1282  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 05:20:55 PM
They gave you one of our the paying customers miners because AMT hoped you would say nice stuff. AMTs voice is on the camera, still we know it's them.

Not "them" but "him". Joshua Zipkin.

Good to know Jim Brown is Joshua Zipkin's brother in real life (unless he meant masonic brother). Either way, I wouldn't let these dolts have more time. They are obviously incompetent, god only knows how the miner will perform IF it's ever delivered. Read back about Stan-O's and Biomech's bitfury based miner if you want a preview of things to come...

Better to let the lawyers tear into them and recoup our funds, THAN wait it out for these sloppily assembled, under performing, soon to be - paperweights!

The video (and Bruno's statements) prove that Joshua Zipkin gave away a free miner to silence a critic. This is so fucked up and wrong on so many levels. Hopefully Bruno will help use that miner to do a little PI work and see what's inside, how it performs, so on and so forth.

Josh posted about all of these delays revolving around the cage. Well, it's good to know that all this time wasted and R&D were simply for some stupid cages and the case setup for the boards. These boards could of theoretically been running in clients' hands weeks ago, if AMT knew what they were doing in terms of a case design (or simply OMITTED the case idea). They really wanted to stuff this whole setup into a non-expandable desktop tower, and now everyone is paying the price for THAT stupid decision.

This is the problem folks, like Phin said: "Josh is not an engineer, he just orchestrates the whole thing". For AMT to ever have been successful, they needed technical people making decisions from the top down. Instead we got some buffoon with a fake Marketing degree from Penn State. Now what? We hear they are hemorrhaging money and have taken out loans on their houses because this whole clusterfuck of an operation is unprofitable. What did you expect? This is why we needed to dig into Joshua Zipkin's past earlier in the thread, to know whether this guy has the skills required to take on some of these tasks. Sad to say we learned he is not only technically incompetent, but isn't very honest either.

Joshua, you need to do the right thing and honor refunds as they come in. If AMT is insolvent, then you need to let people know. Your silence is just exacerbating the problem, as more people line up to get lawyers.
1283  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 03:28:40 AM

Once again, no hard evidence of anything. Just a bunch of hearsay and more delay tactics.

As for Phin, he's officially SOLD OUT.

1. Drives 12 hours and doesn't go to the assembly plant
2. Says AMT and the miners are legit and hashing away (we dont see any of that in the video)
3. Doesn't prove much, other than his word is worth about $5000 (or the cost of a miner)

I suggest everyone file against AMT and forget about receiving their vaporware miners. Even if they can get them out the door soon, why would you want to continue supporting Joshua/AMT?

I think we should put them out of business while recouping our investment.

YOU ARE NOT A CLIENT NOR A CUSTOMER - WE HAVE ALSO BANNED YOU FROM PURCHASING OUR MINERS.

OH DEAR GOD. WHATEVER WILL I DO???

I know...in the future I'll buy from companies that aren't run by retards.
1284  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 09:55:11 PM
Sir: it is not speculative. Using a bitcoin calculator and putting in the 1.2Th/s hash rate, 1500W it gives you a definitive number of at least $1800 of mining income lost. It would be speculative if I was trying to figure out lost income for April. The clock keeps ticking.  There is nothing up to the imagination, I ordered a 1.2T miner, I was promised it would ship by Feb. I lost income. Those are all facts.

Sorry, but that's not the case. Because the difficulty would have been different if you (and the others who did not but would have)received the miner(s). Every other argument you've made is valid in court. That one a first day law student would shoot down. Successfully.

100% correct.

Cheesy I cheated. My wife is a lawyer. I asked her.

Could you  do me a favor and ask her if advertising 300-600 watts but delivering 900-1300 watts would be considered bait and switch or just deceptive advertising?
False advertising, plain and simple.

I have a heck of lot more to share, but now under a time constraint.

More to come. I promise.

~Bruno Kucinskas

Thank you for clearing things up. Hats off sir and well played!

