1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 27, 2023, 04:34:20 PM
The ICC Women's T20 World Cup final match was truly remarkable. I have enjoyed this game since the beginning I really like it. In the final match, Australia won the toss and batted first, collecting 156 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The hosts lost 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and stopped at 137 runs. Australia won the women's T20 final match for the third consecutive time after defeating South Africa. With this, Australia won the world's best title for the 6th time in T20. My best wishes and congratulations to Australia for winning this World Cup final match.
Australia was a strong team from the start of the tournament and they rightly deserve to win this tournament.

However I like the fight which was shown by the South African women's cricket team in the final. Not a single moment in the match we could say that Australia could win comfortably. The South African team fight it tell the end but of course they could not cross the line.
It was a memorable world cup for the South Africans not only because the world cup was played in South Africa but the host team reach the final and show the good game. Losing is a part of the game but losing with dignity is what matter the most.

What I have observed from the final is that the South African women's team will need to improve the batting lineup a lot. Because if South Africa could score a little faster and if they could actually form any decent partnership, this match was winnable. But apart from one opener, South Africa could not actually perform well in the batting lineup. And that is the main reason why they lost in my opinion.

But at the same time, we have to give credit to Australia. I think we all knew that even though the target was not very big, Australia will probably be able to defend that.
1342  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: February 27, 2023, 08:59:51 AM
I really don't want to be romantic about this, but money doesn't solve every problem and there are things money can't buy. Also, an educated person can better see the opportunities around him and make better use of them. I think education should always be our first option, whether we have the money or not. Money is partly related to destiny, partly to our own efforts. I hope we all have a good fate, but we should always give more importance to education...

I disagree, today money can buy everything, what can't be bought with money, it will be bought with a lot of money. Our society has changed, not as good as before, where money is not everything. But between education and money, we should prioritize education because education not only helps us get a job that makes money, but it will help us have more opportunities in life than an uneducated person. In my opinion, education is still the root of all good things in this world.
1343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: February 27, 2023, 08:40:13 AM
I buy Bitcoin gradually when I have money and want to add to the Bitcoin that I have. I do hold Bitcoin for the long term, and I don't do much to set a buy price. when the price drops I will buy it. somehow I always think lightly when I want to invest in Bitcoin. I feel a different kind of pressure when I want to hold altcoins.

Bitcoins are best to be honest, when it comes to hold it for long term. Altcoins are less stable and have less marketcap than Bitcoins. So if you are thinking to hold it for long term, then Bitcoins will be the best. Moreover regarding the best time to buy Bitcoins, then let me tell you that there is no best time to buy the coin. Whenever you have enough money, buy the coin irrespective of it’s price. Bitcoins are way more valuable than what price it is now, so if you are able to buy the coins anywhere less than 30k usd then consider yourself lucky. Buy as many coins as you can and enjoy later.
as long as you have high patience and what is used is cold money, then I think whatever is a good time to buy bitcoin. especially if you buy it in stages if you have money, and buy it at $ 60k, then someday the price will exceed the last ath, and you can buy it back at the current price, so you don't have to worry if you have a different purchase price, of course if for the long term it is still very profitable, what mostly happens is that people want to get profits fast and big, so when bitcoin crashes they panic and end up losing

But buying bitcoin at too high a price will not bring great profit, and your holding period will last longer than others. I think the perfect time to buy bitcoin is when we're in bear season, such as now is a great time to buy bitcoin, as long as the price is still below the old ATH, then it is always time to buy it. But when entering the bull season and bitcoin surpasses the old ATH, it is not a good idea to buy bitcoin, wait for bitcoin to correct for a good price.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 26, 2023, 05:23:35 PM
Kiwis still trail by 24 runs, they lost only 3 wickets but I do not think they will be able to get a good lead against the English side. This English side has been amazing, the coach, the captain, and the team have created a unique strategy that most of us and neither the opposition team management is able to understand.
The English batters are not aggressive anymore they are going after the bowlers which is making this test match more interesting. In this game, the batters and the bowlers of England are contributing in alignment. Regardless of the pitch they have proven they have proved their skills. I would love to see England playing against India in India.
Kiwis have missed the opportunity. Being in the home ground they should've performed better in the first innings. As of now New Zealand is in good position, and this isn't going to be a draw. The match is completely into the hands of England. If New Zealand were able to make a comeback, then it is a big history in the test cricket.  In the match between India and Australia similar scenario happened, when everyone predicted the team to end the innings shortly bottom order players took the score leveling the scoring of Australia. Lets see if something similar to that takes place tomorrow.

