1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto payments for online purchases: Trends in 2022 on: January 06, 2023, 11:50:14 AM
Here is a report from CoinGate
https://coingate.com/blog/post/crypto-payments-overview-2022

I found the report very interesting. We all thought that 2022 was very bad for crypto as bear market continued for most part of the year. But so far as crypto payments for online payments is concerned, the data suggests otherwise. There is increase in total number as well as volume of crypto transactions. Another interesting data in this report is that bitcoin topped the total share of all payments. 48% of the transactions happened with bitcoin which proves that bitcoin is still the King of crypto even after we have thousands of alt coins.
I thought stabelcoins was much more popular than Bitcoin, because the dollar is much more popular. Thanks to stabelcoins, there are now no restrictions on cashing out in different countries. With the current unstable situation in the world, I'm not surprised that people are using cryptocurrency for cross-border payments. This trend will probably increase even more in the future.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 11:10:13 AM
I'm not familiar with this so called BONK, but it's good that you have given the community a fair warning because obviously this is just another meme coins, for just pump and dump scheme and that's what really happening right now.

It's all time high is around December 30 as per cmc, but you can see it right now going down as high as 50% already.

Meaning the dump has been happening ever since their ATH and have been happening for a week now. And I don't think it will help Solana survived though if that's what this project is all about.
Yes, now some exchanges offer profitable trading of this coin, with prizes for those who will have a large volume of trades. In fact, there are a lot of such shitcoins appearing. You just don't need to pay attention to short-term hype and then you won't become a victim of price falling. Now it's better to hold the time-tested coins and not to trade.
1403  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 05, 2023, 07:05:33 PM
Historically, January has always been a bad month for cryptocurrencies, so it seems to me that this year the situation will be the same as usual. Although I expect that we will see growth this year, but most likely it will not happen at the beginning of the year. The main thing is to leave all negative events behind and not to have new collapses with big companies.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 05, 2023, 04:10:09 PM
Chess tournaments as well as checkers may be a good sports field for the betting industry. I know I would bet in a chess match as I already did that against a friend. We have gathered a group pf players in my neighbourhood. Thrn we started with a betting game where we could bet on the winner ot we could bet on first player going for a check. Ithe experiment worked out fine. So, if there was a site where you could bet on checkers or chess would you go for it?
I probably wouldn't bet on chess tournaments because I'm not interested in the game. But some gamblers who regularly bet on various sporting events would probably be interested in such bets. It seems to me, though, that it needs some kind of big championship, not a neighborhood competition. And yet chess is less popular than other sports.
1405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: January 05, 2023, 11:37:19 AM
Bitcoin is going to be main source of Payments, paper money will get disappear and there will be no more printing of papers 💰💰💰

As much as we wanted to be as the main source of payments, there are a lot of challenges that we have to face, like the volatility and not everyone are willing to accept it. Not sure what you mean by paper money disappearing though, central banks are not going to allow it.

For 2023, the prediction might still be the same, it could trade sideways for the whole year as we are still in the bear market.

So still we better prepared again, who knows, maybe there could be events like FTX that will make a huge impact on the price again and see another lowest for 2023 before eventually rising up next year. But with regards to Elon Musk, he has no influence on the bitcoin market.
I think it is wrong to say that Elon Musk has no influence on the bitcoin market. He just stopped mentioning cryptocurrency in his tweets for now. But for example, he can influence the market by the fact that his company Tesla will sell or buy bitcoins. Accordingly, it will affect the rise or fall in price. I also think that in 2023 we can expect bad things like another collapse of a big company, like FTX did, but in the second half of 2023 I hope for growth.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 05, 2023, 10:50:36 AM
Tomorrow Elche vs Celta Vigo will start a match between these two teams. Among these two teams, Celta Vigo is still ahead in the points table. However, which of these two teams will win tomorrow, it is not possible to predict in advance. Which team has a good performance in the game?  I can't comment until I see what happens. I'm looking forward to watching this game. I see no other way than to wait to see which team will win.
Elche is the only team that has not yet won a single game in La Liga this season. And Celta won three games, but are still not far apart in the standings. I think that in this match Celta will win. They have drawn their last two La Liga games. I think that against Elche they will also be able at least not to lose.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 04, 2023, 05:53:29 PM
Juventus should be able to win the match against Cremonese easily. After all, Juventus will face the team, which is absolutely at the bottom of the table. And Juventus will have to win this match because otherwise, the point difference is going to be huge with the second team on the table (Milan). And Juventus cannot let that happen. Because they are already facing enough problems. Losing a team that is absolutely at the bottom of the table is going to cause more problems for them going forward in the future. The club and especially Allegri certainly does not want that.
US Cremonese has no game win in this season. The starting line-up is set and there are three changes for Juventus: Soul (19), McKennie (24) and Miretti (19) for Cuadrado, Rabiot and Kean. Two very young players, let's see if that was a good decision. One who will definitely be substituted is Federico Chiesa. Juventus have won 7 of their last 10 games, today i think there are more than 2 goals for Juve.
Cremonese were able to score a goal, but it was cancelled after VAR. Yes, they haven't won a game this season. But so far they've had three shots in 20 minutes and Juventus hasn't been able to hit once. I'd really like Juventus to win this game too, but I have my doubts after starting the match like this.
1408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 04, 2023, 04:54:53 PM

