1481  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: need help finding wallet on: January 18, 2022, 10:45:00 PM
yeah these online wallets are pathetic. Kraken support generally takes only a couple hours at most a day.
COinbase is just as  inept as those wallets as ive yet to get my 2FA code resent.
the first code expired since it came about 2-3 days later when i wasnt around my computer  and now i cant get a new one sent.
i cant believe some people consider coinbase top five exchanges !?
No, I won't, all custodial and online/web wallet isn't worth it to entrust your crypto asset.
Just do as suggested on the first page, Electrum is very reliable upon storing any amount as long as your private key is in your control, not like those wallets that I mentioned above, the online/web wallets which you didn't have full control of the private key, remember this rule "Not your key, Not your coins".

Don't leave your crypto assets on any exchange platform too, maybe it's considerable in a short term but not in the long term.
1482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I need your advice on Bybit vs Phemex on: January 18, 2022, 10:25:26 PM
I am just collecting opinions on Bybit vs Phemex in order to decide on which exchange to trade.
Everything information that you need is on the internet and I think you need to have research for this of which pros and cons that suitable for you API that you wanted to build.  There's a review of Bybit and Phemex exchange platform and both of them has different pros and cons and if you will compare both of them they had the same low profile which is the same result of the review, it's average given 3.5 stars.

I never heard Phemex and Bybit seem familiar when I was joining their faucet before when they are launching their exchange.  I don't know technically which is better but I think, choose the exchange that is available in the US and supported USD, Bybit isn't available in the US.
1483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freewallet Bitcoin deposits delay on: January 18, 2022, 10:02:39 PM
I would rather choose a noncustodial wallet like an open-source wallet which is you have your own private under your control, like Electrum.
That is not a wallet, they seem like an exchange, a very shady exchange that has a ton of complaints against them.

For further information just have a deep research on this board (Scam Accusations) and on the search bar just type the name of the wallet that you've meant and you will find out that there's a ton of thread there created towards them.

I advise you to transfer your fund quickly.
1484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2022 bear market? on: January 17, 2022, 11:59:38 PM
The prices of all cryptocurrencies are constantly falling. Personally, I think this is just a correction, but many experts say the price of BTC could go down to $30k. If that happens, it could mean the beginning of a bear market. I hope it doesn't and in a few months we will have new ATH.
Nope, I'm still having a positive prediction that Bitcoin will not fall down to $30k with this year but you're right, Bitcoin was now facing a short correction and the reason could be Bitcoin harder to recover from being deep because people are still affected by the FUD.  Look around, Bitcoin has been adopted and legalized in the most country so I don't have a doubt it will drop further beyond $40k.

Possibly, there could be a bull market if there were country continue announcing Bitcoin becomes legal tender in their place.  More adoption means it will increase the demand and it could become the price becomes higher and higher.
1485  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC - Dogecoin withdrawals on: January 17, 2022, 11:53:21 PM
I used them before I dont have any problem but when they start requiring KYC compliance, I didn't use that exchange anymore.
That exchange platform has always had wallet maintenance in any blockchain wallet and I didn't expect until now that still their problem and it could be the reason people keep avoiding this exchange.

My question is, is your Dogecoin can be tradeable to other coins like XRP if you care about the fees or directly to Bitcoin.  I so, divert it into the other coin and withdraw it to your wallet.  If you don't have that option, there's nothing you can do is to wait until the withdrawal becomes available.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2022, 11:45:09 PM
But yea, as the marketcrap increases, it's just going to get harder and harder.
This is the reason Bitcoin becomes harder to manipulate when the market cap increases too much and keeps it going, it becomes harder and harder to manipulate and I tend to agree with your statement.  I believe Bitcoin can be still manipulated but in a different way like spreading FUD or other bad news in social media that turn people to become panic selling.

So is that good for motivating other countries to make it legal tender as currency?
Those countries that have been done adopting Bitcoin are already having dip research and I think they found out that there's a potential in investing in Bitcoin because not only 1-2 countries now have been doing this, there are few of them which means each of them saw a brighter future embracing Bitcoin.
1487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: January 17, 2022, 11:09:26 PM
It's a nice blog and this will help people who want to be a trader but if you're from the scratch, you have a lot of things that you learn not only by reading the article.  There are too many factors to consider before you will become a good trader, in your "Traits needed to be a good crypto trader" I have something to add with your criteria list and it is "greed and focuses in your goal".

