Also, here's a thread where people speculate about whether he *is* Satoshi:
Martti/sirius is not Satoshi.
Compare for yourself:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=statPanel
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=4;sa=statPanel

I think I misplaced the emphasis there.  I didn't mean to insinuate that I think he is Satoshi, only to underline his connection to early bitcoin and show OP a thread where he's even speculated about as Satoshi.
1442  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 10, 2015, 04:33:43 PM
Is there any option to invest in Primedice?

I don't have a stunna quote for you, but I can tell you that in the discussions recently surrounding dadice and their (short-lived) investment program, it came up that PD does not have a public investment option.

Also, this reddit seems to confirm that: http://www.reddit.com/r/Primedice/comments/2m7mqo/invest_option_for_primedice/

Hope that helps!

Most likely, you'd get better performance out of your old hardware running GNU/Linux, I wonder why dual-booting isn't an option (if you only play your game from time-to-time, you could have more fun the rest of the time by booting into a better OS).
Not entirely true. I tried Debian on this laptop and it took longer time to boot than XP. Maybe the infamous systemd makes a difference but it is not that important since I reboot once in week or two weeks. Also the Firefox works slower on Debian. I suspect that the compiled code is less optimized on Linux for Turion64 CPU than it is on Windows compilations of Firefox. Also Bluetooth module did not work well and I was unable to disable WiFi and Bluetooth separately using button. Linux have it's uses for me like Tails, Whonix and BackTrack, but it falls short on other usability and compatibility uses. I know people love opensource OSes like Linux and BSD and I like them too. I also have reserved feelings about WinXP because it was worst Windows until Vista and Win8 came out. But I have no other options and no harddrive space. Linux is not drop-in replacemet for Windows like ReactOS atttempts to be.

Well, if you've done the experiment, then I assume you know the deal with your hardware.  One last thing I'd add is that it matters a lot which desktop environment you're using, and with GNU/Linux you have a lot of options.  I run debian on an older laptop (but I guess not as as old as the one you're talking about), I always use LXDE desktop (lightweight desktop envionment), and LXDM and that make a huuuuge difference compared to gnome or kde or even xfce.  Even faster is just a plain openbox desktop like with the fluxbox project.  And, on systemd, I did notice a big speedup when that came down the wire, but like you, I don't reboot very often so it doesn't matter a lot to me.

Does anyone know his Profile ID here in Bitcointalk?

I think it's "sirius": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=4

(note, uid=4!)

Thanks for the link to the story.  That was a fun read and I didn't know about MM before.

it's strange, in his profile he did say that he don't conduct any trade on skype, so how come he used skype with you?

his password was also changed recently, there is a chance that his profile could be hacked?

FWIW, if you had hacked his bitcointalk account in order to scam someone, wouldn't you change the profile message so that it didn't say "I don't trade on skype" if your plan was to trade on skype.  Of course, it might have been overlooked.
1446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Someone should make agar.io for bitcoins on: June 10, 2015, 02:04:13 PM
Was up last night thinking this exact same thing. The challenge will be implementing the payment/reward/deposit system.

If it was set up like this site here: https://bitbandit.eu/

then a user would receive an automatic payment address without making an account, or have the option to register an account for future reference. Once the user deposits 1000 bits into the account he gains access to the server and can play.

From here there can be multiple ways to structure the reward. It could be based upon size, or kills or both.

But the simplest implementation would be that 1000bits = One ticket into the server.
If you get a kill, you absorb/claim that kill's 1000bits ticket
If you die your initial 1000bits ticket will also be claimed by your killler, but you will keep your BTC from kills.

Another variation of this could be that if you get a kill you claim that persons 1000bits plus 50% of their kills.
If you die you loose your 1000bits ticket plus 50% of your kills.

A third variation could be the combination of the two scenarios above but the second is applied only when you become a certain size. There are really endless ways to structure the reward scheme.

Another way is the higher up the leader board you become the higher the cash prize you can claim.  That will mean you can't get anymore money when you've hit #1 though so hmmmmm.

There is a difference between size and rank though we must consider.  You can be huge and still #2 with #1 chasing you around when even huger.

