Theymos, would it be possible to update the trust.txt data dump much more frequent than once a week?
1462  Other / Meta / Re: | Irrefutable Evidence that Lauda is running the forum with alts and "bitches" | on: January 12, 2019, 11:52:17 AM
This picture looks about right. Cheesy There may be more members involved in this cult, but they remain hidden in the shadows.
I was wondering where I am indeed, but I'm fine with keeping a low profile lurking in the shadows.
1463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New gambling site BTCJUA.com is systematically lying about their operation on: January 12, 2019, 11:46:33 AM
Not sure which archive you are talking about. Unfortunately, I have not archived the page while the previous post of non-payment was there. Hence, I wont argue much without proof.
It's my personal archive, I've scraped all new posts since September 12.
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: How would a government go about getting into BTC? on: January 12, 2019, 12:10:28 AM
The Dutch government would probably lose an usb-stick with the private keys in a taxi at some point.

I'm curious how they would trust employees to keep funds safe.
1465  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS - FACTS BASED POST - only interested in hearing HIS OPINION . Thanks. on: January 11, 2019, 06:18:54 PM
Seriously? This entire wall of text, and nothing about me at all?
After summoning me dozens of times, apparently there's nothing worth sharing with theymos?
I'm disappointed! Lauda gets all the game again.
1466  Other / Meta / Re: My 25 sMerit offer for a single post on: January 10, 2019, 05:59:19 PM
I hate drama movies, I can only add merit it if it makes me laugh.

I'm now thinking of an animated gif from the Fuhrer I think it's called.

So, in about 100000000000000 years you may find one, only to realize you're still a few digits short.
1468  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 09, 2019, 06:52:29 PM
Interesting changes, my main account is off DT2, my trust rating went up, and amazingly Lauda went from being excluded on DT2 to being DT1!

I'll have to start thinking about who to include now, this really forces people to stop using only the default list.

Question about #3: say someone is included by 12 but excluded by 5: is he eligible?
1469  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll: is it OK to send merits to your own alts? on: January 09, 2019, 06:23:17 PM
Lol, you don't have to scrape threads to find merit, theymos publishes a data dump for it.
1470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got the most beautiful and amazing signature in this forum! on: January 09, 2019, 01:31:12 PM
Nothing wrong with your signature, but this topic isn't helpful.
I suggest to create a proper scam accusation.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: January 09, 2019, 09:48:46 AM
What about sites that claim to own 30 Bitcoin bankroll but refuse to sign a message, because "they keep it on an exchange"?
1472  Economy / Reputation / Re: cryptohunter's problem with the top 200 merit receivers on: January 09, 2019, 07:25:14 AM
WTF? Why is LoyceV an absolute imbecile and I'm only a total imbecile? I feel like you're discriminating against me due to my lower merit score. That's it, I'm trowing my toys out of this thread and not talking to you until you start calling me "legendary imbecile sir"
That is strange indeed, cause although you have slightly less Merit, you're a much bigger circle jerk gang member who distributed much more Merit than I ever did!

And as for calling names when you're out of arguments: what are you, 12?
1473  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source on: January 08, 2019, 02:48:34 PM
Just ran out of smerits and saw this thread (I have bookmarked it).  But I have one question, I'm mostly active on the Beginners & Help board and sometimes Politics & Society board so I'm inquiring if there's any restrictions to some boards because most post I come across are not of that high quality but deserve meriting & right now I don't have smerit to send.

Also I'll love to appeal to merit source since I can get their attention here.  Please when meriting our posts please increase the allocation. I'm not complaining of not receiving merit (I do receive so thanks) but please try increasing the amount you send. I get an average of 1 smerit from normal user I just feel it isn't fair receiving the same amount from you guys with exception to few.  Thanks. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
Post the links, good or decent quality is enough.

As for the amount per post: I make it a point to empty my source, the amount I send depends on the post quality and how much I have left.
Sending more per post means meriting less posts, but thanks to doubling my source I can send more.
1474  Other / Meta / Re: Is the Default trust system still working/active? on: January 08, 2019, 02:39:51 PM
One solution, the one I mentioned in that quote, is to dilute DT list heavily. Also the sole purpose of it should be defined strictly. If such a default list structure exists, it should solely be a list of people unlikely to scam others, it should be nothing more, nothing less.
I disagree: I want people with good judgement on DT. Not being a scammer isn't enough. Example: I don't think cryptohunter is a scammer, but he has terrible judgement.
1475  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll: is it OK to send merits to your own alts? on: January 08, 2019, 11:27:44 AM
It's even worse. Why is merit needed? To rank up. Why is ranking up important? For earning (bounty, signature,...).
I just want to wear a(nother) hat Cheesy
1476  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Is it a blatant scam? on: January 05, 2019, 03:25:58 AM
Bounty participants received only 1% of all tokens, not 5%.
When I log in, my tokens are there indeed. But what good does that do me without buy backs?
I hold about $700 worth of tokens. I didn't sell them earlier as it was supposed to be a hedge against Bitcoin price drops, given their stable dollar value.

Please tell me how I can sell them at the advertised dollar value.
I guess you can sell them on the on-site exchange, but the best offer is currently: 0.0000008 BTC  which is only 3% (?!!) of the supposed face value. It's kind of funny how he can try pretend that investors haven't been screwed. When btc prices were higher than the "buy back price", he was more than happy to make a (personal) profit. And literally the minute things turned against him, he renegs.
Make that 0.3%.
1477  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Is it a blatant scam? on: January 04, 2019, 11:21:35 PM
First off, investors have had 600 Bitcoin returned to them, from the initial ICO funds.
I own 85% of all tokens now. There are likely 5% held by bounty participants who will never log in to BetKing ever again, but if they do their tokens are there

And it's gone again Sad

I know it's not really gone, but this makes my mobile wallet pretty useless.

Consider the ⅔ multiSig wallet. A and B and Me hold each key. What about A and B plan to move fund without my knowledge. I lose my investors fund and the project is dead.
If "you and your trusted guy" are needed to control funds, your investors lose everything in case you disappear. Wasn't escrow supposed to eliminate that risk?
