Josh, stop spending money on Glamour Shots and send me my refund!

he must be friends with the girl from Napoleon Dynamite.  LOL

What's he looking at anyways?

I think he might be eyeing the light bulbs above, thinking about a way to steal them on his way out of the glamour shots office.
1262  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 02, 2014, 06:22:47 PM
for a 2nd psu, try this

just a piece of paperclip jumpered between the green wire, and the black wire next to it.  Look it up before you proceed, i dont recall the pin #s off hand.  easy to do, and mine's been fine for months.  no heat or anything.

may i ask why u have a silica pack attached?

To keep moisture out? Duh.
1263  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 02, 2014, 04:09:08 PM
Yep, found out both backplanes were fried from what seems to be a COLD solder joint.

I have soldered one and its working...err....better...waiting for my USB hub and 20 pin to USB adaptors to come in, I am not wasting my time with this thing. :-P

Can you explain this? If it was a cold solder joint, re-soldering would have fixed the problem and made a good connection between board and pin. A cold solder joint means it would have been an intermittent connection. Often this happens when a robot does the soldering when mass creating circuit boards, and the calculation is wrong because if dissimilar metal and the heat calculations. For instance, you make all your calculations, but one of the pins is not the same metal you made the original calculation on. If you re-soldered the joint and you still have a problem, then it was not a cold solder issue after all. This was the problem in my 1999 Pontiac GTP with the heads up display, the HUD was sometimes dim or intermittent. The undocumented fix was to take out the circuit board and resolder the joints, after that was done it worked. Either it will work or not, if you re-solder the joints it should work. If it doesn't there is another kind of issue going on.

What do you mean it works "better"? ... You said it was "fried" but also said it works? "fried" would imply the backplane does not work anymore...

Need some more details on this from you...

This is what Quality Control testing is for.
1264  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 01, 2014, 05:00:24 PM
When Bruno went to pick up his miner, they said something to the effect of "good luck with that miner that overheats". They also seem to want revenge on those of us who filed complaints.  I don't feel safe accepting a miner from them at this point. I feel the need to report this in addition to my fraud case.
IF you can find some proof thats ok but you turn up to your case in court the judge say did they say this....."erm i think they did" hel laugh you back out of the room
and yes the unit over heats due to the cooling propertys of the case its in which ends up in a unit shut down and half hour reboot prcedure. pleas stop trying to insinuate its a bomb in a box christ they could ship you a box of blooming saars or ebola virus. but they wont

dude wtf? get off of AMT's nuts!! who the fuck are you anyway jonny come lately? fuck off with your AMT fanboy shit. you are not going to get your miner any faster. you are little peon to AMT and they could care less about you. Stop acting like such a tool!

It's called KISSING ASS in hopes to get preferential treatment.

All part of AMT's plan to turn pre orderers against each other, and give false hope that they will treat you any different if you defend them.

1265  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 01, 2014, 04:51:21 PM
If any of you believe that JOSH isn't the primary (and probably only) poster here, you need your head examined.

If you read the posts, it becomes quite obvious that our boy Joshua Zipkin is the one and only poster here.

But, I like how he says it's other people posting. Once again, deflecting responsibility and attention away from himself.

I wouldn't trust him to keep his word on anything. As always, he's creating more delays and no one has anything to show for it.
1266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 01, 2014, 12:27:46 AM
Agreed. The higher wattage PSU's (1500+) are a ripoff and why would you want to push so much load over one supply?

Retarded design.

They should have taken a note from the ebayer who had pictures of a 4u rack case, with space for 2 PSU's.
1267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 01, 2014, 12:21:27 AM
Good luck using server power supplies. They are expensive, and the cabling usually isn't very long.

They also have proprietary connections based on the brand you buy, so you have to do research.

On a side note: I think it's a fucking embarrassment that AMT is saying they are out of power supplies. If they ship any miner without case, PSU, whatever - then a refund should be made to cover the cost of those items.
1268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 31, 2014, 11:52:52 PM
When trying different fans, first look at the cfm needed and just make sure ya at least match the total cfm of whatever they ship with. Or... maybe wedge some copper or aluminum tubing between the fins and plumb to a manifold for liquid-cooling... Wink Heck, I'd be tempted to pull the sinks and mount a cold-plate instead. Hmm...