I'm glad I reserved judgement till the facts surfaced. the whole thing smelled of goats ass from the beginning. thanks Phin for driving across the country to try to get the info for the community but I think most of us already knew AMT is incapable of telling the truth. Drive safe and looking forward to getting the real story.
+1

I originally thought "What the fuck! Bruno sold out!" but I guess if he had to lie his ass off to walk away from that meeting WITH ANYTHING (Josh had lied about the Bounty) - then so be it.

The video seemed setup, Bruno wasn't very convincing. Like someone had a gun pointed at him while he spoke, but I guess it turns out that he was just lying his ass off to appease Josh who was shooting the video.

Looking forward to the rest of the story.
1286  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 08:46:20 PM
That's the agreement Josh offered to in essence honor the bounty. In fact, he said that even if some other person brought me in, they, too, wouldn't have received the bounty. It wasn't something written in stone, and just a way to hopefully meet me face-to-face.

The post I need to pen will take a while, thus apologizing, once again, for not providing more details now.

I offer up the following to hold you till then.

AMT does have a viable office and has had since the beginning of the year.

Josh is way over his head with this endeavor.

Josh is not an engineer, just the person orchestrating AMT.

Will you get your miners? I'm leaning heavily to a yes answer. Will it be next week? Only if he ramps up production.

Do I trust him? No. Does he trust me? No.

Did I lie big-time to Josh to give me that demo-miner in their office in lieu of the 20 BTC bounty once I realized that he wasn't going to pay out within the first 5 minutes of our conversation? Yes. Let me repeat that - YES!

Was deleting posts from this thread part of that agreement? Yes.

Josh was concerned that I would have the mods of this forum reinstate my deleted posts. I'm here to state that that will not be the case.

Josh was convinced, and probably still is that I mine. I do not, and have stated such a myriad times on this forum and to others in person, i.e. conference attendees.

Josh wants me to moderate this this thread of AMT's for $1,000/mo. I wouldn't do it for $10,000 USD/mo. I honestly don't believe he would paid me, or any other, for said service regardless of the amount.

I'm 54 years old, thus been around the block a few times. I've had the pleasure of meeting a slew of characters in the construction trade and, moreover, on the poker tables. Being a winning poker player, and knowing full well that poker is NOT a card game play with people, BUT a people game play with cards, I knew exactly what hands Josh holds and plays, and would not even have to look at my hole cards.

Last night, Josh came to the table holding pocket rockets, whereupon I had rags. But, after the flop, turn and river, Josh couldn't play his best hand any longer, and I walked away with the pot, albeit it was heavily raked.

With that, let me share with you two books I've read more than once each: http://www.amazon.com/Beware-Naked-Man-Offers-Shirt/dp/0449911845 and http://www.amazon.com/Sharks-Without-Being-Eaten-Alive/dp/006074281X, both by the same author, of whom who choosed to compete in the envelop business, the first to advertise his product line on...wait for it... the top of trucks, oppose to on the traditional sides.

When I was getting ready to leave, I made a comment about a pineapple. Josh wasn't aware of the reference, thus had to bring him up to speed as to what I was eluding to.

Josh said that Ning Lu, that eBayer selling three miners, does not have possession of the miners, but was allowed to snap the pics to claim such on said listing.

I have a heck of lot more to share, but now under a time constraint.

More to come. I promise.

~Bruno Kucinskas

So, if I'm reading this right: Josh basically paid you off with a miner to retract your posts and say they are legit in a video, that he shot himself.

Wow, this sounds just like his other business ventures where he manipulates FAKE feedback (via social media and reviews).

The 20 BTC bounty was a lie that you drove across country for, but what was offered was the miner instead. Man, Josh can't even bribe someone without slipping a lie or two in there.

I agree with RICKJAMES, you didn't even see their assembly plant or hardware: and you think they will fulfill these orders. What the fuck? Based on what, a conversation with Josh?

All we have learned from this is that Josh is a compulsive liar and manipulator. Good luck to everyone waiting in the wings for their miner. I wouldn't trust this guy with a loaf of bread.

