1421  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: November 24, 2022, 06:28:42 AM
Hello,

I inform you that problem is solved. We made an agreement with OWL.games, I have no complaints.

Anyone waiting for proof from OWL.games about their bankroll, I can vouch that they have quite a lot of it, as I got much more than 8k USDt.

Thanks to the community and the OWL.games team, I hope we all learned from this situation.   Smiley

I don't really get it. Why you take $8k instead of $85k from your report before? Because you are afraid you won't get anything if you continue this, so you are ok with $8k?
I do remember you said their bankroll was only around $300k and it's small compared other casino, but now you said they have quite a lot of it, plot twist?

You will never know the truth because this maybe part of there agreement so that he can get his partial profit in exchange for erasing the damage done brought up by this user. This is a win win situation for both party since the victim lose his balance on his own while Owl offer him a better proposal that both party will be happy when they part ways.

We as the public viewer only doesn’t have any authority to question the result since the victim itself already satisfied on the outcome. Let’s just move on along with @cryptostuneris acceptance.
1422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you bet ESports or table tennis? If so, this is a must read. on: November 23, 2022, 09:55:41 AM
Too many scams with ESports and table tennis. Even in Tennis a lot of games are fixed. I can't trust anyone that is trying to sell fixed matches.

Do you have proof that match is fixed? Besides how can this be a scam if the outcome is already determined before the match begin? Unless game results varies base on the number bets then it can be categorized as scam but an e-sports game with predetermined result is acceptable since it’s can be categorized as dice game since your bet doesn’t affect the result.

Is match fixing is already proven on esports? I don’t deny the possibility but how will the casino classify the match as fixed?
1423  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]Google Form Email Scam on: November 23, 2022, 07:37:52 AM
It has been discussed before on this forum, you can see it here using this link: Scam from Google Form, Crypto Donate. I have known their intention from the moment I saw it on an email I used for some purposes that I know could receive phishing messages.

It is a scam.

People should avoid phishing messages, they should be mindful of where they are submitting their email, where the attack attempt originates from.

I just create it here for newbie awareness since I still receive this email recently which means they are still rampant on this kind of scheme. What intrigues me here was they are using google form instead of the typical junk email that might be misinterpreted by newbie that they subscribed to giveaways.

I will lock this thread soon. Thanks for again for the heads up charles.
1424  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning]Google Form Email Scam on: November 23, 2022, 07:13:33 AM
I’m receiving this email since last year but I didn’t bother to look on it until now that I became curious on what’s the content since I don’t subscribe on any google form using my personal email.

At first, A newbie might mistakenly look it as legit email since this is through google form invitation when you check the sender.

But later on you will be directed to other website to claim your supposed donation grant. I patiently finish all the task so that I can see what will be the outcome. After a couple of minutes of clicking to finish the task, they ask me to to donate for others with small amount of Bitcoin in able to claim the money I collected. This is where the scam part enter.

A gullible newbie might be tempted to risk small amount of Bitcoin in exchange for the potential huge amount that you can get by donating to others. I think this scam website have many victim since they are very persistent on sending me an email for a long time.
1425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: November 22, 2022, 10:13:01 AM
While staying away from the so called shitcoins is money saving on one's pocket, don't let this make you miss the chance to invest in promising altcoins which perform better than bitcoin on several occasions !
Btw to make money in the world of crypto, and anywhere else the name of the game is called "risk"! If you can't risk hen you can't not win.. Like the gamblers say "Go big or go home."
Actually it all boils down to risk apetite. Yes investing on shitcoins are scary and chances of losing money here is big but if you can able to surpass those then who knows your pocket would be 100x of your money invested or the opposite youll lose it all. Its all about chance, if you wont gamble any then you wont lose any nor gain too.

This is right, But maybe we should clarify first what shitcoins is really being described by OP, some people categorized all altcoins as shitcoin but some people only categorized worthless altcoins such as meme coin as shitcoin.

Ignoring completely those shitcoins aka meme coins are the best thing to do no matter what is the risk appetite of the user since it’s a complete gamble while investing on altcoins aside from Bitcoin is what we are dealing for a risk assessment. People should know how to allocate there portfolio base on the risk they are entering for that specific coin. Ignoring altcoins that has a lot of potential to grow such as blockchain token is just like fishing only small fish while the big fish is free nearby just because you are scared to venture out.

1428  Local / Pilipinas / Bakit kaya walang Blockchain project na based sa bansa natin? on: November 18, 2022, 05:48:03 AM
Palipat nalang if not suitable sa section na ito @Mr. Big

May mga nakikita ako na Pilipino made project pero more on short term or nagiging scam dahil wala talagang nagtitiwala kapag kapwa pinoy ang gumawa.