On PSU's gotta say check Amazon or ebay, case in point, http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_n_feature_keywords_6?rh=n%3A1161760%2Ck%3Ahp+server+power+supply%2Cp_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A6906988011&keywords=hp+server+power+supply&ie=UTF8&qid=1396308246&rnid=6525659011

Only catch is that they usually have 1-2 heavy output buses in the form of big copper lugs. Folks sel lug to pcie cable breakouts or just make yer own from some sets of pcie extender cables.
The case is fucked because it can't natively support two power supplies in it.

That's why buying a desktop PC case for this design was retarded. So was hoping it'd all run off of one power supply, and be expandable, to boot.

The way I see it, it'd be better to have dual 750's or 1000watt PSU's - redundancy being the key here (not one power supply issue will take all boards offline).

Shop around for "dual power supply cable" - these will let you connect two powersupplies to one motherboard (or switch). They are fairly cheap.

1269  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 31, 2014, 06:23:19 PM
We've gotten a good amount of guys that would be ok with receiving just the kit.

The kit would include the following:

5 modules in the cage that is posted below.
The main board, back plane and gpio cable which connects the two.
Raspberry PI and SD-card which includes the operating system and user interface as well.
Fans - either 8x 80mm or 2 x140mm.
Network Cat 5 cable.

Accepting the above just gets your order out faster. It does not include order upgrades or power supplies (as we're short on PSU's anyway).

[/url]

Clients which opt for this setup ship within 2-3 days (or sooner).

We see clients are taking it out of the case anyway so we figure maybe its best to ship like that and ship faster.

Let us know via sales@advancedminers.com

Will customers that OPT for a DIY setup get any money back (case/psu) that aren't supplied with the order?

Can you ship everything (including case/psu) and let us assemble the miners ourselves?
1270  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 31, 2014, 06:18:21 PM
2-3 days? I don't have a power supply, can you tell me the model number of the one you are using so I can check the availability.

Any 1500 watt would be fine. A better supply with 20-30A per fail should be good. The supply should come with a minimum of 4x 6pin pcie connectors

Enermax 1500 maxrevo is the one we use but they are sold out for the moment.

Did you mean 2 - 3 days or 2 - 3 weeks?

Double check your posts before you submit and try to be clear.
1271  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 31, 2014, 04:45:41 PM
If these miners won't ROI, i'm wondering why everyone is still on the edge of their seat waiting for when they will arrive.
1272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 31, 2014, 06:54:16 AM
You (anyone as well) have enough to work with.

Did he actually show you a cease and desist request and not let you keep it? Or do you have a copy of it you can share.

If he does not have a copy of it in hand they did not serve him. He also has to sign for it officially. There is a process. If that did not happen a court cannot honor it.

He looked at it, and there were witnesses, it's enough. Ad we have recorded the majority of the conversation as well. Should be enough to sue for damages of business and a few other fun things. But we're considering going a different route in the mean time.

Do you record everybody who comes into your office? Do you also have hidden cameras under the desks so that you can later jack off to your pretty Jewish girls panties? Do you also have cameras at your mom's house so that you view her titties, wishing you can still suck them? Is their some Jewish tradition that I'm not familiar with that allows their grown sons to suck their momma's titties whenever he wants?

BTW, I don't recall you asking if can record our conversation. Is that legal in Pennsylvania?

You don't even realize that each time you come to this thread and post that you fuck up big time. I don't know what you had your Daddy-O pay for your 7 year business degree at Penn State, but if it was over a buck, he paid too much.

YOUR THE REASON CLIENTS DON'T GET UPDATES VIA THIS THREAD.

HEY DUMBASS, YOU WEREN'T UPDATING PEOPLE LONG BEFORE HE SHOWED UP.