P.S - Think of this. Josh is crying about how they (AMT) are losing $$$ on these miners, yet he's offers one up (FOR FREE) to a poster here to remove slander and be positive. Wrap your head around THAT bullshit!
1287  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 07:49:18 PM

I haven't gotten a PM from you and I'm way behind on reading this thread to date, just happened to come across this post. Call me, for I'm in King of Prussia right now, for that was the only place for me to get a room last night. I'm ready to head to Baltimore after stopping for coffee.

815-508-1668

I could just about meet you anywhere.

When you get out of Baltimore,  will you be taking route 70 to head over to IL?  If so,  I can meet you along the route.   Maybe in Frederick, MD perhaps?

That's an excellent route to take to go back basically the way I came in, with the exception of probably heading toward Indy. Tomorrow afternoon would probably be the best time to meet up.

I think he was saying that he is willing to work on miners Bruno. You really need to spend a minute to explain that bs video. I've seen interrogations that looked less forced.

The first thing I need to clear up is that I was on the road all day, then playing cat and mouse with AMT to finally meet up with them after 10PM, then went through this thread to delete a shitload of comments after an hour-long discussion. Thus I look, and sound like shit. Actually, there were two videos, and haven't yet viewed the other one on YT. The second one shows the miner hashing away and Josh explaining the particulars.

More forthcoming. Stay tuned.

~Bruno Kucinskas

Wish you would share some details of that hour long conversation.

Either way, it sounds like you were paid off.

I'm amazed that you took a miner, knowing that there have been PAYING CUSTOMERS waiting months to receive theirs. Way to do the right thing!

Think about this people: With all the shit Phin posted, Josh singled him out to come up and prove AMT is legit. What does that make me think? Phin struck a cord(s) somewhere along his rants, probably uncovered some truth about Zipkin and his operation - and therefore Zipkin needed to defuse this situation. Something was posted by Phin that rubbed Josh the wrong way, hence this effort to have Phin take it all down. Good job Josh, you did it!

As it is, we've got the thread backed up and will be working on re posting all of this data about you and your sheisty ass company AMT. We aren't going to forget how you've wronged this community, just because someone like Phin was able to take a bribe to reverse his opinion on you & AMT.

ON a final note: it's truly AMAZING that they will go to these great lengths to convince us (shooting video of Phin confessing he's wrong), but STILL no evidence (videos/pictures) of the units hashing. Josh, don't you realize that this is the kind of thing that would PROVE your legitimacy to people? I feel stupid now trying to convince a CON ARTIST to do the right thing.

You guys smell that? Be careful not to step in the BULLSHIT.

I find it interesting that AMT 'Sold Phinneus a miner' and NOW he's looking to sell it.

Why would he buy a miner, only to turn around and sell it immediately?

Who also drives 12 hours then declines a 30 BTC bounty? Are you kidding me?...

This is such horseshit.

Quote
A quick note to let everybody know that I'm okay. I just woke up, having gotten in late from AMT's office. Have to checkout of this hotel soon, so at this penning I'm not sure what I may able to reply to. Apologies for not being too specific, but wanted to give a courtesy shout to take into considerations of any concerns one may have.

Also, I have a 1.2 THs in hand if anybody is interested in buying it from me. Ideally, I would like drop it off to anybody's location on my drive home to Illinois. I'm meeting up with Rassah later today in Baltimore if anybody is near that locale. Just PM or call me with your kind offer. 815-508-1668.

some lawyer should set up a business in the btc recovery area nicw little.niche there

Maybe we can hire that 'Merry Miner' dude to serve as a Debt Collector.

Maybe we can hire ROCKY BALBOA to be the debt collector. When the debt continues to go unpaid, ROCKY beats the shit out of him.

Remember, Rocky started out as a debt collector before he started fighting  Wink

AMT_Miners: It's in our best interest to know WHO is posting here under your account.  You say various workers for AMT; can we have some names please? We know Jim Brown and Joshua Zipkin. Who else?

You should make it official and let us know who is communicating with investors here on AMT's behalf.

1293  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 09:34:18 PM
AMT's goal:

DELAY DELAY DELAY

Listen to the others here: Time to take legal action. Don't sit on your hands and wait around for something that will never come.

