13861  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: changenow.io - Review? on: November 21, 2017, 09:37:14 PM
@ChangeNOW_io seems to be active on twitter answering people to send an email to support and will be assist further. Since you've mentioned that it was endorsed by @bitcoingold, maybe the team checked how trusted the service is.
This doesn't make the service more trustworthy. The Bitcoin Gold team also "endorsed" a website that helped people claim their BTG but also kept all the users seeds and resulted in a loss of over $1 million. Of course they removed the site from their page after some time. But this shows how careless they are.

Here is a thread about the scam: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7dsmvd/my_analysis_of_the_1_million_usd_mybtgwalletcom/
13862  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: minimize to systemtray on: November 21, 2017, 07:26:49 PM
When Electrum is running, you will find its icon in the system tray. Just double click it to toggle between hide/show.

AFAIK that's the only way to do that.
13863  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How can I generate a new address? on: November 21, 2017, 07:19:25 PM
I see it. But how do I choose any of them? I see the list, but there is no button to select them. I can get the cursus on them an click on them, but then still in the receiving tab the old address is listed. How can I select any of the addresses in the list?
Right click any address and select "Copy Address" or just select the one you want and press Ctrl + C.

So just to be sure: I can copy and paste any of the addresses in the list under the tab "used" ?
And then if I give that address to the person sending me the coins, it will arrive with me?
Yes and Yes. You can use them as many times as you want.

So for this it does not have to appear first int he  "receive" tab? Because I just cannot find out how to drag an address from the list to the receive tab
It doesn't have to. The receive tab will only show you a new address after every transaction to help you not reuse your addresses. But all addresses can be reused as many times as you want and there is no problems on doing that. You can either use the address found in the "receive" tab or any other from the list whenever you want.
13864  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmixer clone Bitmixor , scam? on: November 21, 2017, 05:26:16 PM
Can you recommend a trusted please?
ChipMixer (check my signature). I already made a post talking about ChipMixer, so I'm just going to quote it here:

ChipMixer is innovative and efficient. As their slogan says: "Mixing reinvented for your privacy"

Take a look:

What makes ChipMixer special?

ChipMixer creates Bitcoin addresses (chips) and funds them with specific sizes. There are chips with 0.001 BTC, 0.002 BTC, 0.004 BTC and so on till 4.096 BTC. When you deposit your Bitcoins, you receive same amount in chips. For example you deposit 0.112 BTC and you receive 0.064 + 0.032 + 0.016. Each chip was funded before your deposit, so there is no link between them and your deposit on blockchain. They are already anonymous. With each chip, you receive its private key, so you can spend them any time you want.

13865  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How can I generate a new address? on: November 21, 2017, 02:50:39 PM
Go to View -> View Addresses. You should see a Address tab show in your Electrum wallet. Go there to see every address that you own and just choose any of them.
13866  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Extract seed for wallet with 2FA on: November 21, 2017, 02:41:59 PM
With 2FA, the seed is only displayed when you first create your wallet. If you lost your seed or never backed up when creating the wallet, there is nothing you can do to retrieve your coin in the future.
13867  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmixer clone Bitmixor , scam? on: November 21, 2017, 02:00:50 PM
i think i was scammed beacuse i used bitmixor thinking that was btimixer.io beacuse i didn't see the "O"... can someone help me? i send 200 pound of bitcoin... can someone tell me what i have to do?
I'm sorry, but there is nothing you can do. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and if you sent your coins to the scammer's address, your coins are gone.

Btw: Bitmixer stopped his services ~4 months ago. You should start using a different (and trusted) mixer.
13868  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: are exchanges supporting bc1 addresses? on: November 21, 2017, 01:53:48 PM
Most of the major exchanges/wallets won't support this format for now. I recommend you to keep using a standard address or find a way to generate a normal P2SH address while they upgrade their code.

Sorry OP. I'm pretty sure that the chances of you finding your wallet just by knowing your address are almost null. Have you checked your browser history?

Beggars every where.!
Spammers every where... at least read the thread before commenting. ROFL

Edit:
Looks like more than one people are misunderstanding what is this post. (OP isn't asking for money)
13870  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How can i get bitcoin gold on electrum [step by step] on: November 21, 2017, 11:43:29 AM
Are there any options available currently to retrieve your BTG with a pre-fork electrum seed, one that is not just for Android (Coinomi).