GET A CLUE!
1273  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 30, 2014, 09:39:09 PM
to start sorry if this sounds harsh but your in the forces and have to go back to service this is your problem you chose to join the army and fight for your puppet master in campaigns he dictates any who its not amts specific fault your not there to recieve your miner due to being in iraq afghan isreal iran syria lybia or russia where ever your next game is he has hit issues and adressed them and is trying to get the train wreck moving again like most start up companies theres problems if i/we recieve our miners before a 6 month wait then were winners as bfl and most other companies make you wait but in fairness they say that at order amt didnt he expected nothing short of a miracle from this and well hes not god and had mortal issues so hows abouts we depress him some more with sniping trolling and memeing or trolling his public info about or we could calm it down and start letting him manage this thread i.e not a day and a half of stuff he has to dredge through just to find a legitimate question or statement from A CUSTOMER. your personal situations are nothing to do with amt just to reiterate. so he wont care and quite rightfully so

who the hell is this guy? puppet master? most start up companies? BFL?  mortal issues and legitimate questions? that was so much garbage i dont where to start. look here mr. "im comfortable on zipkin's nuts" - we, quite frankly, don't give two shits what your opinion of the armed forces is (or anything else for that matter). shut your cock sock and keep your opinions to your self.

HERE ARE THE ITEMS AMT HAS LIED ABOUT.

1. they lied about my initial delivery date
2. the lied about updating this thread every week
3. they lied about keeping an order queue
4. they lied about mailing me a refund
5. they lied about wiring me a refund
6. they have lied about saying they would hire people from this forum (twice)
7. they lied about something as dumb as being associated with Freemasons
8. they  lied about my second delivery date
9. they lied about being able to pay with credit cards on their website
10. THEY LIED ABOUT PAYING BRUNO 20btc
11. zipkin lied about saying he was going to ship my miner as "punishment" for calling him out on this website and amazon.com
12. they lied about the wattage

AMT IS RUN BY A CROOK CALLED JOSHUA ZIPKIN. IF YOU PURCHASE A MINER FROM THESE GUYS YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE COMING TO YOU.
right so you troll me for my use of words let me explain.

puppet master = the string puller in behind the operations and campaigns the member using the fact he has to go back to play the war games his puppet master has set. its not josh's fault this has happened but obamas or whom ever it is behind the campaigns or the users fault for being in the army. josh is guilty of delivering late due to set backs.

amt is a new start up company so inherent issues with time frames work force delivery's from suppliers misguided delivery dates money flow issues refunds!(spending all money gained in the PRE-ORDER state to fund the making of the miner) so you cant feasibly have a refund because your initial money wasn't there.

yes he said x many weeks but then all it takes is one set back say i dunno a week on chips for him to be a week behind then after receiving these chips putting them together which took an extra day or two than expected because hes short of 1/2 workers in hind sight maybe needed more workers so now hes a week and a half behind then after running the chips finds the heat sinks are not to scratch or just don't fit that's another week in the shop to fix this now 2.5 week behind then the cases he chose/got were not good enough so another week at a fabricators fixing the issues now 3.5 weeks behind now he has the cage/case sorted and the heat-sink issues sorted and the rest of it sussed hes approx 4 weeks behind...... i ordered in January with the expected delivery date of 29th march which was yesterday but it felt like iv been waiting a lot longer due to the lack of email communication/thread communication and after receiving a reply from someone stating it will be with you next week but not being here i was frustrated and clean out forgot yesterday was my dispatch date so i started raging here and in emails (not the best idea) now i use bfl as an example not in direct comparison if i ordered in the last week of january from bfl i would be waiting at least until the back end of July/beginning of august before my miner was assembled and shipped the only difference here is josh gave a very under estimated 8 week wait going on the best case scenario and not working from a worst case scenario. from what i have read from this post well amts stuff cutting out all the chaff hes had issues he acknowledges this and is trying to sort it out but having to come on here and go through say 15 pages a day of crud slander and slating by some customers and also none customers and having to search for the real concerns of a customer from the heres his face with some words heres his address heres where he went to school sue him sue him heres his car outside his house and what ever gets trolled out on here from the maybe 1 line question from a customer or even say me  coming on ad not had a look for 10 hrs to find 15 pages of shite to 2 posts that i am interested in from josh stating something about the miner its power or just a hey guys im 3 weeks behind miners ship soon i cant see it from the crud.

