141  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q2) on: June 17, 2019, 09:28:52 PM
Do you have the contents of that e-mail or what?  I think you ought to quote it here for reference, but that's just my opinion.
I don't think quoting personal messages is the proper way, but we might disagree about whether PMs are actually private or not,
and I didn't explicitly ask Timelord to keep ours private, so if they insist on it, I guess there's nothing I can do against that.

I don't know why he went rogue, but that's what it appears happened.
Not topic of this thread, so if you have anything you want to ask me, PM me. I'd insist on that being private, however.

And I wasn't aware there were funds being held anywhere for this thing. That's news to me, but again I haven't been following this thread for a while.
The funds are from donations made for the mexxer-2 thread. That donation address has nothing to do with this thread.
While this thread and Lauda's thread carry on the initial idea of the known alts of anyone list, they are different projects.
The donations I hold were made during a time when mexxer-2 ran their thread and I managed most of the things for them.

As the quote by marlboroza shows, we've been clear that the donations are mainly meant for those taking the time to review submissions and format them to be added to the list.
It also mentions that the distribution of those funds is up to mexxers and my discretion. I hope that was clear to everyone donating.
If and when they are distributed, they should go to those who have contributed back then, not be forwarded to be allocated to and by someone else.
While I respect the time spent and work done here, this is not what the donations were made for.

Based on that, I do not plan to send the full amount to Timelord to be held in the new donation address.
I however do recognize that Timelord did actively contribute to the mexxer-2 thread and would be more than happy to forward them part of the donations for that help.
If Timelord wants to send me an address to where I can do that, and then send those funds on to the new donation address, that's their decision.

Also, if anybody had sent funds to the donation address I control and disagrees with my decision, they can contact me and upon verifying their donation, I will refund them, should they not be happy with my handling of it.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little longer for this weeks payment again.
Same as last time I've completed the postcounts and updated the sheet.
Payments will go through as soon as DogecoinMachine is available to take care of them.

can I make the codes myself? For example, to post in my videos for viewers?
No, user-created voucher codes are not available at this point in time.

I've done the post counts earlier today, but as DogecoinMachine isn't feeling well today, payments will be shortly delayed.
147  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐Crypto-Games.net ⭐4 Years Old ⭐LARGEST wagering contest⭐New Game - Minesweeper on: February 02, 2019, 05:24:11 PM
At last you guys put new games here, I just wondering om how much multiplier that you can give out?
The technical limits for a minesweeper game with 25 fields are multipliers just over 5 million, which can happen with 12 or 13 mines (full field uncovered).
But I saw there is 24 mines button which is only one left to hit, how about that multiplier goes if in case someone hit it? Because you said that with 12 or 13 mines there is already a big payout like 5mill. I wondering about this payout as well. And how about this uncover payout do you mean if somehow I manage to hit it then the max payout should be only 4 btc as the ToS said?
Minesweeper works in a way where the maximum multiplier goes down again if you add more mines after 13.

For a game with 24 mines, you can only play one round, thus the multiplier would be (25/1) = 25x before the house edge.
Compare this to 13 mines, where you have (25/12)*(24/11)*(23/10)*(22/9)*(21/8)*(20/7)*(19/6)*(18/5)*(17/4)*(16/3)*(15/2)*(14/1) = 5,200,300x before the house edge,
and you see, that the maximum multiplier relies on both you having many mines and you having the ability to play many rounds.

This sweet-spot is hit with 12 mines / 13 rounds and 13 mines / 12 rounds, where the maximum technically possible multiplier is achieved. Adding more mines after that only decreases this limit.

If you closely read the How to Play information for minesweeper, you will find that the 4BTC limit is enforced by a stop requirement.
"We only accept bets that have a profit smaller than 4 BTC (maximum win per bet), this means your game will not be allowed to uncover additional fields, if your pending win would go over this threshold."
You won't be able to play until the technically possible max multiplier, as the game reaches a win state before that, once you cross the 4BTC limit.

Does the investors's profit shown on the website include fees or is it before fees?
Where excatly are you checking the profit?
On your website. Invest, chart.
Chart include 30% fees.
So is that the real profit investors had or is it before fees were paid?
It's the real profit without the divest fees (0.1%  - 0.3% for early divestors)
I think I understand your confusion and I have previously discussed this topic with someone else who had a similar question (IIRC it was thenerd314, who afaik reads along this thread, so if he wants to chime in...).
Since I don't quite recall whether it was in this thread, in my tracking thread, or in the chat, and since searching all 200 pages/my 5000 posts would be a lot for me to go through,
I'll briefly sum up the essence of it once again. Feel free to follow up on my explanations, in either of the three places.

