Tottenham Hotspur have another opportunity to recover their 3 point loss against Brighton who made them struggle with their defense. I think Spurs need to work more on their defense than the attack because the game against Brighton shows how weak the back line was and it might continue today.
The coach Ange Postecoglou of the side need to work more on that position if not we might be seeing a repeat of what happened in that Brighton game.
Today's game can only favor the home side when they start pressing the opponent back into their own half, it has been what was helping Spurs but after sometime they lost that ability and I believe that's what has been the reason for their poor performance.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 31, 2023, 04:57:39 AM
The two North London clubs who lost their midweek game respectively will be playing today maybe to make up for their previous games, talking about Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Both teams are gradually leaving the top 4 for those who are serious.
Tottenham I won't say much because this team tried their best to convince us that they're going to win the league and they're at the top back then to stay but that bad luck got hold of them before we could enter December, it was a very poor performance coming from them.
Arsenal need to get that win against Fulham if not I don't see them getting close to that number 1 spot on the log. The host Fulham haven't been having a great time in their last 3 games in the EPL after that 5-0 win against West Ham and they'll be going head to head against Arteta's men who lost against that same West Ham. Is becoming a norm for Arsenal to always drop point when it matters and they feel they can lift the trophy, no way. I see serious clubs like Liverpool, Man City even Aston Villa who don't play around when it comes to teams they can beat and secure all 3 point.
I just hope Arsenal come up with a better plan if not they should forget in hunting for the title, as for this game I believe Fulham would make the first half very difficult for the visitors but I can't say for the second half.

My broda na the season be this oh, I no suppose see this one as something wey go be like challenge to us at all becos if we reason am, na something wey follow dy make the xmas make sense. But where this hustle no make sense na when them go use am dy thief from piple shop and still dy flog them becos them wear mask for face... Anything wey make you react or call police just forget am, your business na bye bye... So I no too see this one as much challenge, na the season.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 31, 2023, 04:04:25 AM
I'm so sick of hearing people say Bitcoin is dead. It's like hearing that the sky is falling. In fact, the more I hear people say Bitcoin is going to crash, the more I think it's actually going to do well. It's like a tree that grows taller the stronger the wind blows, right?

That's the funny thing about this news, Bitcoin is dead, the more they wish Bitcoin to fall the more they see incredible figure and positive ones at that. If they feel Bitcoin will fall or crash like one of those fake sites then they really need to go back and ask if Bitcoin didn't fall when it was going down in price to almost $10k (if I'm not mistaken) is it now that we have it at $40k+ that it will go down?
Is just normal when some see someone progressing in life there must be a negative vibe to make sure things doesn't go well.

Quote
I don't think we should be so quick to judge. Instead of yelling at each other, why don't we just learn more about Bitcoin? Let's analyze it logically and see what we come up with. If you believe in Bitcoin, great. If you don't, that's fine too. But at least we'll all have a better understanding of what we're talking about.

It won't be posible because these set of people have their way of corrupting the next person's mind to believe what they say about Bitcoin. The annoying part is that they already have a very wide knowledge about Bitcoin but they go behind and look for another way of spoiling someone's hard work just to be the one with the best theory.
The understanding you talk about is mutual but not everyone must walk on that straight line, we must have defaulters along the line, Bitcoin will be bigger than we see it today no matter how bad they want it dead.
And let's clearly get this, without these guys who preach of Bitcoin being dead, Bitcoin won't be as strong as it is today.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects buyers and seller in payment in bitcoin on: December 31, 2023, 03:43:32 AM
I don't really know who or what's the major cause of this high transaction fee and it's very worrisome to the extent that some people have no choice than to go with whatever fee or charges that comes up. It would have been better if we can set a default fee at least we'll know how much we're losing while conducting any transactions.
Business is really slowing down, Bitcoin holders or sellers are losing and there's nothing we can do to get it back to normal, talking about the fee.
Is it that the higher we see Bitcoin price the higher the fee? Because I noticed that ever since Bitcoin price hit $30-40k the fees has never been the same, who's to blame for this current issue and what seems to be the solution?
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: December 31, 2023, 03:31:28 AM
I don't really see anything above or close to $70k let's say we're not expecting the halving next year with the current movement of Bitcoin price I don't think it would be a positive start in the first week of January 2024, and weather we like it or not it won't even get to $50k.
This last month of 2024 would have given us something better than what we're seeing, so without the expected halving next year I don't see Bitcoin price going any where positive. But if things were to be in a good shape with the halving on its way I'd rather say $80k before the midweek of January, let's see if the current slow movement of Bitcoin price would pay off next year, I mean if it will be higher.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 07:14:03 PM
Manchester United are just making the fans to always have a reason to be upset in every game they play, that's if they lose. I can't believe how Manchester United would play the whole of 1st half and all they got on goal, just 1 shot on target, their style of play is just so slow, no impact, is like they're not serious.
The second half is suppose to be more lively compared to the 1st half, I'm expecting to see more chances to be created and converted by the home side. Garnacho is a lad that's just selfish and Rashford on the other hand is really struggling, I wonder what UTD needs to do just to get a single goal in this fixture.
The score between Nottingham Forest and Manchester United is 1-0 in favor of Nottingham Forest. If Nottingham Forest wins against Manchester United this night, they deserve the winning because they are dominating the second half more than Manchester United.

