Is true that they're good at messing up and for Arteta to be in this position he is at the table only means they have lost so many points and chances which isn't healthy for the club, if this continues it will only be when the fans start shouting for Arteta to be fired. If Arsenal mistakenly win the league I'd just say it's luck because they haven't shown any sign of improvement from last season, is like they're repeating same mistake and wishing to win the title.
As it is, City are topping the league that's if you add up those outstanding games (the points) which to me they'll win it, you know that Liverpool and the others have no chance of bringing the Citizens down, so is best for this Arsenal team to start hoping for other teams who are competing for the title to lose while they win their games.
Arsenal are just a heavy joke in England because why trying to prove your weight if you can’t keep up with the fierce competition up till the very end. I think Arteta thinks he still got time with the fans to get things done. The fans are tired of the whole trial and error method used by Arteta and if they go trophyless they’ll start calling for his sack. Now Arsenal have probably let the title slip away by loosing 6 crucial points, and we can now say Citizens and Liverpool will battle all out for it.

But will Liverpool be able to match the citizens who are now back in full shape, well time shall tell. I think Arteta’s work on this team can only help them maintain top 4 spot and not challenge for the league because they’re obviously out of the race, cause it’s obvious that they'll end up like last season, which is bottling the league, lol.

Very funny indeed, I never thought it will get to this state where Arteta still have this dying hope that with this trial and error like you said, that it will get the Gunners some where positive and I hate to say this, Arsenal might not make it to the champions league next season if they continue like this, losing games and feeling good about it.
Liverpool seems to be the next in line to compete with City but I'm not sure if they (Liverpool) can keep up when City start firing up. Manchester City have this pace that when they start is very hard to keep up.
We're forgetting something, one club that have surprised us this season talking about Aston Villa. They (Aston Villa) are not there to joke around like Arsenal, they can cause much damage to City and Liverpool if care isn't taken and feel it will happen that's if they keep on getting business done.
If Aston Villa continues to be victorious in their games I believe both Liverpool and Manchester City would be scared of playing them. And let's forget Arteta and his boys, they have nothing other than disappointment to offer.

At the moment,  Manchester City is far from the trophy and even though they are the defending champions they still will need to put in the effort if they ever want to retain the title just as you speculated which looks impossible to me and for sure Liverpool may not be able to sustain the forces for the entire season since it just via miracle that they are sustaining the number one spot up until now and if in the next couple of matches, Liverpool failed to win just as there did in the last match it will be a big downside for the club,  but if there be lucky to win in the next legs of the matches there will be able to attempt a possible win in the season with their current point in the leagues table.

But for Arsenal,  it is now clearly impossible for them to make a repeat of their last season's results this season and due to recent results they're now far from the first spots in any way for the remaining days of this season.

Man City are still in the race of retaining the title with them having 2 games at hand (if I'm not mistaken) that's just an advantage for the Citizens and we know how they are with those chances, City don't make mistakes when they have 2 life lines to get to the trophy and I can't even see Liverpool getting far in this title race.
Like you said is only a miracle that can happen for Klopp's boys to win the league and let's face it, this is the toughest round of the season because is like those teams who lost to the other teams won't make any mistake to lose twice, although we have teams that can't help it but lose twice (home & away).
In Arsenal's own situation I think is them that need that miracle you're talking about because to them they're still in the race but I feel they'd be having this impossible wish to come to past like let City, Liverpool and maybe Aston Villa to lose for them to win and top the table again or probably win the league.

I don't know what Arteta have for the fans this new year if is a brand new disguised disappointment we have to see again no one knows. All I want to see this second part of the season concerning Arsenal is that winning ability to be there, the boys need to be consistent in everything they do.
Losing points and dropping out of the race for the EPL title isn't what the fans want and some crazy excuses from the manager, last year we got so many complains about VAR but to me I don't see those as excuses to why the Gunners lost most of their games.
This time chances need to be converted and Arteta need a real striker to make the wingers look serious in getting more of the ball in the opposition's box. To me Gabriel Jesus is not the striker the Gunners can rely on at this stage of the season.

No doubt that people called arsenal as a bottle club since it was always a missing opportunity to beat the easy team. Arsenal is going to repeat the same result like last season and im not doubting that there will by many haters are going to mocking this club.
The gunners will have no bullet at the end of season caused by arteta has used it all at the early till mid season. Im awaiting for another bad result from arsenal. The weak club just need to use parking bus to make sure this club to lose some points.

I see no reason for arsenal to win the trophy this season caused by manchester city and liverpool are coming back as the strongest contender to win the title this season. Arsenal is very weak right now.
The players have lost their motivation to play better. This is the main problem that is often occuring to the club that has no winning mentality. Arsenal is still very far from winning the competition.

I thought if it was too good to be true to happen. Arsenal will be breaking its own record again soon.