The situation in New Zealand is still not good in my opinion. England has enforced them to a follow-on. I feel like New Zealand is not doing well still. They have already lost three wickets and they are still on the trail. New Zealand will have to do really well to give a good target for England.

At this moment I find it hard for New Zealand to do so. But on the brighter side, Kane Williamson is still in the middle for New Zealand. So I think they still have hope.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 26, 2023, 02:19:17 PM
In today's match of French Soccer League, Montpellier vs Lens, these two teams entered the field to play, but neither of these two teams could win the match. The players of both teams had an amazing performance due to which neither team could win this match. Lens between the two teams is still on the table.  A lot ahead. Lens scored 1 goal in the first 4 minutes of the game. But after halftime Lens started playing badly, so I think the match was a draw.
Lens failed to win this week, and once again it has been their form of inconsistency this season. They were in second place in the standings and put enormous pressure on Paris Saint Germain, but with their inconsistency they had to accept their position when it was taken over by a team that was much more consistent than them. I myself had previously predicted that they would win again but in fact they could only draw.

It was actually pretty surprising to see Lens not winning this match.  They had quite good control over this match in my opinion. They also were able to score very early in the match. The statistics are also heavily in favor of them. They actually had to win this match to get in the top 3. But as @Fesatmas said, they have been a little too inconsistent. And with this type of performance, they will not be able to get to the 2nd position which I believe they should be Aiming for. They actually have the potential to give PSG good competition. But the main thing is there has to be more consistency.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 26, 2023, 10:27:16 AM
I absolutely agree. Daniel Cormier fought against John Jones. So he knows very well what John Jones is going to do and also what he is capable of doing. So he is the most qualified person to actually talk about the fight of John Jones. If we are talking about someone outside of fighting,  it has to be Joe Rogan. Because even though he has not fought for a long time, he is someone who is very close to the fighting scene and he was also great in his prime. He understands what is going on in the fight better than anyone.

Jones is the greatest in his MMA skills and Cormier can fight well and at the same time can talk graciously in his defeat which I think is one of his major skills making him a respected person.

We find the reactions of Rogan and Cormier funny every time there is a jaw-dropping KO and thier eyes almost come out of their heads. I think this is what Jones is looking for. But definitely, no one is better qualified in talking while the fight is going on than one MMA hall of Famer.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If There Is A Ban on: February 26, 2023, 07:23:01 AM
If it only happened in the US, I guess people from different countries would still be using bitcoins and trying to profit from bitcoins. But it would be different if all countries banned people from using bitcoin and that would cause bitcoin to crash. And as long as my country allows people to use bitcoin, I will continue to use it and find out which exchanges are accessible in my country. And I will not stop looking for and benefiting from bitcoin because it is from crypto that I can make money.

Even though my country does not accept bitcoin, many people still use and invest in it, there are ways for us to do it undetected. It can be said that the government cannot completely ban bitcoin, and banning them will not benefit them. Just like China, despite the lengthy ban on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, there are still many investors in China. I think many governments have realized that it is impossible to stop bitcoin, so instead, governments are trying to regulate it rather than ban it.
1348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 26, 2023, 07:06:39 AM
Trading is complex and unpredictable, if you just learn the theory without practice, you won't be able to get the full experience nor gain experience. So, in my opinion, newbies can still trade and combine knowledge at the same time, both practice and learning knowledge will help them absorb and learn faster.
I like what Kasabus said: when you are mentally, emotionally, and financially ready, you can start trading. Knowledge and experience will be created during your trading.

most beginners even try trading first instead of learning and understanding how trading is done in the market. but what you said is right, those who have studied with a lot of knowledge should also try to gain enough experience. some exchanges provide a demo account. it can be done for those who are not strong enough financially. but it's pretty good for trying to apply learned skills. but to get a more convincing sensation, trading with small capital can be done. trading will not always be profitable, and we will also sometimes lose.

It is best not to use a demo account because it does not give a real feeling, start with a small capital for the best experience. As a newbie, don't think about how much profit you will make but think about how to minimize the loss. I have a friend who is a forex trader, my friend once told me one thing, in the first 2 years, don't think about profit, but never give up every time you lose. What my friend said is correct, in the first years, I never made a profit, but after many years I was able to make a profit from forex. Trading is a long journey, to achieve success, we need to persevere, and not give up every time we fail.
1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 25, 2023, 05:01:34 PM
Jon Jones has always had respect for Daniel Cormier. A lot of times in the past Danielle Cormier has not been respected just because of his physicality. The fat percentage of his body is a little on the high side. And of course, he had a great rivalry with John Jones. But I think we all know that both of them had good respect for each other.