The ways to score the betting are endless though yep.

On thing which isn't in the current game (that I've seen, anyway) is that you'd need a way to cashout. Once I'd deposited and eaten a bit I might want to jump back out so that I don't (inevitably) get eaten and lose my money to the bigger blob.  But if people were able to cashout like this, it might mean that you'd have so many fewer blobs that the game might lose a lot of its fun.  I dunno.

You are more then free to belive what you wish. Your current posting is only accompishing my goal of not having my primary account trolled in ways you like to troll others.
Seems like your goal is to continue Quickseller's failed smear attack from several months ago.  Alas, I thought those days were behind me but I can see that since QS is no longer on default trust, you (ahem, he) probably don't have anything better to do now
Quote

My primary points in this thread is that you like to derail threads, which is something you just admitted to doing in your most recent response. The reason why your post was deleted was because you were derailing a thread, which is what you do very often.
So, if you look a leeeetle more carefully at the OP, you'll see that I was complaining about being modded for trying to stop a flame war.  That's not the same thing as derailing a thread.  Derailing a thread is quite literally what you're doing here
Quote

If you wish to bring up my post in the PD3 thread, then I was warning the owners of PD3 of your shady behavior. I apoligize for stopping your ability to further steal from PD3 with your faucet bots, yet the right thing to do is to prevent thefts that you like to partake in from occuring.
WTF?  I have no idea what you are talking about with faucet bots.  So you are making up accusations and spreading them around and calling that the right thing to do?
Quote

It is no wonder why you wish to make it so easy for scams to be pulled off
I have no idea what that last line is supposed to mean.  But we're done here.  Bring your bullshit lies and nonsense to scam-accusations if you actually have something to say.  I'll be reporting your future derail attempts to the mods.  Good luck in your campaign of hate.
1448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Someone should make agar.io for bitcoins on: June 10, 2015, 06:46:00 AM
Okay, you guys, I finally went to agar.io and I get a javascript alert "Your browser does not support this game, we recommend you try with Firefox".  But, here's the thing, I *am* using firefox.

Did you disable local storage or web socket communication?

Yah, I keep localStorage disabled on firefox (and while I figured that might be the source of the trouble, I thought the "try again with firefox" message was pretty funny).  I tried it again on Chromium and it was pretty damn fun.  I couldn't figure out how everyone else had a cool skin tho.

Also, I would not put bitcoin in that thing, I was terrible!  My best was like 200.
1449  Other / Meta / Re: flamewar b/t Bicknellski and Dogie; lighthearted reply deleted w prejudice on: June 10, 2015, 06:39:03 AM
FunFunnyFan, clearly you are quickseller.  No one else has this kind of hate or vengence for me.  I've been around this forum for nearly three years and caused no trouble and done nothing wrong.  Not sure why you got that stick up your ass to go after me but it seems that it's still there.

For the last time, echoing TF's accusations doesn't make them true.

Next thing, I didn't "troll anyone off of default trust".  I have no power to set or make default trust.  You were trusted by BadBear and by Tomatocage and if you think I have some special pull with those guys, you're basically crazy (well, actually, it kinda seems like you are crazy anyway, but whatever).  Those guys make their own decisions and I don't think they have any special place in their hearts for my feelings.  Also, I'm not sure what you think that trust graph proves, it looks to me like 3 people have excluded me and 1 person has specifically included me.  That doesn't excatly seem to me like I'm leaving a trail of scorched earth behind me?!

Now, you are incessently trolling me in this thread which is not the topic of the OP, meanwhile you accuse me of being a thread derailer.  Irony?

You're doing the same thing in the PrimeDice thread, it's also off-topic there and thread derailing behavior.

If you feel like there's some scam I've done the please feel free to make a thread in the scam accusations board and I'll answer you there.  If you keep trolling me in every thread I've posted in, I guess I'll have to hope that the mods will clean up your mess.

Actually, I'm locking this thread as what I said in the OP has been said and replied to.  FunFunnyFan (most likely Quickseller) is not adding any value to this discussion (that I can tell) and if he has a flame war to perpetrate, let him do it in his own thread.

