1441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a table/text file with sizes/transaction # of all blocks in history? on: June 19, 2015, 07:46:26 AM
Most of them are nearly the same!
https://btc.blockr.io/block/list/
If you know code, you can write a simple script to abstract them in one page!

Thank you for that! I will try and write some code to scan all the block data and yield the stats I need. I will share the tables and code here if successful.

Basically aiming to find all blocks with only 1 transaction, with that 1 transaction being the block reward. The size and vout_sum parameters will be useful.
Great. Some ppl may need that as well. The table might be very long, you can seperate them in different pages and share us with the link!

1443  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep buying bonds when the government is in debt? on: June 19, 2015, 06:56:05 AM
Even we know the gov is keeping printing money but we still keep buying bond! Because we know bond is one of the most secure  investment tools and our economy is inflationary. In order to counter this situaton, we seek bonds as our secure invesytment. As long as the economy is running well, we will get paid back plus interests.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scoring coins on Tech, Community, Devs, Name and Market Cap on: June 19, 2015, 06:39:14 AM
no much difference in http://coinmarketcap.com/. The top coins are always involed with much efforts of dev's participation.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create a sovereign bitcoin economy in your community on: June 18, 2015, 08:12:14 AM
Do you mean bicoin is directly paid for the required goods or services? More and more merchants are accepting bitcoin payment beyond cash! IMO merchants wouldn't dump cash or card payment yet due to their dominating status.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is a Bitcoin whale? on: June 18, 2015, 07:44:15 AM
For me a whale is a something can change the price and change the people to panic mode xD
Some one have 10000+btc if he/she can't turn people to panic mode, I think he/she is not a whale.
IMO a whale is someone who has a lot of fiat or bitcoin, can pump up and dump down the price, influence the market sentiment etc. Some things like this often are on the news, some whale are to launch a hot bitcoin related products, like Winklevoss Twins, or some whales predict bitcoin doomsday and sell a large portion of his bitcoin stash.
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Business owners, have bitcoin payments boosted your sales or not? on: June 18, 2015, 07:34:19 AM
it open the doors, to those who are willing to pay only in bitcoin, still a niche market, but it is growing, but it is not increasing by much, and in the case the increase will be bigger, you will end up with less "fiat customers", because bitcoin is actually steal customers from its competitor, it's not bringing new one on the table

I can see that you gain the bitcoin market, but I don't see why you would lose the Fiat market?

I have never been put off by somewhere accepting alternative payment methods!  Sometimes a little shop not accepting a debit card is annoying, but if I go to a supermarket that accepts debit cards, but pay with cash, that doesn't negative effect me!

i mean if those that were using fiat only, switch to bitcoin only in your store, it is obvious, that there is no advantage for you in this, you will have the same revenue in the end
Bitcoin is still the minority's game. The store will offer bitcoin payment method beyond existing payment method and attract bitcoiners. In the end it will boost your revenue. But you offer bitcoin payment only method, the majority of using fiat customers will be annoyed and go away. You will have a big trouble! You are losing revenue not keep the same IMO.

1449  Other / Meta / Re: About farming accounts on: June 17, 2015, 06:37:10 AM
I don't think it is worth to farm accounts here! You can just join signature campaign and earn more! I take exampe of coinut pay per post sig campaign (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=992660.0)! For full member, you post 100 times and get 0.09 BTC in one month! For farming an account to earn that amount of money, the account level should at least reach to full member and and all of posts should have quality! To reach this level , you need to take 4 months and post 120 times. Besides that , you should remember to post at least 1 between two weeks' time otherwise you take more time to reach that level!
1450  Other / Meta / Re: Help!!! Loan repaid but trust ratings not removed on: June 17, 2015, 06:16:48 AM
If OP pay many times than the  original loan amount, he deserve to  get his negative feedback removed! He means to stay here with his original account and rebuild his trust! What is the point to create another account? It is encouaging opening new accounts once his account faces some trustworthy issues. But it is still the same owner.
I suggest OP first discuss with the loaners and get him confirm you paid the loan publicly! You need to provide the tx for the loan repayment and sign a message from the sending address to prove yourself!

1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coin twitter on: June 16, 2015, 08:04:38 AM
IMO It can be applied to altcoins trading as well! Their dev team always upgrades news through Twitter! We can grab this opportunity when there is a big announcement. The price will be boosted a lot! It is a time for us to involve in it.

1456  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy vs EARTH how will be the future? on: June 16, 2015, 05:05:45 AM
IMO the environment policy should be based on the different area's situation, such as poorest or war-hit countries in Africa, Middle East. The ppl there are striving to live. So the priority for them is to fix their issues and develop their economy. When ppl get basic living standard (enough food to eat, house to live, basic entertainment), they will develop economy and put focus on the environment at the same time!
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: Has The Lower Price Really Been Great For Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 04:47:17 AM
It is really not good for the ppl who bought at the peak of 2013. They fear the price continue to decline! The crashing price is impacting bicoin's image a lot! Bitcoin is known to be volatile, unstable etc. It is realy not a good investment from the wall street guys' point of view.
1458  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should we have a "made in China" bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 02:35:04 AM
It doesn't make any sense! It will bring chaos to bitcoin industry! Do they have different quality or features needed to be labelled? I don't think so! Chinese miners are geting a large portion of bitcoin being the envy of all of the bitcoiners from other countries. What is wrong with the Chinese miners? No at all! They contribute a lot of hashpower to secure the network.
1459  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Introducing BTCBonus.net - bonus payouts everyday! on: June 15, 2015, 09:22:52 AM
The return is too high to be true! I wonder the resource of your payouts everyday!
1460  Economy / Lending / Re: People taking too many loans? on: June 15, 2015, 09:17:51 AM
there's no doubt that a lot of it is simply padding trust. that's why, above a certain amount (.5-1 BTC) i would use escrow regardless of trust, because it really isn't that difficult to get a green trust account. people are definitely gaming the system.

Yep, always use escrow but you should always ask for a signed message from the buyer/seller and the escrow since those accounts can be sold, i doubt a super trusted escrow account would be ever sold but someone with a little bit of green trust yes, i have seen many.
Nowadays lenders are always careful to issue out loans. The will check the loanee's reputation, posting history, loan requesting record, etc, to minimize the risk! And some rules are alway followed by them, such as "no collateral no loan for the low member users", collateral selection,  reputational escrow preference etc.