I know it is going to sound crazy and not relatable for a lot of people, and I also do not feel great to compare them with two greats, but I feel like this rivalry is basically like the rivalry between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. Because at the end of the day, they all stayed professional and got people watching their fights and also had respect for each other when it was all over.

What is wrong with Jordan Leavitt? I have him as my main bet. He always is the underdog but always seems to win. He does not take many risks and he is a calculated striker and a better wrestler. I think the odds 1.90 are very good against Victor Martinez who is nothing special in the ufc.

Jon Jones said that he wants Daniel Cornier to commentate on his return which is nice to see because they had a fierce rivalry. I am excited for Jon Jones return and is 1 of the reasons I started watched the ufc again.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 25, 2023, 04:41:42 PM
The fact that this a close makes it more trivial for discussion especially for the fans since the Clippers has a lot of opportunities to end the game given with this double OT.  I didn’t watch the game live but seeing a 175 and 176 score points on the NBA scores today makes me intrigued to watch the reply. Everyone gave their best especially Kawhi and Fox to carry their team but at the end of the game there’s only one team that will gonna win.
If I’m not mistaken. This is the first match of Westbrook on Clippers which makes this game very hot for Clippers fan because Westbrook is a very controversial player due to its questionable performance on LA.

Westbrook was not as good as a lot of people expected him to be. Even, though I thought he is going to perform better and prove that he is Not just a shadow of his former self. He still has a lot left in him and this was indeed his debut match for the Clippers. I thought he was going to do something to make it rememberable. But I think that's not going to happen.

Or the Westbrick curse? Lol,  Grin

Yes, it was a high scoring game because it went overtime and the Clippers has one last chance to win, unfortunately, Batum didn't hit any on his last attempt to make a 3. He had a good view, unfortunately, the shot was too strong.

Westbrook though did score in his first game as a Clippers, Malik Monk huge game with 45 points and I think that could be his highest scoring game. Fox also has 42, and we all know that the Kings are no joke this season. Playoff bound and we will see how they are going to do since they haven't had that chance for many years.

Kings are actually playing well. I also believe that a lot of people expected Clippers to win the last game. The kings have been just a little better. Of course, it was closed, went into OT, and still, Clippers lost. So that's a big win for the Kings.

1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 25, 2023, 03:03:01 PM
Westbrook though, he got a pretty decent stats in the game today even if he's still adjusting to the team. He got 17 points with a 53.8% FG and 1/4 3PA which is 25% beyond the arc. Like as expected, he's just there to open up a spot for the main guys but he's not really restricted to shoot the ball whenever he got an opening.
Overall, he did a great job. The problem with the Clippers is their defense. Imagine, they allowed the Kings to score 176 points in double overtime. I mean, if there was good defense, no way a team would reach even 150 points in two overtimes. I guess they need to carefully look at their defense as that has been their problem so far, in my opinion.
They did score huge though,  but WB fouled out in the game and they let the Kings escape this one at their homecourt. Internet though exploded again as blaming WB for the lost and for them the Clippers is doom and cursed.  Grin
But this is not WB's team, it's Kawhi and Paul George and they are the one going to carry this team.
WB is just one piece of the puzzle that should fit in perfectly in their rotation.
Lol, crazy fans blaming someone for a lose while the fact that Clippers and Kings match up is really a great one, but its just Clippers got short handed on that and Kings got the win I give good credits for Westbrook since he performs very well today. Although he got 7 turnovers but still that performance is still solid I'm excited to watch their next match if this Clippers trio will still work together.

The match was a very close one. I really do not understand why a lot of people are so upset. This was a very close match. I believe both teams played really well and the clippers of course could have done better. In this match, Leonard absolutely popped off for the Clippers. Without him, the match was probably not going to be so close anyway. George was also really good. But in the end, it was not enough. Fox and Monk were heroes in this match for the Kings. I believe this loss is going to be bad for the Clippers.
1352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 24, 2023, 01:09:55 PM
Someone met me and we were had a conversation on trade and he told me that he has used all he has been saving for trading and asked me if he can make something out of it and I asked him if he had any knowledge about it and he said no.

