMO there's something with it and just like the people who's doubting what's being shared, I completely stop following them.

But if there's no harm at all, there's nothing to worry about but it's good to criticize for them to give others a warning that not everything we see that's being shared is true but not also bad to give the benefit of the doubt.

I would do the same even if faced with criticism, humans want to share their joy and hardships I don't see it as bragging because it's hard to hit that jackpot with a very small amount, it can only happen in a blue moon and you are extremely lucky if it happens to you, so I'm not one to criticize him for bragging and will even congratulate him, who knows maybe I'm next and I also want the same treatment I've given to OP.
Yeah, it's a rare situation and someone's joy could really be overflowing and that's why it's being shared through here.

Wouldn't that only apply if he showed his face sitting on a lambo? I mean the thing that he could want to be bragging about it. This way who cares, it is interesting to see the bet he published here to have worked out for him. I still can't believe it though because if you do the maths, like multiply the 19-1 probabilities with each other, it is insane that it worked out for him. The way he talks it comes across as if it wasn't that big of a deal. But the calculation for an appropriate average probability of X (X=win) to the power of 18 (-1 because one was voided) shows that it is not going to work out very often Wink

Even if you say that his average winning probability for the 18 legs was 65:35, the probability to win that combination bet is 0.65^18 = 0.00042898333. This means such a bet would have to be played. Now you might say that the average probability was higher, but the bet on Kansas City with odds of 3.64, the bet on the dodgers with 2.39 and the bet on Seattle Storm with 2.12 drastically lower the average probability of X. Those three bets alone in a combination would be a high risk bet already.
I get that, those that really are for bragging wouldn't show results of their wins but the things that they've bought with their profit. And it seems that it doesn't look like a big deal to him because, it didn't just happened once.

Talon is something else and I can say that they've been consistent since the qualifiers has started but beating Team Spirit, they shouldn't give their comfort heroes.

I've noticed on the past match of PSG.LGD and Team Spirit, the comfort heroes of Team Spirit weren't banned and that's why Talon should be wise on banning it later on.

Right now, Team Aster and EG are battling to move against Shopify Rebellion and the time adjustment isn't going to be a lot for whoever wins this match. It's just an allowance of 5 hours from now but I guess there will be some adjustments if Team Aster and EG goes on game 3.

Talon are doing it! They have a better draft in 3rd map in my opinion and it should be a victory by the end of the game. If this will be the case , then , Spirit will have back 2 back reverse sweep and that won't be good for current team.

I'm also certain that EG vs SR will be a game with big egos trying to prove who's the best.
That was an intense match honestly. Regarding that match against Team Spirit, many fans did noticed on the chat on how Yatoro reacted as he's the first one to leave the stage and didn't shook hands with anyone.

Well, that surely is part of frustration but he should have shown something better and being a sport to this tournament.

Also, Talon did won a sweep against Entity and they're now moving to the lower bracket semi final with SR.

While on top bracket, Team Liquid was sent to the lower bracket by Gaimin Gladiators and GG advances and is now waiting to the grand finals.

Warren Buffett even said that compounding interest is the 8th wonder of the world. And having a good amount of interest and dividends from the stocks will require you decent amount of stock and capital.

As pointed out about the inflation, the interest should even be greater to at least defeat and cope up with it.

Many are still not yet educated about beating inflation and compounding interest is one of it but still, the percentage differs from time to time or annually.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 03, 2023, 08:39:26 PM
I'm not going to argue with that one because as always, whether we like it or not, people will always find a way to criticize you even if your motive was not to brag as I believe that OP's only intention was just to share what he had experienced recently. We couldn't blame him for that as the OP was just happy.
That's so true.

Even if somebody really wants to share it without bad intention, there will be critics that would tell about what they think of it as a critic and not to encourage others.

That's okay and sometimes I'm also like that person even if there's the good intention of just sharing of what has happened even if it's just a good experience.

Politics is just so dirty and with most belief, it's opposite with what's indicated in the title. It's making those in the position and even their sons and daughters to have that kind of power they feel from their fathers or mothers who's in the authority.

I have to agree with you on this, politics is the dirtiest thing in this world, people who do politics have nothing they dare not do, they are willing to give up everything to get power, even to destroy their loved ones. I don't know if there are any countries in the world that have good politicians who always sacrifice and think for the people, but what I see in my country or neighboring countries, it's all garbage, dirty the most I've ever seen.
I have seen a few in Japan, although it could be a bias video that I've watched and there could be prefectures there that have a different actuality with what we think of.

But overall, it's a country that's full of respect, polite people and their culture is really different. If a politician there is found and caught to be doing something else which is out of their scope and does corruption, they're the ones to do harakiri.

I haven't been there though and I don't know a lot on their politics and I've just watched a couple of videos showing how good their politicians are but behind that, there could be way way more things that I and we don't know much.

I'm also waiting for Talon game today , just to watch 23 and how he will perform vs Team Spirit who are kinda having internal problems once again with Mira and Miposhka kinda having different strategies and visions on the meta and their picks and I do hope this Spirit won't have another memeber leaving after this major like it was the case with TorontoTokyo who had a fight with Mira about being more flexing with mid heroes and adapt during new patches which he refuses to do and moved to a POS5 with BetBoom and we all saw how this went for him. Anyway, Talon vs Spirit is very tense game for today.

LGD will never be the same again. Ame has retired from competitive DOTA and so has Faith_bian. They still put up a fairly good fight and made it to game 3 against Team Spirit but LGD doesnt seem to have the same edge like they used to. Maybe the new kids on the block will mature quickly and get to a similar level that they previous LGD had. One can only hope.
Yeah, they won't be the same again. I think if it's for the first game, have you seen the great combo of what happened at the bottom tower with the Treant OGing and then being followed up by the wrath of Nature and then other ultimates from spectre and dawn breaker?

That was one of the best combos that I've seen on this tournament and it was such a lovely moment to see.

It just so happen that the spectre didn't became the carry for that game and its presence wasn't really felt because of nature's prophet. Well then, Team Spirit advances and they'll be up against Talon Esports.
1279  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 02, 2023, 03:20:57 PM
I wonder if higher education will help for entrepreneurship?
I am more interested in how much theory will help in this, because during a long study we do not get practice, this will be possible only when we start doing business, until that moment we will not be able to know how much it will help us.

This can help us if we need a license, but in some cases it can be obtained without a higher education.

Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder,
If it's for entrepreneurship, you get the theoretical ideas from pursuing higher education. But in actuality, where you'll learn more about entrepreneurship is through having your own business and start up.

That will be the actual training for those that want to get into entrepreneurship and learn more with it.

for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?
I'm sure that it's useful for most of them because it's like having a mentor and understanding the experiences of the actual entrepreneurs through sharing what they've been through.
1280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is to grow your money on: March 01, 2023, 11:05:06 PM
The reality in investing bitcoin nowadays is that, the higher capital you've got, the higher chance you'll make much profit but the higher risk that you should take.

That's why those that think becoming rich on it is possible by just having little capital, it may take a lot of time and that depends on how little that capital may be.

As for the beginners, please do not think that you're rushing and always in a hurry as you invest in bitcoin. Most of those investors that have made their ways to riches are the patient ones.