If you're too lazy to seek out a lawyer, then you deserve what's coming. There are many people here that have already done the legwork, contact them and get the ball rolling in your favor.
1294  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 09:06:24 PM
If my machine will not ship in the next week I am up for that, my order is in the 950's.

Surprised any of you would still be pushing for this hardware considering ROI is impossible. Not sure what you guys are thinking. Wouldn't you rather have your money back to buy some Antminers?
1295  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 09:05:29 PM
If i were to receive another rig from AMT, FIRST thing i would do is remove it from it's case, BEFORE i turn it on.  The cases and configurations they are using are nothing but a waste of space and add extra cost.  just do the antminer thing, and ship without a case.  who cares what it looks like if it works.

See now that's a good idea. It would speed up assembly/shipping and it's basically what we did with the first units shipped out so far.

But that miner would basically be like our testing station #3.

Cage with fans mounted on the back, modules, mainboard and backplane, raspi and cables.  If anyone is up for that we're down to draft a quick agreement/form that states you as a client prefer to receive your miner in a disassembled and don't wish for the case assembly service.

Who's up for that?
i could be up for that, what sort of time frame would we be looking at if we did that?
I seriously doubt that the machines are delayed because they aren't fast enough to assemble them into cases.   That's absurd.

The most likely problem is that they can't drive 5 or 6 boards with a single power supply and case and not have it all blow up!

+1

At this point I'm concerned about whether the shit would even run w/o overheating/damaging parts once it's in the users' hands. If this were the case, they can say "We fulfilled our end, it must of been something you did!"

I still think the best course of action is to ask for refunds. They have missed their deadlines, miners aren't up to spec, and all of these delays more than justify a refund.
1296  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 07:39:16 PM

It's important that the whole setup be grounded to avoid any electrical issues or surges.

I agree though, the case was a complete waste of time and resources.
1297  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 07:16:15 PM
The people in this thread need to come together and decide AS A GROUP: whether we want to "wait it out for AMT" or to file against them together.

At this point they are peddling shoddy vaporware. The build quality is pretty awful, and they haven't proved that they will stand behind any warranty or their infamous MPP. What will you do if the boards burn out after a month of running it? Hope AMT comes to the rescue? Good luck with that, or getting a refund at that point.

I know this situation sucks for everyone across the board, but I just don't see the benefit in waiting for these miners any longer. They will not ROI and based on their design, you'd be lucky to get a few months of uptime without some kind of issue.

Perhaps we can have a large meeting on a specific date where everyone jumps into a chat room or Skype to talk about this mess, and where to go from there.

I suggest sooner than later.
1298  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 06:46:32 PM
6 cases.

Very reassuring.

Any other photos?

Today we'll make some special pics for you.

Why do we need to ask customers to show pictures of your company's progress?

Is it not your responsibility to provide a progress report to paying customers?

You are beating a dead horse.

AMT knows what the customers want and need to be reassured. They choose not to update us. This is very telling of their operation.

We still have yet to see better photos of the internals, and the device hashing. Until we get some solid evidence, everything else is hearsay.
1299  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 06:35:45 PM
Only thing I can think of is they are getting the office pick up orders out of the way first.....presumably. I know I could go but again I am at the ass end of the queue. So who knows. But yea I can see why people think you are a plant if you arent even giving up the order number. You got your order so there should be no reason to hold back that info.

Something as simple as an Order # and the guy can't even reveal it!

Total B.S.

Waiting for the next plant to show up.

His order was #609 and he ordered several units, he left with one, he'll come get the rest in a few days.
Curious as to why you are answering questions that are directed to MBLACKOUT.

You really aren't helping the nay-sayers here by taking it upon yourself to answer questions for him.

Let's see what Phin says about this all. I trust we can get some unbiased reviews about AMT's operation from him.
1300  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 06:31:50 PM
6 cases.Very reassuring (NOT).

Antec makes great cases, but I fail to see how they make sense used in this application. I have had many Antec cases, and even with MANY fans installed, a high powered graphics card can get things quite warm inside.

I still think a milk crate would be 100x better than a stuffed PC case.

Any other photos?
