yeah silk road is probably the reason why most people even got their bitcoins in the first place.  haha I wouldn't say "most". Lots of people did actually mine coins! But yes, a "certain proportion" of early adopters have provably gotten their coins from Silk Road. I think it was about half  I really doubt it. I would say far less. There were other ways to spend your bitcoins (sd) and also lots of people used it for vpns and other www services. And some never used their bitcoin on anything just stored them and waited. If the fbi got their hands on all the activity on SR , if they decide to make some numbers public they will finally shed some light into it. But to many ifs. |

It's simple....douche did a pump and dump. Once he dumped the premined coins, he made a new account and new coin.
Doubt we'll be hearing from him again (atleast on this account anyway) If this is indeed the case then I am very sorry to hear about it. Has this been confirmed or ascertained? I read somewhere that 0.075% coins were pre-mined so I cannot see the logic in him pumping/dumping with less than 1% pre-mined. Anyway, I wish this coin skyrockets because I have a a substantial amount. Wish you all success in taking it forward. I see the reasons you want it to skyrocket.... but do you know any reasons for it to actually skyrocket? If I was a Gox customer. As soon as I had a chance to get my capital out of Gox, it would be gone. 'Gox trolled them again'. Bullshit. This is very very harmful for Gox and even if they aren't insolvent, they are still dead. The above move , if executed correctly would really help their financial problems. And don't call them dead yet. Bad things have a habit of not willing to die easily.
