14581  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will I automatically receive bitcoin cash on blockchain.info? on: July 29, 2017, 11:52:21 PM
At the moment Blockchain didn't announced if they will support the fork.

But even if they don't, you can export your private key from your Blockchain wallet and import them in a wallet with proper instructions on how to "cashout" your BCC. But remember that it would still be better if you move your bitcoins to an offline wallet like Electrum before the fork.
14582  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitmixer.io - Waiting more than 6 hours of mixing - NEED HELP on: July 29, 2017, 06:28:22 PM
He actually posted here right after my last post saying that he indeed got scammed by the fake website "BITMIXOR". Looks like he deleted the post because he was also asking for donations to "help him recover his losts".

Would be good if OP lock the thread now that everything has been solved already.
14583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Birds by Bitcoin.com on: July 29, 2017, 04:03:37 PM
The site was working half a year ago but last few months they did not pay my account for the RT's.
Now I cannot login with Twitter, even if possible the site does not pay.

Anyhow I think they are still in experimental stage. They best can keep it simple and payout for the amount of followers.
RT's based on a chance to win a tiny fraction does not appeal to anyone. They simply want their fair share.
I believe that they just stopped working after someone found out and posted on reddit how Roger Ver and co were paying users to retweet and like their tweets against UASF and Core.

14584  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange without ID verification on: July 29, 2017, 11:48:18 AM
-snip-
I don't think Bittrex has the option to sell/buy Bitcoin with USD right?

And IMO, it looks like OP is asking for a exchange where he is able to do exchanges between Bitcoin and real money, and not limited only to BTC/Altcoin tradings.

OP, unfortunally it's very hard to find an exchange that allows this kind of trades without requiring any ID verification because of the AML and KYC laws. In this case, it would be better if you try to do local P2P trades in the Currency exchange board or maybe find a seller/buyer at LocalBitcoins.
14585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question about BTC, BCC And Exchanges on: July 29, 2017, 10:30:53 AM
If you have Bitcoin at the time of the fork, Bitfinex give you 1:1 BCC for the same amount of BTC you have on your account.

After that, you can withdraw your BTC and leave your Bitcoin Cash there.

p.s: They are listing the Bitcoin Cash as BCH and not BCC.
14586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nice looking paper btc wallet on: July 29, 2017, 10:17:30 AM
Try bitcoinpaperwallet.com

I like their design the most and it's a trusted website. Just make sure to download the source code and run yourself in a offline PC to make sure there is no malwares trying to steal your generated keys. They have some custom designs made exactly for this: gifting to a friend.

You want to print bitcoins on a paper and give it to your friend? Really?
I really don't how this could be a problem. Stop spamming to increase your post count.
14587  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What bitcoin wallet that can import private keys in android phones safety? on: July 29, 2017, 02:17:22 AM

14588  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What bitcoin wallet that can import private keys in android phones safety? on: July 29, 2017, 02:10:39 AM
For now, Mycelium is the best without any doubts. I have been using it for months and it's great.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycelium.wallet

I wouldn't use Blockchain and as far as UI know, Copay doesn't allow you to import a private key
14589  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Phone number online on: July 28, 2017, 06:30:04 PM
I recommend you to use smspva.com

I have used them multiple times with Telegram and Steam. It worked well all the times and the price is as cheap as $0.1 or $0.05 depending on the service you want to activate with SMS.
14590  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitmixer.io - Waiting more than 6 hours of mixing - NEED HELP on: July 28, 2017, 05:49:53 PM
This can't be possible since BitMixer closed his services last week, and it's not possible to mix anymore.

You probably fall for a fake version of the site like bitmixor.io which means that your funds can not get recovered anymore. Sorry for your lost.

14591  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2 weeks had passed. on: July 28, 2017, 04:38:39 PM
Those periods of 14 days are actually server based and not starting from the time each user registered.

Here is a list of all the ACCURATE start dates of the 14 day periods till 2060
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA

This means that the next period will be at 8/1/2017 17:53:20 regardless of when you registered.

I was registered last June 12, 2017.
Doesn't matter because you made all your 77 posts in the same "period of 2 weeks". You will need to post at least once in the next period to increase your potential max activity to 28.

Btw, please stop spamming to increase your post count.

