With economic troubles; i think buying the ticket is a good idea; the super eagles will have lots of fans to jeer them up as they take on Sao Tome; hopefully security stands firm and the Eagles give an excellent account of themselves too

I still don't think that would even make the Super Eagles get a comfortable win in that encounter because if you see the way the Super Eagles play against teams that their ranking are very far from the Eagles you would be disappointed because at this level I feel the Super Eagles should be at the top of their game, like making opponents suffer in the field of play and make every home game a fortress, not minding the stadium but all the stadiums we have in this country.
Banging in goals display of skills and also sending a message to all other African countries if not the European countries that the Eagles have arrived.
I feel bad sometimes when we play out a draw or a goal to nil win to countries that we're suppose to trash more than 2 goals to nil, you've to see the Eagles struggling...like for how long? Will free ticket bring back those glorious days?
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 10, 2023, 12:57:21 AM
The champions league is about to kick off and the domestic champions PSG will begin their struggling all over again because I don't see them being one of the top competitors in the UCL from season to season.
Now they have no Messi and Neymar Jr on the team but just Mbappe that's trying every possible means to leave the club, the club don't have anything to offer to players, not just players but great players. Don't be surprised if Lens do better than them in that competition by reaching or beating some of those the teams that have knocked out PSG in that competition. I wonder what they (PSG) have in store for us this season.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 10, 2023, 12:46:33 AM
When I hear some talks about Madrid being the strongest or the team that have best young talents (which is true, that's in the la Liga) I just smile because I don't see anything special about Madrid and I still believe that with the absence of Benzema that team can't get more goals than they did last season and in the champions league they won't be a threat.
It's yet being a special club caused by madrid was always relying on 1 player. The club played average like last season. There's no something special about that.
I don't even see impressive performances came from the players other than bellingham. Madrid could not always rely on him.

With Vinicius Jr on that team it doesn't even seem to be the way it was when they had Benzene, because they both have that understanding than with Bellingham on the mix and if care is not taken Vinicius Jr won't be on the spot light and it will surely affect them because when the runs isn't coming the goals and attack won't be effective, it will only be one man running himself out.
Bellingham is one kid that needs to be led by someone with enough experience like I said earlier, if not let Madrid just get ready to miss out on titles this season.

Quote
Ancellotti has joselu as a new striker but this guy was still being very far from my expectation. I thought that if madrid could do better than this. Bellingham was attacking midfielder but ancellotti says that he has found new benzema.  Cheesy
Relying upon attacking midfielder to play as good as the pure striker is a big deal took by madrid. Joselu shall be feeling shame seeing how bellingham was always helping the club so much.

If you are the coach what would you have done?
The club did let him (lack of funds in the transfer window, I think) get what he wants so he had to improvise and don't blame Joselu, Madrid is full of too much expectations and if you can't keep up then you end up in the bench or somewhere nobody can even interview you.
I just hope Bellingham do more for Madrid, if not the board would be looking for a replacement come January.

Quote
True but madrid was unwilling to spend a lot of money for him.

Madrid are still eying Mbappe that's why they didn't put much effort to get Kane and they shouldn't forget that Madrid is Madrid, when they finally get him (Mbappe) he can even be at his worse so no player should forget that the expectations in Madrid is beyond repair.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 10, 2023, 12:25:00 AM

I don't expect England to even play out a draw in this encounter because they're the favorite and the 3 Lions have all they needed to come out victorious with all 3pt, imagine them struggling to win against the Ukraine national team. It was as if both teams are of the same strength, well I'm judging base on the kind of world class players the 3Lions have and they couldn't dominate.
When I see the England team score just a goal or two in a game that they ought to score more than 3 goals it just reminds me of the France team, and is annoying to gambling investors as the case maybe.
I just believe they (England) have a plan in their next match and not to end in a draw.
I alot of people are very annoyed with the result of this game cause they've made people that bet on them to lose money, I didn't expect them to have such performance as well, they've got a squad full of top talents and it should be very easy to win against the Ukraine team but they really struggled and managed to equalize unlike England, what I expect from them is to be leading with about two goals from the first half and even though Ukraine scored the opener, a come back should be hard due to the quality players they have.
However I'm very impressed with how the Arsenal left back player Zinchenko represented his country he played very brilliantly and help them score the opener, it's so nice how he's passed from Mancity under Pep Guardiola to Arteta at Arsenal and has developed into a very fine player.

