1361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 17, 2023, 10:34:59 AM
I have said many times earlier also that these signal groups are mere trick to scam innocent investors and those who don't have any knowledge of the market but in end they are fools who believe in what they say.It has never been good option for me and trading on your own is best because they will pump the shitcoins and tell you to buy and when you do the results will be loss only and what they offer afterwards? You were late in selling and other bullshit talks so best is to avoid them as much you can.
Indeed they're not reliable. These signals are existing to fool the investors/traders who are looking for info on what coins are good to buy and likely to pump hard. They will shill a certain coin and encourage the members to buy and will dump it after. A classic strategy to take advantage the people who don't have knowledge about it and also lazy to do their own research. So it would be best for us to exert an effort and learn to trade by gaining knowledge and not by relying on these signals.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 17, 2023, 04:48:58 AM
It's not hard for me to handle losses when I gamble. Because right before I start playing, I already set in mind to have less expectation, to already consider i'm going to lose since I didn't gamble in the first place to win (though it would be great if it happened), I mainly gamble to entertain myself. Moreover i'm not using a huge amount for gambling, it's only my spare money that I can live without, the reason why losing is not something that can make me depress. So if I lose, I move on and do an activity to forget everything.

Anyway, we have different ways when we are handling our losses but whatever it is, keep in mind a gambler who have discipline can manage the defeat because he is aware of the risk and the consequences when he gamble his money.
1363  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: January 17, 2023, 02:57:13 AM
Yes, in fact, when I enter a new casino and they ask me for KYC, I simply don't provide it, it seems to me that there is no need, I don't know if the casino will be successful in the near future or if it is simply a scam, even here in the forum they have done tricks to defraud players and that is something that we must be very careful about, a new casino is not the same as an old casino in terms of KYC,
Most of us prefer to keep our anonymity so we can gamble at ease, and don't have to worry incase there's a data breach since we didn't provide our personal details. However, nowadays it's already common requirement of a casino to their players if their platform is regulated. But we need to be careful on what platform we're going to provide our details, it should be reputable and already established so we already know their history and aware how trusted their platform. New casinos doesn't necessarily mean they're likely a scam that we need to avoid, it's just that they need to prove first that they can be trusted.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 16, 2023, 08:36:04 AM
Although the market has shown signs of recovery recently. But I think there's still a long way to go. Not just because of energy consumption in winter. Part of the reason is that some previous events caused many people to leave the market. Now that the price is up, many people may return to the market. No one can predict the future. We can only pay more attention to the market. Feel free to adjust our plans.
Yes this can be a minor recovery and not a start of a bullish season, well no one knows. When the market is showing positive movement, many investors are returning to once again join the ride and leave when the situation is turning bloody. It's understandble if they're behaving that way to prevent losses but we have to be more wise on our investment plan.

Seeing the market recovering is good but i'm not expecting it to move in that direction consistently. Correction can happen anytime hence i'm more prepared to see it. Anyway, halving is approaching so think of what we must do before it take place.
1365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 16, 2023, 04:51:24 AM
~~~
For those of you still trying to build out a Bitcoin stash you can be happy with, including those of you trying to get up to being a whole-coiner, this will likely be the last year you can make significant progress on that as it'll start getting real hard to accumulate tenths of a bitcoin when the price is mid five figures, high five figures, and in the six figures.
Who is accumulating and how much are you hoping to add to your stash this year?
We can invest in bitcoin whenever we want, bitcoin will always make a profit. But I agree with OP one thing, if someone misses 2022, then maybe this is the last year we see bitcoin under $20k. If we miss this opportunity and when another bull season arrives, buying bitcoin will become even more difficult. Remember the lesson when bitcoin was at 3k in 2018, and if someone didn't buy it, there was no chance.
Of course, we can still invest later, but if you want to make a lot of profit, let's accumulate now, procrastination will not help us become rich.
At some point investors need to accept the fact they need to take a risk and invest in bitcoin, maybe they missed the bottom already or maybe the bottom is yet to come, but that does not matter, what matters is to take action now, because each day it passes the closer we get to the next halving, and while it may still seem to be far away we must not forget that time flies by and before we know it the halving will be around the corner and we may find ourselves without enough bitcoin to fully take advantage of it.