14593  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium on ipad and iphone on: July 27, 2017, 11:27:41 PM
Are you saying your entire wallet is empty on your iPad? Or are you talking about the specific address showed in the "Receive" tab?

You created a HD wallet, which means that your wallet will generate a new address after each transaction to increase your privacy, but your old ones will stay in your control. Read this to understand better: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Deterministic_wallet

Your wallet should be the same and it should contain your whole balance if you imported the correct seed. So, I'm assuming this could be the problem.
14594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a board on this forum that deals with the sale of mining rigs/gear? on: July 27, 2017, 09:43:01 PM
You could try to find out a seller in the "Computer hardware" board. Just by taking a quick look, you can see that almost all thread there are about products related to the mining of Bitcoins.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

If you need some help building your mining rig, make a proper thread in the "Mining > Hardware" or "Mining > Mining support" board.

Hardware: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0
Mining support: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0
14595  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 27, 2017, 08:43:05 PM
What could be a reason for using a mixer if everything is legit? Just curious

Because privacy matters.

I'm just going to quote here the "Why should I mix my coins?" page from the recent closed BitMixer.

Why should I mix my coins?

While using bitcoins is an excellent way to make your purchases, donations, and p2p payments, without losing money through inflated transaction fees, transactions are never truly anonymous. Bitcoin activities are recorded and available publicly via the blockchain; a comprehensive database which keeps a record of bitcoin transactions.

All exchanges require the user to scan ID documents, and large transactions must be reported to the proper governmental authority. When you use Bitcoin to pay for goods and services, you will of course need to provide your name and address to the seller for delivery purposes.

This means that a third party with an interest in tracking your activities can use your visible balance and ID information as a basis from which to track your future transactions or to study previous activity. In short, you have compromised your security and privacy.

To avoid this, we recommend using a quality mixing service such as the one we provide to periodically exchange your bitcoins for different ones which cannot be associated with the original owner. In order to further enhance the security of your transactions we provide the opportunity to use two or more forward addresses as well as convenient time delays. In addition, we immediately delete all archival logs related to your transactions.
14596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinCard - Your offline wallet companion (Offline wallet cards) on: July 27, 2017, 08:30:15 PM
The said product is suppose to be storing bitcoins as a cold wallet, what happens if I lost card gets stolen or lost ? Will the new owner be able to have access to my private keys or they're stored in a centralised server in your database ? I hope you have the answers ready.
Your private key will not be stored in any server ever.

As they said previously in this thread, you will give them your private key encrypted with a password you choose previously, and they will make you the card with the BIP38 private key printed on the backside. If you lose the card, the new owner would have to brute force the password to have control over your coins.

Read in the same image you just quoted above what is written in the card.
14597  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ViaBTC releases BCC (Bitcoin Cash) trading on: July 27, 2017, 06:59:38 PM
What happens if i sold my bcc pre tokem and bcc won't fork?
They will 100% release the Bitcoin Cash fork.

But... in case they don't, you would probably get your frozen Bitcoins back and nothing would have changed.
14598  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Redrose vanity address generation service on: July 27, 2017, 03:40:56 PM
How many custom characters are you willing to accept generate? Please specify for each case sensitive and insensitive.

Would be good to write this into the thread to avoid users asking for a vanity address with 10 custom characters.
14599  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: how do i backup electrum wallet on several usbs ? on: July 27, 2017, 11:15:36 AM
a. Find your wallet file on the Electrum folder and sent it to each one of your flash drives.

On windows:
  • Go to C:/Users/YourUserName/AppData/Roaming/Electrum/wallets

On Mac:
  • Open Finder
  • Go to folder (shift+cmd+G) and type ~/.electrum

On Linux:
  • Home Folder
  • Go -> Location and type ~/.electrum

b. Save your backup seed on a txt file and sent it to your flash drives.
14600  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [ Selling ] Steam Account +40 Games [ Current account value : $242 ] on: July 27, 2017, 12:18:52 AM
I really hate to say that, but your account isn't worth close to $16. I can say for sure that at least 80% of those games were given for free. If not more or all of them.

People would pay some money for accounts with quality games like GTA V, The Witcher 3, DOOM, etc. But thats not your case, and most of those games are shit anyway.