The issue with this England team is too much of hyping and they easily underrate teams that they know quite alright that they'd beat without introducing some of their big names on the mix.
Too bad for the 3 Lions and with this kind of play or should I say behavior towards lower rank team, I feel it will have to cost them when the time comes to showcase what they have.
And kudos to Ukraine for tireless efforts in hold England to a draw, it wasn't easy to face a team with so much talent and still set a match with them, I can't say more than congratulations to the Ukraine national team.
1405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 09, 2023, 11:57:08 PM
The market has a way of playing tricks on investor and traders but they hardly find it to be true, is just that they love the way the system is.
They can see the price of Bitcoin collapsing and they still have hope that in the next 2 days if I should say, that it will rise to the highest peak. And some crazy predictions has its parts to play and is some how confusing many or leading them wrong.
I can't really tell on my own if prediction has favoured many investors or traders in a long run, like they use each form of prediction to get something much profitable, like do they gain than loss?
1406  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Blazed alive? on: September 09, 2023, 11:46:31 PM
I was just viewing default trust members on Bitcointalk and suddenly I discovered one ex member called Zepher, he has passed away, RIP. Then I discovered another member called Blazed. As I see, you guys tag people with high trust rating, those who left the forum and those who passed away. When I checked Blazed's profile, it seems he is still in DT list but October 27, 2020 is the last time he was active. When I viewed his profile, he has never mentioned that he left the forum, also, when I saw his trust rating, he didn't have any trust tag that would mention that he has passed out or is not active anymore.

As it seems, he was one of the most active and trusted member of this forum, I have no idea why the fact that he left the forum went unnoticed. Has anyone any idea how is he doing? Is he alive and doing well? Just wondering.

Rest in peace to the fallen hero(s) of Bitcointalk, would love to see some of them in this forum, how they contribute and all that.
Blazed on the other hand I don't really know him but have you contacted him of late?
He could still be alive (which is what I pray for) and just felt like letting the Forum be some time like taking a long rest off the Forum, who knows?
He couldn't have mentioned the main reason for leaving the Forum without being noticed because he never mentioned it to anyone on the forum that he was going to join, same as you not knowing how people join the Forum that's the same way you won't know when they'd leave.
Would have loved to see much of him on this Forum and he has a good rep on this Forum for you to think of him this deep. I just hope he's fine. Really nice of you looking out for him.
1407  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alts of scammer "buyingtechnow" on: September 09, 2023, 11:30:46 PM
Your suggestion is like go and check deep into their history, by any means find something which can be accused as plagiarism then you will be easily get the accounts banned LOL.
I think that's a wrong reason to be in the forum.

It would be damn hard to even go deeper for more evidence as the case maybe be, I mean that's a lot of evidence the guy has gotten so far, or are you saying that his evidence is not evidence enough to get eyes to be on those accounts? That's a lot of work you know 😅.
And plagiarism is something most members find hard to avoid .

Forum does not ban scammers or ponzi promoters.

If the Forum doesn't ban scammers and ponzi promoters, is it that the Forum is promoting the ponzi promoters and scammers? Just asking though.
But on the other hand, I must say those guys (scammers & ponzi promoters) are like virus, they can be at a place... Is really hard to fight them off this area since they know they can catch some novice or victims.
1408  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: September 09, 2023, 11:12:44 PM
You do not have to wait, and you do not need to get permission in order to answer the interview questions.. and post your post in this thread.
Well, that's not what OP says. Unless something changed in the meantime and its free for all now.

