I would suggest leaving neutral feedback starting with "Spammer" or whatever word we agree on, and ask signature managers to disallow users with that trust.
At that point, why use the trust system at all.
Neutral feedback makes it hard to spot those users (eg think about a campaign with 100 users, a manager would have to parse 100 trust pages to spot such tags, as they dont show up like negative trust does).
The reason some use negative feedback to tag spammers/shitposters is because it stands out. It's easy to spot.

Helping to keep the SMAS list up to date and asking signature managers to use it can also help.
If we already achieve consensus among campaigns on how to deal with this problem, leave out the trust system.
We dont necessarily have to use SMAS, but an apporach similar to it would be more easy to manage.

A public collective list that is easy to request and check.
If you want signature campaigns to use it, make it so they can do that without creating a huge extra effort.

This could work out, but what it needs is widespread support from all campaigns.
The way SMAS is right now, it's impact is limited. Utilizing the trust system has a way bigger impact as it affects campaigns that don't directly support the fight against spam.

(Note that I, currently, do not leave negative feedback for spamming/shitposting. My apprach to this problem was initializing SMAS, if you want to contribute to that approach, feel free to contact me.)

Since they dont do support via bitcointalk and are only rarely active on here, try the site integrated support system.
Make sure you're on the correct site, the only valid url is http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: January 23, 2018, 04:25:46 PM
The site is back up. BTC deposit & withdrawal should be working. Please give me more time for BCH, XMR, and BTG.
Now thats a surprise.
Any reason why a premined fork like BTG was selected as new addition over fairly launched alternatives (like LTC eg)?

He's talking about distributing BTG to those who had BTC balance at snapshot block and BTG withdrawals (overdue), not about supporting BTG as dice currency.
While we are supporting BTG withdrawal, currently we have no future plan to support BTG as a dice currency.
Thats a fairly long delay.

Do you entertain community requests?
I see garlicoin is a nice and upcoming project with a potentially big group of people waiting to get their hands on a phyiscal representation.
665  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOIN.AG - The #1 ɃTC ETH BCH LTC DASH XRP Casino Poker Sports Dice - 5 Years! on: January 21, 2018, 09:35:09 PM
How would someone get hold of an betcoin.ag email address, though?
Exactly my question!  It looks like the scam is a little more involved than just having attained an email list of users. Either they attained the "email list" && found a way to counterfeit the metadata || they accessed the DNS directly ---> right?
We understand your concern. Based on our investigation so far, this is the same person who got the list several years ago.
How can someone that breached your servers 2 years ago still have access to your DNS?
Do you understand the situation here? This isnt about knowing the email address, this is about being able to send emails from your domain.
You might have a major security issue on your hands right there.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOIN.AG - The #1 ɃTC ETH BCH LTC DASH XRP Casino Poker Sports Dice - 5 Years! on: January 21, 2018, 02:54:49 PM
Received this email from: Betcoin.ag <bonus@betcoin.ag> IP 217.70.183.197
~snip~
This is clearly a scam attempt. We would never send an email like this.
The question is: How did they get my email address?
we are not sure.
(Authenticated sender: betcoinsupport1@betcoin.ag) <--- From metadata
That is not a valid Betcoin email address.
How would someone get hold of an betcoin.ag email address, though?

If the new management pays out, they're going to be quite reputable, depending on the amount.
Do you even read the posts above yours?

Why doesn't it show Safedice anymore?
Read. Just the post right before yours.

But doubt SD can make significant improvement, since I understand it's operated by one guy, who can't commit to much time to it.
One big improvement would be admitting you can't handle everything on your own and getting some help running the site.
674  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ Since 2014 ★ 7 games ★ Jackpot ★ Highest Faucet on: January 14, 2018, 12:32:32 AM
Am I remembering correctly that crypto-games.com was a different site which was kind of a scam?
Yes, around 2013 (IIRC) the domain used to belong to a gambling site that didn't take a very fortunate end.
AFAIK the site was already shut down by the time crypto-games.net was established.

