Where do the rewards from 'invite a friend' come from? That can be a huge amount, since it's 25% of the house edge.
There's detailed explanation in FAQ about investments....check "How do investments work?", and yes referral rewards are factored in calculation.
That doesn't really answer my question. The FAQ states 'The equation above does not factor in faucets and referral rewards and is only an estimate for long-term returns.'
The only thing it tells me, is that the refferal rewards are at least parly paid by the bankroll. It doesn't state that all (or a certain percentage) of the refferal rewards is paid by the bankroll.
It does, the bolded part does.
The investors share profit from the house edge games (key words being profit here),
profit doesnt equal net loses of the players, as affiliate rewards and faucets have to be factored in,
which is both shown in the detailed investment calculations available to all investors.

Quote from the FAQ:

"We take 30% of the profit/losses that are made in a 1-hour interval. Also, when calculating profit/losses, faucets and referral rewards are factored in"

I guess we are again on 2 weeks round?
Yes, two week rounds reduce transaction fees, which is especially important for junior members and members who are getting smaller inputs from us.
Less payrounds means less inputs means less fees when moving the earnings from the campaign.

i have just ranked up to full member and, as i was accepted on probation, would like to know if i'm accepted and can rank up as well, if so i will change my signature with the right one.
Update your signature/avatar.

Payments for the last round processed (e9dee60997e7b74fc6764d879b3d1d512454282450bb98485caefda64860c234).

We'll stick to bi-weekly payments, since I haven't heard anyone weighting in against it.
686  Other / Archival / Re: [Archived] Profit tracking. on: January 01, 2018, 08:10:41 PM
Looking forward to seeing those stats.
Numbers for this month are as following:

BTC investment: 0.192% increase.
ETH investment: 1.472% increase.
LTC investment: 1.623% increase.
XMR investment: 1.255% increase.
STRAT investment: 0.315% increase.
DOGE investment: 2.348% increase.
DASH investment: 2.304% increase.
PPC investment: 4.820% increase.
GRC investment: 2.212% increase.

Average return assuming same investment in all coins: 1.838% increase.

I'd add some more columns to the table: EV since you invested ((wagered*edge)/bankroll), and then a column for annualized returns (both for EV and actual profit).
Annualized returns have been added.
The direct EV I don't want to do, but I did calculate rollovers for each bankrolls, which loosely correspond to your expected returns.

I’d like to know if this has something to do with the current fees problem, so people are not depositing so much bitcoin, or if it’s just due to normal variance.
Both BTC and ETH have seen a pretty low rollover this month, with 46% and 66% (both of them have scaling problems, we're coming out of the CryptoKitties month after all).
However, both coins also have a huge bankroll compared to the other coins available at CG, so this might be a factor as well.
LTC, which shortly had fee problems as well, in comparison shows a decent rollover (120%).

Could these be provided on your site? For clarity.
They are.
The winning ticket number always links to the page for the draw.

So, I decided to take a look at your lottery. You've been sharing the lottery results on RandomPicker site up until 18th of Jan 2017.
However after that there's no sign of more draws https://www.randompicker.com/Project/Public/ProjectsRecent.aspx?Key=388450x57428
What you're looking at is the draws in the 30 days before the "Bitcoin Lottery #129" draw, not a list of all draws made.

Once again, last 30 days.

EDIT 3: https://www.crypto-games.net/lotto/lotto_round1_btc.txt There's rounds visible over there but not up until the latest ones. Got lazy?
Got API-y.
Check above.

The original Segwit2x (the project I was referring to) was made by semi-reputable people with good intention, this one looks to be nothing but scum.
While looking a bit deeper into this, I've stumbled upon something I just had to share.

Remember Donna, the pretty face on their "team"?
She's not on linked.in but luckily, everyone is on instagram these days, right?

Well, only her profile looked like this a few days ago:

I would like to know if the event have any minimum bet to eligible for it? Because I do not see there is any amount limitation around your link there. And is there any leaderboard on who is the highest currently? So everyone can know and may be they are going for it or stop it right away. And one more thing, any coin will do right? As long as it is a consecutive wins right?
You wouldnt be making posts just for your sig campaign, would you?
Nah, because that would be a bad thing to do, right?