Is good you made it clear because it seems that the OP doesn't have any meanful questions to ask that's why he hasn't updated this thread which I doubt.
I still believe the OP has a bucket loads of questions to ask but he hasn't find out time to renew his questions and I'll still say Mr JJGee should give him (the OP) time since it has gotten to his notice.

Quote
I don't know about the others, but I was reading each and every interview while there was some selection and only people with some history (like you) here had the privilege to give answers

That eventually changed when we got bunch of pretty much unknown members joining and I honestly didn't care to find more about someone I didn't even know exists on forum before and whom I never exchanged a single sentence so I eventually stopped checking this thread.

That's to say the Forum has a lot of space to accomodate different people from different countries and you have get use to it by getting to know the new faces that flood the forum and things do change when the crowd are much, some adjustments need to be made like you can reapply and answer some of those questions again just to keep this thread alive, maybe when the OP has new questions .

Until Carlos Ancelotti gets a new striker I don't think they'd go far in the champions league even in some domestic competitions. If they're seeing Jude Bellingham as the replacement for big Benz I think they're making a mistake, he's still young and such responsibility is just too much for him as a young lad, because injury can take him out anytime soon and he might even drop form due to fatigue.
Don't get me wrong on this, Bellingham is a good talent and he needs to be taken into the battlefield with an experience player and if Madrid had gotten Kane I feel it would have been a good fit for the business.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: September 09, 2023, 10:03:28 PM
It would be funny if a club played a game and didn't want to win.
England tried a few chances but in the end Ukraine also played very well in this match which made England unable to develop their attacks despite several attempts and substitutions but they failed to maximise with their dominance.
However, they are still comfortable in their current position and it is quite interesting to see the competition for the second place I guess because for the first place, England is definitely there but for the second place, Italy and Ukraine still have a chance to prove themselves.

I don't expect England to even play out a draw in this encounter because they're the favorite and the 3 Lions have all they needed to come out victorious with all 3pt, imagine them struggling to win against the Ukraine national team. There is the same story for any player who gets old, usually, when they are old they have to leave the teams to the Saudi or other Arabian teams to earn more money, or the other option is to stay in the teams they like and get returned there.
We know Hugo Lloris has been playing in Tottenham for years and now I think he just wants to stay there and get retired in the next season.

You can't really say if the shot stopper Lloris is going to retire at Spurs because he really wants to make a move out from the club with him having that patience to be at the club till now is something I have to call respect and love for the club.
To me I think is time he take a bow or maybe end his career at the Saudi side but I was surprised why they haven't called on him to come and join any team yet, well let's see if by January he'll leave but I still think he can be of help to the Spurs side.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigeria Premier League/Players Discussion Thread on: September 08, 2023, 02:08:22 AM
Ohh great I guess this postponement came after I hard that commentary that cut my attention to this discussion and this is a good one for the clubs that seem to be underperforming before the postponement of matches because this will give them extra time to train well and also to be able to work on their lapses before the resumption of the league.

Good luck to all the team and we look forward to seeing them in good faith and with the best performances when the league resumes.

I don't understand how this is a good news when the league is suppose to kick off at a particular date and the next thing is the postponement of the start of the season.
If other teams or let me some teams are not ready to me is not suppose to be a problem for organizers, a date is a date and is killing to performance of the league in a way that is some how not giving our league a good standard to even compete with other African leagues, to me is not a welcome development at all.

FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifying Match Argentina vs Ecuador. At the end of the first half the game is tied 0-0. Argentina is stronger team than Ecuador. Argentina has shown surprise in the World Cup. Argentina almost won the match against Ecuador. The final result of today's match will either be a draw or Argentina will win. I think Argentina have more chances to win today's match. What do you think, which team can win in the end?

