481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 11, 2024, 02:34:09 PM
I hope we are not going to Ivory Coast to mess up in this AFCON, I just hope that our group shouldn't make we the supporter to start using our calculators at the end of the group stage. The Super Eagles have what it takes to qualify from that group and I'm not talking about winning the AFCON yet because we need to take it one step at a time if not is going to hurt us badly.
I wonder the kind of formation we're going to use because it seems we don't have any formation that favors us, today we use 4-4-2 tomorrow we use 3-4-3, like what is José Peseiro planning for we the supporters? Are we even sure the Super Eagles are ready?🤔
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 11, 2024, 02:00:13 PM
Quite sometimes now i have been active in the gambling section and have pick interest to start gambling i have gone through lots of material in both the forum, i have seen that I can control my emotion as well as controlling my finance this includes;

  • Not involving myself in a revenge gambling
  • Not chasing profit after lost
  • Not involving oneself into compulsive gambling
  • Not solely replying on every game to be 100 percent correct
  • Not hoping that gamble is guaranteed
  • Not gambling with all my income or salaries
  • Among all, gambling for fun and not to enrich oneself

The point is my husband doesn't know that i have been secretly gambling and involving myself with gambling discussions and the rest, So, this morning when i woke something in me keeps telling me i should let him know to understand my involvement  to practice gambling.

Does this worth telling him or not please i need you collective ideas.

OP your topic made me pause for 5mins before typing and you're trying to take permission from other members on the Forum on how to go about business in your home or what? If you know engaging yourself in gambling will cause you your marriage then why pick interest in the first place?
All those things you made mentioned above are all what a good gambler needs to be called a gambler, if you ask me. You on the other hand don't seem like one who have started gambling in any way.
Lemme say the truth OP,  this story doesn't look real to me. And many would agree with me that we're all tired of all these cooked up stories.
How would you tell me you started gambling and your husband is not aware, or are you telling us that you haven't lost before, that you always win your bet and that's why you finding it hard to quit?🙄🤔🤔.
Let's be real for one sec, nobody gambles for fun, if you do then your aim is never to make profit just to lose. And to wrap it all, you're the best person to advise yourself because nobody advised you to join gambling in the first place (that's of what you saying is even real).

Last night in the Carabao Cup Liverpool got a narrow win against Fulham which I'm some how disappointed in the Fulham team who got the lead and later they lost concentration and Liverpool who wasn't doing well took advantage and won the game.
Fulham would have won the game last night because the made Liverpool to be in a confused state and you would agree with me that the reds could not play like they used to, wide play and causing opposition to fall back. Fulham just unlocked the secret of beating Liverpool which is giving them a man to man marking, hold the ball and even play those long balls like they used to do and taking control of the game, if Fulham continue doing that Liverpool would have lost it all in that game and they'll start looking for a different way of taking charge of the game and surely they'd be making silly mistakes. That was what Fulham did but they couldn't keep up that was when they lost control and lost the game.

It was a lucky game for Liverpool last night, how I wish Arsenal had played the way Fulham did against Liverpool I believe the Gunners would have won those two meetings they had but the Gunners lack so many things in that team, no striker who's hunger for goals and the midfield needs someone who's more physical to pair with Rice, but we all know how poor they played out against Liverpool.
Fulham's defense was very shakey last night and if they had gotten a stronger defense line I think Liverpool wouldn't have gotten that equalizer and even to win the game, let's see how the second leg would be like.
484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are not Scums.... Learning is a Process and it's progressive. on: January 11, 2024, 07:11:06 AM
Firstly no one ever said all newbies were scum. I believe every single member here was once a newbie who gradually grew to their respective ranks. The kind of post you make here  on this forum often determines how members would see you.
This forum is not a place where you would get some warm and nice treatment from all members. If you don't like the way you are addressed as a newbie, work on the kind of post and discussion you make or you make it your motivation to rank up.

I don't think the kind of post you make that's how the other high ranked members would treat you, some users here have this itchy behavior of looking down on others who just started in the Forum and they don't see those newbies as people who are here to learn and they (some high ranked members) don't think the newbies deserve a little bit of respect.
Is just their own way of being too hard on people and nothing can change their behavior towards newbies, they see the newbies as people who have nothing to offer to the Forum which is extremely bad.
485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are not Scums.... Learning is a Process and it's progressive. on: January 10, 2024, 09:43:11 PM
OP you have to know that the "newbie" you talk about is just a rank and nothing more. Not letting what people say about you on the Forum get to you is the only way to get past it. If you have questions ask and you'd have your answer. Nobody is perfect in the Forum we are all here to learn and also pass on information to other members who knows nothing about it, what you're passing through every other person went through the same thing before getting to where they are now so don't feel intimidated but don't ask questions that you know the answers to, that's what makes some newbies look stupid.