It's a fork, not a "scan".
It's a scam, not a scan.
Didn't bother much with it, the namejacking thing put me off to start with.
Then there is their team being combined off google and instagram.
Chances Ledger will support that should be somewhere between 0 and nothing.
691  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitvest.io - Plinko Sig. Campaign ★☆★ (JR-Hero Accepted) on: December 29, 2017, 11:05:19 AM
What time can we expect our payment for this round sir? Or it is our 2nd week round now?
It's a 2 week round and we're likely going to stick with that.
With current transaction fees, bi-weekly rounds provide considerable advantages for everyone.
They reduce transaction costs during payrounds, as well as once the payment is spent (less, but higher inputs -> smaller transaction sizes).
692  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: December 29, 2017, 10:10:32 AM
Hey all,
I've been taking a short break over the holidays, hope all those of you that celebrate them had a nice time.
We'll do a double round payment on Sunday.

As a few of you had already asked me to hold payments for several rounds, I'm also considering switching over to bi-weekly payments as standard.
Not only saves it txfees for the payrounds, it also saves txfees for you, as you'll have less/bigger inputs for your spending.

I just found out the chain was scanned a few hours ago and I didn't manage to withdraw my coins
It's a fork, not a "scan".
You can't call it a fork without a working wallet. The chain was captured yesterday, it was scanned.
It's a fork if it carries over the chain and the first block of "B2X" is built on top of Bitcoin's block #501,451
(thus the hash pointer in the block header references that block).
A scan as an airdrop with a completely new chain would do it doesn't carry over blocks, it only carries over balances.
Forks and airdrop scans are different, "B2X" advertises itself as fork, thus I call it one.
694  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest crowdfunded casino on: December 29, 2017, 04:50:28 AM
It was revived as S2X and just hard forked earlier today.
It wasn't.
Different people using the same name in order to gain publicity for their project (which is different from the original project in several aspects) doesn't mean SegWit2x gets continued.
The people behind this "B2X" and the people originally working on SegWit2x are completely different, the parameters of both forks are as well.

AFAIK Segwit2x died months ago. You should probably change your source of news.
The original announcement from Voorhees and others indicated the 2x fork simply being delayed, not called off.
However, since then, BTC1 code was found to be faulty (meaning a 2x fork couldn't have happened even if they planned to continue),
and Garzik abandoned the project to work on his ICO.
How much chance all that together means for 2x activating any time, I don't know.

We could still very much use a 2MB consensus mainchain hardfork.

http://b2x-segwit.io/ is the site or you can look at any news site there is because every site has covered it and has been for a week...
What a bunch of great people, maybe next time they can hire actual developers,
instead of instagram models and pictures off google.

I just found out the chain was scanned a few hours ago and I didn't manage to withdraw my coins
It's a fork, not a "scan".

Wondering if we're going to get credited once there's a working wallet?
Depends on LedgerWallet.

Hey, can you guys tell me what's going to happen with Segwit2x Fake2xCoin?
Standard procedure, this one isn't different from any others.

A suggestion: Add a "Your tickets in the last round" tab to the lottery page as many players don't know to check the ticket numbers before the draw.
That would be nice. It sucks losing with 86% of the tickets...
It's been integrated via the API.
http://api.crypto-games.net/v1/LottoTickets/username/ticker/#round
So for your tickets last round, you'd have to check

~snip~
Betking do not have an investment option to earn interest on your deposits but they recently launched betking ico and their token are traded on the open market.
~snip~
Based on this link investors lost almost 60% of their BTC - https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@btcmillionaire/bitcoin-casino-investments-15-week-14-of-52
Interesting to see that both sites that held an ICO/created a token are down massively, compared to those sites that accept direct bankroll investments.

The campaign isn’t paying at the moment - those in power are remaining silent on it. Not looking good.
We've been running a few 2 week rounds in the past, it's my go-to option whenever I dont receive an escrow refill in time.
Other options would include pausing the campaign, which is painful not only for me, but also for you guys.
Two week rounds allow us to keep the campaing going without interrupting, even though the escrow isnt refilled in time.

You've been with us for a very long time, and you've been paid every week so far, haven't you?
I'm surprised to see a post like that, especially from a user being part of this campaign for as long.

Seems there's been a slight miscommunication with lightlord over the escrow refills. I've received one for BitVest, and already informed him I'll need one for 777 as well.
Payments for the last two weeks are rolling out once that arrives.