This is a good idea. tspacepilot has a history of using bots to gain small payouts that he is not entitled to. These small payouts will add up to a lot of money over time. I would be willing to put up a wadger to say that tspacepilot is behind some of the faucet farming that occurs in PD3 and other faucet-enabled gambling sites.

It is people like tspacepilot that ruin the fauct at PD3 for everyone.

People should be aware that FunFunnyFan is most likely an alt of Quickseller, who seems to be back on his mission to troll me endlessly.  Wow, QS, you're really stooping low now.
Please take note that tspacepilot did not explicatly deny trying to scam PD3 of it's faucet funds by using bots to manulipate the faucet and steal from PD3. Instead tspacepilot tried to distract from the conversation and claim that I am someone who tspacepilot likes to troll.

If I were Stunna, I would work with Theymos to try to find either an IP or bitcoin address connection between tspacepilot and the people who are ruining the PD3 faucet for everyone. Remember that tspacepilot has a hisotry of using bots to exploit weaknesses in sites giving away money.

Lol, people should be aware that this dude is accusing me on another thread of being a chronic thread-derailer.  Irony?

While we are talking about what people aren't denying, we should not that you did not explicitly deny being Quickseller and attempting to troll me to death on multiple threads.

well there are some people making maybe 1btc weekly on bitx campaing as no limit on it well is the best payout campaing running for sure Grin

But to participate, you also have to give up your privacy (cell phone number).  And, IDK, I don't really have that much to say each week.  I rarely go over the post limits on dadice and when I do, that's fine.

In my opinion, folks that are getting paid to post more than 100 times per week are really the ones who are going to get signature ads shut down.  I see a lot of spam on the boards these days.

Hi guys,
I think I'm in bad luck for today. Anyone have any idea to explain this can happen even I'm using 49.5% chance ?
Here's my red streak  Sad
...

Ooh, me, me, me.  I can explain it.  Wait, it's already been explained before, so I'll just use a hyperlink.  Hope that's okay: Click here!

Note for the link-wary: it's called statistical variance!
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to make coinbase transaction of the Bitcoin Genesis block spendable ? on: June 09, 2015, 11:09:15 PM
It was a quirk, but now it's intentional, is what I was getting at Smiley  The relevant part in theymos' post:
Current versions of Bitcoin-Qt handle the block/transaction databases in a totally different way, so the genesis block's transaction is now just a weird special case in the code
( emphasis mine )

Sounds a little like a quirk which was reified for posterity or something like that.  Anyway, thanks for the clarification.  I guess Satoshi has plenty of spendable bitcoins if he ever wanted to actually do that.

I have commit your questions and ideas into the script.
Now the php-script for the playout is readable for any user.

As dooglus has said in other threads, even publishing source code isn't a guarantee that the same binary compiled from that code is what's running on a particular server.  I'd reconsider making your site provably fair, just showing this source doesn't acheive that.

One major issue is that we can't know which deposits are from the house.

1459  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcoin-jackpot.org a simple fair lottery on: June 09, 2015, 09:16:11 PM
Hello, I can explain the mathematician,

Example:

Player 1: 1,0 mbtc
Player 2: 5,0 mbtc
Player 1: 10,0 mbtc

together: 16 mbtc

now create a random number between 0 and 16

0-1 Player 1 win
1-6 Player 2 win
6-16 Player 3 win

Thats absolutly correct simple way to realize the different chances.

Sandra_Johns, that's indeed a correct way to distribute the probability.  However, we'd like you to be able to prove the part I bolded: that the number is actually random.

@RHavar, that seems clever, modding by the amount of satoshis means that you distribute the probability according to buyin---nice!

@Sandra_Johns, see @RHavar's solution please!

Don't worry tomorrow by this time the site will be up again and the cold storage wallet will be provided.

That's good to hear and that'll be good to see.  It's unforunate that there's been so many scams that people have to be cautious about giving negative reputation---however, given the history here, it makes sense.  Nevertheless, I, for one, will be happy to see you clear your name if you're really providing a legit service.
