1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DigitalCoinFarm - Get shares to build your own cloud scrypt asic miner today on: March 27, 2014, 12:41:58 PM
I agree, if cryptostocks ever goes down you can still communicated with your shareholders and continue operations. For that you have to be able to see the shareholders emails and how much shares they have. If you don't have a backup yet I suggest you make one right now.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Ticker    COINFARM - DigitalCoinFarm
Date   26 Mar 18:53 Day-30, dividend paid.
Please set your email account,s 2fa enable.  Some people is reporting their stock account been hacked. The password has been reset by others.

Set your email to be un-visible
Set your email,s 2fa function to enable

The owner of cryptostock said, reset password without enter 2fa code is method to let people who lost their device to access their account.

So we have to protect our email account.

If we disclose (visible) our e-mail we might have a backup if the site ever goes down and you could still operate in private. If we set invisble it's hard to proof if the shareholder is legit or not.

Our e-mail adres is only visible for CEO's of each project to their shareholders. That means they need to hack your account to see our e-mail adres.

I think CryptoRush is having some massive issues today. Cryptorush also added a minus button on voting which I think is absolutely despicable!!!!

Hi all,

Please don't forget to vote:

We're at #2 at Cryptorush and not much behind.

As long as the value of the earlier shares is not diluted then its ok I suppose. And yes it should be announced and I think maybe even voted on.

I actually think that selling more shares over time is a good idea. Theoretically, that new money should produce a higher hash rate relative to older money already spent on older equipment. AND if the stock price is high enough, a few more shares would go a long way in terms of maintaining a constant or growing dividend return (provided that the new shares are announced well in advance, explained thoroughly, and don't cause a panic). Thoughts?

I agree, the p2pool is a horrible idea. Please don't do that. It is a lot better to mine on normal pool with steady payouts.
1265  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: March 25, 2014, 05:30:48 PM
I sure hope not.

i fear that the whole cryptostocks platform could be abandoned by the users if the know vircurex is run by the same guy  Embarrassed
yesterday i saw a lot of sell orders here on cryptostocks. maybe the first users wanted to get out their cryptocoins and therefore sold their investments?!?!

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PETITION] Add GRIDCOIN (GRC) to crypto-trade.com on: March 25, 2014, 01:15:00 PM
Gridcoin is already on several exchanges.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gridcoin (GRC) - first coin utilizing BOINC - Official Thread on: March 25, 2014, 12:20:26 PM
Yes, add that line to your gridcoin.conf file and you should sync right up.

Seriously people - with every node you have listed, and the latest wallet, I still cannot get any connections.

The coin is obviously alive - why can no one post a list of nodes?

addnode=98.114.181.178
addnode=76.187.184.27
addnode=66.187.94.194

I am pretty sure scrypt sleep is Off for now.

Hello everybody,

I have 3 projects in my BOINC - Milkyway, Eistein and Malariacontrol.

The "Recent Average Credit" on the respective "BOINC pages" are

Milkyway - 1085
Malaria control - 41
Einstein - 80

My mining console shows x,100 for the components which means its only recording 100 for RAC as far as mining is concerned.

My question is -

How long does it take for the mining console to catch up (Since the BOINC pages show updated credits)?

Since I want my RAC in mining to be above 1000 for full GRC subsidy, will removing Malaria control and Einstein help me get it over 1K RAC. This because I believe RAC for mining is probably the weighted average of the projects involved in, if thats not the case how is it calculated ?? And what adjustments can I do to get my mining RAC up faster ?

ALSO : What are the 3 lines that need to be added to my cgminer config to enable scrypt sleep, I believe it was something like api-listen: true, api=port:4000 or something. Can't remember the exact details, maybe someone could help me with that too.

Any and all help appreciated.

Regards

UPDATE : Nvm, got the RAC part all sorted. However, still need to know abpout the 3 api lines and what difference do they make if any.

I think that would cost extra, let me ask him.

I had a graphic designer create this Infographic for Gridocoin. You can use this freely and post it on reddit or other forums to showcase what Gridcoin is all about.

Any chance you could get the individual layers or images used from the graphic designer so I could make the reddit.com/r/gridcoin subreddit look similar?

I think a poker tournament will be great.

okay folks. So now that we've smoothed out the bumps, we're ready for round 2, and we're open to suggestions as to how to use our platform to promote BlackCoin. Afaik we're at this point the largest merchant other than an exchange doing business in the space.

We chose BlackCoin for a reason, which I think is pretty obvious to everyone here. But the coin does need wider exposure. That's where I think we can help.

We would be happy to set something up like a BlackCoin-only deposit bonus, or a BlackCoin poker tournament where coins get mixed and people get to know each other. Tell us what you want, and we will be happy to make the casino a social space for the fledgling community -- as well as give something back.

One thing we've considered is a discount for our existing Bitcoin users who decide to withdraw in BlackCoin -- effectively an added incentive. But there are a lot of things that can be done.

Everyone should feel free to PM me with thoughts and we wil announce something later in the week once we've sorted through the possibilities. We like this coin a lot and we're proud to be representing it!

The pool is being moved because of the DDoS attacks.

any idea where pool.gridcoin.us went?  i had mined a bunch of coins on there, but it's been unreachable for about 2 days now.

i'm sure rob is working on it. The past few days gridcoin had some "hacker" problem and dDos attack!
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Gridcoin (GRC) - first coin utilizing BOINC - Official Thread on: March 21, 2014, 04:12:47 PM
My wallet is synching just fine, try deleting the existing nodes file in the appdata folder it should find connections.

Nodes? We have the latet wallet now but absolutely zero connections. Spent an hour looking for nodes last night. Nothing.
