141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You will lose more if you DCA without knowledge on: April 11, 2024, 10:26:45 AM
Do not invest money you will need soon, have a lot of patience, with Bitcoin, you only lose if you sell your Bitcoin for a lesser price.
It is too much.

If a trader or investor buys low, sells high, it brings profit, not loss. You probably wanted to emphasize that a longer time of holding bitcoin, a better chance to get more profit, that is true. To say it is loss, like you said, it's too much and surely not correct.

HODL bitcoins, you can do it! Look at HODL camp map to build up strong hands

See the HOLD chart and make your investment plan for entries and exits (withdrawal strategy).

143  Other / Meta / Re: AI generated content by newbies on: April 10, 2024, 01:19:47 PM
Such people no longer think like people, but behave like bots controlled by artificial intelligence. Therefore, anyone who ignores this problem is actually just a participant in that circus, and anyone who talks to AI bots will sooner or later become an AI bot themselves.
First, they don't have enough knowledge to answer an question, issue by themselves.
Second, they rely on given answers from AI and automatically consider it is a correct and best one.
Third, they can be very lazy to research and find answers for any question, issue.

The root and biggest cause is laziness.

Like I said to you, I did not check posts that whether they are plagiarized or AI-generated but if I feel it is not organic, human-generated, I mostly skip those topics because I simply feel commenting in such ones is stupid.

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using testnet as a security option. on: April 10, 2024, 12:52:26 PM
This will depends on the attackers or investigators' stupidity, if they ever own Bitcoin, they should able to know if the real Bitcoin is "BTC" instead of "tBTC".
Attackers actually spend their time, do research before set up their attacks so I don't believe they don't have knowledge about Bitcoin on main net and test net. They surely know difference between BTC and tBTC.

147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why not a new one? on: April 09, 2024, 01:47:17 PM
Why not a person with the same motivation and the intention to create a new enhanced Bitcoin ( ofc their alternative name ) just with the features and stuff, launch this new coin protocol, and also keep its supply limited just like the Bitcoin? let's say I as a person created the "X" coin
We have hundreds of shit coins like this with Bitcoin in their names.

How many Bitcoin forks are there? Most of Bitcoin forks are dead coins.
How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!!

What? Do you want to be tagged?

You can add your Bitcoin address to your profile. It's not good to beg for donation in any post. Lastly, this idea is not new and it is terrible.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 09, 2024, 01:32:41 PM
I would like to introduce another point here that has not been touched upon in either the OP or the comments above. The supply of bitcoin cannot be changed depending on demand. If there is more demand for gold or another commodity, the price goes up and since it is more profitable, producers start producing more, which causes, over time, the price to go down. Conversely, if the price goes down, producers stop producing so much, or some stop or go bankrupt, and as production is reduced, the price eventually goes up again.
With same available technologies and devices, producers can boost or reduce production rate like gold, oil.

One more point, with developments of technology, there will be better capacity to dig deeper into the Earth to produce more gold and oil, even can get gold from asteroid, other planets and so on. It will be a story in future but we can not exclude it with gold.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 09, 2024, 01:04:45 PM
As you can see, unlike other Assets, Bitcoin is a decentralised asset and can't be created more
Oh seriously and really?

Bitcoin has been creating more, with its each new block. What will happen with each Bitcoin block found by miners since 2009 so far and even the halving next 10 days?

Many more new bitcoins will be created from future Bitcoin blocks. I know what you implied but you expressed it inaccurately. You can say, there will be not more than 21M bitcoins ever because the Protocol coded by Satoshi Nakamoto.

21M is a rounded number, there will be 20999999.9769 BTC in total supply.