Some of us don't like the idea of buying at the bottom because of their worries that it might turn downward further. Then, will regret not buying at a lower price when they see the price moving upward and they missed to take advantage the much lower price. Just like now the price of Bitcoin is increasing, so if an investor bought at $16k price, it's a decent profit already at this time. That's how unpredicted the price is, we'll never know what lies ahead and it's also the reason why we have to take risk if we truly believe the price can go higher and reach its previous ath. As you've said halving may look far still, but the time flies so fast, so while we can still accumulate, do it without hesitation because it's for our own good. But this is if you're not a weak investor and aware of the history of Bitcoin.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It good For The Casinos And The Accusers If .. on: January 16, 2023, 03:53:03 AM
Is It Good For The Casinos And The Accusers If the casino operators decided to post a disclaimer that they will not answer accusations here in Bitcointalk but prefer to address them on other platforms that they think are fair and moderated like Askgambler and other platforms?
What's your take on this I don't want to be specific but the question applies to all casino operators.
It depends. If they have an existing ANN thread here and has a running signature campaign to advertise their casino, then it's not good to not answer any accusations from their players here. Because it can discourage the potential gamblers to use their platform if they see how the operators managed the issues of their gamblers that are having a problem using their casino. There should be transparency because if the accusation is false they can defend themselves to prove that they're legit and the accuser is really at fault.
On the other side, if the casino has no ANN thread here and don't have an interest to advertise their platform in this forum, then for me it's fine to address the concern outside the forum. But still, it depends how the owner deal with these accussations because they know better what's best for their business.
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 16, 2023, 01:38:10 AM
6 Months no one responding to me and not give me my money back! This is criminal what they are doing
Just give up because you'll never get your money back since it's been 6 months already. If they don't want this issue to affect their business then they will resolve this immediately, but that's not the case. Moreover, don't you know the reputation of 1xbit in this forum? If only you did a research about this platform then you'll not end up in such problem.
1368  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: January 15, 2023, 09:24:40 AM
Jackbit has an x3 withdrawal rollover. In instances when you don’t complete it, you can take out funds but will likely get hit with a withdrawal commission. You must complete the minimum x1 rollover to remove any funds from your casino account.
the x1 withdrawl rollover is normal
but x3 its ridiculous
I don't know what this 3x withdrawal rollover mean, so I wouldn't mind some some explanation, but I am thinking, or guessing that this simply means wagering 3x the deposited amount before making a withdrawal.. if this is what this mean..
Yeah. A rollover requirement, or rollover for short, refers to a condition that must be met before a player can withdraw funds from their account. In the case of a 3x rollover, it means that the player must wager an amount equal to three times their deposit before they can withdraw any winnings. For example, if a player deposits $100, they would need to wager $300 before they can withdraw any funds. This requirement is really excessive and can make it very difficult for players to get their money out of an account.
This is why I recommend avoiding casinos that have such a requirement in place, as they're likely to be more concerned about safeguarding their profits than giving you an enjoyable experience.
I check their TOS and can't find any information regarding this x3 withdrawal rollover. Can you clarify this op, is it really true?
Anyway I like the mini games since it's something new to me. Moreover the site design is simple and user friendly for a mobile user (that's what I often use) so it's a plus point. The registration is also fast. But is there any promotions exclusive for users here?
1369  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 15, 2023, 07:25:04 AM
The gamblers wants all bonuses that possible. So if you want to get gamblers choice the best way is to make a list with the variants you can suggest. In any other way you can get a huge quantity of offers. And the most part of them you wouldn`t like.
The result of this thread can be analyze of all suggestions and the new thread with the list of the best of them that you can afford.
I guess with tons of suggestion came from other members OP already decided what kind of strategy they will make to courage a lot of players with their possible gambling promotions, hoping they will consider those suggestions given to them, so they can bring good satisfaction and entertainment really needed to give by the gambling casino.
Players are really smart these days and they notice how much of the loss is the casino giving back to them. Stake popularized the monthly and weekly bonus while they reduced the rakeback. I am quite sure years back rakeback used to be 10% but has now been reduced to 5%. They just used that 5% to give more on other places like weekly and level up bonuses (gameplay)
All these bonuses only make sense when you have a reputed casino with some history. I would rather play on a casino that gives out less bonuses than risking my money on a new casino with too many bonuses. So it's important to reach that level of trustworthiness as well on top of bonuses.
That's true. Promotions and bonuses are not the primary reasons that we should look for to decide whether we're going to play or not on the particular casino. Because even the bonuses are good but the casino is pretty new and not established yet, it's hard to trust easily since we don't know if the site is not scam.