The match between Salernitana and AC Milan only started in the 26th minute and 2 goals were scored by Rafael Leao and Sandro Tonali, with this score AC Milan's advantage until half-time will be safe. In terms of ball possession, the two teams were even, but AC milan was not an easy opponent for Salernitana, even though playing as host to Salernitana could not do anything. But in the second half, no one knows whether Salernitana can turn things around or not, but I hope AC Milan will win this game.
The second half has been running for more than 15 minutes and the score is still the same as the first half. Salernitana have not been able to find where they can exploit the gaps that will work in their favor in the AC Milan defense, while the visitors continued to look to add to their tally in the second half.
Another match that was held simultaneously, Sampdoria temporarily won over Sassuolo, I myself did not expect that Sassuolo would be in trouble like this in their first game. They are also very difficult to create opportunities that have the potential to become a goal.
The match was over for AC Milan's victory, in the second half Salernitana had replied to AC Milan's attack and produced 1 goal, but unfortunately AC Milan's victory did not change and the score ended 1-2. A similar match between Sasuolo and Sampdoria also ended with the same score 1-2. It seems that in this match the hosts Salernitana and Sasuolo failed to secure their victory.
Probably no one doubted Milan's victory. It is very important for them to get points now to compete with the other clubs. For example, Lazio is still playing in a draw with Lecce and is already behind Milan. It will be interesting to see how Juventus play Cremonese. I heard they have squad problems again and if they don't win this game, Milan will have a gap.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: January 04, 2023, 04:19:05 PM
As a beginner into the trading business, I'm always scared of putting my money into altcoins but I do hear some people talk about how they make profits altcoins.

So I decided to come here to seek the views of experienced traders on the potentials of altcoins.
Altcoins can indeed bring benefits to investors. Most altcoins were profitable at first, but over time there were many altcoins that could not survive the bear market, most only in the short term. Be more vigilant and patiently analyze and research when investing in new altcoins to avoid more losses.

Buying altcoins during a bear market and selling them during a bull market can be a good strategy for investors. The main thing is to choose new altcoins every new market phase, because old coins die more often. And it is better not to get attached to such projects. Sell and forget. That way you can minimize the risk of losing money.
It's not just buying in a bearish market, one needs to seek for potential alts that could make it through the bearish as well. With every coming day things get refined and new features are added to the alts. Therefore, it is must to go through the white paper and also to see the credibility of the technical team behind the project.
I absolutely agree with you that you need to spend a lot of time to research the project you are interested in in order to avoid scams. But as practice shows, even reliable projects can go bankrupt, such as the recent story with TERRA LUNA. So you can never put all your eggs in one basket and you should always diversify risks.

1411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: January 04, 2023, 10:48:26 AM
If i'm going to playsafe a bit, i'll go with btc and eth only. But then if I want a higher reward, I will take a higher risk and go with those coins from top 3 and so on. Aside from btc and eth, I don't personally like other altcoins before but last year made me think of going trx, xrp, and doge. I think i'll go with doge first, i've been wanting to hodl it since the hype of Elon and since I guess the hype is over, i'm gonna target it this year.
With having a limited funds then i would only choose up 1-3 coins which would be including Btc and Eth automatically inside my portfolio but if you do have that lots of capital or something you could invest on then

it isnt really bad to bag off the current top #10 ranking coins in the market which it might be resulting into much better profits on the time that the market would be making out some bull runs but
you should really make yourself believe nor being sure that it would happen. No one would be able to point out on what would happen in future years to come. If you do see that this one would be a good tactive
then its up to yours whether you would be taking such action or not.Just make it sure that you are really be able to bare up with the risk for whatever decisions you would be taking.
The current top 10 consists of 30% of stables. If we don't consider ETH or BTC, that leaves only five coins that have a very large capitalization. It seems to me that if you want to get more profits, you better choose coins with smaller capitalization than top 10. For example XMR or Aptos. The main thing is that the project should be reliable, and when it starts to grow, it will grow with the others.