For better understanding, I will use the numbers from the BTC chart as examples (also, since BTC is the most popular together with ETH, it likely is the one you were looking at or others would have questions about).
I'll look at the chart in a 3 month period (meaning from Oct 18th to Jan 19th, you can replicate the view I get with the 3mo button).
For those reading at a later point, or not familiar with the chart, this are the numbers shown:

Bankroll Size: relatively stable, starting at 1497.6BTC, ending at 1477.7BTC, lowest at 1342.8BTC, highest at 1519.9BTC,
for the sake of making an estimate, I will appraise the bankroll size to be fixed at 1480BTC in my calculations.
This introduces a small error, but the accurate calculation is too complicated and not needed to explain what I want to show.

Total profit: starting at 1198.15BTC, ending at 1235.31BTC, which equals a profit of ~37BTC for all Bitcoin investors over the last three months.

What I assume you did (and correct me if I am wrong, but that's the misunderstanding I helped clearing up in the past) is the following:

If the total profit grew from 1198 BTC to 1236 BTC, meaning an increase of 3.1%, then my investment should increase by 3.1% as well.
However, this is wrong. The total profit line/number tracks investors profit from the very beginning of public investments and shows the raw profit,
without taking bankroll size (the second line in the chart) into consideration.
To calculate the increase of your individual investment, you have to take this number and weight it against your share of the bankroll.
With Bitcoin, and the numbers being so close together (1200BTC and 1400BTC), people sometimes forget about this, since the above increase is "realistically" possible.

If we do this with a profit of 37BTC and a bankroll of 1480BTC (our earlier appraisal), we would get an increase of 2.5%, not 3.1%.
This should be closer to the return you have seen.
However it still is not 100% accurate, since the bankroll size changed due to new investors and leaving investors,
thus at some points your investment had a lower share of the profits and at some points it had a higher share.

I hope this explanation has helped some of you to understand reading the charts and gathering the information from them they desire.
I would urge everyone with more specific questions about investments (or a follow up to this) to head over to the dedicated investment (tracking) thread maintained by me:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2445163.0
This way, discussions like this one can be easier found by others having the same questions, and do not get burried within hundreds of pages about other aspects of the site.
I'll also link this response specifically in my "special posts" section over there to make finding it easier in the future.

I have noticed that another signature campaign managed by Lutpin has already been paid, and yet we still haven't received any update about the current situation.
I'll be handing over the campaign to a new manager within the next days. You'll hear more from him once the transfer is finalized.

lightlord needs to employ a new campaign manager, fuck knows what happened to Lutpin. He used to be a really trustworthy, helpful member of the community but he’s obviously lost his shit.
lightlord get a new campaign manager before you start getting neg trust from DT Members.
I'm in discussion with LL about transfering the campaign.

I'm preparing payments to make up for the missed rounds.
They'll be sent out tomorrow morning.

After that, the campaign will switch from bi-weekly payments to monthly rounds,
but more about that once the payments have been made.

I'll also talk to bitblender about whether, and if how, to transfer the campaign.

Closing in on on year worth of stats, here's those for October (Month #11):

BTC investment: 3.667% increase.
ETH investment: 1.043% increase.
LTC investment: 3.421% increase.
XMR investment: 1.275% increase.
STRAT investment: 0.427% increase.
DOGE investment: 7.942% increase.
DASH investment: 0.680% decrease.
PPC investment: 8.909% increase.
GAS investment: 1.284% increase.
BCH investment: 8.611% decrease.
ETC investment: 4.772% increase.

Average return assuming same investment in all coins: 3.697% increase.

A really good month again, overall. The average increase is almost 4% and with just one month missing for the first full year, we're nearing a 20% total increase on average.
Notable this month was a huge rollover on doge (over 1200%). Another thing worth pointing out is the continue of DASH's underperformance. Despite having alright rollovers and a relatively small bankroll, dash investments are by far the poorest performing ones over the full period (yet still up 4%, which is an alright apr).
155  Other / Archival / Re: [Archived] Profit tracking. on: November 01, 2018, 10:41:09 PM
We're missing one month of stats, so here's those for September (Month #10):

BTC investment: 0.130% decrease.
ETH investment: 3.212% increase.
LTC investment: 0.807% increase.
XMR investment: 4.140% increase.
STRAT investment: 2.500% increase.
DOGE investment: 5.891% increase.
DASH investment: 0.144% decrease.
PPC investment: 9.731% increase.
GAS investment: 0.479% increase.
BCH investment: 1.663% decrease.
ETC investment: 2.794% increase.