alls im saying really is stop with the same old shite day in day out like wheres my miner can i see pics why don't you answer lets sue him lets go burn down his warehouse lets visit him at home kkk style send him personal mail blah blah blah. and do what a companies official thread should do and try support the guy. it must be very depressing to wake up at 8am go to the office listen to 1000 voice mails from the last ten minutes of customers screaming words that make no sense reading through the vast tidal wave of emails that he receives trying to sort out the legitimate concerns from the fake spam he more than likely gets and then working a 10 hr shift building miners for customers that seem to not even care less about his situation atm. and then when he gets home he has this place to sift through more emails from the day and possibly 5 minutes for his wife and kids before he runs out of red bull passes out and wakes up at 8 am forgetting what the hell he was doing sinking an espresso and more red bull on his way to the office. i am one customer of many that is waiting for results but i find results herd to see materializing when the guys got so many things to do not included in the build process.

there is one way all this could be avoided and that's a closed forum or thread in which only customers receive the info to actually log in a place where there isn't 200+pages 15% of which are actually relevant to the company the rest are just the same questions over and over again and that way josh or representative could log in on an evening update a page with order numbers and pictures of miners in build or shipping areas ready to go and it wouldn't be missed a section in which he could look for alternative suppliers or ideas on how to package the kit a real community effort.

just to sumerise i ordered in January my miner is now approximately 1 day late in shipping given the setbacks i see a fesable delivery date of next week to two weeks from now if all goes well. pick at my spelling pick at my use of English do what ever you wish to degrade the words i use just because you wouldn't use it but it doesn't detract from the fact there is too much on this page on a daily basis to keep up with.

I could not read this shit. By the time I got to the third line with nay punctuation or coherent thought i gave up.

seriously ROFL look at that paragraph!! there isn't a single period or so much as a comma!!

TLDR.

Same goes for most posts by Opieum2. No offense man, but you keep repeating the same shit with a slight hint of over-optimism. Try getting to the point, instead of penning these EPIC long posts each time, and maybe more people will read them.
1274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 30, 2014, 05:13:45 PM
Just because this piece of shit Zipkin happens to be Jewish (supposedly) doesn't mean all Jews are lying crooks. This guy is a special case, living in some delusional world where he can rip people off, then blame the people he ripped off, for being ripped off.

Joshua Zipkin gives Jews a bad name.

I'm sorry to everyone here affected by this slimeball! This is why I've been saying that AMT is preying on this community and inevitably bad for bitcoin.
1275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 30, 2014, 07:24:10 AM
I don't care if clennell is right, all I know is that he is annoying as fuck.

Personally I hope AMT sues him. Because then at least josh will end up in the court room. ( I can't say on the stand or people start saying shit about law and order)
Then he will have to have the things he says sworn under oath.

I'm wondering if those records could be subpoenaed for any other pending court cases. I know there are a few of you out there with lawyers already.

I highly doubt AMT is suing anybody.
1276  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 10:36:32 PM
looking back at mblackouts earlier posts he said his order was originally due 1rst week in Jan. That would put him in the upper 600's.
With AMT having shipped out so many miners it is starting to look like they are purposely skipping numbers on the unofficial list as Mblackout has never given out his number that I can find.

Probably not but it makes you think, who are they shipping all these miners to?

Josh stated to me that there were a lot of hosting outfits that ordered a slew of miners he felt should get the units first regardless of queue position.

Then why are is there even an order queue?

Ridiculous.

As for saving Josh a headache, who gives a fuck about his welfare? Hopefully we can give the guy an aneurysm.
1277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 10:30:37 PM
That sucks if that's the case. Here are our options:

1> Receive miner VERY late. It cannot ROI. Left with trying to resell it as soon as you get it to someone stupid enough to buy it.

2> Everyone sues and tries this way to get their money back. If no money is returned, well maybe jail time for Joshy boy.

You're right, both of these options suck. How about pipe dream option #3???

3> Josh reveals to us on Monday, that to make up for everything, he just finished drop shipping 3.2 TH miners to everyone that ordered and we receive them the next day.

Let's be optimistic, maybe #3 will happen!  Roll Eyes

~Bruno Kucinskas aka the dog aka little school girl

@josh sticks a pineapple tree in brunos ass Cheesy good job mr.Kucinskas

great movie Cheesy

How did you like the part where Josh asked me about the bounty agreement, and I stated that we made an agreement?

I firmly believe that even if Josh wasn't so tired and stoned on RedBulls, he still couldn't have played his pocket aces well against my rags. Remember, never trust a naked man that offers you his shirt.

When you first met him and asked about the bounty, what did he say in regards to paying it?

