I was looking for HBN spec. such as total coins, reward reduction info etc.... but can not find in wiki or official website.
Any tips?
There is some information on github. https://github.com/Crypto-Expert/HoboNickels120,000,000 5 coins, with no reduction. These could be changed in the future if there is a desire from the community. I'll see if we can get this added to a wiki as well.

HBN now active on Atomic Trade
Great news! If you ever have any issue, please PM me. I'll do what I can to help out. Thanks!

Do you recommend multiple wallets, or will one wallet work fine as long as I use ACC.
1 wallet should be fine. I still like the multi-wallets and I use them, but mostly just for testing and bringing aged coins from 1 computer to another quickly.

So once the coins stake, can they stake again? I'm having a little problem understanding the purpose you intend for this coin. Is it a long term savings?
When a coin stakes it is split and the coin days are returned to zero. So for example if you have 100 coin block, after it stakes you will have 2 53 coin blocks, then those will stake again and you will have 4 27 coin blocks. The purpose of PoS is a very energy efficient way to move the block chain. It can be used as an easy method for savings. I would like to use this coin as an easy way to give to charities. I am in the process of working out a new RPC method which will allow the stake to be used in this new way.

Actually I have mined some before. Just have question about stake after reading instruction in HBN wiki.
It's like stake only take place in a transaction-less wallet. Is it means the stake-counter will reset when I receive coins from pool? As I always want keep max coins under aging, will the best solution be receiving mined HBN from pool at once after getting latest stake?
That is slightly misleading. The wallet where the coins reside will not get reset when receiving new coins. That new block of coins won't start the stake process until 10 days, but the other coins that were already there, will continue to age. More properly, if you send coins, then some of those wallets coin-days are destroyed, and the stake period will reset. But not all of them, only what is needed to send those out. You can really what is going on by looking at the advanced coin control gui interface. You can also use ACC to send your new coins(lower confirmations) out while keeping your older coins in your wallet untouched. Thereby keeping coin days and increasing stake chances. Hope this helps.

I will keep watching this coin while mining other hot coins which make profit You and everyone else But this coin is great to stake. Mine for it for a few days, get a nice purse of coins, let them stake. Then go back to meme coins..

Alright I have added an optional new bool to gettransactions. It will only report the wallet tx when set to true. False is default. A few examples of difference below. Default: 16:11:36 16:11:36 gettransaction 15dc50d47ee23548ab7d978fd6e50ddc3c1927062232707c549b1335580e1ef1-000

With bool set to true. 16:12:20 gettransaction 15dc50d47ee23548ab7d978fd6e50ddc3c1927062232707c549b1335580e1ef1-000 true

First off there is a new subcategory if the category is generate. The subcategory is either work or stake. As seen below. (thanks to jtan189 for this addition) 16:14:15 gettransaction 71a8ed003c7d52ce090179f33d05991c34e918c64edbf5f6352f76f75c412576-000 true
16:14:15  { "amount" : 5.00000000, "confirmations" : 209, "generated" : true, "blockhash" : "000003e26c84009c8f7b8227bbbb00030c74d4c6b5e4da7e8c66373fac45535a", "blockindex" : 0, "blocktime" : 1390071716, "txid" : "71a8ed003c7d52ce090179f33d05991c34e918c64edbf5f6352f76f75c412576", "time" : 1390071716, "timereceived" : 1390071716, "details" : [ { "account" : "", "category" : "generate", "subcategory" : "work", "amount" : 5.00000000 } ] }
Finally, if the wallet you are getting information about is not the default wallet, you need to use gettransaction in conjunction with usewallet example below With usewallet 16:16:06 usewallet stake gettransaction cc1116769e17a4150dea3931fc7f342da3c8142882665676c1d433f1ee1fd6cf-000 true
16:16:06 { "amount" : 1.00000000, "confirmations" : 42, "blockhash" : "00004189f460ffd5f753e8865ad5e9e5b184227921f1abb115886a106954d767", "blockindex" : 1, "blocktime" : 1390078226, "txid" : "cc1116769e17a4150dea3931fc7f342da3c8142882665676c1d433f1ee1fd6cf", "time" : 1390078190, "timereceived" : 1390078190, "details" : [ { "account" : "", "address" : "miau5BFtpU2qNRMMK9UfupjS4LBxGc7d5p", "category" : "receive", "amount" : 1.00000000 } ] }Same transaction, without usewallet 16:16:48 gettransaction cc1116769e17a4150dea3931fc7f342da3c8142882665676c1d433f1ee1fd6cf-000 true
16:16:48 { "txid" : "cc1116769e17a4150dea3931fc7f342da3c8142882665676c1d433f1ee1fd6cf", "blockhash" : "00004189f460ffd5f753e8865ad5e9e5b184227921f1abb115886a106954d767", "confirmations" : 42, "txntime" : 1390078178, "time" : 1390078226 }I hope this helps. Do you need a compiled version? The code is here for now https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels and will be in the offical repo at some later date.

why is gettransaction not returning the same json that bitcoin does?
This is a fork of NVC, the gettransaction function was changed and was inherited into HBN. I can add in a separate function or switch to gettransaction which would make it into a more standard format, if that would be helpful. Such as gettransactionold or gettransaction <txid> [old_bool] Let me know. Thanks.

Checkpoint server upgraded to 1.3.
As of March 15, you are at slight risk of being forked off.
