22 hours and still counting... Angry  Shitty luck for last 10 blocks... Though last 25 blocks look pretty green with 72% Diff. Let's accept the variance and hope for the better.

UPS man just brought a present.

Allrdy set up and hashing away. running at 13.7 right now.. lets see what it stabilizes at after a couple hours.

Is it as loud/louder/whatever as the B16 S7s?

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I guess it is not as i have a couple of B16 (with 1 fan) and i heard some other batches working with 2 fans, not much difference to my ear.

I have two s-9s pointed here.

They were running just a bit hot so we clocked them to freq 625.

Loud with a whistle fans at 70% 4300 rpm iirc.

Temps are near 60c with downclock. Chips in the 80s

We have two more coming

It seems to be a catch-22 around here. It appears to me - very non-evidence-based - that we get stuck in these doldrums until the hash rate rises and that usually doesn't happen until we start hitting blocks again.
But, we'll squeeze out a block eventually no matter what. Then the hash will probably return.

Anyway, when it does happen, should be 4 payouts to look forward to.

Eat moar chikin!  Grin

Edit: Pay no attention to my rambling. I'm just bored and have no chicken in the house. Cheesy

This is brutal.  Where did our anchor with 12 PH go?

They are still here but only running at 264TH for whatever reason. That high PH is sure missed.

Those were a few Avalon farms that seem to have mostly disappeared since the Avalon sale.
They were actually Avalon themselves.

Yeah also a pity about the timing.

The 5minute pool hash rate peak the other day during the ~12hr failover was actually 80.4PH/s (2016-06-12 13:30 UTC)
The failover miners got 3 blocks during that failover, so it was all was good with that.

But yeah the timing of the end of the failover and most of that Avalon gear going away meant a big drop down to less than 40PH.

Long blocks happen, nothing we can do about them, and a greater than 400% block is expected about once every 55 blocks anyway.
I actually am glad it didn't happen during the failover, since then many would have been wondering if the failover miners were ok or not.

Heh, and the block was JUST under 400% Smiley (~392%)
Also a good reward block with more than 3% txn fees since it was also a 50 minute network block.
4 Payouts confirmed.

... and remember, after halving that 3% txn fees would be 6% txn fees, since we pay txn fees to miners and we don't have a PPS or lower limit on the total payout. Pool is of course 0.9% fees on that total, as everyone knows.

Kano, since as you said the PH's were coming from Avalon themselves, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the new owners wanted the hash pointed toward another pool, i.e. a Chinese pool.
Actually one of the big pools could have helped raise some of the capital for the purchase contingent on where the power was pointed.
Just a thought.

I see HaoBTC has finally started mining for themselves.  Looks like they will have about 5% of the total hashrate.  About time...
