141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 25, 2021, 08:53:48 PM
~ After twenty/20 CWC we will have some very busy schedule for few teams like India England Australia and South Africa as these are going to for different tours, hopefully cricket will be better after this long COVID-19 break.

Big series coming New Zealand tour of India, Pakistan tour of Bangladesh and England tour of Australia and India tour of South Africa.
More than a month of cricket in the T20 format, the main tournament that is coming up is the Ashes, i am not telling that the rest of the tournament are not that important but everyone likes to see the Ashes because of the level of competition we should expect in that series. New Zealand tour of India, India will be having an advantage and Pakistan tour of Bangladesh will be interesting along with India touring South Africa because India defeated Australia and England but they are yet to defeat South Africa convincingly while touring .
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam tokens in my wallet on: October 25, 2021, 07:10:10 PM
The question I have is, how do you activate the malicious contracts?....I'm asking this because I wanna try to import one of those tokens (I found a namesake on CMC and want to see if it's the same token present in my wallet), so, importing the token is enough to activate the malicious contract (I don't want to accidentally activate it and let it destroy my account)?
Connecting the wallet and trying to move the scam tokens will be more than enough to active them, if you want to experiment, move the coins from the wallet that has valuation and then experiment with the fake tokens.

If you think that the tokens are listed in CMC make sure you check the contract address to make sure that it the same token.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: October 25, 2021, 06:40:09 PM
~
I really think that 6 figures are almost inevitable during this year, but seeing a growth like that will require external factors that make people adopt bitcoin as if there is no tomorrow and I am not so sure those external factors will show up so soon.
That is the expectation majority are having but who knows what will happen in the next few months, i am also expecting a huge correction in the mean time and it is hard to predict how long the bull rally would last. Hopefully we might see the hundred thousand by the end of this year, it all depends upon how the whales are planning to book their profit, because they hold the key about how long this rally will last.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: October 25, 2021, 05:33:16 PM
There have been many coins that have been proven to skyrocket if we hold it for the long term, I know ethereum around 2015 when the price was $ 1, at that time I could earn up to 20 ethereum in a day from various faucet sites if I held until now I could become a rich person like Elon Musk.
That is the issue, you are not Elon Musk and i am not sure which faucet was giving you 1 ETH per day, i invested in ETH during the ICO and i made a good profit and i am aware of many faucets that were available but how come it was possible to earn 20 ETH per day or even 1 ETH per day with faucets if not you are using some sort of bot hack to drain the faucets Tongue.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2021, 09:52:18 PM
Personally I do a bit of both.  I spend and save bitcoin.  Personally to me, I think that it's important for people to use bitcoin as a currency, even though many see bitcoin as just an asset and not a currency.  In my personal opinion I feel like bitcoin is only going to succeed on a mass scale is if it's also being used as a currency.
The real reason for the creation of Bitcoin is to use them as a decentralized currency and sometimes users tend to ignore that basic fact and view the market as a speculative asset. I do use Bitcoin to purchase goods and services and majority of the time i use them to gamble even though i use other alts as well, so yes i do spend the coins and i do accept your opinion that Bitcoin can scale only when it is considered as a currency first and an asset second.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: October 24, 2021, 07:25:35 PM
Many techniques are used by fraudsters to steal our money, the best thing to avoid scams is to store cryptocurrencies in exchanges that implement KYC and activate 2FA which will create a high level of security by activating Google authenticator, so all transactions that occur must be verified with the pin provided by Google .
That is a terrible idea, never store you coins in exchanges, what happens if that exchange is hacked, you will loose your coins and the exchange will close down citing bankruptcy and then what you will do. If you check you will hear about exchanges every year and how can that be a good proposition. The only way to get away from fraudsters is never visit random sites or never fall for anyone claiming to multiple your coins and if you can get away from that there is nothing much to worry.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 24, 2021, 06:12:49 PM
~
it is enough that this token has already made 60,000% of the profit in a year for those who entered at the start. Isn't that enough? This is the fun of the year, but at the same time shiba has improved the lives of many people and it's great!
There are many who made a huge profit in many projects in the market and it is simply because we are in a bull run, can we say the same next year when we slid back to the bear market and i want to see how many would come here and say that they are bleeding heavily from the market and how the projects some were started during the bull run shut their doors. During a bull run everything is merry, just reminding there is a situation when the market bleeds Wink.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron network VS Binance Smart Chain on: October 24, 2021, 04:54:55 PM