Madami tayong magagaling devs sa pinas dahil galing ako sa symbianize forum kaya sa tingin ko kakayanin nating maachieve ang goal na ito kung magtutulungan lang tayo.

1429  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Additional Forum theme - Night Mode/Dark Theme on: November 16, 2022, 11:31:48 AM
This has already been discussed before several times and there are solutions, you can use an extension for it.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4423230.0

This guy Dark Mode is really what I preferred but his githu link is not working. I have zero knowledge on CSS so I want avoid that part as much as possible. Thank you for sharing.

As title implied, I want to request @theymos for a night mode/dark theme to make the forum less stressful since pure white is very stressful in the eye. I didn't notice this on my old monitor but it bothering now when using a wide montor.

Install BPIP extension to your browser, it brings a lot of useful stuff. (see more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224821 )
And you can choose a theme for the forum, there are also two dark options.
Imho this is the easiest way to add dark theme to bitcointalk.

Currently using the BPIP extension and Dark mode is not good as this user provide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4423230.0 but still this is helpful compared to the original version. Thank you for sharing.

I still want to stand on my request for an admin to create an official dark theme mode that doesn't rely on 3rd party software for convenience and safety purposes of accounts. This https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4423230.0 color combination for Dark mode is the best so far. Since the other theme shows the high contrast on signature and avatar color.

Leaving this thread open for a while.

As title implied, I want to request @theymos for a night mode/dark theme to make the forum less stressful since pure white is very stressful in the eye. I didn't notice this on my old monitor but it bothering now when using a wide montor.

I notice too that there's a feature to change theme feature on Look and Layout Preferences but it's currently disabled for an unknown reason. I assume this feature is implemented before and just temporarily disabled right?

Does any of the old account experienced using that feature before when it's still functional?
1431  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁 BIRTHDAY for $1 000 000| Trip to Las Vegas & BMW M8 😎 on: November 14, 2022, 08:38:24 AM

I think the opposite, the Dice game here is less attractive they limit our win with only x100 bet while in other casinos we can set the win up to x10000
I prefer to play Keno and Plinko here especially for wager farming but I haven't been active here for a long time because I can't access my account
I lost my smartphone including 2FA I know I can contact the support to recover it I will do it when Betfury has something interesting.

They just hosted an interesting birthday contest with a prize pool of 1 million $... Probably in the next month, they will do something else for Christmas. Hopefully we will again get a mining boost, a lottery, interesting BFG deposit boxes, bigger battles, ...

Based on there last year schedule of events. They have Christmas and New Year event but I'm not sure exactly whether they will allocate huge fund for the remaining event of the year or not since they recently spend big amount on there Birthday celebration event.

I really hope that they launch a raffle style again everyday for a chance to win daily reward and some free box some goodies stuff. I missed to participate on there Birthday celebration event so I hope they still have a huge prize allocated on christmas and new year.
1432  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 10, 2022, 03:49:21 PM
Based on recent trend in Bitcoin, this is the worst year in crypto history and the year is not over yet. I was talking to a friend this morning concerning the current crypto trend and guess what? This dude is loosing hope already.

And I don't even know how to encourage myself to invest more in Bitcoin, is it right for me to go ahead and buy the dip ?

This is not the worst percentage wise because Bitcoin lose it value from 20K to 2k to 3K during the Covid-19 hits. People that time that bought from top lose big time than the current market condition. Use a longer time frame to check the price dump history of Bitcoin and don’t focus on the amount of Bitcoin that being loss since the percentage changes of your holdings is much important than the price being decreases on Bitcoin. Your friend can still recover it all and possibly gain profit if he will just hold.

Hold and forget everything. Just get back few years to collect on your investment. Paper loss is not the end of investment.
1433  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [PHISHING ALERT] MetaMask phishing ETH merge verification mail.... on: October 05, 2022, 10:11:52 AM
I just received too this kind of email an hour ago. At first glance the email looks like an official email from metamask since they copy the metamask template for there announcements. But I easily notice that they are scam after seeing the email use by the sender since it was a junk email. The website that direct me when I click the wallet upgrade ask me upfront my wallet private key. I was surprised how they get my email since I only use this email on my online casino account.

I'm curious if some casino is selling or leaking my email to this kind of scammer. FYI I have tons of casino account that associated with this email. It will be very hard fr me to pin point whose doing the shit leak. Keep safe!

Hey Winner has been announced exactly as I predict, congratulations

Quote
So the BTC/EUR price of Bitstamp from July 28, 10:00 (GMT) was €20,065...