150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history, ATHs and bottoms. on: April 09, 2024, 12:56:33 PM
We can see that the dips percentage are decreasing overall. This means that more investors are joining in for Bitcoins and investing years by years. Hence this time also if we see a dip, then it will be less than 77% as mentioned in the OP. So people won’t have bigger chances to buy the coins for cheap. If you are someone who waiting for right moment to buy the coin, then let me tell you that, you will keep on waiting like this. No perfect moment will ever come.
We see a trend of shrinking in both parabolic growth of Bitcoin bull runs and bottoms from ATHs. What you say is true with price data from past market cycles and I believe it will continue.

With bigger marketcap, Bitcoin will have less growth with each new market cycle but bigger marketcap will help Bitcoin has smaller correction from ATH to its bottom in one market cycle.

It is always hard to focus on one market cycle but if we zoom out, we will see it more easily. Since the last halving in May 2020, Bitcoin is already up 728%.

It is the announcement for 8OM token presale and I see that your team launch the token on Solana blockchain which is very hot recent months.

I did not see any information about Tokenomics of 8OM token in that thread or at a given link on Pinksale.

Do you think it will be better if your team can present tokenomics of 8OM token?

It is one of most important factors for investors and their considerations on purchase of a token. I see information on Presale, Liquidity and Unlocked % but it's very basic.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain.com BTC wallet available funds issue on: April 08, 2024, 10:09:55 AM
but today once I try to send some funds out from my BTC wallet (its still showing balance fine, and $0 in hold funds
It's really hard, at least for me, to understand this sentence and your issue.

Quote
the available balance showing was only like $30 worth of BTC, again i try to open the wallet via web (instead of andriod), but same thing, funds are showing fine as balance in the BTC wallet, but once i try to send them out in available balance they show almost none.
Assume your balance in that Blockchain.com wallet is $30, and you want to send it, your issue is you can not send it with Blockchain.com wallet, assume I understand your issue correctly.

Quote
Any help? I have already contacted blockchain.com via their support ticket system.
You can import your Blockchain's wallet seed to Electrum wallet and broadcast transaction by yourself. No need to ask support from Blockchain.com.

When you already get your wallet, read another topic to broadcast your transaction.

154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 07, 2024, 06:28:40 AM
If you are so confident that Liverpool will win, then you should place a bet - an easy +61% is a very good return on one event. But don’t forget that this season Liverpool have already lost points twice (more precisely once, and the second time they were knocked out of the Cup) in games with United.
I also really want to place a bet and I will be sorry to miss the opportunity (like yesterday when the City victory odds were 1.54 after the first half) but I will wait for a more reliable situation.
I got your point.

You can be confident but you can not be sure about result.

Even with yourself, you can not be sure what you will get from what you do. There is possibility for uncontrollable things and with a football match, there are many factors for uncontrollable things. It's not only about you, a single person, but about dozens of people: 22 players from two squads, 2 head coaches, some substitutions, 1 referee and other assistant referees. You surely can not control all of those factors so nothing to be sure with result of a match and your bet.

Hello, I get some crypto-related newsletters, and sometimes they are good ones to reply to, but does it count as plagiarism if I copy-paste those messages here since I can't state the source via URL?
You can can quote, with or without an author name, and / or a specific source link.

It is better if you can have a source link in your quote but without a source link, it is acceptable because putting it in a quote block means you announce that you are not an original author.
156  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 07, 2024, 06:18:13 AM
Now that they have added competitions on the Base L2 network, I am trying my luck by at least claiming the free entry. My only complaint is that the recommended gas fee is set too high and if you don’t modify it to a lower value you will end up spending a few dollars instead of a few cents to enter all the competitions.
It's good aproach from MetaWin team because Base ecosystem is rising very exponentially recent months even the Base itself does not launch their token. People believe in this one because it comes from Coinbase that is one of oldest, biggest and somewhat most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges.

Most of Bitcoin Spot ETFs (about 90%) in the USA. used Coinbase as their custodians.

