1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: October 20, 2019, 06:30:08 PM
Really if there is any way to erase scammers off crypto space it would have been better, 2019 would have bring better results for altcoins if not for scam projects everywhere scamming new investors, now scammers are scaring off new crypto investors wannabe since there is no trust or whatsoever and investors don't want to lose money either, whatever the next altcoin results is going to be will not be huge as many expected due to investors not trusting new altcoins anymore, no wonder why binance launchpads are selling out in seconds.

If crypto space is just like how binance managed IEO project in return for their own reputation altcoins will be skyrocketing right now because much more money will flow in, exchanges like binance is giving out trust investment that I really hope the entire altcoin space can do the same but its a shame scammers are robbing off the trust
We cannot actually clear those people off easily. There are lots of scammers here, we can recognize them by the steps they do and we can also eliminate them by reporting them into the administrator/manager. But in terms of wiping them out, I don't really think we can do that. I believe that they are to blame for making the community worst, they are taking advantage of other people just to earn money. That is not fair. We are here to earn and to support crypto but I think the only way we should do is be careful of every step we take. And we should not trust anyone. You should be alert because your money is involved.
1442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: October 20, 2019, 05:59:21 PM

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

Maybe it is the one who is considered king because of its price and volume. We can see that it has the highest price than any other cryptocurrencies. And also the volume is much higher than any other coins. Bitcoin is one of the cryptocurrency that most used. Because of its features, cryptocurrencies are making any transaction easier than ever before. In terms of the price of bitcoin, I think it is not done yet about rising up. We can see that it is stable in price right now. But if we continue to support crypto and still investing and promoting it. We can gain more investors which is better for the market.

Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy

Bitcoin is a great cryptocurrency that holds lots of great capabilities to uplify an economy from nothing to everything. If some of the countries in the world would start using bitcoin, there is a huge probability that most of their economy would rise since bitcoin is a taxless currency and most of the fees you need to pay for it is not as expensive as the tax people are being asked about. Also, if the value of bitcoin grows, it would surely boost up the economy of that certain country. Let's hope one of the country in the world would try it someday so we can see if it's a fact or not.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: October 19, 2019, 05:00:22 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
I think it depends on your investment. Some investments does not require so much time before you benefit from it while some requires lots of patients before you can get what you really want. You are right about the fact that you can sell it at any time when it's above the initial capital price but do you think you won't regret it sooner or late. You will sooner think that you could have just waited more and you shouldn't have let your feelings overflow leading you to an unwitty decision.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 19, 2019, 01:49:34 PM
Hi, many people are still complaining how many ICOs ended up as a scam.
The cryptocurrency idea is to create a free worldwide decentralized ecosystem. Free for all, for honest but also for dishonest people. It is free market and you should protect yourself before losing your money. You donīt like it? Then you do not understand crypto.

They get scammed still because they lack knowledge and they always feel on taking some precautionary measures before joining a certain campaign. They should first read the whitepaper as a whole and not just a scan, also they should check the members or the team. If you still get scammed, then you've picked an useless ICO. It is your responsible already to pick and find a good ICO so you can't really blame it on them. The number of ICOs are still growing so it is very difficult to find a good ICO definitely so be careful and smart always on picking.
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: October 19, 2019, 11:36:24 AM
when patience is being tested,
what are you doing in this market, is your routine still the same as usual or change other options?
selling at a low price is the same as selling a loss, and that is not a good solution. if you are a market player, you will know how to survive or take advantage of the market in any condition.
When it comes to my strategy, it depends on the crypto I am investing with. If I can see it as a strong currency, then I would not choose any other option, I would stick, wait and be patient on it since I have my faith on it. I understand why you consider selling loss as the same with selling in low price and that shouldn't be tolerated if you are looking for great profits. If you want to gain much, wait and make sure that your coin is good enough so it would be worth the wait.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 19, 2019, 11:05:47 AM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