It's a very crucial part of trading when you have a lack knowledge on trading because you're in hurry on it without the patience to make study and research, people like you is what newbies looking for, it's a great help for them to read your article that full of knowledgable content.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always do Some Research Before You Start Staking on: January 17, 2022, 03:59:15 PM
I Agree with that advice and it must be done first before anyone gets involved in investing or staking process First, just make a thorough research about the project that was offering the said services so that the risk can be minimized because crypto platforms are built only with trust and most of the time that so-called trust was betrayed mostly by the project team itself because of money. so that was good advice.
We can choose maybe 4-5 exchange platforms where we can entrust our assets for staking.  That's the problem here when you want to stake your crypto asset to an unpopular exchange platform, you don't know when someday those platforms will suddenly shut down because you're staking on a lock-up period which you can't unstake within that period.

Another risk could be a failure of a project that you have chosen to stake, so don't expect too much, invest only of what you can afford to lose because we never know what will happen in the future if you're only relying on staking.
1489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you find out to invest or not in a coin? on: January 16, 2022, 11:55:06 PM
Like the title says, how would you decide to invest in a coin or not especially a new one with a low cap marketcap.
I think that this is the answer.
I will not invest in a new coin with a low market cap because it is too risky. It is like betting where we may get very high profits by the pumped price. But on the other hand, we may lose more because of the dump price. That is how commonly new coins with low caps work, the pump and dump cycle.
It's quite risky to invest because a low cap is also prone to the pump and dump which is we commonly witnessed from a pump and dump group.
For sure the safest for now to invest is in Bitcoin because even top altcoins follow the price of Bitcoin.

If it is about a new coin with a low cap, I will not expect too much for a long-term investment.
If you invested in a low cap altcoin, it seems you gamble your money and that's not for a long-term investment.
But if you're willing to risk an amount that you can afford, there are new coins that is worth it too but you need to have a deeper research first.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most active KYC free exchanges? on: January 16, 2022, 11:21:36 PM
I am wanting to use some KYC free exchanges, what are some of the most popular / active ones? Quicker trades are what I'm hoping for. It would only be for small amounts - < $25 If they offer altcoins that's a bonus, if not it's no problem.

Thanks.
Go for Kucoin, they have a great service and a great platform without asking for any KYC, altcoins are also available on this exchange and you can trade that amount there though I don’t suggest to trade that much with your $25 since the fees of trading might not be enough for that money if ever.
Kucoin is the best choice when you want to trade into other altcoins using a small capital, you don't need to worry about the KYC because you're within a minimum limit.  This exchange platform supported more coins and based on CMC trade volume which is a good amount to start trading which your order execute very fast.  With 750 pairs to trade and supporting more than 380 cryptocurrencies, it's a good place for a purpose of trading while avoiding KYC.

But this is good if you're outside in the US.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uruguay installs its first Bitcoin ATM on: January 16, 2022, 11:05:40 PM
E-governance is not too familiar with this term and will like you to please share more light on how e-governance works and what country is practicing this type of government around the world, I know Bitcoin ATM is a good development that will make Bitcoin more accessible to it end-users with the help of pos and ATMs.
It's good news on Bitcoin and the community that the adoption becomes widely operated through these ATM machines.
We hope that all countries are the same open-minded when it comes to cryptocurrency or adopting Bitcoin which e-governance will benefit more from embracing this new technology.

Coinatmradar shows a rapidly increasing number of Bitcoin ATM machines worldwide and it seems a good sign that Bitcoin has the potential to become more expensive after for how many years and it could be the price of $100k is possible to achieve which the most anticipated moment for most holders.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People Who Suddenly Get Rich From NFT (non-fungible tokens). Is it true? on: January 15, 2022, 11:55:48 PM

We definitely don't know the ultimate truth regarding those transactions. But yes, some people are lucky to sell their NFT arts at an expensive price. But don't get your hopes up as not all people can imitate their success. A lot of NFT collectibles will be trash very soon. So if you want to try to get hands on NFT, make sure you do your own research regarding the authenticity of the item. Otherwise, you will be one of those holders of a worthless item.

Personally, I think that these NFT collectibles is a temporary hype and that the interest will drop in this after a while. I don't get the buzz around these NFT's but as always, multiple people have made a lot of money out of it. That's also the beauty from crypto. There are always new ways to make money if you really want.
I tend to agree, it's all about the hype that could someday it will fade away.
So for now, it is yes, it is true that NFTs sellers suddenly get rich and most of them are those young artists who have skills in art.
Here is a blog of sales report about their NFTs that has been sold.

Even a simple art could be interesting to others and possible those collectibles are becoming expensive someday.
1493  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Oxchanger.com] Deposit Any Coin to forward Other Coin on: January 15, 2022, 11:19:59 PM
The website works properly and without problems.
There is no reason to close the site.
Sounds good!

