1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is what bitcoin needs to be included on: May 29, 2015, 01:39:36 PM
I would love an embedded chat inside some of wallets, maybe not the bitcoin core one since its just not needed, but for HD wallets which are more private, it could be a good way. Of course the point is facebook is huge and would bring mass attraction to BTC.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum? Start using Intheoreum! Even better than Bitcoin! on: May 29, 2015, 01:03:20 PM
Does anyone still really care about Ethereum?  They've taken too long and have too little to show for all the investment they've had.  By the time they get off the ground they will already be completely redundant and other coins will have surpassed what they set out to do.  Any coins that opt to support AT will effectively have the same features that Ethereum would have had (assuming they ever finish it).  Not only is AT ready and working right now, but it also allows all the coins supporting it to trade directly from one blockchain to another without a third party exchange.  Ethereum is basically stillborn.
Nah, it's pretty much a failed project at this point imo. It was way too ambitious, which will translate in development getting stuck constantly. On the other hand, we have Maidsafe, an ambitious project, but in the making before even Bitcoin started, and making good process. Maidsafe is definitely the future of decentralized internet, and Bitcoin will still be the king currency/blockchain usage.
1323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash cancelled!! on: May 28, 2015, 09:55:16 PM
uhh ohh, but yesterday this smartass told us, that there will be crash. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1071394.0

such confussed  Huh Huh Huh
OP means he is a whale and was about to crash the market, but he cancelled his big orders. I doubt he is a real whale tho, his nickname is goxed. Once you go goxed, you never go whale.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash tomorrow! on: May 28, 2015, 09:52:57 PM
A big crash is incoming for tomorrow. You've been warned. Get ready to sell, don't be a bag-holder.

Very good nickname to spread one of the vaguest FUD threads I've seen over here, and I've seen plenty of FUD threads in my time.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Advantages of Dollar as the first currency for U.S on: May 28, 2015, 09:42:08 PM
Hello everyone, I want to know if there is any advantage in having dollar as the first international currency? Can US do print money and use it as a tool for paying its international debt,..?

The main advantage of dollar is it's network effect. Just like Bitcoin is the undisputed king of cryptos, the dollar is the undisputed king of fiat. No one is going to reject dollars out there. Therefore, they can get away with printing and printing, and people will keep accepting it regardless. But make no mistake, it's destined to collapse sooner or later, is just physics.
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 28, 2015, 09:37:45 PM
probably not , because the halving block reward is getting closer and closer which should be by the end of the next year , so there is a huge chance that the price will rise like hell . maybe multiply if the demand stays the same . and if it rise it will be better .
yes not really dead. Maybe its not famous and only few people know what is bitcoin and how its gonna work. But bitcoin is alive and many company or business still using it.

I dont think there are many company that use bitcoin as their payment, may be some of them use bitcoin but mostly they dont even care about bitcoin problems since they strong in fiat. If bitcoin has been used by many company I am sure the price will go to the moon in next year and everybody will start to invest in bitcoin for sure

All big companies are aware of Bitcoin and will use it as it will fit them. You saw how IBM used it for advertising their Cloud services in Brazil. Lot of projects are worked on and lots are already alive. But as normal they dont attract as much interest as they would 2 years ago.

I have friends in Brazil and they got a lot of BTC, they were a group and got almost 1 entire BTC in total, google "BTC Rain" there is a video about it.
1327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Circle is giving away $5/~0.021 BTC for new users on: May 28, 2015, 09:31:07 PM
Pretty good for newbs I guess, better than faucets. With that amount it would be easy to double it on the exchanges, then keep doubling it and being your 1 BTC quest.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. Government Mining Bitcoins on: May 28, 2015, 09:20:16 PM
Why mine it when you can create and shut down deepweb marketplaces on a bimonthly basis?

Not only this, but they got enough money to buy all of the supply. They can print money literally for god sakes. What stops them from buying a ton of it? probably being unaware.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the Blockchain on: May 28, 2015, 09:19:04 PM
Director Andrew Wagner has just begun a series of reviews of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and decentralization-based video games. It's called Gaming on the Blockchain; the first review is of Moonga, which is putting its online trading cards on the Bitcoin blockchain as smart property.

