Proof of scam ?
Common sense.
1422  Other / Meta / Re: Black screen when loading forum pages in chrome. on: February 14, 2019, 12:57:05 PM
I'm on android 8.1 and chrome 72.0.3626.105. I think it's an issue with the browser but it only happens on this forum?
I've upgraded my chrome, it's the same version now.
Since the upgrade, my screen is blue on some pages. When I scroll a bit, it's okay again.

I blame the browser upgrade, not the forum.
1423  Other / Meta / Re: Paying twice to enable posting? on: February 14, 2019, 04:23:06 AM
According to the OP the fee was paid a long time before the increase but perhaps it was a few sat short. That's the only plausible explanation I can think of. If it was paid in full then the increase shouldn't have affected it retroactively otherwise half of the forum would be banned.
OP paid the evil fee, but never posted.
My guess is the payment is checked at the time of first posting, and because of the increase in fee, OP had to pay the difference again.
1424  Economy / Reputation / Re: Legendary account for sale - is this enough evidence to tag? on: February 12, 2019, 07:58:34 PM
I don't see any real evidence, anyone could post the same for my account.
1425  Economy / Reputation / Re: Calling out allyouracid to justify your Feedback on my profile (Community too) on: February 08, 2019, 05:48:07 PM
Add ;dt to any URL for default view: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=560412;dt
1426  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: February 08, 2019, 04:25:11 PM
It seems to me like that whole list of users (if each is actually involved) should just be permanently blacklisted and the problem goes away.
That seems excessive. They're insignificant to DT.

I'm kinda curious what would happen if someone adds a million users to his Trust lists. That may mean a timeout on every page.
1427  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: February 08, 2019, 04:01:42 PM
In which case there are probably more of the snakes distrusting me by now.
They're distrusting me too now. The irony: they trust the Trust Lists I provided, and use my data to decide they don't trust me Cheesy
I guess logic is not their strong side.
1428  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: February 08, 2019, 03:55:52 PM
I put a certain established poster here in my personalised trust list last night. I’ve signed into btctalk.org today & checked who trusts me etc & it seems the following users have distrusted me presumably as a result of putting said established poster in my trust list -
Assuming you used loyce.club/trust for the data: last night's action didn't cause this. The data is based on last Saturday's data dump.

Also, please use the BBCode to copy trust lists to the forum, it's much better!
1429  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hate a DT1 member? Or two? All of them? Post your grievances here. UNMODERATED on: February 06, 2019, 05:03:22 PM
We just got rid of the last " Merit broke my life" trend, only for to start a new "DT's broke my life".
Why all the drama?
That took a year, this will take another year.
And a year from now theymos will come up with something new for his ant farm us.
1430  Other / Meta / Re: [UPDATED] LoyceV's Trust list viewer (updated weekly) on: February 03, 2019, 01:56:27 PM
After much confusion at how I was being so stupid and seemed unable to accurately count beyond 10, it seems your Ranking Up Pipeline is over-counting in some categories by 1. I think it is due to you counting everyone as a "vote" for themselves - so users with 250 or more merits have an extra vote in this category, while users with between 10 and 249 merits have an extra vote in this one. At least, that theory holds true for the 4 or 5 accounts I was interested in.
You're right, I noticed this too last night. It's not ready yet for real use.
1431  Other / Meta / Re: [New] LoyceV's Trust list viewer (updated weekly) on: February 03, 2019, 07:55:24 AM
I'm sure you know this already but all the username links on that page are broken.
It's a sneak preview of my next thread Wink
1432  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Money Stolen from Electrum on: February 02, 2019, 04:53:31 PM
You downloaded a compromised wallet. That link comes from a hacker who created many fake Electrum servers.

This was in the news recently, the attackers earned quite a bit of money.
1433  Other / Meta / Re: Request @theymos: Can you show userIDs instead of user names in trust.txt.xz? on: January 31, 2019, 03:53:45 PM
I think both is probably better than just using one...
That would be even better indeed.
1434  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BPIP not showing User's Account on: January 31, 2019, 12:17:48 PM
From my experience, I think BPIP misses about 0.2% of the accounts.
If you're looking for a Merit history, I have complete files. See my merit analysis thread.
1435  Other / Meta / Re: Why I think Copper Membership is a must buy on: January 30, 2019, 05:40:36 AM
I'm actually curious as to how much mods get paid, but I don't expect anyone to answer that, nor am I even asking the question.
It's Bitcoin: see the blockchain, Mods' addresses are in their profile.
1436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto-Jackpot.com free 22$ to bitcointalk users on: January 27, 2019, 05:09:41 PM
If you have to deposit to withdraw your balance, it's very likely a scam.
OP, can you escrow enough funds to ease people's minds?

Summoning LoyceV.
1437  Other / Meta / Re: Improve draft feature, seriously! on: January 27, 2019, 08:21:49 AM
I copy long posts to a file once in a while when long posts take a lot of time.
It's also useful if I ever mess it up editing later.

My Firefox usually restores open editing too when I restart it.
Have you checked your browser cache for a copy of your work?
1438  Economy / Reputation / Re: A boycott of replies to the recent extensive trolling by cryptohunter on: January 22, 2019, 06:06:13 AM
Judging by his feedback from greenspaces, he was an "Angry kid annoying the hell out of forum members" 5 years ago already.
The only thing that changed is that he moved from the Altcoin boards where barely anyone reads his posts to Meta and Reputation
At more than 50 posts per day, I now see threads with an ignored post almost every other post.

This summarizes it nicely:
cryptohunter you need to go out & get laid, find a fucking hobby or something man.
1439  Other / Meta / Re: Top 200 Active Members who have earned most Merits but have sent 0 sMerits on: January 20, 2019, 08:59:05 PM
I checked the first user on your list, and he has sent Merit recently.

I'd like to make full list now Cheesy
1440  Other / Meta / Re: A privacy question around the usernames on: January 20, 2019, 05:37:05 PM
Something just crossed my mind.

What about GDPR? Shouldn't we be able to see what data theymos has on us and be able to delete everything if we want?
Theymos on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1902503.msg18991383#msg18991383: "I intend to ignore all stupidity coming out of the EUSSR."