The odds of Inter vs Napoli is look interesting, I don't know how Internazionale being favorite to be winner than Napoli. Because when we look how the Napoli peformance for this session, is look not fair when the odds are leaning toward to them. which this preference, I do not doubt to bet to Napoli, because from 5 match are never lost and very convincing to continue the peformance on the next match.

So how about you?, are you still convincing to Inter?

This is probably the most expected match of all today. I also think Napoli will win this game. They have a great statistic - 13 wins and only 2 draws. What's interesting is that Inter don't have a single draw this season. Which may indicate that they will either win or lose tonight. But judging by Napoli's results, I'm guessing Inter won't win.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 03, 2023, 07:13:46 PM
It looks like AC Milan has the potential to lose several of its players, Stefano Pioli has confirmed Divock Origi is still out due to a muscle injury he suffered during the training camp in Dubai United Arab Emirates, during the break for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Junior Messias and Alessandro Florenzi are both still out. Now Cedra is joined by Ante Rebic and Fode Ballo-Toure.

Thus, the total AC Milan players who will be absent in this match are 5 people. milan should get full points in their first match after the world cup break, i think milan is able to give their best game so as not to lose points against Salernitana
Obviously that's not good news for Milan ahead of the match against Salernitana. I don't think Milan will beat Salernitana easily in that game considering the two drew 2-2 last season. However, this season I think Milan will actually win for that match considering the importance of 3 points in Napoli's chase at the top of the table.

Salernitana also not performed well in their last few matches, they are weak in defense so Milan will need to take advantage of them in tomorrow's match. Milan needs to keep the point distance between Napoli at this time, otherwise it will be increasingly difficult for Milan to defend its title. So victory is certainly expected for Milan even though Salernitana is playing at home.

Milan must continue to reap wins to remain competitive with Napoli. Traveling to Salernitana headquarters, the Rossoneri are of course very favored, but unfortunately Stefano Pioli doesn't have many options because many of his players are still struggling with injuries. But even so, three points are what Pioli must bring home. Because as defending champion Milan is required to defend the Scudetto, even though it looks very heavy at least Milan cannot just give up. I'm sure Milan will win against Salernitana.
The fact that Milan can compete with Napoli is a big word. This season Napoli has no competition in Serie A. But about the fact that Milan must win the Salarentina to try to increase the gap from Juventus, Lazio and Inter, I agree. But we should not forget that the opening games often end unexpectedly.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 02, 2023, 03:59:45 PM
PSG's loss to Lens was their first defeat of the season. Without Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr, Mbappe seemed to feel something was missing and also proved that he relied on both of them.
but PSG's defeat to Lens without Lionel Messi and Neymar, this defeat is the first defeat in all competitions since March 20 last year, and for a difference of 4 points in my opinion it is not easy for Lens because for the next game Lionel Messi and Neymar will play again, and continue their unbeaten record.

The playing of Neymar and Messi did have a considerable impact on PSG's performance, but in my opinion PSG's defeat to Lens was not a defeat because Lens was too good. We can see from the game statistics that PSG actually dominated the game from various sides, including from the chance side. Lens has 10 attempts and 4 of them are shots on goal. Meanwhile at PSG, they had 16 attempted shots and 6 of them were shots on goal. From these statistics we can conclude that PSG wasted too many important chances they had.
PSG had more chances than Lens, but did not have the players to take those chances. The star attack did not work, or rather Mbappe alone could not play well in the attack against the strong defense of Lens. Which shows that PSG is very dependent on the top players and without them loses to an ordinary club. By the way Lance is now only 4 points behind PSG.
1415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 02, 2023, 11:14:14 AM
You have no other option. I joke about the whalecumulators, but what else can we plebs do? Buy the dip, and HODL! You do not want to end up empty handed on the next cycle
Buy and HOLD...!!!
Two syllables that we often hear in investment advice in bitcoin, scientifically people think so because bitcoin is the best investment at the moment, besides that bitcoin is also the best asset in the long term for us to save. We also have to pay attention to a few things, buy when there is a decline and don't panic when the market experiences a fairly severe correction, the current bitcoin period is entering a sideway cycle, meaning that the resistance point is still there.

