1421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you know any websites allowing PAMM services in crypto? on: February 11, 2020, 09:44:36 PM
FXOpen offers PAMM accounts for bitcoin and litecoin: https://www.fxopen.com/en/pamm-accounts/pamm-crypto

according to their roadmap, Geco.one (funded by an ICO ~ a year ago) is supposed to launch their new PAMM platform next month. https://geco.one/

BTC-E was always the king of crypto PAMM platforms. they left a big vacuum in the market when they went down.....

Thank you for the list, I am very disappointed that the list is too small and there are no services that offer PAMM services while having copy-trading available on many platforms.

What is the minimum in BTC do I need to invest at geco and fxopen?
1422  Economy / Service Discussion / Do you know any websites allowing PAMM services in crypto? on: February 11, 2020, 08:40:46 PM
I had been a forex trader and I was fond of investing instead of trading myself, and so I found a way we call as PAMM (Percentage allocation management module) where we put our money on stake in a trader's PAMM account where he can only trade and keep the profits we agreed upon 'which already gets allocated to him after a successful profitable trade'. Are there any PAMM account services available in crypto trading too? Don't confuse PAMM accounts with copy-trading.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: February 11, 2020, 07:59:06 PM
I have read this article: Youth gambling problems: a public health perspective I consider it important for gamblers, Gambling addiction greatly contributes to drug and alcohol abuse and theft. Joining a casino makes you lose a lot of money and smoke a lot of cigarettes and wine, This, of course, will pose a major threat to your health!!!

Can crypto really give solutions to gambling addicts?

It is not about crypto but online gambling, because if you are with your family while gambling, you will not do these things and remain the person you are.

😉Did joining gambling make you addicted to drugs and drink?!!

It depends on the circle of people you are in, some people stop you from going the wrong way while others manipulate you badly and make you do those unnecessary things. I described about circle of people because if your friends are addicted to drugs and all, no matter you win or lose, they will make your mindset alike them and want you to join them. At the beginning, they will ask you to try it, then they will start asking for money once they see that you are also addicted due to them.
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 11, 2020, 07:14:24 PM
I have not invested in any such gambling sites that allow investments in house edge, but a few years ago 'not so old', we all had a testing person who had a thread in the gambling part of this forum where they used to give us tips on where to invest and what they have invested as well as the returns they were getting each month - for a period of 6 months. I didn't believe it to be a good idea on house edge's side either because we will not have complete transparency of how and when did our money got lost, if this information is not certain enough, please draw me to the correct information.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 11, 2020, 07:06:32 PM
...snip...
Do we have the same attitude or not?

If I have a goal set and I am winning, I would prefer to stop once it is reached or if I start losing more while reaching near the target - depends on my mood. But for the losing part, I will not let my whole capital go bust and if I have lost some part of it already, I will stop immediately. I set some loss goals too so that if I reach near that goal, I stop playing and either withdraw or continue some other day as I don't feel my luck works for me that day.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: February 11, 2020, 06:22:37 PM
Who says they don't give any thing to us?
The environment part may be correct but the girls are still available for live dealings and you also get bonuses - around 100% deposit bonus and some casinos also offer more with some strings attached of course. Though, if it is a 0% edge and will give the same experience we get on casinos that have some house edge, then why will players not gamble there?
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IDEA for a lottery that does not depend on luck on: February 11, 2020, 04:32:32 PM
What if more than 1 player chooses the same value of the total pot? There is around 100% probability the last person will choose the very rounding digit even paying higher and buy more tickets to win the lottery.

Yes, that's a good point. That's why I am thinking that each ticket runs independently and all predictions have 1 week time period. So you are always predicting how much the pot will be after 1 week. In that week's time period, the pot could increase because new tickets or could decrease because somebody hits the jackpot.

Pot size increase is understandable but decrease? You mean that someone who loses the lottery once during a week, his prediction still remains in the system for 1 more week or am I missing something here? I am confused how can it be decreased and the fact that the last timers will win is based on how users watch predictors carefully and get an estimate to lock a possible winning number, which makes lower predictions void of having any possibility to win at all.

Check out https://bitcoinplay.net - a compiled list of casinos with categories you have asked for.

Btw, my personal favorites are Sportsbet.io and mBTCit.
1430  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 10, 2020, 02:52:45 PM
I also don't get this thing when I try to withdraw my coins that why do they ask us that huge amount when they don't even send half of what we paid them in fee? Is it not a way for them to make money? I can go for altcoins but then, what is the use of Bitcoin? Why can't we have 5k satoshis in fee instead of 50k or 100k? The alts we choose to withdraw, need buyers in real world too to sell these to them directly without finding a way to convert it back to BTC or Eth.
1431  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Win 0.2 BTC From 0.8 BTC Balance In Dice Fast - In 10 Minutes on: February 09, 2020, 05:49:42 PM
The thing is that the losing streaks will not be quite fast, so player can win. Thanks to dice site admin for nice win possibilities for players !!! After 15 minutes yes, player will loose, but untill then player can win and be happy.