I agree with what you hav said and even I have been through those embarassing situation where we were made made of, criticized while getting out doubts clarified.

But, it's all about shaping the user behaviour here and treating the newbie with same amount of respect which a Hero or Legendary member can get, because it the way how the message is put across and often it has been rude.

Those moments are not suppose to be forgotten that easy and it made some of us to understand that without those criticism we won't have put more effort in all we have been doing, we won't have gotten to this very moment, it made us stronger.
Sometimes with all these harsh words it will make us act like we don't know what other uswrs are talking about in a thread, is like you have to be careful so that those high ranked members won't backlash you, like you have to be mindful of what you say because you wouldn't want to offend those who are above you in ranking, is just fear that's making most of it to happen to us.

Many will say to continue in the forum you get to build a thick skin, whereas the most high ranked members are well intellectual with Bitcoin and it's technology so they expect much from you signing here in this forum. Get acquainted with the rules, know your do and don't, always keep ear to listen and ask very well constructive questions this will alone attract you to their trust list. As a newbie it is best to do more of reading and learning than so many posts or spamming.

Getting a thick skin helps a lot but it takes time for some members to adapt and some high ranked members too don't have the knowledge some newbies have about Bitcoin but base on "I'm a Hero or Legendary" they won't let the newbies express themselves, not all high ranked members does that.
I won't blame newbies who don't do the reading and learning but post more reason is because they're desperate, talking about the newbies. They're trying to make a statement in the Forum and to be recognized that's why they post more (create threads) and sometimes they need to rank up so creating topics might give them the merit to rank up. The thing is everybody wants to be at the top.

Not really know if i can buy or go for other alt coins

I really don't know why these type of questions always comes up especially with these ranks, newbies and Jr. Member but mostly newbies. It sometimes shows how unserious the question and probably the user is and no matter how much answers or solutions given they won't show any sign of going for what they asked.
Like is really hard to see such questions and later we see that same users coming up with a thread to say they've bought and now they're doing perfectly well and all that, is just not coming only complains and same questions.

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough in the EFL cup. Ouch! Cole Palmer missed a sitter. Chelsea just cant get things right this season.

Four good chances to be converted by Cole Palmer in the first but he failed to do that, it was sad to see how he never had them anymore,  finally its a moral lesson for everyone.

You have to blame the coach who is in control if they can't get a good results from this season also.
Pochettino Is also a better coach  than Potter who sank the blues in a deep oceans and wasn't able to get them back up. He will not he sacked but should take his job seriously. Arsenal needs a hit man to score for them.

Honestly that was the worst I have seen from Cole Palmer this season, I wasn't sure if it was him all these while in that game, like what really went wrong with him in that game? I hate to see him play as a false 9 and Pochettino is good at gambling with games, I mean how can you have a number 9 (Broja) and you're trying to do some silly experiment? No matter how small the competition is he (Pochettino) was suppose to come out with his best. Why on Earth was Broja on the bench? This was the same gambling he normally does when he was at Tottenham.
If Chelsea continues like this I don't see them going far in any competition they're in.
Fine Palmer made a huge mess by missing 4 good chances but as a coach he was suppose to take out Madueke bring in Mudryk right from the first half, and maybe bring in Broja and take out Palmer and I believe he would have gotten a goal to level the game up. Well is just a shame, the Blues played pretty bad and if they play the way they did against Middlesbrough I don't see them winning their next EPL game.
For the record Pochettino is some how letting us know that he's confused and without him knowing what to do is like Potter in disguise.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a way to get Timo Werner on loan and I believe they're doing this because of the absence of Son in that squad but getting the former Chelsea man isn't the best move to me, is better they get a player who has a better performance in England other than getting Werner who struggled to get his form at Chelsea.
If I'm to be the manager of Spurs I'd fight to get the signature of Ivan Tony as he's the hot cake in the transfer market at the moment, Tottenham should try as much as they can to beat Arsenal for that player.
Son has been the key player since Harry Kane left and his (Son) absence would really affect the squad now that they have bigger fixtures at hand and they need the squad to be active in winning games. So getting Werner isn't a better addition to the squad, Timo Werner is not lucky in England and I feel he'd struggle at Spurs if this deal pull through.

Some of these duplicated topics should not be given extra day on the Forum, if such is seen on the Forum is best to delete it without the owner of that topic knowing about it. Some of these members knows about these same topic being open but they still go ahead just for their personal aim which I'm not talking about because we all know why they do such (that's open similar topics).
In some cases when you ask them to lock the thread, they pretend not to get the warning but let it be, so I'd advise if mods sees duplicated threads or topics it should be deleted without warning because those who open same topics won't say they haven't seen similar topics in the Forum before but they go ahead to do what they have in mind.