Check it out: http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/04/26/blockchain-gaming-moonga/
Has he heard of Motocoin?
The whole currency is run by a small moto simulation game. In this case, the blockchain is a game.
Too bad the dev left and the website expired.  Embarrassed

Yeah I remember this game. It seemed really innovative back them. Unfortunately it seems like it meet the same destiny most coins meet: being abandoned by the main dev. It could be picked p by anyone else tho, it's the good thing about open source.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation and Bitcoin, the last word on this forum on: May 25, 2015, 10:41:25 PM
It doesn't matter if huge whales hoard their coins, the Bitcoin economy would still be able to run under a couple coins being traded, since it's so divisible it doens't matter. It would just mean the price of a single Bitcoin is sky high. This is a perfectly self-regulated system.
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an actual Bitcoin bank yet? on: May 25, 2015, 10:37:25 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency managed by peer-to-peer technology (P2P2), without a central authority. All functions such as Bitcoin issuance, transaction processing and verification are carried out collectively by the network, without a central supervisor or agency to oversee operations. We don't need banks

But some people is not going to want to be their own banks, because they don't want to take responsability for it, so they will want to have the possibility of puting their wealth in the hands of a 3rd party, thats why Xapo exists, technically that would be a Bitcoin bank.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 25, 2015, 10:22:39 PM
But they dont adopt it easily in business because bitcoin need some regulation to make it clear that we can use it for businees

BTC doesnt need a regulation for it to be used as payment options. Basically regulations depends on each goverment, on the other hand some government are supporting and some banned BTC in their country. Having some regulations means that BTC is bowed to the goverment which is not the purposes of BTC to be a decentralized currency.

All people need is not a regulations but education on how better BTC is against FIAT. Some people just dont know how BTC is better and it can be change

If there are no regulations for the payment method or other things about bitcoin I dont think the government will support about this bitcoin in some countries. They will support this bitcoin when it comes to some profit that government can "eat".

The goverment will not support BTC since it brings them no good at all, things that cant be control or yearn some benefit for the goverment will not be consider at all . Basically they will just leave it aside and if things tend to be threatening then they will bann it i.e Rusia.

Furthermore, there will be huge rejection on applying tax for BTC incase the goverment want to gain something from it. This "tax" things has been issued year ago. You might want to read this ARTICLE and this ARTICLE too

Applying tax to btc is a pain in the ass tho. Imagine you bought BTC in an exchange that is now dead and all the information of the buys and sells are over... so what are going to do if they ask?
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mt gox claims on: May 25, 2015, 10:10:59 PM
Please send an email to support@mtgox.com - we will need to do additional verification to process your claim.

Just noticed your signature... would you still say Mt Gox is the leading international Bitcoin exchange? I think it's time to change it IMO. Just saying.
1334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: May 25, 2015, 10:03:53 PM
Lately i've learned about a lot of girls using it but it's always online, never in my life i've seen a bitcoiner in real life male or female. With streamnium once it works properly I think a lot of girls wll use it.
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks Google....For subconsciously linking Bitcoin to ISIS (Google "what is bit on: May 25, 2015, 10:02:41 PM
I thought the CC (captions) of a Youtube video automatically set itself according to your browser language/ip location.
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Streamium be the killer Bitcoin App? on: May 25, 2015, 10:00:23 PM
Pretty sure this will be a big one. Can't wait to see a lot of hot girls using this instead of the annoying cam sites which have been known to betray them privacy wise as well as the people that paid. So yeah there is an huge market for this.
1337  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Avatar Campaign | Next Gen Dicing | Join The Fun!! [FULL] on: May 25, 2015, 07:01:42 PM
I already said I wanted to re-enroll every month, it isn't even clearly stated in the OP if we need to re-enroll or not. IMO like I said before we shouldn't need to re enroll, just kick the spammy 50+post a day posters and let the rest stay. Anyway.. here we go:

1338  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign - 'Da' BEST Yet | HIGHEST RATES! | JOIN THE FUN! on: May 25, 2015, 06:53:49 PM
Here are my questions:

1) The term of avatar campaing is over, yet a lot of people didn't hit the 150+ post goal for the bonus because of the downtime. This is definitenly unfair. What are the situations proposed?

2) Since the term of the avatar campaing is over, will we (people already in) continue to be in for the next term? In any case (i've said it before) i want to be on the avatar campaing for as long as it's active (it should be like this, no need to re-enroll. New spots naturally appear every month because some people always spam with 50+ shit posts a day or whatever, this way you can keep quality posters that don't spam in the Avatar campaing)

Let us know please.
1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction on: May 21, 2015, 02:07:13 PM
It will go down thanks to 21INC. They will provide easy mining options to the masses. Which will decrease the price due to amount of miners.

How in hell is this relevant? And i don't think what 21inc is planning for will make the regular joe get a decent amount of BTC enough to have an impact on the market.
In any case, the halvings will take care of that guaranteeing dumping of mined coins is not a problem for the price.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 21, 2015, 02:03:57 PM
For sure not to invest on Real Estate ,that flood of printed money created one big bubble
stocks at that level the same ,part of money in bitcoin can be good saving, just be careful,if you can find save asset,it can be good, gold is over manipulated,so it is hard

Generally i think it will be crash on stocks, real estate, after crash,if you have cash you can invest more aggresive

In some countries I think the prices of real state are at it's lowest. Can the prices keep going down? in brazil some people has made fortunes, spain is also at all time lows with real state. How can it keep going any lower?
