1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if the bull run refuses to come again? on: February 08, 2019, 03:23:57 PM
To be honest, I'm not 100% here for the profit. I want Bitcoin because I could use it to for daily transfer of money around the world. There's a company that handles Bitcoin wallet which we could use to pay bills, buy loads, game credits and more. So I don't really care much if Bitcoin refuses to go bull.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 08, 2019, 03:14:56 PM
That's what I noticed too. It's really hard to get a decent project nowadays so I abandoned bounty hunting. I'm still waiting for things to start going well again before bounty hunting. ICOs are dead for now. There are way too many scams than legit ones and legit ones don't guarantee success. People are not forgetting ICO, it's just that, they are avoiding frauds for now.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if designer handbags were 80% off? Your gf would... on: February 08, 2019, 03:10:38 PM
Because that's a bad comparison. Handbags are tangible and can be used in the long run while 99% of the altcoins today are cryptocurrencies that don't even have any real usage to the world. Handbags have a set price while Bitcoin and altcoin doesn't. Even if it's 80% it would not guarantee a profit.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: February 07, 2019, 10:45:13 PM
Yes, it's dead for now. You really can't expect to get some profit in this bearish market.  I would say that you should go and just relax for a bit. Those who are saying ICOs are dead are still hoping that they would gain some profit from those bounties they've participated in. I suggest that you invest in something that has a product already, something that has some use.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 07, 2019, 10:41:02 PM
I see. You should first read what Bitcoin really is before you invest, you should know what you are going to invest to because most of the time, people just put their egg in a single basket hoping to get rich, and when a dump happen, they follow. If you are still new, Investing in Bitcoin is a good choice because it's down right now and it naturally grows unlike 99% of altcoins.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: February 07, 2019, 10:18:56 PM
You can't stop people from comparing those cryptocurrencies they don't know what is the difference. I would say that you should just ignore them and move on with your life. Dumping is happening because investors and hope for something are not enough. Without any new development, no new investors would hold.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a reason to stay? on: February 06, 2019, 11:19:37 AM
Because Bitcoin is very useful for me. I use Bitcoin without any hassle of transferring money around the world. Tax is not a problem here so I could use Bitcoin freely without the worries of the government. It does gave me freedom that the others doesn't have.

1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: February 03, 2019, 10:37:53 AM
Have you heard Bitcoin 2? If you haven't yet, you should check that out. It is one of the most promising projects this year in my opinion and has been having good development so far. The price is fairly cheap and more development coming soon. You should check this out
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens on: February 03, 2019, 10:34:33 AM
Nope, not my thing. KYC is what makes me stay away from projects. I remembered I joined the bounty campaign of that project months ago but my reward hasn't been given yet. There's no way I'm giving my information to something because I'm not sure what will they do to it especially when information can be sold.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: February 03, 2019, 10:30:13 AM
Everything has its own pros and cons. Yes, we are using a decentralized technology but I think it's normal to happen even though it's bad. We really can't avoid regulations especially in these times when scams are everywhere. The Government would take some serious actions some day.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I own 1 full Bitcoin!! on: February 03, 2019, 10:27:06 AM
That's actually a nice move mate. Compared to last year's price, Bitcoin today is fairly cheap and with that, congratulations in achieving at least 1 Bitcoin. If you are looking to make a profit, always set a price goal. You might get greedy enough to miss a good price.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: February 02, 2019, 11:59:29 AM
What do you mean by profitable? Really, it depends on how people use cryptocurrency to make a profit. To be honest, 2018 gave me some decent profit and at the same time lost some, but that's normal. I think 2019 would change that in a good way because there will be some big news soon.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: February 02, 2019, 11:53:22 AM
1. There's a possibility that most altcoins would reach its all-time high when Bitcoin reach $20,000 again.

2. Only select few would be an alternative because of how the ICO had gone through. Most are scams and failing. Only a handful are able to make a name in the crypto world.

3. I believe that old coins still have better chance to grow than new coins. Most new coins nowadays are pump and dump which some are relying on and it's not good. I would just hold my old coins which is proven to make me more profit.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 02, 2019, 11:38:49 AM
That's not going to happen. 90% of the projects being made are scams trying to make some quick buck. They won't pay people even a cent which is why they pay token which they made and which cost nothing to them. That's the reason why I don't bounty hunt now. I'll wait for a couple more months to see what will happen.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: February 01, 2019, 03:48:16 PM
Actually, that's not new at all. There are already a lot of Bitcoin ATM's are in place but anyway, this is still a piece good of news for everyone, gamblers and traders alike. Imagine having Bitcoin as a legal currency around the world, that would be awesome.
1477  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 01, 2019, 03:44:35 PM
ADVFN "opinion", they haven't proved anything yet. You are making a statement that contradicts your points. This is just predictions, meaning, there are chances that this will not happen and that you will only lose some. Right now, you need to sit back and accumulate more Bitcoin if you want to profit in this bearish days.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: February 01, 2019, 03:35:09 PM
What I mostly do is pay bills using cryptocurrency because here in my country, a company handles Bitcoin wallet and pay all the taxes where you don't have to worry about any purchases made. Also, it is faster and that my family prefers this over others.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pinnacle now accepts Bitcoins ! on: January 27, 2019, 03:02:28 AM
Well, I guess that's good news though. There's already a lot of betting online in cryptocurrency but I guess a new one would spread the name of Bitcoin even if only a handful of the audience got it. Now let's see if it will last or they will remove it.