508  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects buyers and seller in payment in bitcoin on: January 02, 2024, 10:16:16 PM
If this is the first time is happening don't you think it will become a nom like it has come to stay and we might even be having a time to expect it to happen just like we're expecting the halving.
This issue is never a thing we say it will go, we need something more helpful to let us know that this is when it will end and will never happen again, because as it is I don't see anything tats stopping it from continuing.
So if BTC reaches $100k the fee will be half of what you're sending if care is not taken, is really disturbing honestly.
If we could pressure the developers to figure out a way, eventually someone will find a way. I personally believe that the best thing we could do regarding bitcoin fee's right now would be just not to use them, unless you absolutely have to, focus on something else, use something else, and that would drop the fee rate for sure when the usage drops.

What are you saying, put pressure on the developers to fix this congestion problem? I don't see how that's their fault or problem, and saying is best not to use them is really not in any way going to happen, do you know how many people who cherish the use of Bitcoin if that's what you mean.
Like someone (@milewilda) said that the high fee is coming back to normal and I pray it get to the normal fees we normally use to see, with Bitcoin getting to $45k and by chance surpass it I feel that would be the cause of it coming down, I just hope it gets back to normal.
509  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects buyers and seller in payment in bitcoin on: January 02, 2024, 11:11:17 AM
Hasn't this network congestion been there all these while? Or is it now that we're having a higher price of Bitcoin that's when it seems like is having effect on all transactions?
This is the first time, because there has never been another entity that "interferes" with the network like ordinals. Look at the transaction traffic chart throughout history, how do you see the big spike recently compared to the 2021's ATH session?: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactions.html#alltime
As I said before there is no direct correlation that high prices must result in high fee rates (in sats units). Network congestion can occur even if bitcoin is worth $1.

If this is the first time is happening don't you think it will become a nom like it has come to stay and we might even be having a time to expect it to happen just like we're expecting the halving.

510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 02, 2024, 10:55:44 AM
Real Sociedad will be getting their first game of the year against a less stronger side Alaves who hasn't been finding it easy in this campaign against the top teams in the la Liga table. Real Sociedad will eventually take advantage of the fact that they're the favorite between these two in this encounter, is going to be an easy one for the home side to stroll a little bit closer to Athletic Bilbao base on point.
Alaves might not be in good shape and the weaker side in this game tonight but that doesn't mean they won't try as much as they can to get a goal or 2 to put a little pressure on the host talking about Real Sociedad. I feel the first half might end in a draw and the second half can go to the host (Real Sociedad) since they're the stronger side.
The match against Alaves will clearly be Real Sociedad's match, firstly because Real Sociedad is the home team which will provide more advantages because it gets full support from the spectators, secondly, Real Sociedad's condition is much better than Alaves, which in five matches managed to get points even though it was dominated by a draw while Alavase actually suffered three defeats in a row which left Alaves only 3 points ahead of Celta Vigo who are in the relegation zone.
Alaves is a team that has difficulty scoring goals, so apart from betting on Real Sociedad on the money line, choosing no on both to score is also quite promising for making a profit, and the home team has a very big chance of winning.

Let me say it from a different angle on this game tonight, Real Sociedad is the bigger boys over Alaves we all know that and you said no both score on this encounter. What if we get to see something extremely different from what we expect like Alaves taking the lead at halftime and before 90'mins Alaves would still be hold on to their lead like 0-2, I know nobody would see that coming.
It would be an upset we need to expect in one of the big games in la Liga where a smaller team would beat the bigger team, so I won't write Alaves off like that, they have a fighting chance and with how the home side is being hyped I think is best to even give the visitors a win or a draw.

Sorry about the title. While reading some posts, I noticed that some campaign participants seem to be posting essays. Have you noticed the same, or is it just me? If you also notice this, do you think it's healthy for the forum?

Some members have this feeling that if they post something very long like inform of a text book that they can be merited, like it seems informative to them but they forget that it mustn't be like that, cut it short and give out the important part of the post. A short and simple post can pass the message without stressing the readers and many users on this Forum don't like reading much (long post), like having a long note as post (some can be informative no matter how long), they (the readers) see it as a waste of time.
And is not only campaign members, those who always do such even if they know the post won't generate traffic they still go ahead to do just to impress are also those that are not yet in a campaign.

The missed penalty by Salah is going to hunt the Reds in this game that's if they lose as they're playing 1-1, I thought Newcastle would be lacking behind at half time but they managed to escape the force of Liverpool in this encounter.
I feel this game might go in favor of the visitors and Klopp would still be the league leader at the moment, Newcastle can still make this game end 1-2 but the pressure of Liverpool is too much for them to handle and I started wondering why Liverpool didn't play the way they are playing against Manchester United and Arsenal, they would have gotten a better point to top the table but now they're struggling with Newcastle which I don't think it will be in their favor, it is either a draw or Newcastle win the game.

Salah got two penalties. the first penalty failed in the 22nd minute, and his second penalty was successful in the 86th minute. overall Salah played quite well scoring 2 goals in his 4-2 victory against newcastle united. and widened the gap at the top of the standings with 2nd place.