As for now, it seems Coinomi offers the only safe and convenient option.

Anyone knows a good electrum alternative for non-Android users?
Basically every other wallet found in the BTG website[1].

Just be careful with the fake Electrum "forks" that there is around and web wallets.

>He is a scammer

How am I a scammer?
I wouldn't say for sure that you are a scammer. But using the name of a pool and saying that you have an agreement with them to accelerate transactions while that's not true is something very shady and certainly not trustworthy. If you lied about one, why would you not lie about the others?

Btw, not sure why would you make 3 posts in a row at the same thread and all in less than 1 minute.

In case you missed:
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.
13872  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ConfirmTX.com's Free bitcoin transaction acceleration & New Block Notifications on: November 20, 2017, 05:49:18 PM
The other one is?
He is talking about the one from ViaBTC[1].
And there is also this one from AntPool[2] which is also free and requires you to register an account.

Honestly, there is no need to pay $4 on a shady paid accelerator. I always send my transactions with a 1~20 sat/byte fee, use these free accelerators and get a confirmation in the same day.

13873  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info stuck transaction on: November 20, 2017, 05:43:28 PM
That's weird. I tend to use 1~20 sat/byte transactions and they all get confirmed in less than 1 day. Have you tried to accelerate your transaction?

can someone recommend me free acceleration tools for my transaction? i dont want to pay 5 dollars to send btc and dont want to pay for accelerations when i can just increase the fee.
Check the post above yours. AFAIK these are all the free accelerators that exist at the moment and are working.

-Snip-
Antpool [An account is needed - Free registration]
Viabtc [Your transaction should have a minimum of  0.0001BTC/KB (10 sat/byte) included fee]
Confirmtx [Only transactions under 500 400bytes are free]
Just a few changes:

- ConfirmTX changed and now it's only free for transactions under 400 bytes.
- 0.0001BTC/KB it's equivalent to 10 sat/byte (just to make things clearer).

13874  Other / Meta / Re: BANNED FOR LOW QUALITY POST,BUT I CAN'T START NEW,WHY? on: November 20, 2017, 05:25:26 PM
You can only create a new account to appeal you ban (by posting in the Meta section). If your appeal was denied, your account will remain banned and you can't use a new one. Which part you didn't urdestand?
13875  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [Warning] About Bitcoin.com wallet on: November 20, 2017, 05:11:27 PM
I just downloaded the app to check it ou and it clearly says "Bitcoin Cash Wallet" and "Bitcoin Wallet" when you first create your wallet. I support core and don't have any BCH, but I think that calling this a "scam" is just dumb.

Also, I saw some people saying that both wallets use the same address. So you can receive both BTC and BCH (E.g: there is no risk on losing your money if you send BCH thinking is BTC).
13876  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 0.07 BTC disappeared from electrum wallet. help me please on: November 20, 2017, 05:01:57 PM
That's probably your change address. Copy the second address, go to Electrum's console and type: ismine('YOUR ADDRESS')

If this returns true, you have control over the address and these coins are still in your wallet.

13878  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: WALLET SERVICES REFUND FOR STOLEN BTCs on: November 19, 2017, 11:13:41 PM
They will probably say that there is nothing they can do. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and I don't imagine this being Coinbase/GDAX fault, otherwise, you would not have been the only one affected.

P.s: You shouldn't be storing that much money in an exchange.
13879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange for loaning out BTC on: November 19, 2017, 09:01:57 PM
How about Poloniex? I used to use this free open source lending bot[1] and it always worked flawless. No verification needed.

[1] https://github.com/BitBotFactory/poloniexlendingbot

I use bitfinex. Loans are given for two days and rate changes throughout the day.
Great suggestion! Or rather, it would have been if OP had not made it clear that he can't use Bitfinex anymore and that he is looking for other options...
13880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling your mined btc on: November 19, 2017, 07:08:52 PM
You should never sell your mined bitcoin , in near future they will worth more than $500.000 . Bitcoin is the first virtual currency and is better than gold or even the most expensive metal
You know that people still need to pay their energy bill and hardware, right?

@OP: It really depends where are you located. If Coinbase is supported in your country, I would use it. You can also check this website for other services listed by country[1].