I don't know why the first leg in the qualifiers for Argentina or any team who's facing Argentina has to always end in a draw or the world cup winners has to struggle to get a 1 nil win.
Is it that they're being too soft at first and on the second game they (Argentina) will become strong and demolish their opponent?
Is so funny to see Messi and his teammates play so  dull (in getting goals I mean) at first and one would think they're going to lose after being the ones dominating the game from the beginning.
Ecuador are also good but they can't withstand the champions, is best they get a draw because from what I'm seeing the away team(Ecuador) want to get a point in this encounter since they can't get in the skin of the Argentines.
But I'm not sure that would last till FT.

1417  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: September 07, 2023, 05:48:52 AM
I personally think some of the questions suck (or are a bit outdated) and recently we have been getting pretty shitty answers to the questions, so I am not sure how helpful it is even to read through the answers anymore, since what are the one liner answers that do not really say very much except.. I like bitcoin and perhaps this or that shitcoin and I got into bitcoin because my friend told me (and without many specifics in regards to whatever the various one-liners even means in terms of maybe showing some personal details that might be relatable and/or interesting.. like going on a date with a low charasmatic partner who cannot even carry his/her end of the conversation).

But honestly speaking, those who wants to engage on the interview should inbox the OP which is quite true because there's no way you can get the interview done without meeting him and he must take your link and add up it to the other participants who've enrolled in the interview.
Taking permission before taking ones property means you respect the person so they need to do the needful before partaken in the interview.
The questions are outdated no doubt because I believe those questions and the interview itself has been here before I even joined this Forum.
The best is for you Mr JayJuanGee to PM the OP to upgrade some of those, if not all the questions to make it look refreshed so that the fun can begin again.
Hope that's suppose to be so Mr JayJuanGee, don't you think so?🤔
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 07, 2023, 01:55:19 AM
Maguire and Evans only were used in that big match because Ten Hag did not have better players to send in. It is so funny to see they are lack of good central defenders to use or even only acceptable to use as substitutions after they spent much money for transfers since a retirement of Sir. Alex Ferguson years ago.

Seriously is funny because it seems like the Man Hag has no idea of what he's doing at that point, the plan he came with was snatched away from him by the way Arteta mobilized his boys to run down the players of UTD and they can't play more than they have already because the Gunners was relentless in pursuit for that 3 point and I so much enjoyed how Arsenal took control in that encounter.
I was asking why Evans? They went for a player they thought wasn't good enough to control the defense as if then and now they couldn't get a better defender as a replacement. As it is, Maguire is still important to that united squad.

Quote
Spending money without solid strategy did not work for Manchester United and they must change it as soon as possible. Ten Hag came and brought some hope signal for them but their transfers did not change too much. They also wasted this summer to change it and will need next transfer windows like next winter or next summer to have considerable change. Their squad can be improved with better transfer strategy but it won't immediately help them to gain success on field.

They can't improve with this poor form I'm seeing now, they won't do better even if they get the best players in the world because the team lack understanding and they hardly play as a team who wants to win or better still the club is having a serious locker room problem, the atmosphere isn't nice at all.
No amount of transfer window that would come that they would do well, they don't even know how to get players anymore. They're ready to be in pursuit of just one player till the window closes, that's not how to go about business.

Quote
They can see Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal had to spend a few years for star players to familiarize with each other before they can play well together. With not good transfer strategy like now, Manchester United will waste some more seasons before they can start to lift titles.

Imagine, United has never been this poor in transfer window but see how terrible they're now.
As of then Manchester United are always top in spending to get quality players and teams you mentioned up there would be struggling to get a player but now things have turn around. Who could believe that Arsenal could cough out £105m for one player? I feel they (Manchester United) should forget about finishing 4th because is not going to be easy for them.

Everybody has a plan when doing something and I believe that investors have their ways of doing things when it comes to planning on how to get to their goal.
Those who don't have a strategy during trading or investing is like someone who doesn't have a plan to move forward.
I'd say if you're learning (how to trade or investing) and you don't know your ways around the business with the amount of money you have to buy Bitcoin and all that, is best you seek for advise from those who are there before you, I think I'd mention a name here zasad@ I believe he has so much to offer in terms of investment, and there are many of them in this Forum.