Hence, it's a must that we made sure first that the casino is trusted. As long as the casino is reputable and has a promotion and bonuses to offer for their gamblers, it's a reason for the latter to choose to keep playing because that's the site they used to gamble without encountering any problem.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How wrongful can this go? on: January 15, 2023, 05:37:51 AM
I don't like giving out my private information for any project or platforms online and I have no choice but to provide wrong personal details in order to maintain anonymity, how bad can this get if anything happens to the website system?
Is this a wrongful approach to online casinos that requires KYC? Or any of you have a better solution? There must be someone like me on here that have their ways around this. Share ideas if you can.
If you're not comfortable playing in a specific casino because of their kyc requirement, you better not create an account with them instead of giving a wrong details. Because you'll be in trouble if they ask you to provide a supporting documents (ids, selfie etc.) to confirm your identity. This will likely to happen in a regulated casino if you win a significant amount and requesting to withdraw.
It's understandable to have worries if we provide our informations because of the possible data breach. However, there are casinos where you can play without giving your personal details if you're just an average gambler. That's why we have an option and we're not coerce to play in a specific casino if we don't want to.
1371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 15, 2023, 04:00:58 AM
~Snip
Nothing to worry about as long as the domain and business are legal, but someone might ask questions anyway. This casino has been on the forum from some of years, and I also know about it because I used to be part of a signature campaign participant. Legal, of course they are legal and have been one of the best crypto casinos so far.
In order to maintain their good reputation their should secure their platform and use the best security available. Its also good to disclose their financial capacity if ever something happened, though I’m confident that Roobet are more prepared for this and they are actually capable of protecting their platform with the best since they can pay huge jackpots and that means they are really a good site. Just don’t store your money on any crypto gambling site just to be more safe.
Roobet is indeed a reputable casino and they gained the trust of many gamblers here. Since their launch in this forum, they established their casino by proving their platform is trustworthy. In my experience playing on Roobet, I never had any issues, I just enable the 2fa when I withdraw. Anyway, I agree that it is not really advisable to store our money in our casino account (or any centralized platforms) no matter how secure the platform is, just to be safe.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 15, 2023, 02:22:55 AM
The best time for me to gamble is if I am free at work and has a money to spend, usually when i'm at home before going to sleep at night. Sometimes if there's a promotion that I like even i'm at work, I gamble during break time but it's rare to happen since gambling is just my way to kill time.
On the other side, the usual reason why i'm refraining myself to not play are I don't have an allocated funds for it. When I already lose my budget for leisure (I set aside money every payday for leisure) there's no way for me play because I don't want to go beyond the limit. It's better this way to avoid problems because of my gambling activity.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 15, 2023, 12:52:11 AM
Sometimes wagering requirements can be issue for small gamblers who can't afford to bet high but these types of promotion where you have to wager 1x can be completed by many and have a chance to earn some rewards over it which is great.Duelbits have lot of promotion running and active bonus to players to keep them motivated and chance for them to earn rewards which is why it's liked by many gamblers.
Wagering requirement 1x of your deposit isn't a hard task to be honest because you can gamble in any games that you want. You can gamble on slots, sports, or live casino. I'd say you can just bet on a sport where the odds is @1.10 or smaller since it's clear a huge favorite, so your bet high likely will win.
Some people use the casino just like a mixer, deposit his funds and then withdraw it to other wallet, of course any licensed casino wouldn't allow it.
A wagering requirement of 1x is indeed not hard but don't forgot that for the deposit promotion that Duelbits held, you needed to wager it on high volatility slots like Release the Kraken or Money Train 3.
So chances are you can't fulfill the 1x wagering requirement because of the high volatility of these slot games? But nothing is impossible, thus you'll never know unless you tried.
Anyway, I also missed this promotion, just logged in today and there's no similar promotion running. I became busy the past few days and now i'm back on playing.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 13, 2023, 10:56:13 AM
True it depends on your coin because Bitcoin and top coins like Ethereum or BNB are very suitable for long term investment,
so when we try to hold it in the long term of course it's not greed,
other than that storing shitcoin for a long time will only be a waste of time.
Not just your time will be wasted but also your money. Why invest in shitcoins if you can buy coins with potential to grow even it takes a long period to profit? The problem is many investors are still investing in shitcoins because they want to earn in a short period, so despite of the risk, they still blindy investing because of their greed. So the choice is up to us, it's our hard-earned money anyway that we'll going to invest.