What? LMAO and ROFL on this statement of yours. That is shit you just said, you are saying that a player can win for the first 15 minutes? And is the admin so stupid or is that a bug you have got on that site? If that's so, their developers will most probably fix it soon and end this possibility for everyone. No dice site or house edge will let you win even if we wait for the number of rolls Alex has described in his post else they will have to shut their sites so quick. And why should I wait 15 minutes if I can take full high risk and put a 1.25x payout with BTC0.8 bet completely?

1435  Economy / Economics / Re: [PAXOS+COINJOIN]Your privacy is a threat to exchange business?#deletepaxos on: January 29, 2020, 08:36:57 PM
How can an exchange have the power to do that? It is our money and we have the right to withdraw it through any means we can, who is Binance or any other exchange to stop us from using a mixer? Doesn't complying with rules get you on your knees when trying to do something that is not illegal 'if the actual purpose is not illegal and you have already completed your KYC there'.

In that case it was down to the rules imposed on Binance by Singapore.

So, those rules are limited to Singapore users of Binance and those who live outside Singapore can still withdraw BTC from Binance on mixing websites if that specific country they belong to, has not imposed any such AML rules?

If Bitcoin gets improved on chain privacy then most people will naturally want to use it. If LNs take off then that's another layer of mystery.

On chain privacy? I guess how BTC would have been if the Blockchain had come mixed up already like in XMR? Can't our developers do anything or fork BTC to a new privacy based chain and let the users decide which one or both to be used? And about LN, I am not a fanatic nor do I know a lot about it so cannot comment on how it maintains privacy.
1436  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 29, 2020, 08:22:04 PM
Either tag them or stop the discussion, because stretching it like a piece of rubber will only bring in highly nonsense sensical comments when we all know that the end conclusion will remain in favor of users and yahoo collectively to 'let go' them once. I don't think there is any law of the forum or DTs that allows such a universally punishable act here, so if you [Lauda] don't want that 'next time' to happen and if it happens, will tag even the campaign manager with all the involved users - why don't you open a poll for DTs to support you on that law which you are trying to enforce here right now?
1437  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betroar.io + BitBrawlers 💰 1/19: Risk-Free Bet on NFC Championship!! 💰 on: January 29, 2020, 08:04:57 PM
They should really consider that most people do prefer out on having instant payments. Manual processing is somewhat outdated and telling some reason about some verification?
No it isnt really that a valid thing for thim to excuse or alibi on and wont be surprised if they do lost up numbers of potential customers because of this issue.

They are not losing customers alone but their reputation is being muddled by their karma, they should settle this as soon as possible because they have taken more than 2 months to test all their website features with having us on the stake to be used, and each user honestly reviewed them as well as gave correct opinions and they have thus changed a lot of things. Then why the withdrawals are still going to be processed manually and what check are you going to make if your site is bug-free now? Making users wait 48-72 hours and in some cases, even more, will drag away a users interest out of your site because a gambler, so addicted to gambling wants to withdraw instantly because they want to sell that BTC and enjoy. Now if you keep their coins in your website and ask them not to bet for 2-3 days, then tell me which gambler can control themselves for 3 days and resist gambling for that period?

That same kind of thing happened with users who used Wasabi Bitcoin wallet when Binance denied the withdrawals to mixing services. Full story -  https://www.cryptopolitan.com/binance-blocked-wasabi-withdrawals/

You should submit your issue you're having instead of the sarcastic message though , might help you solve your withdrawal problem faster  Wink

Though it was not clear, I have the general knowledge to understand what he is trying to say. They have been asked this for multiple times to change their habit of processing withdrawal requests instsntly because nobody likes to wait, but this is still unprofessional on their side not to update their system and the way they deal with withdrawal requests - makes them look terrible while being in the business for more than 2 months now.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [JAN 2020] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: January 29, 2020, 07:04:34 PM
Does the low fee 'like 1-5 satoshis per byte' remain during some specific timings?
Your best odds for a low fee are on Sundays, but the point of this topic is to consolidate your inputs when you're not in a hurry and when you don't need your funds for a while. So if today's transaction confirms next Sunday, that shouldn't matter.

I get that.
So basically, it is not a high or low fees thing and just an angle/ a way of looking at it as when you send a low fee transaction and unfortunately network clogs down, you will wait while higher fee payers will enjoy their transactions being confirmed earlier than yours and if the fee drops immediately after some transactions and you just wait till that time for that fee drop to come, then I think there is no need to send a transaction when fees are high.

Quote
That being said: My Bitcoin Core estimates a minimum fee transaction to confirm in 4 to 8 hours.

And what happens if the prediction fails due to a mempool clog?
I will not bother to see it for 24 hours too but will you take it for 2 days after trusting the wallet's fee prediction? We have seen that happening in the past days already.