Were you upset he wasn't going to honor the bounty? I would; then again, it wouldn't surprise me that he'd renege on that deal.

I think he was desperate to get you take down the posts related to his father, because it could of lead to issues when people googled Daddy-O. I also think you hit on some hard truths, he didn't want the public to know. When you think about it, when people begin searching for Joshua Zipkin, all these posts will surface and taint his image.
1279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 08:22:54 PM
Curious if we might be able to pull data off that miner, and reveal AMT's wallet information.

Curious how much mining they have been doing themselves.

They say they aren't miners, but if they are truly 'taking a loss on this operation' - i'm sure they'd be mining their asses off to make up for it.

As for the loans against their houses, I would be willing to bet 100% that's a lie.
1280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 08:14:56 PM
They gave you one of our the paying customers miners because AMT hoped you would say nice stuff. AMTs voice is on the camera, still we know it's them.

Not "them" but "him". Joshua Zipkin.

Good to know Jim Brown is Joshua Zipkin's brother in real life (unless he meant masonic brother). Either way, I wouldn't let these dolts have more time. They are obviously incompetent, god only knows how the miner will perform IF it's ever delivered. Read back about Stan-O's and Biomech's bitfury based miner if you want a preview of things to come...

Better to let the lawyers tear into them and recoup our funds, THAN wait it out for these sloppily assembled, under performing, soon to be - paperweights!

The video (and Bruno's statements) prove that Joshua Zipkin gave away a free miner to silence a critic. This is so fucked up and wrong on so many levels. Hopefully Bruno will help use that miner to do a little PI work and see what's inside, how it performs, so on and so forth.

Josh posted about all of these delays revolving around the cage. Well, it's good to know that all this time wasted and R&D were simply for some stupid cages and the case setup for the boards. These boards could of theoretically been running in clients' hands weeks ago, if AMT knew what they were doing in terms of a case design (or simply OMITTED the case idea). They really wanted to stuff this whole setup into a non-expandable desktop tower, and now everyone is paying the price for THAT stupid decision.

This is the problem folks, like Phin said: "Josh is not an engineer, he just orchestrates the whole thing". For AMT to ever have been successful, they needed technical people making decisions from the top down. Instead we got some buffoon with a fake Marketing degree from Penn State. Now what? We hear they are hemorrhaging money and have taken out loans on their houses because this whole clusterfuck of an operation is unprofitable. What did you expect? This is why we needed to dig into Joshua Zipkin's past earlier in the thread, to know whether this guy has the skills required to take on some of these tasks. Sad to say we learned he is not only technically incompetent, but isn't very honest either.

Joshua, you need to do the right thing and honor refunds as they come in. If AMT is insolvent, then you need to let people know. Your silence is just exacerbating the problem, as more people line up to get lawyers.

This post pretty well nails it. You could just about take it to the bank (no pun intended) that there's no money for refunds. The best hope is for those who ordered to receive their miner no matter how long it would take (within reason, of course). The worst solution is suing their ass (not implying that you shouldn't, just thinking out loud), whereupon there will definitely be no moneys and AMT can file bankruptcy but still mine their asses off with the miners built on one's dime. Either way, Josh wins. As far as him having his house mortgage to finance AMT, for some reason I doubt that's the case, albeit Josh did claim such, but of course no way to prove it.

Meanwhile, I listed that miner I received for payment of that bounty that Josh reneged on: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=548614. Ideally, I would love to have it go to someone that's been hurt financially due to the AMT fiasco.

In closing, I want to state again (implied earlier) that I didn't sell out. I don't trust Josh Zipkin and will continue to expose him, but will take into consideration to not mention family member's names or addresses. Also, I, too, now have his personal phone number, but won't release it unless the worst happens.

Now that I have time, I will read and interact with the last ~400 posts on this thread to see what kind of help I can give to those involved in this mess. And, it is a mess!

Glad you didn't succumb to the dark side! What your saying in the video seemed so forced, but we realize now it's because you were lying your ass off to walk out of there with SOMETHING.

Welcome back!

Can you share more information about your meeting with Josh? There was a miner running on the table, was it indeed hooked up and hashing? Was visiting their "assembly plant" a viable option? Was there only 1 miner running there, and was that the one that you ended up taking home?