1375  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: January 13, 2023, 04:08:59 AM
For what's happening the market today it make people feel excited back to follow how the market move these days and 19k level is almost reached so most provably anytime today we can see this price to hit up especially many people got hype on the situation and many believe that this will continue until we see a bull run again.
This time is great to drop your prediction since maybe the $20k price level will be hit in future.
I think everybody is happy that the price is going up indeed and hopefully this trend can continue. I think it will be able to cross the 19k level but the 20k level will be a big resistance and we might see a drop than again, as some people will take profit.
But I guess seeing some traders to take some profit when reaching that level is normal but if they continue to see some constant bullish condition then maybe we can see majority of traders buy for thinking that they are more to come especially the 20k price you guys mentioned come. Although resistance is strong but it could happen and maybe we can see some participants will drop their prediction at this figures.
The price of Bitcoin is indeed unpredictable because after moving sideways for months ($16k value), now the price turn upward fast and currently moving to break the 18k level. This is good news for traders doing short term, they might sell or buy more, we can see the outcome in the next few days. If the price plunged again then probably investors/traders take advantage the sudden increase. I might drop my prediction later of the deadline to see if there's a changes.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 13, 2023, 03:07:34 AM
I'm still holding my Bitcoin because I believe holding for long period is the best strategy if your goal is to to be a huge gainer.
However, there are times i'm really in need and have no choice but to sell some especially last year. I had to sell my Bitcoin to buy additional items for our shop and for house renovation. So this year, I'd like to increase my holdings through buying and keeping my profit from the sig as much as possible. Anyway, it's good to see the price slowly recovering because it's been a while since we last saw the price had a positive movement.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 13, 2023, 01:19:39 AM
 At this moment we can hope for the rise to continue and maybe hit a point where investors can boost of a good profit added to their btc coins.
Well, it's not bad to look forward for a consistent price increase but better to not have high hopes since we're not certain if this is the start or just a temporary recovery.
 I was directed here and have learnt alot and i will no longer call it a hasty decision if i were to get my own btc in my own wallets but i haven't gathered enough finance to do that and am looking to sell some of my old stuffs which am no longer using to start my own bitcoin journey. I have some stuffs like an old TV set, some old cooking gas and sone rusty old furnitures in my house which i think can fetch me some reasonable amount of money to start this journey and the good part of it is that I don't use these stuffs so its better to sale it and use the money for my bitcoin investment.
If you started selling your old stuffs when the price is ranging to $16k (the price is stuck to that price for months) then you probably see the result now of buying at lower price. Anyway, it's not surprising why many investors chose to engage themselves when they see a significant growth because they're thinking bad days already passed. But anything can happen and we don't know what lies ahead so be prepared.
1378  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 12, 2023, 10:25:32 PM
Karamihan din kasi sa ating mga kababayan mas prefer mag invest sa project na kikita sila ng malaki, gaya sa mga shitcoins at hype na coins na hindi pa umaangat ang value (high risk kumbaga). Kaya may tendency talaga na ma rugpull dahil wala naman itong use case para magtagal. Regardless kung ano ang nationality ng dev, dapat maingat tayo sa pagpili ng project kung san tayo mag iinvest lalo na sa mga baguhan. Kung ayaw mo ng stress dun ka na sa established coins kahit matagal kumita atleast less risk kumpara sa mga new projects na naglalabasan.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing on: January 12, 2023, 08:34:03 AM
Be careful out there famz, these scammers are not playing
Scammers are doing their best to fool the people. That's why if you didn't dig deeper before investing you might really end up as one of their many victim. Usually those are the people who are lazy to conduct their own diligent research and just joining the hype without any idea of the risk for doing so. That's why it's necessary for all of us to be extra careful and always exert an effort to know if you're investing in the right project. This is, if you don't want to learn the hard way.
1380  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 12, 2023, 07:53:29 AM
It's true that since the time the pandemic hit us it seems the unfortunate happenings never stop. As you have mentioned many worse things happened that affect everyone of us regardless of our status in life.
For me, after covid pandemic, the rest next to it is already manageable because covid is the worst. Imagine we can't work, we're restricted to go outside because of the fear to get infected but still many people lost their lives. Good for you if you have food to eat at home but we know people from low class experienced hunger resulting for them to become sick yet unable to go to the hospital because of the covid cases patients, not to mention the expenses. But despite of all that happened and the current situation we are in, still we're able to survive and still doing fine, it's something to be thankful for.