It was simply because they lack knowledge and they trust easily. They are not careful and they don't read the whole thing they are joining or weary about those who they trade with. The wallets can also be dangerous so we should find the best wallet that can be fully trusted and those that was tried and tested by many to be trustworthy. Greed can also be one of the main reason why, we should be contented and patient if we really want to earn lots of money because sometimes, those who crave for much are the ones who gets nothing unlike those who are patient.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 05:14:07 PM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?
There are really helpful tips for everyone who wants to gain benefits and be successful when joining a campaign. It is very important that you read all the details included in the campaign you are planning to join in. Make sure also that the purpose of the campaigns is for the greater good of many. Try searching the history of the team too, who knows? Maybe it is just a scam since it is dessiminated everywhere nowadays so be careful on picking a campaign to join in.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 04:49:11 PM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

We cannot really jump into conclusion so soon about having a world where cryptocurrency leads the monetary system. There are a lot of assumptions saying that it would make the world a better place regardless of the sacrifices needed to be done for it to happen. It would make a huge impact on everyone's life most specially to the old ones who've grown to the culture of using fiat and will surely choose to die using it rather than crypto that they don't have any idea about. It is a risky move for the world so we should first keep on researching on how it can happen in harmony.
1450  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 17, 2019, 04:22:25 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
We cannot really force people to use bitcoin as a currency as soon as possible, it will surely take time and it will be a very long process. We should be very careful with the process because even just a tiny mistake on it can make a huge impact on the perspective of those who are unaware of the existence of bitcoin for sure. It would also be a strategic way if we are going to share our experiences in bitcoin and try showing some eye popping proofs that would make them want to go and try bitcoin.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: October 17, 2019, 03:54:43 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Not all of the time for me. We cannot really say that the poor ones are all fools. It is not their fault that their rich when their government is stupid and greedy. If you have all the resources and ability to earn large amount of money but still chose to slack still, you can be considered stupid for you are going to be stuck in poverty your whole life. Try considering the fact that not everyone gets the chance to earn money and find a stable job so if you have one, better not waste it.
1452  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 17, 2019, 03:23:36 PM
Dear all,

I bought 2 BTC when it were 18k USD/1BTC and lost all my other assets with BCC 400usd.
I still have been keeping them with the belief that it will recover and over 20k.
it is too long time and that makes me so tired, i need money to invest a plan, but there is no money
Do you have any idea?

thanks
That was quite a risky move you did out there, you bought bitcoin while it is at its highest with the belief that it would keep on rising. You should have thought about it hard first before doing so. Now, all the choices you have left is to just wait and see if the price will rice back again or just let it go and accept that you've lost a large amount of money. Be careful next time so that you won't have any regrets anymore when crisis starts to occur once again.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 17, 2019, 02:49:22 PM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.

Before becoming a monetary system, Bitcoin must be able to preserve value over time. After that, he becomes able to earn society's trust and become a genuine cash.

People accept dollars because they believe that money is still backed by gold (as it was until the end of Bretton Woods), or because (unfortunately) they believe the government will guarantee the value of the currency.

That is, people believe in Dollar because they are sure that money will be at the same value tomorrow. Although this is not true.