Average return assuming same investment in all coins: 2.511% increase.

Biggest rollover was on Doge with 550%, resulting due to a big decrease in the bankroll size (doge prizes increased, some investors opted to sell their holdings).
The average rollover was 207%, around half the average rollover of the month before, and the average investment increase is also roughly half the one of the previous month.
For the first time in 10 tracked months, the BTC investment has shown negative returns. I don't think I spoil too much for next month when I say this is not going to stay the case.

I was planning on writing an article about the investments on Crypto Games, I'd like to also mention this thread, add a short summary and a link to the thread of course.
Now I was wondering if I could use one of your charts as a (secondary) image in that article. I'll add proper references to you and your thread.
I'm currently working on a way to better present the charts and tables.
Ideally something that would be interactive, letting you compare selected coins to each other, or browse only a certain timeframe.
As the images like they are now are outdated and going to be replaced soon with that upgrade, you can use them in whatever way you wish.
Once I've done the new version, and if you want to further use my investment overview in your articles, we can discuss if and how you can use those new charts and tables.

I translated your thread into Russian. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5032640.0
Thanks for giving those that aren't able to speak english a chance to understand/access my information as well.

Unfortunately it seems as if BTC and ETH are no longer options for investing.
Indeed, investments for BTC and ETH are closed for new investors right now, the topic has been discussed earlier in this thread already, I think,
and I continue tracking all my investments for the sake of completion.

Lightlord please monitor Bitvest from time to time.
Lutpin had time to advertise his thing but can't count a few posts in weeks, people gave lightlord negative trust, at this point this guy should get it too.
A few being close to 4000.

Lately players have been very lucky on dice as well. Dice profit of last 30 days is ~2 BTC for gamblers.
Not so good for investors, but at least it's a proof that house doesn't always win.
Speaking of investors (shameless self-plug):
My investment tracking thread is ongoing, and coming up on 1 year of tracking soon.
Currently there is data for the months December to August available,
with an update for the September returns (including the first time ever BTC investments did decrease over a 1 month period) coming in shortly.

A few key numbers as a sneak preview:

Over the last 9 months, investments increased on average by 11.735%. This equals to an average monthly increase of 1.241%, and it equals to an expected annual increase of 15.952%.
The highest gainer over this full period is ETH with a 23.786% increase, although the recently added BCH has already overtaken that by increasing by 24.851% in just 5 months.

Monthly bankroll rollovers have been averaging around 100% (between 75 & 136), meaning a full rollover, for the tracked period.
Notable exception is August, when the rollover was not 100%, but over 380%. Wagers have significantly increased in August, mainly due to big volume on BCH and ETH.

If you're interested in all tracked data and ongoing updates to the investment returns, take a look at the full thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2445163.0
160  Other / Archival / Re: [Archived] Profit tracking. on: October 02, 2018, 10:03:10 PM
I've missed out on doing an update for August, so there's two sets of numbers incoming, first off, the catching up for the missed update, the numbers for the prior month, August.
And shortly after, I'll also do the September update, so we're back on track. Due to this, the August update will only be in text (and included in the September chart), but I won't update the OP for it.

Here are the numbers for August (Month #9):

BTC investment: 0.540% increase.
ETH investment: 10.787% increase.
LTC investment: 1.720% increase.
XMR investment: 0.433% increase.
STRAT investment: 5.972% increase.
DOGE investment: 2.834% increase.
DASH investment: 0.716% decrease.
PPC investment: 4.957% decrease.
GAS investment: 14.687% increase.
BCH investment: 19.129% increase.
And the newly added ETC investment: 2.632% increase.

Average return assuming same investment in all coins: 4.824% increase.

And some rollover numbers since there is no table for this month:
The average rollover was 382.96%, by far the highest since I started tracking monthly rollovers.
Biggest percentage on a single coin had BCH with 1,611% rollover, followed by ETH with 650% and PPC with 615%.
Lowest rollovers were at Dash and BTC (55%).

The big surprise that month is certainly ETH, which has a big bankroll, and yet also provided big returns.
GAS and BCH had even bigger gains, but have lower bankrolls, so a breakout is not that surprising.
BTC has been slow for a few months now, in part due to low bankroll rollover, and in equal parts due to players being lucky on BTC for the last months.

For better navigation, I have added a quicklink section to the first reply. Currently, there are links to all monthly update posts for quick browsing there.
I will also list posts or particular interest in the list, like the monthly rollover comparison, or the ETH hotwallet chart.

I hope this helps people finding the things they are searching for more quickly.