Manchester United have been going through hard times since the beginning of this season and we all know that but for ETH coming to say that the pressure on the team that's affecting the players is something I don't really understand. As a coach if you win a game you take the glory and if you lose you take the fall and try to sit up, to me as it stands I see that pressure to be on ETH and he knows that but he's telling the public that the pressure is on the players that's why they perform poorly.
Now we're in the transfer window and if funds are given to this coach Erik ten Hag I believe he would try to get new players and he thinks pressure won't affect the new guy? Very funny.
The coach need to work on his boys because the more he keeps pushing the pressure that's on him on the boys it won't change anything but it shows that he's not capable to take the fall if his team doesn't perform well, today he can't give any excuse that's if he loses to Wigan.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 07:23:17 AM
Is been a long while since we saw Manchester United in action and against Wigan is it still going to be another complain in the FA CUP till the kick off of the EPL? UNITED will be without their shot stopper Onana and this will give the second choice a chance to prove himself and maybe the best option for ETH, that's if he'd like to drop Onana when he gets back from AFCON.
Wigan are a lower division team in this encounter against Man UTD but that doesn't mean they won't make it hard for the red devils to struggle as usual, this game is suppose to be a training session for Manchester United ahead of the EPL game. But it seems like they might struggle to get things together and to me if Man UTD don't have full control over this game and dominate it from the first half to the end then I don't see anything positive coming out from them this season any more.

Very hard to see Bitcoin price surpass $45k since last year and is still having same effect this year, $44k now and I'm expecting it to go back to $43-42k any time soon...

Yeah but it does not matter, if BTC prices might be stuck between $45k and $40k or maybe a broader range of $35k to $55k.. we are moving around within a zone.. and yeah, there is a certain amount of ongoing UPpity BTC price pressures, but still I doubt that we are even outside of the don't wake me up zone, even if we get back above $46k and even if we make it as high as $55k.

Surely some folks are going to get excited in the supra $50k prices and up to $55k, but personally, I am still considering those as kind of given prices and part of our current range.. so yeah, you are even more of a party poop, perhaps bear wannabe, that you are considering supra $45k to potentially be difficult to achieve or even to suggest that anything between $40k and $46k would be anything except nearly pure noise.

Well it will be a shame if we're still seeing Bitcoin price not getting up to $50k before February so we only need to expect it to start making that fast movement to be more than $50k. But from what I'm seeing I don't see the market price going forward without coming back to $40k anytime soon.
What should be the question is what has been holding it up to this moment without getting past $45-46k and still going forward?
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is just happened on the Bitcoin Market? on: January 07, 2024, 09:50:50 AM
This could cause a big scare for investors because it's suppose to be more than what we're seeing, talking about the market price. With the high expectations many people had as of last year that Bitcoin will get to $50k before end of December 2023 and we're having it struggling to surpass $45k till this very moment and is even getting worse to see it at $42-43k as of last 3-4 days. It seems like our expectations are not going to be as we wanted it to be, the market price have something different to offer this year, who knows it might drag us back to $30k before the end of this month.

Chelsea will host Fulham in the next match, will they be able to get through this week with a win and continue their previous 2 wins? or will they get another disappointing result by being defeated by Fulham?

If you talk about Chelsea is really hard to say if they'd win or not and same goes to Fulham but the main focus should be on Chelsea because they're the bigger boys but these days is like they should be classified as smaller team base on performance.
This season is very hard for the Blues to even get a draw talkless of a win, I'd say Fulham are going to do anything possible to get a win that's if Pochettino decide to do some wrong selection.
It is true that it is very difficult to predict every match that Chelsea will face. Chelsea's inconsistency this season has even caused me to lose a lot of bets. So I would rather miss the Chelsea match. The strange thing is that every time I miss it, it turns out that Chelsea actually gets a good result. Grin

If only head to head could be an indicator to predict the outcome of the match then clearly Chelsea would be favorit at this game. Chelsea will even host the upcoming match. So actually the reasons for favoring Chelsea are clear. But unfortunately Chelsea have been unpredictable since last season. Sometimes they get a positive trend within a few weeks. But then it was disappointing the following week. So we are always in a dilemma when facing Chelsea matches. Even Fullham is like that. They hit Arsenal in the last match very hard. Well that's a normal surprise. But it's enough to make those of us who bet on Arsenal really annoyed.

For now we just have to see Chelsea as a funny team that look serious but joke around on the field of play, is really sad for a team as Chelsea to be at this level. Is something that happens to every other team and I just hope for this madness to stop.
Fulham won another funny team (Arsenal) doesn't mean they can get a win against Chelsea, no matter how poor the Blues play I don't see Fulham winning them in that fixture, either they end it in a draw (which is my prediction) or Chelsea get all 3pt.