My question is can someone that doesn't have any knowledge about trading and how the system work can he or she trade and be profitable in it? Since at some points it has some compliments bof luck.
After some time of discussion, he has been told that it's just for them to choose on the candles sticks if it's up the they want to choose or the one going up just with this idea can they trade with such an idea.
so I wan to know if it's right for the person to begin trading?
Beginners are free to trade if they really want to but we can’t expect for beginners to win over the market and make significant profits. They only trade mostly with greed, yet they still end up making mistakes and inevitable losses. The reason why beginners are not advise to trade even if they have high passion in trading. However, once they gained enough knowledge in trading, they can start trading but they should also gain more experiences too so they can hone their skills in trading and eventually make successful trades.

Trading is complex and unpredictable, if you just learn the theory without practice, you won't be able to get the full experience nor gain experience. So, in my opinion, newbies can still trade and combine knowledge at the same time, both practice and learning knowledge will help them absorb and learn faster.

1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance's 98% Dominance: Should We Be Worried? on: February 24, 2023, 12:52:57 PM
there's certainly reason why binance could have such massive dominance that is because they are trusted and transparent enough that they'd get that much customers flocking over their platform.
lets be real, even binance was the one that proposed transparency in the funds holding like in CMC where if the exchange have disclosed their reserved funds it will get some additional badge.
i'd say they deserved it and someone shouldnt sweat over it, im sure binance could always anticipate collapses like the ones occured in the past even though you could never be 100% sure.

I agree with you, we should not deny the fact that Binance is dominating and receiving great trust. Not only small investors like us but also receive the trust of many other large organizations and companies. Our assets are a grain of sand compared to big investors, but it's our money anyway, we need to protect it. Although Binance is reliable, don't put all your trust in them because we won't know what will happen tomorrow. Always leave an outlet for yourself if something goes wrong.
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 23, 2023, 01:46:25 PM
aiming for 30k , I believe we will be seeing this in a couple of weeks or at least in before this month ends?

February shows us how good bitcoin can be and also I am watching for this at least since January but the movement now seemingly will be bringing me more profitable month that the last.

and also the votes seems to be a growing for 30k.

Only 1 week left until the end of February, and the expectation of reaching $ 30k before the end of the month is too high, without any big news, bitcoin has no chance of getting there. My prediction is that bitcoin will hit $ 30k before dropping to $ 20k, although bitcoin has increased significantly, but the buying power is still not high, so I think the shark needs to push bitcoin higher to create Fomo before it falls back.

Investors have become smarter, they are still very wary of what is going on, so if bitcoin drops now there will be no panic in the market or profits for the sharks. So I guess one more bullish wave is needed.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - is the bottom in? on: February 23, 2023, 01:31:26 PM
After many years of watching the markets I've learned that it's impossible to tell because from time to time we have so called black swan events. An exchange bankruptcy is one of those events and it drags the price down despite TA and cycles. A positive thing in all of this is the price goes back to the mean soon after such event. I remember when they busted Ross and the news came out the price dropped 10% in a day. It was a good example of such instant trigger. If we were at the bottom of the bear market when the news came out, we'd have a lower low, despite TA saying otherwise.

That said, the bottom should be in. Those guys who still wait for 10k to buy bitcoin are tools IMO. They're spreading FUD hoping that people will react to their bullshit.

I am not saying technical analysis is useless, but actually, for the crypto market, relying on technical analysis will not be as effective as the forex market. Aside from the volatility-generating black swan events, crypto is still a manipulated market, so TA doesn't work. What we are seeing is also what market makers see, so they will find a way to turn things upside down and do what works for them.
And one more thing I see is that bitcoin is always going against the crowd, when people believe bitcoin will not be able to fall any further, bitcoin keeps plunging, creating more panic in the market.
1356  Economy / Economics / Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run on: February 22, 2023, 01:58:33 PM
They've never thought about having another stream of income or one day their parents may not be making money and instead need money and care from them. A lof of hidden problems are there but just ignored. In my opinion, the earlier you become independent financially, the more likely you will be living a comfortable life with your finances. Better to know this and be prepared, if you are young.

It's good to be financially independent as much as possible, but there can always be hard times around the corner. What if we become sick, get fried from our job, or face a lot of maintenance repairs in our apartment? From my point of view family is there to help each other in times of need. This doesn't mean that we should always rely on our parents to provide for us, but if we really need the help they will be there. Only when I got older I realised how hard the life for my parents was and they needed a lot of help from my grand parents. Without their support we could have never went on summer vacation, or get Christmas gifts. So if things are getting bad I am glad I can get at least some help from my parents. Who else would be there for us if we really need it?