I expected the home side to get a goal this second half but my problem still is about Garnacho, this kid isn't playing like he is for a very big club. He's making the whole attacking force of UTD to always go in vain, to me I would like ETH to always start him from the bench because it seems like he always plays well when he's been introduced from the bench. As it is I don't see Manchester United coming back from this one, Forest are not sharing this point.

Sometimes is not what we wish for we get, talking about the line up of Chelsea squad. Fans who saw this line up would say why Pochettino did play Nkunku, Sterling and the other guys who they expect to be in the starting eleven (11). These guys are really trying their best and it seems like Pochettino will make some changes that would add more pressure to the home side, that's when Nkunku and Sterling are introduced in the game.
Whenever Chelsea score first in any game they seem to win that game and this is a done deal for me, the Blues are playing well and I don't see Luton getting anything out of this game. The second half I believe we're going to see more goals, but Jackson on the other hand need to work on his foot work because it seems like the man is finding it hard to free himself from the ball a little bit and his confidence too need to be in check, outside from that he's doing perfectly well in today's game.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 30, 2023, 10:06:21 AM
To me if someone wants to get involved in gambling they should just bare in mind that they're not coming out with profit but with a sad face which is to say they've lost, and Op the gamblers you see these days don't have something doing doesn't mean they won't find a way of getting money to gamble. If there's no cash they can decide to sell off some of their properties just to get what they'd use to gamble and they must've have this rich look. And a gambler always have this confidence of going in a casino and walking out with profit and that's why gamblers don't quit but continue trying that one day it will be profitable.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 09:39:01 AM
Luton will be hosting the Blues who won against Crystal Palace and with the recent performance of Chelsea it seems like any team who goes head to head against them are getting all 3 point, with Luton on the mix I feel something shocking might happen in today's fixture which is the first game in the EPL.
Chelsea are trying to get their mojo back to make the fans still having that believe that they're going to make it to either the champions league or Europe league next season by getting the available points they could.
Today's game won't be any different from what we have been seeing from the Blues who hardly get shots from outside the box, they also lack an attacker who can convert chances, it seems to be the problem of Chelsea at the moment. Nkunku return is giving the Blues a different flow in the game, only if the goals would be popping in then Chelsea are good to go but for this game I think is going to be a one sided affair.
532  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have anyone heard about a platform called Adswage? on: December 30, 2023, 09:10:35 AM
If you're thinking about joining Adswage, I want to emphasize that it pays really well. I've been investing with them for over two months, and I currently have around 21 referrals, and we're all making good money.

How true is this testimony that you're giving us? This is something we're familiar with, someone can just pop up from nowhere and start making the other users feel what they're saying is real but ones you're in, it will be something different from what you're being told. Don't get me wrong is just how these crazy sites works and I don't think they're legit neither are your testimony.

