A bad time to run cold. Some quick math.
we are 40ph
90% luck
100% luck
110% luck
Huh?

If there is a LOT of room for negotiations, I'm interested. Your price is easy higher than new prices though.

Good to see a lot of doom and gloom preachers and newb accounts. Usually means people trying to buy low before a pump. LOL
People saying that usually means they are desperate to unload and it's going a lot lower. LOL. This coming from a Newb account. LOL... Such clear insight.. Ohh wait, this happened a few time sin the past in this very thread. Hmmmm.... History repeating itself.. Geee....

We're not debating the pool's overall streaks.
I was talking about the fact that people tend to keep saying not to worry about the short-term slow days, and look at the long term average. Which to most larger miners/farms don't really matter as they are losing a lot more than a few tenths of a BTC per day of bad luck.
At current 44PH we need what, 5blocks per day MINIMUM to get an average mining income.
...and we're at over 100% again.
Like I said, I'm sure we'll rebound as usual, but considering how much some of us ARE losing over the past 4 days sometimes, pointing out a useless number is irking.. LOL

I know it wasn't.
When you have 10x or more on the line though, that is a huge hit, with costs , power involved.
We usually get back on track with the averages, but still hurts like heck when you write off a 2-3BTC loss per day. Each day of no income can take 7days to recoup at normal 'luck'.

Just remember when your making $2K+ USD per day you may have to keep some for when there's bad luck Yeah, but if you make $2K USD profit a day on the highs, then you're losing about $8-10K per day when there are no blocks in a day. I'm nowhere near that thank god, but when there is big money involved people don't realize that the losses are exponential and last thing someone wants to hear is 'the short terms don't matter, look at the 100block average.'.. LOL

I'm really surprised we haven't had people just freaking out and jumping ship on this 24 hour dry spell.
This is just normal Anyone freaking out is just looking at his feet when it should be the horizon ;-) Exactly! Think at least 100 Blocks people! A couple of days means nothing! I'm sure we'll recover, but when people are losing $1K+ USD per day due to bad luck, it hurts and the 100block #'s mean diddly..

If you have to ask such a question with a Hero account, I suggest you send me all your BTC for safe keeping. Lol

As usual the dbags are gloating over the drop . Such good examples of humanity aren't they? On another note, I hope they find the dbag that orchestrated this and torture him. There is so much money lost due to the drop in ETH that I'm sure we can get a few MIL together to put out a hit on this guy.

Those were a few Avalon farms that seem to have mostly disappeared since the Avalon sale. They were actually Avalon themselves.
Kano, since as you said the PH's were coming from Avalon themselves, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the new owners wanted the hash pointed toward another pool, i.e. a Chinese pool. Actually one of the big pools could have helped raise some of the capital for the purchase contingent on where the power was pointed. Just a thought. They couldn't be that DUMB.

Are y'll sure they are not rentals? When they were here NH/WH prices were much higher and there were some large rentals there. Now that they are gone, prices have gone down and no more large rentals...

Heh . Hopefully they fix the issues regarding 'losing' people's bitcoins or holding them ransom before anyone would put their ETH or BTC in there again.

Hello guys, i'm having trouble with a miner i got on my last order (still under bitmain warranty), the miner starts up and i get the blinking green light, but one of the hashboards seems to be having trouble starting up hashing, and the whole miner doesn't hash at all until that board starts up,
miner starts and shows 0 hashing in the miner status, and it gives 100% HW errors....it takes about 5-8 minutes and then the miner starts hashing at full speed, i tested each board separatelly and the problem seems to be related with 1 single board, if i disconnect it miner starts mining right away.
anybody familiar with this problem? is this board defective even if it starts hashing after 5-8 minutes? im still in bitmain warranty
Yous can ask them a replacement board. Just hit them up on their mail. Good luck.. Lol

I wonder if anyone can help, I mine with multiple 280x's, I use latest Nicehash miner.
I get between 17-19MH per card, I've tried 15.7.1 drivers and latest AMD drivers, Cards are at stock on win 7/8 x64
Should I be getting nearer 22-24MH?
Cheers
I don't use the NHM miner as it does not work well IMO, but the genoil ethereal miner should get you 17-20mh on a good quality 280x. The cheapo GPU's with slower ram will get lower.

The pool bestshare of 158B was hit within an hour or two of the last block. Has not changed since. I'm still stuck at 48B. LOL. Was hoping for a bock while visiting SE Asia so I could extend my visit by a few weeks, but noo... Had to come home.

Hi, I have a problem with the ethereum wallet (I tried 0.7.4, 0.7.3 and 0.6.2). When I go to "The DAO" contract and click on the "Pick a Function" dropdown, there are only the two items "Create Token Proxy" and "Vote". Shouldn't there be much more items (such as "New Proposal" or "Split DAO")?
Is this, how it should look like (Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-7-4)? Where is, e.g., the "New Proposal" item? Hmm, still no answer. Seems this thread has an excess of pumpers and a lack of experts.. :-( What does your PC/technical difficulties have to do with people discussing the coin and future outlook of it? Nothing.

You guys know that refreshing the page every 3seconds does NOT help find blocks faster........right?