If you are someone who is a big believer in bitcoin then there is no need to identify a dips but all you need to think about is how to enter the market and collect some bitcoins in case of a dips.
So far, it is not clear that the market is entering a sideways phase. But I agree with you that now is a good opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin. Even if the price falls even lower, for example by half, it will be an even better opportunity to buy more bitcoins. It's still a year and a half away from halving. Until that time, you need to accumulate as many coins as possible.
1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: January 01, 2023, 09:11:19 PM
A Lot of damages have been done to Bitcoin in 2022, which is partly due to the economic woes of the world and high inflation plaguing global markets among other factors. The Crypto has been holding its ground tightly above the low of June 2022.

My question is, will Bitcoin hold the rest of this year above the low of June at 17625.00 or the level will be breached before 2023?
Now that it is 2023, of course we have seen how Bitcoin is doing. Late 2022, Bitcoin price looks very stable at $16k to $20k. There are no big price spikes in 2022. It is possible that in 2023 there will be new surprises with higher price pumps. I think this will happen from next April. However it doesn't hold up well, and there will be higher dumps after that. Some people say this is part of the process towards the 2024 bull run.
It seems to me that in early 2023 the price could easily fall to the low of 2022. So far, only the order number in the year has changed, but the external factors have not yet changed. Right now I see no reason for bitcoin to start rising as the new year begins. It seems to me that a sideways movement at the beginning of the year would already be a good sign. I expect accumulation in 2023. Maybe in the second half I will think about growth.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 01, 2023, 08:28:40 PM
The most interesting match of today is Lance and PSG. Lance is not bad this season and not far behind PSG. The difference is only 7 points. That is the match between the two strongest clubs in the French league. It is interesting that PSG will not play Neymar and Messi, so many people doubt that PSG will win this game. It seems to me, too, that it could be a draw here.
The fact that the team is not the two most important factor players makes me suspicious about this match result. On the other hand, I want to watch Mbappe alone, we don't know how it will be. Although there are shortcomings, I do not expect a loss from PSG. Frankly, I don't expect an easy win. Neymar is suspended, I know that, what was Messi's situation?
Judging from the current line-up and the bench registered in this match, there is no Messi's name there because he will only return after the new year and the time does not allow him to play now even though he is already in Paris.
But now it will be even more interesting, I think without the presence of Messi and Neymar, will PSG still be able to get 3 points.
The first half so far is very intriguing. Lance was able to score a quick goal, but Psg answered just as quickly. Now the score is 2-1, but the second half is still ahead. I also think that PSG will not win this match, although they can shoot as well as Lance. For me, this game, as expected, is really interesting. The teams are attacking, there are already a lot of goals. I hope the game will be no less interesting.

On this forum interacts with a huge number of people, some leave, some come, so there will always be those who will be sure that using the Martingale strategy can make money.

In my opinion those who understand that this is not the case should explain to such gamblers that they are mistaken in this strategy.

How many strategies have I used, but none of them proved to be good in the long run. You may or may not be lucky, but you should only play for fun.
I agree with you that gambling for most people, almost everyone, can not be a permanent source of income, but should be as an entertainment, to distract from the daily grind. I have heard about the Martingale strategy, but I think it is very difficult for most people. In general any strategy in the casino, where the probability is almost always 50/50, will not work after a while.

1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: January 01, 2023, 10:51:37 AM
What guarantees we have btc not going very low like 100$ ??
Can btc go Even like 50$
Becouse everybody knows that Market Will crash hard soon very bearish out look now for btc
If today btc start falling what price is good to buy ?
It can fall to 1000$ or lower why not ? What's stop btc to fall down like 20$-50$ ?
actually there are no guarantees, everyone has their own speculation, for now it is likely that btc will continue to fall, but it will not reach $ 50, for some people who have a lot of capital this is the right time to invest in btc , because in my opinion the price of btc is not will fall further from the current price.  Cool

Yes, there is no guarantee, but for bitcoin to drop to such a low, we need a cause, and I can't think of any reason for bitcoin to drop that much. In my opinion, that will never happen and I dare to tell OP about it. As soon as bitcoin drops to $10k, people will rush to the season, and just like that, bitcoin price will sustain above $10k, there will even be a giant Fomo causing bitcoin to skyrocket.
Of course, if bitcoin falls to $100, it will most likely happen because of the scam bitcoin, as it was for example with LUNA. But in the case of bitcoin this is impossible, so $100 will never happen. But what about if bitcoin falls to 10k, and immediately buyers will have fomo, I doubt it. Most likely everyone will wait for the price to go even lower, but they're unlikely to wait.