The growth of BSC is very fast, the ease of transacting at BSC or Tron is equally cheap in terms of transacting the cost is quite cheap, that's why there is no doubt about the TRC20 and BSC networks, but BSC is superior to Tron, regarding the trends that the BSC network has so that's why BSC, much in the interest of many lower and upper classes.
The growth of BSC network is helped by incompetency of the ETH network, when their network started to get congested the project developers were forced to find alternatives so that they can sustain the project and majority of them turned to BSC network. Tron is yet another hyped up project but i am yet to see the projects i am following getting onboard the Tron network.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: October 24, 2021, 03:24:10 PM
I think October is a good month for Bitcoin, while Altcoins are still trailing behind. I don't mean to discourage your hopes for Altcoins, but this is just an opinion. If it's true that Altcoins skyrocketed in October, I will choose ETH and some altcoins that are often trending in the market because usually these coins have a good chance. Moreover, ETH was once advertised as a substitute for Bitcoin because of its good performance, but in fact it wasn't because of that.
As long as the Bitcoin market is in a bull phase the altcoin market will move along with it. If you are holding the top coins then you will end up earning a good profit. I am not confident to invest in any market right now because the opportunity to invest is when the market is in a correction phase and not when the market is rallying.  ETH is not a substitute to Bitcoin, please do not make me laugh  Grin.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 24, 2021, 03:06:35 PM
I am really surprised to see that Mike Tyson accepted to fight Logan Paul, The Paul brothers are smart enough to come up with exhibition fights that could attract more eyes and this is no exception. It is not a surprise that majority here are backing Mike Tyson to win the fight and only one here is thinking that Logan Paul has a chance to win the fight  Cheesy.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 24, 2021, 02:34:51 PM
^^ India lost their third wicket, Pakistan is playing like champions in this match, they are not messing in the field, taking great catches and they can change history if they win the match. India is not slowing down even after loosing their wickets, they are scoring runs but one more wicket now and they will be under pressure as the Indian lower order is not that great in batting.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Post sold for $28000 !!! on: October 23, 2021, 10:50:24 PM
~
Seems that this just proves that there's a lot of people that don't know what to do with their coins. I mean, this is good for the industry but the price for a simple meme reaching that high is simply ridiculous
The user who brought the NFT is already put them on sale, which means he is trying to resell it at a much higher price and that is how the NFT market is progressing. Anyone who invest in the market does not thinking that they could make a healthy profit in the future and nothing else. I have read in some of the topics here that one of the top selling NFT which was worth millions was a orchestrated plan rather than a real buy. So these fancy deals are viewed with suspicion Grin.
153  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Ballon d'or 2021 - 30 Left - 29 November 2021⚽ on: October 23, 2021, 09:54:29 PM
~
Also Messi and Ronaldo era is over (apart from not so impressive achievement this year), so I think they will give it to another player. Probably Lewandowski Tongue
Lionel Messi might get this years Ballon d for his Copa America performance as he won the trophy with the national team and he won the golden boot and his performance for Barcelona was not bad either. CR7 scored a lot of goals this season and was the golden boot winner during the recent Euro cup and the only issue is he did not won any major tournament. So to write these legends off is just silly  Tongue.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: October 23, 2021, 09:25:49 PM
simply by burning this coin will make the coin become less and more rare.
when we talk about an economic system that deals with scarce goods, it will automatically make these goods more expensive than before because of the scarcity.
as well as in coins because as it gets rarer and less and less in the auto supply the coins will be more expensive in price.
but maybe this coin burning only applies to coins that are fundamentally good like with binance with its bnb and not all coins that are burned will be better.
The Binance team holds 40% of the coins which is over 80 million and the next 10% in the hands of seed investors and the rest they sold to the public, now what is the point if they keep on burning the coins and make them valuable. They should release the coins they are holding and try to make the market more decentralized rather than holding majority of the stakes.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 23, 2021, 08:35:36 PM
Anyone watching Bologna vs Milan. What a match Milan was leading 0-2 at halftime with 1 more player then Bologna and now its 2-2 and 2 red cards for Bologna. Can Bologna keep this result and keep a hard earned point or even 3 they are playing really good currently with 2 man down
I am watching the match and there are bets coming in even now expecting to see another goal from AC Milan, after the second red card for Bologna i went full in for AC Milan and there is no way they are going to get defeated but then there are heavy bets coming in for over 5.5 goals which i think is crazy  Grin.

