I wonder the same because if someone has elected you for a task or role than they must have faith in your capabilities and you should not worry about being a gambler or drug addict. I can relate with your pain because someone in my close family did something like that, it wasn't trading but it was some land issue through which they made a big amount of loss but the difference between you and him is that he always had a positive intent in life and shared his troubles with his mother because his father was unfortunately paralyzed a few years ago in some accident.

Completely agree with the first part of the post because it's a threat once you start loosing control over your gambling and it becomes an addiction once you know you are into problem gambling but yet cannot stop yourself.