Yes, family is to help each other, but think about it, our parents sacrificed their youth to raise us to be human. We are still very young, have a lot of health, and have a lot of time to live in this world, but our parents are not like that, I mean, try while we can, don't be too dependent on our parents. Think about a future without parents and how we will overcome that difficulty. I believe that everything has a solution, it's just that we always think that we still have parents, so we never try our best.
1357  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: February 22, 2023, 01:45:20 PM
...
those who are still hesitant to enter into crypto investment will certainly not have the opportunity to get bigger profits. It's risky, but you need to learn so you can minimize the risks that will occur.

Cryptocurrencies are not the only way to earn big profits or the only way to achieve financial freedom. There are many ways to achieve financial freedom that we have not found or they are not suitable for us. Do not forget that the billionaires they do not need Bitcoin still become billionaires. Any investment can help us achieve financial freedom, they are just a means, and whether we can achieve financial freedom or not completely dependent on us.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 21, 2023, 09:39:28 AM
I believe that Betis will easily beat Elche, a club from the bottom of this table, because I will bet on the victory of Betis in the match later, you don't need to score many goals, just a narrow win is enough for Betis to pocket 3 points playing at home to Elche.

betis's odd is very good consider betis is not placed at the top of standing while elche was in the relegation zone. The easiest match to predict which team that will be winning the game. I think that putting all in on betis is a very good idea at this moment consider about the fact that if betis is still too far above elche. Elche was performing so bad this season.
With the current conditions, it seems that Betis still has the upper hand, especially after their last 2 wins. On the other hand, Elche's current condition is still very concerning because they haven't been able to improve their performance so this could be a good condition for them.
At the moment, with their really good odds, I think this could be something good for them and this will definitely be profitable, it's just that anything can happen, especially now that they are playing away.

Elche's position is last in the points table. And they are a very weak group. They have won only one match this season. And they drew in 6 matches. It is highly unlikely that such a team will pick up a point against Real Betis. Real Betis have won their last two matches against Almeria and Valladolid. Betis' attack is also very effective against a weak defense. Elche's defense is very weak. So I guess we will see 2/3 goals from Real Betis in this match. This match is very important for Real Betis. If they win this match, maybe they can stay in the fight to qualify for the Champions League. Losing this match will make it more difficult for Real Betis to move into the top 4 of the points table.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 21, 2023, 09:28:16 AM
Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Madrid have slumped recently, allowing Napoli to shine. Luciano Spalleti's leadership has raised the players' standards. Victor Osimhen has been on fire this season, scoring goals like crazy!
Napoli can beat the hosts in the first leg because the Champions League is different from the local league. I want a thrilling, goal-filled match. Napoli should beat Frankfurt easily. Can they win Champions League? Who knows? But it will be quite surprise to see.

I agree with you. The performances of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, and Chelsea are a bit weak now. Their performance is the same as before. Their performance is a bit slow. Napoli, on the other hand, has had a good start to the season. And day by day the team is getting stronger. Solved the internal problems of the party. And because the bonding between the players is excellent, their performance is now very stable. And if Napoli can maintain that consistency this season, they have a good chance of winning the Champions League title. However, the team is still not experienced enough in the Champions League. So they will face problems to win the title.
1360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 21, 2023, 09:21:40 AM
Today in the Italian League, in the match between Torino vs Cremonese two teams, the players of both teams fought very hard, but neither team could win. The players of both teams fought a lot. I did not think that Cremonese will perform so well in this match because Cremonese still have points.  They are behind everyone in the table. So everyone thought that maybe Torino will win the match very easily but it was not. Torino scored 2 goals in the whole game and Cremonese scored 2 goals which made the two teams to share the points.
It seems that Cremonese don't want to continue to be in the relegation zone this season, so they put up a fierce fight against hosts Torino. These results are pretty good, at least Cremonese, who returned from away games, still brought 1 point and for Torino, they failed to shift Juventus to 7th in the standings.

The Cremonese team probably played very well against Torino. They fought hard and managed to draw the match 2-2. But Cremonese's performance was excellent. Torino was not an easy opponent. It was difficult to score 2 goals against them. However, Cremonese managed to get 1 point from this match. However, it is unlikely that Cremonese will be able to break out of the relegation zone. Because Cremonese is 10 points behind Spezia in 17th place in the table. And narrowing the gap to 10 points is much more difficult. So I think Cremonese can't get out of the relegation zone.
A win for Torino would have seen them move up to seventh in the table. Torino's performance has not been good in the last two matches. If Torino's defense is not strong, they will lose points in the upcoming matches as well.
