1101  Economy / Reputation / Re: Viewing unedited posts and deleted posts, view per post, per user or per topic on: December 24, 2019, 06:33:36 AM
Hey Loyce, are you aware that BPIP is currently redirecting to your home page? Kind of weird... I know its off-topic here but I thought you should know.
I didn't know until you told me. Vod got hit by a HP bug that wiped his drives, guess this is a temporary solution until he restores s backup.
1102  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red trust removing. Conditions. on: December 23, 2019, 08:38:33 PM
I've even mentioned such a condition inside a (neutral) tag:
Quote
   PM merit begging.
I am willing to remove this once you have earned 12 Merit. Note that I don't mean just receiving 12 Merit, the merited posts have to deserve the Merit too (and I'll be the judge of that). Once you qualify, PM me and refer to this trust rating.

I've also asked someone who wanted a tag removed to create a topic in Reputation, and bump it daily for a week to see what the community thinks about it. He never created the topic and kept asking the same thing, so he ended up on ignore.
1103  Other / Meta / Re: Merit abuse by merit source in the Russian local on: December 23, 2019, 12:14:18 PM
I can't read Russian, but my first impression is that those posts aren't bad. So the merit could be deserved.
1104  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT MEGA DUMP THREAD [DUMPING 100 MERITS] on: December 23, 2019, 11:03:34 AM
Craig and Roger Ver are scammers.
After all the outrageous claims, what if they're the same person? Craig is Roger
1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Best technical specs to generate millions of keys per second (not mining). on: December 22, 2019, 09:39:57 PM
Can you share what your trying to find?

A cpu in my experience is about 20 times slower than a gpu. So that's the price difference that makes a gpu server worth it. I've looked for them a while back, but never tested it on a server.
1106  Other / Meta / Re: Trivia: 100000th merited post on: December 19, 2019, 08:46:13 PM
And a metric ton of other hints, what is taking you all so long!!!  Grin
I'm still on my couch, just saying....
1107  Other / Meta / Re: Trivia: 100000th merited post on: December 19, 2019, 08:35:08 PM
So basically bones merited someone (actmyname) on Meta for thread/post about Merit  approx a year ago.
This is what I came up with till now with my poor English.
And "someone" is a well-known forum member (this was the first hint).
1108  Other / Meta / Re: Trivia: 100000th merited post on: December 19, 2019, 05:13:01 PM
Hey, I am on my couch!
1109  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Chain or Merit Coin (Is it possible?) "May the trust be with you" on: December 19, 2019, 03:09:47 PM
I trust the DT1 jury of 100 people more. Only 1 Escrow can judge how much?
I don't think many of those 100 members will be very happy to show up for jury duty for every single case that is debated.
1110  Other / Meta / Re: [PREPARING] LoyceV's alternative for Piggy's @mention notification bot on: December 15, 2019, 09:01:20 PM
I made some changes to my first post, but I'm not sure if that's what's needed for an update.
I scrape this topic for every update. By the time the topic gets too long to quickly scrape, I'll separate the Notification update from the user list update. My To-do keeps growing.

Removing your post would end your updates.

Another to-do: only upload a page if something changed.
1111  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Piggy disappearance and the Notification bot issues, discussion thread. on: December 15, 2019, 05:39:09 PM
I can't help you find Piggy, but I'm working on an alternative for the notification bot: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209773.0

It's not yet ready, but users can apply already. For the users who subscribe before it's working, I'll notify them retroactively from the moment Maggiordomo went offline.
1112  Other / Meta / Re: [RELEASED] @mention notification bot - now with Telegram on: December 14, 2019, 08:44:50 PM
Would it be possible to have the bot let you track a specific thread? There's some threads that I've created where I'd like to get notified when someone replies, even if I'm not explicitly mentioned.
I wasn't planning on adding that, because the forum offers that feature already: click notify on the bottom-right of a thread.
1113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The misused of merit on forum..... on: December 14, 2019, 06:10:46 AM
OP, Admin said merit sources should empty their source. Of they only find a few good posts in a month, they should give all to them so they can merit others again.
1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reality of Merit on: December 12, 2019, 05:46:43 PM
I've merited hundreds of Newbies and I'm not very picky, but OP isn't getting any for this post.
1115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PLEASE HELP! Coin Developer Want To Stole my Coins (1 Million Dollar) 5k$ Prize on: December 12, 2019, 05:38:48 PM
So you think you're holding a million bucks, but in reality you have a shitcoin that's not even listed anymore.

They dropped the price when they sold all their coins to the idiots who wanted to buy it. It's worthless.
1116  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Mycelium Wallet will not synch - Help required to get my Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2019, 10:03:02 PM
It happens to Mycelium sometimes, and usually just waiting a bit is enough to fix it.

Do you have your seed word phrase as a backup? Is so, you can always restore your funds in another wallet. Just don't post it here, don't trust anyone who offers to help (in a private message), and don't rush things if you're not sure what to do.
1117  Economy / Micro Earnings / 10 x 1000 Satoshi (Lightning Network) for joining as my referral on an exchange on: December 11, 2019, 08:11:54 PM
3 steps
1. Use the (red) referral link in my signature to exchange some (small) amount of crypto
2. Send me the Reference code of the exchange (or post it here) so I can verify it
3. Post a LN payment request for 1000 Satoshi

To get started and see how this goes, I'm currently limiting this to the first 10 users only.

This topic has 3 goals
1. Gain referral users
2. Increase Lightning adoption
3. Promote a small exchange that I like

1118  Economy / Services / Re: LoyceV's Avatar for Rent on: December 11, 2019, 06:34:51 PM
Thirty-eighth week paid.
Thanks again!

Posting from mobile now, as I'm very happy with my newly discovered ability to add "on mouse hover" to links in my signature!
And on mobile I'm slightly slower than my usual.
1119  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn satoshis by completing free offers and surveys - Payouts via Lightning ⚡ on: December 11, 2019, 05:51:48 PM
Regarding 1), what do you kind of things were you looking for in the homepage? We would definitely love to add more information to it. Let us know!
You can start by showing all available offers, if like to see what you require to earn 100000 sat on Lightning.

After testing several wallets, I'm sticking to a custodial LN wallet for now. That makes transactions much easier, saves on fees, and for amounts of only a few dollars' worth I don't mind the risk.
1120  Other / Meta / Re: I'm running for becoming the new Trading Discussion Moderator on: December 08, 2019, 07:36:17 PM
It doesn't work like that.
First, you should post this in Meta.
Second, I'm curious how many good reports you have on the board you want to moderate.