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.
It is not really ideal to spend bitcoin now considering the fact that its price is still recovering from one of the worst crisis it has ever faced on all of its existence. We need to be mindful of the decisions we make right now because it will be the one responsible for the outcomes we'll recieve in the future. The volatility of bitcoin makes it more exciting to invest with, it can either be in your favor or not so make sure that you have all the patience to wait and see if your investment is worth waiting for.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 07, 2019, 03:01:33 PM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...
Faucets, airdrops, bounties, these are the ways that I think one could get free altcoins without investing any amount. But I won't guarantee profit from ways of such because most of the tokens from projects are having no market value due possibly due to the negative market situation. Just to add, I have tried before cryptogambling in order to earn profit from cryptos, also, not needing to invest that much. But keep in mind that it is gambling, so expect the risk.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: October 07, 2019, 02:41:14 PM
The situation in the market is indeed frustrating but I don't thini selling at this moment due to panic would be the solution. There are still cryptos worth holding despite of the fact that most of its market value keeps on falling at thid moment. We never know what would happen before this year end so for now, holding I think would be a better thing to do than to sell out of frustrations.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: October 07, 2019, 01:57:52 PM
It usually surprise me when I see investors complaining about a good project that didn't increase  or providing returns immediately it got listed on the exchange and they term it scam or say different things like rekted.
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?  Because if you are investing in a project because you believe in it then you should be willing to HODL the tokens and wait for the team to gradually deliver the project and meet its necessary roadmap before you judge it and not condemn it on its first listing.
I do understand what OP is trying to point out. But I think we really cannot blame those who are losing their patience from their project investments since they are expecting for profit which is normal when you have invested for something. It is really a waiting gsme but waiting for too long kills the profit itself. What do I mean? The time an investor have put waiting for the profit is being wasted along with the money they have invested in to those project rather than earning profit if they would be able to invest the expected "net" from their engagements. Projects nowadays are just really hard to predict because most of it are failing.
1457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2019, 01:25:27 PM
Hi all,

I want to invest some money in Bitcoin (long term investment)
It's better wait the next fall down (like the situation on December/January), or buy now?
Otherwise fixing a target for example 7000 or 8000 $ and buy in that moment?

Thank you in advance for your suggestion

It does depend on your mindset as an investor. If you are ready to risk for huge profit, ofcourse, investing at this point would be a total advantage especially once the market value of not only Bitcoin but most of the cryptos, start to move upward. But the problem is that, pumps are still blurry at this moment. So it is a bit of a 50-50 scenario. If you are that confident with what you are invedting at, then go, but be sure that the amount that you would be investing is an amount that you can afford losing; that's hat investing is all about.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 07, 2019, 07:41:35 AM
Some people have been bounty hunters for a long time (e.g, for the past 2 or3 years) and till now, they are still on the act of hunting for more altcoins.
It is true that the reward hunters now get is so small compared to what was obtainable 2 to 3 years ago and not only that, it now takes more time to be paid than it was. So, instead of complaining, why not through some of the experience you have got, since your sojourn in the crypto space, explore other means through which you can earn more and fill your portfolio.

N.B:
This might be like  a vital information. There are lots of projects that did bounty campaigns (although not all), which have decided to extent the time of payment of tokens to their bounty participants. Whose tokens are growing tremendously after listing on exchange. Which means that traders and investors of projects like these get their profits before bounty hunters are paid.

DISCLAIMER:: Although, this is not an investment advice, but an observation, which i have decided to call your attention to.
As a bounty hunter before, I do felt the same thing. Nowadays, bounty projects are no more profitable. The bounty campaigns are directly being affected by the situation at this moment. You would really waste time on some projects for being not profitable. But as what OP have mentioned there are other ways to earn alts from projects. I have tried gambling and investing to coins unlike spending the whole time on bounties just like what I have done before.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 07, 2019, 07:13:19 AM
The problem I think has something to do with its market value stability. We can clearly notice such problem at this moment. Currencies are created in order to promote equality with the world market, correct me if I'm wrong. This I think is the main reason why Bitcoin and other cryptos are having difficulties to be accepted in some countries simply because its market value drops at some time, as what we are witnessing at this moment.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is 1st then? Other Alts? on: October 07, 2019, 06:37:01 AM
Is Ethereum second?

If so wich Cryptocurrency Will be third, 4th. 5th.??

What You think wich coins are competing with Ethereum?

I Think Ethereum and Bitcoin are number one!

3rd. I Think its a BCH.

BCH, XRP, LTC, NEO, BNB and the likes I think, would follow the lead. But the bottomline here is market volatility  How can I say? The market itslf is becoming more unpredictable as days goes by. There will be days in favor for some cryptos and days which are not. This implies, in my opinion, that predicting which one would be on top when pumps took over the market would be difficult at this moment. Determining which one would be profitable is a bit blurry right now. We should rather focus holding and prolonging our patience at situations of such.