Liverpool going to win and have all three points with for the betting purpose I have feeling over2.5 and having btts are the best option in this match because we can expect a fierce Liverpool which is now going to take revenge and also want to have top spot in Premier League table will give Manchester United toughest time and things could be surely interesting for the fans while they will be able to have the best soccer to watch in this match.
Liverpool are stronger and have everything to beat Manchester United but Manchester United are still a big club with many star players. They didn't play well in this season and in recent matches but they have enough ability to exploit any mistake from Liverpool and beat Liverpool.

If Liverpool play carefully and don't self-create mistakes to pass some opportunities to Manchester United, at least they will not lose this match and with their powerful attacking system, they can break weak defensive system of Manchester United to get three points and get a first position back.

It is about the match result prediction and my thinking but with bet and given odds, things will be more complicated for gamblers. Liverpool might win and get 3 points but it does not mean if you bet on Liverpool, you will win.
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why storing trust wallet in a hardware more recommendable than i mobile devices on: April 06, 2024, 03:47:28 PM
I've been hearing about how trust wallet is a good recommendable Wallet for beginners
Who told you so, actually is a newbie, a beginner too.

Trust wallet is closed source, not open source, even it is self-custodial. You can read reviews about Trust wallet there.

but the wallet must be stored on a hardware storage such as the laptop and the desktop but shitty and risky of stores on the mobile devices such as phone.
What's really the difference in the storage system since it's the same wallet platform?
Your English is broken and words used not carefully, that makes your sentence is terrible in idea.

Hardware storage?

Laptop, desktop computer or mobile devices, are the different in your definition "Hardware storage"?
Your definition is wrong.

Phone is less secured than desktop computer or laptop so if you have PC or laptop, use it than your phone, to store your bitcoin.

Your device OS can help, like Windows is a paradise for fake apps, hackers but Linux is better, you will have less risk there. The bottom line is they are all can not save you if you use your device and Internet not carefully.

The type of trader that could be able to handle out this kind of movement or someone who could put up some analysis into this kind of price movement is into those scalpers
but generally speaking about 15 seconds or 30 seconds time frame is really something that no analysis that could really be applied.
With very short time frames, it is like gamble with probability of luckiness.

The site is fancy looking and really love those color combinations but sometimes it does hurt my eye too much.
Not everyone will feel the same like you but have two modes, Light and Dark modes, will be better. It helps the platform to serve users better with customization on website visual mode.

About languages, there is Vietnamese but when I click on it, the language is still English. Is it only your team plan to add that language later?

I don't check other languages.

I really don't understand how it's even possible to think that what happened to FTX could happen to Binance: FTX was created as a scam since the beginning, there was a backdoor, everything was planned
Correct.

Quote
Binance makes a ton of money every single day thanks to commissions, why should they think to scam their customers? Of course Binance could fail for several reasons but thinking that the richest guy in the crypto world would scam when he already has more money that he could ever spend... What's the point?
Things can change from good to bad, we never knows. CZ stepped down, Richard now is a CEO but who will be next CEOs after Richard?

A lot of things can change in future, we never know what will happen with Binance.

CZ's assets are something that even the US government cannot understand, it is strange that some small investors like us can know that what he holds is only BNB and some altcoins. CZ is the creator of Binance, who once sold his house to buy bitcoin...would he be stupid enough to put all his assets into this market, let alone BNB or altcoins?
We can not know and above I only shared an article from Forbes, months ago. I believe CZ did not sell his bitcoins and not store all his asset in BNB tokens.

If I remember correctly, since CZ was charged by the US government, and he had to leave Binance.

Do you think CZ still holds the majority of shares in Binance and will the government leave it alone if CZ remains the largest in Binance?
Why not?

CZ was also forced to step down or he proactively did it to avoid bigger troubles for Binance but there is a period for it, 3 years as I remembered. After 3 years, he can return to Binance if there are no other hidden things we have yet known in a plead deal between CZ and DOJI.
Quote
"Defendant Binance has accepted the resignation of Zhao, its CEO, and prohibited him from any present or future involvement in operating or managing Defendant’s business. This prohibition begins as of plea acceptance and ends three years from the date a monitor is appointed," the filing read.
