Just discovered Lykke, I find it very interesting. Is there any contact for private chat with devs?

This is the public Lykke-channel: https://telegram.me/joinchat/AEGiqkF-_dNaHMwQbRSnAg

...it's also possible to open private chats there. Usually the team is very busy, but especially Sergey Ivliev is pretty active and also Lena Mechenkova and Richard Olsen are on from time to time.

I've tried the new cold-wallet-feature today. It's really nice and simple to do:

1. Private
2. +
3. Cold
4. Type in Name
5. Generate private key - Shaking the phone (priv-key will be deleted right after)
6. Writing down 12 seed words
7. Typing in 12 seed words (verification)

8. Create Wallet

Steps 1-7 can be done offline. Only for 8. it's needed to go back online.

This screenshot shows the last step (I would have to go back online to create the wallet):

Lykke Team Members Will Teach at Perm Winter School'17 on FinTech

Lykke will curate the international conference Perm Winter School, which will be held on February 3-4, 2017 in Perm (Russia). Annually, this unique event brings together international financial experts, scholars, teachers, and students of economic and IT professions.

The Seventh Winter School will focus on the topic that generates a lot of hopes and disputes today - the Financial Technologies. The event participants will discuss the blockchain technology and its revolutionizing capital markets, banking and risk management in the era of financial technologies, as well as advanced models of market microstructure.

Conference speakers include top international experts with established reputations in financial markets. Among this year’s keynote speakers are Lykke founder and CEO Richard Olsen, Lykke co-founders Sergey Ivliev, Mihail Nikulin, Anton Golub, and Lykke CBDO Demetrios Zamboglou.

“Financial technology has gained critical mass and is able to change the financial industry drastically, just as biotechnology changed the pharmaceutical industry and medicine back then, - says Sergey Ivliev, who has been the organizer and ideologist of the Perm Winter School for seven years. - Many people call the blockchain a bank killer. Is it really so? Let's try to figure it out at our winter school”.

See the details of the project, program, and registration at www.permwinterschool.ru.

Hello, I have 2 questions:
1. I see ETH on https://lykke.com/exchange.php  but not on my Lykke android wallet, will it be avaible soon ?
2. I actually see my Market Value in USD, but I prefer to see my value in EUR, is it possible ?

Thanks !

1. ETH-integration is planned for Q1 2017. I believe I've read somewhere that they hope to be faster, but don't quote me on that. It's possible that I mix it up with something else - at least I don't know where I could have read it. ;-)

2. There is the option to change the "base asset" under settings - but I've just tried it and it seems as if it only changes it on the exchange site. The market value is still in USD.

I've dropped both questions into the slack and once I have it I'll post it.

thanks, this option will be probably out soon. With ETH integration trading volume should go up fast

Just got the confirmation. Like you say: Market value - option for base-currency will come soon.

Ethereum-integreation is still scheduled for Q1 in 2017.

And yes, once Ethereum is available volume will increase. But there are a lot of aspects that will have positive effect on that, like margin trading, offchain-settlement, progress regarding regulations etc. Lykke will grow fast on all fronts.

I dont think we should engage in discussion with papou.
I came across him some couple times and I have noticed how he constantly changes his stance on things.
One day he's a true believer and then next he's a hardcore critic and then he becomes back a believer and so forth, like he's schizophrenic.
If you cant stand for something then you will fall for anything

He is just invested or not and a combination of arrogance and naivety makes him believe he could write prices up or down.

Hello guys:
I will check with dev regarding remaining bounty issues, our team needs to sync on the list.

We just updated web wallet yesterday, check it out and tell us how does it feel now (esp for connection speed)
An interesting finding is that the sync speed on iOS platform is incredibly fast....

meanwhile, as for Poloniex, no ppl we cannot pay them "funds" to get listed, that's not their nor our policy.

I've tried it with Chrome, Opera and other Browsers.

It needs about 110 seconds for 50 blocks. For all blocks that would be 143 hours.

When will the new nodes be activated?
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: December 09, 2016, 05:31:20 PM
I think you guys don't have plan to pay us our signature payment.
yeah, you're right, the camp manager left, the dev has no concern. this coin will not go further because of that.
It is been 5 months since ICO finished and campaign ended. They've raised 5000 with our help and support now they are delaying our bounty without any reason.
What a fucking shit assistant and management service.

How can that be possible if this thread is not older than 4 months and the ICO was finished one months later on September 7? ;-)

It's tiring to read buy buy buy when there is no reason to buy something that is AlREaDY inflated way past its value. It's tiring to read buy buy buy when the coin is only doing dump dump dump...stop misguiding people...put orders under 200k but I would seriously wait for maybe even under 100k in the next 1-3 months

Do you know what's so interesting? Your own post-history. Just some examples:

This is about to moon so hard and I am laughing at all these fools dumping out. These prices is how you go from rags to riches. Thank you to whoever is bringing us so low.