Why do we keep ruling out Liverpool in the race for the premier league tittle? To me, Liverpool are favourite for that tittle because I don't see Arsenal and Arteta's men win it again as they slip in the race.WestHam had always been a problem to them, but I blamed the manager,Arteta for not using a tactics that will be difficult for the Harmers, instead,he kept on playing Z who is a total problem when we face teams that have a very good attacking threats.
WestHam always knows how to win Arsenal, and yesterday, was another bad day for the gunners who now sits second to Liverpool. The tittle race is becoming complicated as games become more tough.

Liverpool might be on the run for the title, winning games and getting business done but I think they're not yet considered as the favorite and if I'm to pick I'd go for Manchester City as the favorite because they knows how to make use of their chances in terms of outstanding games, is a must win for them. But Liverpool, I don't see then getting far as to touching the title. Arsenal are jokers and I won't blame the player Zinchenko like you did because the position he has been playing depending on where the manager puts him, he has been pretty good, the problem is the whole team and Arteta in general.
You went about business against your closest opponent Liverpool and you played out a draw and coming to play against a team that ain't sure if they can win or even get a corner in a game and you lost to a confused team, it only shows that the Gunners are still counting their feet, they don't know or should I say they have forgotten how important winning the league title means to them.
But I still see the Gunners getting a bounce back to top the league, we still have one last dance to witness before heading to 2024, either we see Liverpool lose or Manchester City to lose.

Proverb: Two elephants wey meet for small bridge no go go anywhere unless one lie down.

Meaning: Sometimes people need to make way for others to succeed.

Very funny meaning there 🤣 e come be like say the meaning get something to do with some political matters because na them dey like make person go down for them to climb or succeed but oncrhe contrary, i believe we can actually succeed together without bringing anyone down if we don't let envy, greed and selfishness take over our thinking.

You see that greed selfishness you yan so, hmm... E be like scar wey no fit comot from our oga at the top there body oh, e go hard to comot from their body becos that passage them dy money dy come out from their so e go hard.

Proverb:  When you dey cry for rain make you know say you dy cry for mud too.

Meaning: If you're looking for something good be ready for the consequences.
536  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Just think of holding and not the high transaction fees. on: December 29, 2023, 04:07:46 AM
To hold no be bad things as una talk but to some other piple them dy really reason am go where the fee dy big pass wetin them plan to send out or get. And I never really see for any where wey them say this nah the main reason wey dy cos this high fee and e dy disturbing becos the solution self no dy come.
One annoying thing there be say you no fit complain give anybody say them charge you pass normal, and e get wetin I reason say what if you as a person fit put the amount wey you go like to use as default fee, after all na your money na... Naija man thinking oh, I just dy ask if that kind thing no fit dy possible?
Like this now this one don turn crypto POS as them dy charge high.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 29, 2023, 03:38:50 AM
Arteta and his boys are planning to give Arsenal fans another heart break and is becoming a normal style of feeding the fans with a shameful performance each time the race for the title is becoming hot and interesting.
I don't see any reason why Arsenal would lose against West Ham who don't know when to get a straight 3 games win, Arsenal played everything but didn't get a goal, this is to show that they are not in any form to even be at the top of the table and even win the league title.
This performance alone has given football lovers that impression that the Gunners are not capable of beating the best to be the champions of EPL, I must say that I'm seriously disappointed with the performance of Arsenal, they should watch out for Liverpool and Manchester City and probably Aston Villa to over take them.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we all learnt this 2023 on: December 29, 2023, 03:23:54 AM
I know I'm kinda new here to be giving out advice on this forum, nonetheless I've been on the crypto space for some years now and from my mistakes and personal experience I can say this:

👉 Don't take popular opinions as an investment advice. If there is anything I've truly learnt from my time in this forum, is not to follow popular opinions or crypto influencers. Making reference to a trend some months ago about bitcoin price reaching an ATH of 100k this year which is obviously not going to happen because of the current price and market conditions, I guess it would take the hand of God to make that happen and we aren't even sure if we are in a bull run or not.

👉 Stop relying on Telegram channels or Reddit groups for trade signals or investment advice. I know everyone has their decision and perspectives regarding to this but from my knowledge and complaints I've seen on this forum and other sources, most persons ends up with negative experiences from this.
Trading is risky and investment must be done wisely.
I recommend that you get some knowledge so you could do some analysis for yourself and check those signals before using them. This would help you have an idea of the risk your getting into.
Always do a good background check up before investing in any project.