Did you buy their domain to prevent confusion?
For better accessibility and to prevent the domain being used by anyone else, regardless of their intentions.
675  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitvest.io - Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ (JR-Hero Accepted) on: January 12, 2018, 02:55:10 PM
Allow members to apply and only wear the signature after they have been accepted.
It's nowhere mentioned that you have to wear the signature/avatar for you application to be considered.
Doing so allows you to be instantly enrolled should you be accepted, but isn't a requirement to be accepted.

Besides, your trust excludes you from being enrolled in this campaign.
676  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitvest.io - Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ (JR-Hero Accepted) on: January 12, 2018, 02:27:32 PM
As announced in the 777Coin thread and as I've indicated last week, we're switching over to 2 week rounds as standard.
I'm also looking into how to integrate segwit payments effectively with the current escrow setup.

The easiest way to do this would be using a bech32 address (assuming I'm sticking with Electrum).
However, services like Coinbase are known to cause issues with bech32 addresses (you might end up not getting credited your signature payments if they are sent directly to CB).

I'm currently discussing the best course of action with lightlord, which takes a bit longer than expected.

Update: There's no update as of yet.
Update 2: The next update will happen with the next payment
Update 3: Thank you for your patience.
Update 5: There's still no update.
Update 6: Did anyone notice there has been no update #4?
677  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: January 12, 2018, 02:12:15 PM
I have generated a wallet that starts with "3" on electrum 3.0.5 so basically that means Segwit has been enabled right? Will adopt and go for the changes after your announcement regarding the update of our addresses. I'm still figuring it out on how to generate that "bc1" wallet (bech32 address) w/ electrum.
No, not all P2SH addresses are segwit addresses (P2SH-P2WPKH).

Switching to a bech32 address would be pretty easy for me, yet I don't want to do that without asking you guys for your opinion and giving you enough preparation time.
After all, things are supposed to go smooth for both sides, not just me.
678  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 07-Jan-2018] on: January 12, 2018, 02:08:53 PM
Yes, but he stated this somewhere in the thread, new applicants are not aware of that unless they decide to go through every post in the thread. Updating 1st or 2nd post wouldn't hurt.
Somewhere? It's the first reply, my very first post in the whole thread. You should read as much.

If this is tolerated, then why wouldn't someone apply this campaign model:

1- Advertised campaign, offer attractive rates. You can even use trusted escrow.
2- Never reply, don't accept/reject anyone, so you don't have to pay a single satoshi (since no one is officially accepted).
3- People will be losing patience and moving on, but new ones will surely keep coming in.
4- Congrats, you got constant stream of free advertising.
5- Not require applicants to wear the signature before being enrolled, thus offsetting points 1 to 4

It takes literally seconds to write a quick update and let applicants know on what's causing the delay etc.
I was expecting an answer within the day, I didn't get one.
An update that says nothing is worthless, thus there was none.

As a basic rule, I dont make new enrollments as long as I don't have sufficient funds to cover payments.
Since the escrow was empty after the last payment, and I had requested an escrow refill, I delayed enrollments untill that happened.

And yes, indeed, this might take 9 days (not like the speed depends on me).

I think Lutpin have finally decided and changed the schedule adjustment to 2 weeks per round, so you have to wait him check your application guys and wait for his confirmation and announcement.
That's correct, we are doing bi-weekly rounds as a standard now.
I'm also considering to switch over to a segwit address, however, the current setup for escrows (Electrum) only allows bech32 addresses.
This could cause problems if eg some of you receive campaign payouts to Coinbase (or a similar service), as afaik they still dont credit deposits sent from bech32 addresses.
If we do make the switch, I'll announce it a round before so you can update your addresses if you want to.
680  Other / Archival / Re: [Archived] Profit tracking. on: January 10, 2018, 10:20:40 PM
Is there any stated reason for this change or any indication that new investors will be allowed again?
I expect investments to be opened up for everyone again once a new currency is being added, which might not be that far away.

I'll keep you updated on changes in this regard.