But why only 5 cryptos are there that only supported?  I clicked the "governments" option on the main page I thought what it was but that is a term of use, maybe it's appropriate if you will put a "Term of Usages" thank the governments.

Anyway, where is the online calculator on the main page that you have said?  Is there any option when choosing on a speed of transaction and the fee, seems like low transaction and high transaction?  It will greatly help when Bitcoin mempool will become congested and the fee becomes too high in the future.
1494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CAN YOUR BITCOIN BE STOLEN ? on: January 15, 2022, 10:56:38 PM
It's a rare case but its possible Bitcoin can be stolen even without exposure of private keys in different factors.

Don't use a custodial wallet, they're prone to hacks.  We have several stories here of hacked Bitcoin wallets using the custodial wallet and for now, a better wallet could be an open-source hardware wallet that doesn't leave any trace or footprint even you have used on a computer that is infected with malware.

Keep your private key safe not online and it should be offline, everything on the internet are possibly prone of hacks.

1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian mayor to reportedly invest 1% of city funds in Bitcoin on: January 14, 2022, 11:34:29 PM
Investing 1% of the city funds is almost nothing, I didn't know how much the overall fund they had but I think 1% allocated is a very small amount.
It seems they are trying a small amount that they can afford. Cheesy

But the good thing is the exemption on the tax which is the right thing to do than trying to regulate Bitcoin on their own which they can't.
I know the government is fully relying on collecting Taxes, it may be they understand how Bitcoin will work.
1497  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 11, 2022, 11:55:45 PM
Bitcoin has continued to follow a similar pattern in its market recovery and stability, if you have focused more attention on the recent bitcoin price movement you will agree with me the fact that when Bitcoin falls back to the 30k region in three early hours of Monday
(.....)
It is just showing that the $40,000 level is strong support for Bitcoin right now, but we will close a daily candle below $40,000, that's the time I can say we may experience some short-term - midterm bearish.
I am still looking forward to Bitcoin being sideways with a range of $40,000 - $50,000 until this month, just a choppy sideways.
I would say, it's possible.
Bitcoin has been managed to rebound yesterday and until now, though there's no sign of a bullish trend that will happen I think it's enough news for me that there is still good news that we heard about countries adopting and there are few last investors who were invested Bitcoin.

I'm thinking that this could be our chance to accumulate before Bitcoin will create a bullish trend with this year.
I'm still positive that there's possible Bitcoin will make again a new ATH with this year.
1498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 11, 2022, 11:48:31 PM
I lost a lot of money as a trader for a year, so I gained a lot of experience in trading.
As they say, experience is the best teacher that could make our mistakes becomes corrected and avoid those mistakes that won't happen again, so I think that's the important thing while you're learning in trading.  There are no perfect traders even how long your experience is because the price is always unpredictable and no one can guess which direction it will lead or which coins the right choice to invest.

If you have a consistent loss, I would say, don't be hurry in trading, just keep practicing or find a crypto trading platform that has a copy trading option which is while gaining experience you can avoid heavy losses.  It could be also a demo trading is quite helpful for you.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 11, 2022, 11:12:43 PM
.... Perhaps this is the beginning of a new rally? Is it time to enter the market? I think yes, since we are not that far from a possible second bottom, and even if the lease continues, in any case, we need an upward correction.
It's nice to see some greens but I would still be careful buying any altcoins at this point since I have limited funds.  Wait for a few more days but I guess that's still up to you if you have extra cash available.
I tend to agree with this, altcoins are quite risky to invest especially those who didn't in the top 100 in the CMC in the highest volume.
Anytime could be a good time to buy altcoins or Bitcoin, there's no time frame for that, when saw altcoins have corrections (those top 100), just grab it because there will be a chance and potentially gaining profit when it will go up again.

Be careful investing in altcoins because they aren't good at investing in the short term, anytime they will crash depend on what altcoin you have chosen.
Instead of altcoins, Bitcoin would be better because as we can see, Bitcoin prices swing altogether with altcoin, which means it almost tied up the price.
1500  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mining on: January 11, 2022, 10:58:18 PM
How can I mine bitcoin from my android mobile phone?
Think first if these android mobile phones now are capable of mine cryptocurrencies, it seems it needs high RAM before you can do it, or else your mobile phone will be exploded due to the heat that may occur.  Why mobile phone if you're interested in mining?  They aren't mining equipment.  Just choose mining equipment such as mining rigs, this machine has the capability to mine crypto.

I have heard before that there are mobile phones that can able to mine cryptocurrency but I think that it not will work, the result could be malware that could be infected our device and steal your private data.