👉 This advice might seem a little controversial, but I think it's helpful. Stop over diversification, what I call over diversification is putting your money in every crypto project that comes your way.
I think it's far better to have few crypto that you are constantly, than investing violently in so many project.

Good thing you know your right from your left in the crypto world and is best not to completely agree with those bloggers or influencers we have trying to make every prediction about Bitcoin price getting to a certain amount before the end of this year or before the week runs out, they only do that to promote their channels and let it look like they're the eagle eyes of crypto world.
If you're an investor or trader and you intend to always go with their words without having a strategy then you're not ready to make profit.
Some telegram channels who always talk about having the best signal and they sell it at cheaper rate and it's the best, fine that's how it may look like as the best but we shouldn't rush into what we have no idea of just because we want to make quick money or excessive profit, no.
Patient and getting the best advise from someone (who has the experience for years) who's willing to expand your knowledge on the crypto space without paying for it is what you need to make your experience grow. Scammers are not ready to give up anytime soon so avoiding fake telegram channels would help a lot.
There's nothing bad in putting your money in multiple crypto investment, it helps a lot but knowing where and what you're doing is better than just blindly investing in something you haven't heard of because you think is right to have different form of investment, it works for others doesn't mean it will work for you as well.
We should sometimes reduce the rate at which we take risk while investing, to make research before we start investing reduces the risk, at least we have an idea on what we're doing.

It shows how weak they have become but Pep still have back up to always get the business done, I love the way the Citizens are switching in players to replace the injured ones but they're still not getting it to be the way it used to be.
Haaland on the other hand doesn't seem to be a problem when he's out but KDB's absence has shown that the Citizens lack that creativity in them.
Arsenal and Liverpool are never going to let this opportunity slip off their fingers in letting Manchester City win the league, and I believe that the second leg against Manchester City won't be easy as the first and Pep knows the danger that lies ahead of his team getting the title.
Manchester City's quite busy match schedule certainly makes them tired, but Pep Guardiola has a lot of ammunition and the rotations carried out on the team are able to produce maximum results.
I have said from the start that Manchester City is a quite strong team and they should be watched out for by all teams in the fight for the title, slumping and getting unsatisfactory results in a few weeks is a normal thing for a football team but how can they getting up is something worth waiting for and Manchester City was able to do that quickly.

Arsenal and Liverpool have experienced an increase in quality this season compared to last season so of course this will make the competition with Manchester City in the race for the title fierce and in my opinion the same is true and will even be fiercer compared to last season.

In as much as they're the current champions many football fans have tipped them as the favorite in winning the title base on how the slack and still bounce back to win the title in previous seasons, that's in the past to me because they haven't shown how ready they are to repeat it again and the other teams are not even ready to lose against them (City). I just hope things go as plan for the other teams, I'd tip either Liverpool or Arsenal to win the league this campaign.
Liverpool and Arsenal have learnt their lesson especially the Gunners who almost got the title but slipped off at the last minute which to me is just a disgraceful performance if you ask me. Both teams (Liverpool and Arsenal) are really going to hit City very hard just to slow them in getting close to the title and Pep is getting the signal so he had to improvise since things ain't working for him as before.
I will advise you not to write off city as the favorite to win the league title this time around. By this time last season they found themself in similar situation they are right now. But you know what happened when it was January. If city lost as many points that they have lost already and are still this close to the two teams that are toping the league just imagine what will happen when the other teams starts losing points and city start winning when Kelvin and Haland comes back by January.

I still don't understand why you guys think City has what it takes to win the league even if KDB returns and I'm not talking about Haaland because he's no threat any more and like I ones said that they ain't missing him. If we have some of those players who left City of recent I believe they would've been in good shape so I don't feel they can get the title again this season.
As for the other teams trying to get the title this season I still think they're all waiting for that mistake (losing games and points) from Pep Guardiola's men which I don't think is going to be the key to winning the title, they have to win their games and forget what's going on with City because as it is the Citizens are far behind in points until they play their outstanding games.
