Bitcoin is just a currency.. there is no other use of btc. However it is still the first blockchain. Many alts have plenty of usage. Invest in something that has plenty of usage.
It can't be only a Currency because the coin was not accepted within the IMF. Bitcoin also has Blockchain that is helping shape faster payments. |

There were some thoughts about the continuous dipping of ethereum, and the most understandable for me is the end of ICO hype.
There not a lot of ICOs today, and whats more - all of 2017' ICOs need to cash out to pay side jobs, maybe development, maybe marketing and etc. so the price can continue dip.
That was just a gift for these ICOs to receive eth that was 1200 instead of 200-300. And maybe when the price will go closer to 200 they can sell it immediately and we can see the bottom of the price
Waiting for a long time is not going to guarantee it's going to increase. We have to promote the coin for it to get a higher price. |

I think that ten coins for 500 bucks is a bit much. Choose the 5 most promising and invest in them. I think that 5 is the most optimal number.

my experience is with choosing based on the concept of the bounty if for a good and useful thing for the future, of course, the bounty will be successful. let alone if it is supported by an experienced team will give attractiveness and the belief that the bounty will be promising.

I invested in COSS as it gives 50% of the trading fee back to token holders. Currently, I only get a few bucks per week with a bit less than 6000 coins. It could very well pay off in the future, or not.
I'm curious if there are more altcoins like COSS with a chance to grant some passive income in the future?
There's not much out there that can give you a high reward for holding. Bitcoin is the only passive coin that I know of from an investor's standpoint. |

If you had to choose only one for a relatively large investment I would go for either Databroker DAO or to StopTheFakes. These two are clearly legit and have real business ideas behind.
Seems like most guys that are posting their answers in here is just going to try to hype up whatever coin they are in. At least make it a decent coin to invest in. |

I think it will take a long time to recover, longer than most people think.
Although I am confident it will recover anyway, I am not so optimistic about its short to middle term performance.
It should be a long time because the transactions are all speeding up. People can exchange coins much faster now. |