It was quite an outstanding performance for the Egyptian attacker (Salah) who had 2 goals to his name, the victory was just too easy if you ask me with Newcastle playing like a team who has lost focus in the game. I couldn't get what's their plan B when it was 3-1, they seem confused at some point, with this display I don't see them (Newcastle) as a hard side to play against in the EPL.
Topping the league with the first game of 2024 is really going to be a morela booster for the team and it seems Liverpool will be the only team to give City a run for their money this season and probably Aston Villa because as it is I see Aston Villa as a better side than the Gunners that's why they (Arsenal) didn't come out as a competitive side for the title.

Well thats from the case now because Newcastle have once again lost the game and Liverpool have indeed showed their class by actually securing a win of 4-2 which came as a surprise to me if you ask  me because the whole was looking as if their wasn't going to be much seeing that the first half ended with a single goal although Liverpool had a chance to make it 2 but am gladly that the penalty miss didn't come back to haunt them.

It would have been a disaster for Klopp that's if they had lost the game which I was hoping they would because the were dominating the game in the first half until they had that chance of converting that penalty. The Newcastle side has lost it all this season, I don't see them as one of those teams who almost won the league last season, their performance has been extremely poor if you ask me and I don't see them as a threat in the EPL in this very campaign. I just wish the coach doesn't get a sack letter anytime soon, it would be bad for him to be the first to be fired in this fresh year 2024, talking about Newcastle coach Eddie Howe.

Do you think there's an answer to this high rate of fee?
I don't think there's an answer but let's say there is an answer to all these issues going on, the question is how can we make it to be in place like to favor us, like before?

The only solution at a personal level is not to make low-value transactions. In another thread a fellow forum member claims to have done a $50 transaction paying a $15 fee. That's crazy and if I'm going to have to pay that fee I'm not going to send any transaction under $200.

On the other hand, we can not know for sure but I think the fees have to end up moderating because at some point the fashion of paying high fees to fill the blockchain with spam will end.

Is really going to be hard for those of us that have little to send like you said someone sent $50k and I can imagine the fee being $11k or $19.9k. I was even thinking it would be more effective when you have something like $500k and the fee would be higher but that doesn't matter if you have to do a higher transaction or not. This system is going to make many traders and investors to make decisions they never planned on making.
It's better it comes to an end before the end of this week because many are seriously crying for this issue to be resolved or come back to normal and if that happens I feel it will be a nice way to start up the new year 2024.

518  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have anyone heard about a platform called Adswage? on: January 01, 2024, 07:44:34 AM
If you're thinking about joining Adswage, I want to emphasize that it pays really well. I've been investing with them for over two months, and I currently have around 21 referrals, and we're all making good money.

How true is this testimony that you're giving us?
I am not forcing you to believe what I said. You joining the platform will add nothing to my account as Bitcointalk does not allow sharing of referral links also not joining will not reduce my earnings or affect my account. I am only here to correct the wrong impression some people are painting here out of sheer ignorance. I am still earning well on the platform. If you join and you don't get the rewards as they promised , I also encourage you to post it here. But just saying something is a scam out of complete assumptions is totally unacceptable. No one on this forum has joined the platform and complained they don't get the promised values.

Nah, you can't force me to believe you unless I choose to join and the platform can be legit who knows for awhile, you can be earning but that doesn't mean others can benefit from it as you are and you're right when you said if I join (which I won't) that is not adding nothing to your account.
Before these platform becomes strong they have to create that awareness to the public without getting anything out of place, letting people get all info they need to get about the platform. Well let those who choose to join do so and give us more feedback about it because for now it seems like you're the only one defending Adswage.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 01, 2024, 07:18:34 AM
This is the moment Liverpool have been waiting for since they boost their way into the top 4 of the EPL, seeing their closest threat fall behind yesterday, talking about Arsenal who lost to Fulham. Is going to be another opportunity for Klopp's boys to do the needful and I don't think their opponent can stop them in getting back their spot at the top of the table and not minding that Manchester City have games at hand.
Newcastle are not really doing anything to be seen as title contenders, to me they're seen as party crashers in the EPL, since they got eliminated from the UCL I don't see them as the Newcastle that was struggling to win the league, they're not that strong but this game against Liverpool might bring that aggressiveness to the team.
I can't imagine Klopp losing his first game of the year 2024 which means it can either end in a draw because Newcastle would like to make a statement just like what Fulham did against Arsenal.
520  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects buyers and seller in payment in bitcoin on: January 01, 2024, 06:57:03 AM

I don't think there's an answer but let's say there is an answer to all these issues going on, the question is how can we make it to be in place like to favor us, like before?
The answer: Obviously network congestion.
The solution: Obviously, overhaul the protocol somehow.
For the record, there is no perfect protocol (even up to date) that can answer some its network problems in the future. Improvements must continue to be made.

Hasn't this network congestion been there all these while? Or is it now that we're having a higher price of Bitcoin that's when it seems like is having effect on all transactions?
Is not really clear because is like whatsoever is deducting the fee at high rate is taking advantage of the fact that the price of BTC is high, it needs to benefit from traders and investors this period and I believe this is the first time is happening.