Yup, the market is just whiny that they don't take time to entertain trolls on Bitcointalk. FCT is one of the only cryptos actually going places. It is such an amazing buy, especially right now.

How opinions change over time and dependent on if you are in or out, right? ;-)
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: December 09, 2016, 03:43:50 PM
lol only reason it's stillabove 250k is the whales would rather sell their coins for 250k than 200k or less. 200k was the flash dump, nobody had many buys in that range to take profit at 250k...be real dude. You are probably stuck in a bad position, and no one will admit it to further cause concern and dump the price so you guys are trying to keep this positive to stay afloat or break even, I get it. Let's not be naive and let's save others the trouble we have faced here. And I'm sorry but EC do not need FCT, it's vice versa. Factoids are completely unnecessary and are not needed at all. Everyone will be purchasing entry credits directly from the website. Why would someone pay a more expensive Factoid price when they can just buy cheaper entry credits directly from Factom? You guys seem to forget Factoids have nothing to do with Factom incorporated. The price of Factoids can go to 0 satoshi, Factom isn't affected at all.

You totally don't get it... FCT are burned when EC's are bought. The price of an EC is 0.001USD. Meaning that with one FCT you can currently buy 1.9USD/0.001=1900 EC's. If you buy FCT yourself and convert it yourself as a company you pay 0.001 per EC. Indeed, you can also decide to not buy FCT first and buy EC's directly from Factom. But then you pay a premium of 0.005USD. Factom burns the FCT in the background (probably against the normal rate of 0.001 I assume) to get the EC's for you. So you pay 0.004 too much basically, becaus eyou let factom do the work instead of yourself, but that doesn't change anything to the fact that FCT are burned and with that less FCT are available on the market. So, getting EC's has nothing to do with excessive FCT prices compared to EC price. You don't understand a single thing about Factom. Nobody is taking you serious here...

Very wrong. That would make EC its own currency with a Parity to a Factoid. Where will the team get these Factoids in the background for people? Hop on poloniex and trade? Be real here dude, Factoids are just candy for idiots here it seems.

(...)

What I really would like to know if you are just a troll who spreads desinfo or if you really don't understand the economical-design of Factom.

Please explain how it could be possible to purchase Entry Credits without that Factoids are converted into EC's and "burned"...?

Spoiler: It is not possible. And yes, an Entry Credit Store will buy Factoids on exchanges and convert them for those who want to buy Entry Credits without touching Crypto at all.
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: December 08, 2016, 08:35:42 PM
We shall see. I have long term faith in Fct but it's 12 months+. Fct had a parabolic pump in the summer for no real reason, value wise. It's going to fully retrace back to the beggining before the summer pump, every market retraces fully when you can't justify the current price and it's sad to say 250k is still unjustified for a Factoid, that's what you guys aren't getting.

Oh boy, you don't even understand the Factom-eco-system. Nearly nothing what you say makes any sense with that in mind.

For example:

1) "I have long term faith in Fct but it's 12 months+"

How can you have longterm-faith in FCT when you believed this just some hours before?

So people bought something useless, great even better. 80k looks like an expensive figure now, thanks for the clarification that people won't even need Factoids to make entries, so Factoids are completely worthless

And why even longterm-faith if you believe that Factoids are "completely worthless"? Is that logical?

2) "Fct had a parabolic pump in the summer for no real reason, value wise."

Let's see what happened in summer. First take a look on the Bitcoin-Chart. What do you see from mid June until September?

Second (from June 17 until August 23):

DHS S&T Awards $199K to Austin Based Factom Inc.
https://www.factom.com/blog/dhs-s-t-awards-199k-to-austin-based-factom-inc

https://www.factom.com/blog/datayes-factom-announce-collaboration

Intrinio + Factom Announce Collaboration
https://www.factom.com/blog/intrinio-factom-announce-collaboration

No reasons? Really?

3) "It's going to fully retrace back to the beggining before the summer pump, every market retraces fully when you can't justify the current price and it's sad to say 250k is still unjustified for a Factoid, that's what you guys aren't getting."

It's possible that the price goes down if Bitcoin should shoot up. But not for long - once Bitcoin would go down, Factom would be one of those that would explode. Why? Because it is undervalued in comparison to most of all projects out there. Do you know any other Blockchain-project that has already fixed so much real business-connection and already is able to solve real-world-problems?

Take a look at the marketcaps: http://coinmarketcap.com/all/

A marketcap below $20 M, but you believe Factom is overvalued? This low valuation is a diagnosis of the mental health of the collective of Crypto-"Investors" - even more in the context of Hypes like Steem and jokes like Doge and Zombies like Litecoin and Drama-Queens like Ethereum (still above $700 M).