Edit: Indeed AC Milan scored another goal in the 90th minute.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some of my insights on the market on: October 23, 2021, 08:18:43 PM
We can hope like that but we can only predict that and wait for a while because that 5 months later will be in February or March in the next year. No matter what will happen in the next 5 months, we must be ready and not panic if the bear market comes again. Hopefully, bitcoin can still increase until the next year so we will still have a chance to profit.
The bear market is inevitable as no market can move in a single direction, we are having a good rally this time does not mean that we will keep on moving higher. Expect the market to have a major correction by the end end of this year, that is what i am expecting and if the rally continue to last for a few more months, it would be great. But expect the correction to be big as well, that does not mean you need to panic, make changes in your position and when everything is settled make sure you hold coins Wink.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Strongman] 2021 Rogue Invitational on: October 23, 2021, 07:38:34 PM
^^  If you are aware of the tournament and following them, it would be great if you could give a review about the upcoming event. I used to watch small clips in social media about the strongman competition and that is the most i have done and i have no idea about the participants nor i do not remember the names of the participants i have watched.

158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: October 23, 2021, 07:14:17 PM
~
He needs a major improvement in the rematch if he wants to regain his popularity.
In his fight against Ruiz, it was different as the fans believe that Ruiz was just lucky to hit AJ with a solid punch and that KO happened.
But here, against Usyk, it was Usyk who is the better fighter and he was dominating AJ in the fight with his good footwork and head movement.
Andy Ruiz had really fast hands and Anthony Joshua did not anticipate that coming and one thing i understood about the skill level of Anthony Joshua is that he cannot improvise during the fight and so is the reason he lost against Andy Ruiz and that is the reason he was defeated against Usyk and what changes he will bring to the rematch is to be seen.

No doubt for me too, but Usyk vs Fury, I think Fury will win the match.
Fury is a master manipulator in the ring, his skill level is on another level and his jaw is unbreakable. No one could survive the punches Wilder landed and yet Fury survived all of his punches which is unbelievable and against Usyk it would be epic if he able to win the rematch. If Fury faces Joshua, he will school him  Cheesy.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 23, 2021, 06:36:40 PM

This is a very stupid suggestion. If politics has nothing to do with cricket, then why the ICC banned apartheid era South Africa from international cricket for almost three decades? Zimbabwe was suspended recently for something far less serious. And in Afghanistan the Taliban is butchering thousands of innocent people every day. And you suggest that the ICC should continue to fund the Afghan board with $5 million in funds every year, so that it can be stolen by the Taliban and used for terrorist activities?
You got a point there, ICC have interfered in the past and they might intervene but not sure what position they are going to take. When South Africa was banned from Cricket the political situation was far different from where we live now. Have to wait and see what decision the ICC is going to take.

The issue with CA is that the Taliban is having a strict view on woman and they will be deprived of their freedom which does not bode well to the society we are living.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 23, 2021, 05:39:22 PM
Are the T20 World Cup being played in different pitches than they played the IPL, why are the teams struggling to score runs, the way in which South Africa and Australia struggled and then West Indies played another blunder of an innings and chasing a small total England also struggled as they also lost 4 wickets scoring 56 runs.

Tomorrow we have India and Pakistan and with the way the first two matches went i am not expecting a big total on the board, but i hope it will be a competitive one.