And here are the closest predictions:

slaman29 with a prediction of €20,202
LFC_Bitcoin with a prediction of €20,344.59
Karma24 with a prediction of €20,583

The over prediction guys won. I never though Bitcoin price will be at 20K Euro area during the end date of the contest. I’m just wondering how does EUR/BTC pair is showing higher price while it was always lower than USD/BTC. I’m just surprised about the price difference on both pairs because I’m watching it before until this bear market hits and push to stop looking on the chart.

Congrats to all the winners!
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Stop auto withdrawal on Tron on: August 28, 2022, 03:23:05 PM
Hi there 👋

Please I need some support here. I'm having difficulty withdrawing my USDT on my trust wallet. It was created as a Tron wallet on trust wallet. I have over $600 in USDT but each time I send Tron to the address so I can withdraw the USDT, the Tron immediately gets withdrawn to a particular wallet.

What can I do? I feel my wallet is compromised but don't know how.
Anyone has a solution here? I'd really appreciate

Lol. You are describing a the wallet bait of the hacker that contains USDT that has a built in script attached on it. The only to withdraw it is to counter it by another script that will react faster than the scammer set time. I don’t know if this is exactly possible since I don’t have knowledge in coding but the only way to withdraw that amount is to use a script that will do the same as the hacker doing since you have both access on the wallet private key.

Btw stop sending free TRX to the hacker.
1436  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💥🔥Fairspin.io🔥💥 | Blockchain Casino to Play🤩 & Earn🤑 on: August 27, 2022, 02:18:45 PM
Hi, I was on the widget page and did not understand how it works, where can I find the tokens that I held and information about the cost of the token at the moment and other things?

Coinmarketcap is your friend when you have an inquiry on tokens because the casino website usually don't indicate the token price status because it's an exchange and price aggregator job. You check all the TFS token info using the link below. Make sure you knew the risk involved before buying this token.

How could it even be a spam?
I'm trying to find a person who can help us in these fields
And if you check the so called spam link you can find our Telegram ID on the web page
stop bullying newbies here
Which rule did I break ?

The telegram link on your website is not existing when the I click the link. Littlemouse basis on his spam accusation is because your post contains few details about job you are offering. You should indicate the complete job description, hours of working, salary rate and other details related to the job to save time on asking it on the thread. You should add too any social media links on your thread that will make the conversation faster like your telegram account.

Many user here posting job offers here that has incomplete info and most of them are just spamming. if you are really interested on finding applicants here, You should make your job hiring thread complete.
1439  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels 🚀 🎰 🎲 🔥 on: August 26, 2022, 03:49:46 AM
I deposited 1 LTC to test the games. I had to wait till it confirmed six network confirmations. Nowadays, Waiting for network confirmation is absurd. I see casinos' Credit deposits as soon as transactions hit the blockchain.
I dropped here to ask this same question but good that you made this early and for their update and response .

I’m sure that you guys knew that the casino is just new and they are just using the standard safe number of confirmation on blockchain for each transaction. They might improve it in the future but you should use different currency if you want a more faster confirmation. You should this first if you are just testing the casino. Some Casino allows low confirmation on deposit because they are not new in crypto business. There’s a chance that punt management is just exploring crypto that’s why decided to use standard safe number of confirmation on there launch.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 26, 2022, 12:31:01 AM
Gambling tokens for investment look just like any other token with an idea - you can make huge profits, but only with the right token at the right time.

Due to many analysis gambling token have prospect compared to other tokens, do you know that in gambling there is always continuous program and development in as much the gambling site is still active and functional, there would be very large chance for token to worth more than any other dumped project out there, so it can't be compared to shitcoin and even many projects lack structures and basic developments. Must coin have been delisted due to inability to meetup market/exchange requirements.
In OWL i think there is a buyback mechanism which is set for the coin to be more valuable in time to come.
I singled out the idea in my post. In such situation token looks the same. I don`t think that this is right position to compare successful casino with dumped project. If you compare the same quality tokens in casino and in any other project - you get the same results. No one can guarantee that casino can not only progress but it can scams too(for example).
Investment is long way instrument. In cryptocurrencies you can`t plan for a long distance(except BTC possible).
Doesnt matter on what project do a token had been created or been connected or inspired it would be still having that chance on getting dumped or died just like any other coins in the market. It doesnt really give

out some assurances that it would be worth or not but as long it does have some volume even on small scale but at least does have some activity around then we could really say that it would really be that
considerable to make out investment of it but dont expect or anticipate that you would be ending up on positive. INvest on what you can afford to lose as always because even Bitcoin doesnt
really make guarantee.

I’m in favor on your about volume because it’s the real basis on the performance of the token. Without a volume means no one is interested on this token even small because most of this token volume is coming from DEX which is known for no fake trading volumes. The casino token is still healthy if they still have trading volume in daily basis compared to zero. I really don’t preferred investing right now because of the sentiment but I’m happy to hold my old investment on this tokens.
