1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinye/COYE<->BTC fixed exchange (.15BTC/mil) on: January 10, 2014, 04:00:12 AM

Hello,
  I will sell 2m for .3btc. pm me.

JIm

.14*2=BTC.28

I didn't knw the price went down.. skipped allthe middle posts..

I have about 2.18M coy.
Price didn't go down. There's a spread for me to make a profit on. I buy @ .14, sell @ .16. Smiley I'll take the lot @ BTC.3056, though.

Can take COYE @ 5mw4MSnCyNAHfShonC8JWQz8rssY137KPH

However, I'm having an issue with Armory and going to sleep soon. It's looking like it'll have db rebuilt and be all set in 1-2h. You might want to hold off on sending until tomorrow since I won't be able to send BTC until either Armory's finished with its business or I wake up.

-Or, if you're cool with waiting - BTC addr?
1502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who rents hashes for alts? on: January 10, 2014, 03:54:27 AM
I see people offering to sell "mining time" frequently but I just don't get it.  Why would anyone sell hashes for less than they're currently capable of producing in the highest valued coin?  It seems like an intrinsically bad deal for the buyer...
It's
a) effectively a loan for the duration (unless there's escrow involved)
b) Zero risk. No variance on returns. You'll get exactly what you plan on.

1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinye/COYE<->BTC fixed exchange (.15BTC/mil) on: January 10, 2014, 03:45:54 AM
Minimum order amounts raised since I was underestimating how much tx fees cut in.

"Closing" in 22m from this post. Reopening "after I wake up." Unsure if prices will remain static at tomorrow's open.

Alright. Will give BTC address when I solve issue with Armory. Shouldn't take more than 30m. @Paper: I'd imagine this is worrying. I'll sweep a privkey into blockchain.info wallet to pay. Shouldn't take more than 10m. Sorry about all this.

i have 400,696 more to sell. whats your offer?
BTC0.056
Received. (waiting for network conf)
Was waiting for COYE network to confirm. Armory was being goofy (clicking "send" didn't do anything), so restarted it. ETA: 30 seconds by Armory's ETA ("Scanning Transaction History"), but it's been goofy before and usually takes 10-20m to resolve. 30m ETA to be safe.

ETA (edited, not estimated): Armory's fucked up its transaction history (again)... need to -rescan. If it makes you feel better, this usually happens every 2-5 transactions. Armory's actually been on a roll today.

Received. Just to instill fear and be shady in general, I should report Armory's giving me issue. This usually happens once every 3-5 transactions, so we've been on a roll, relatively. Should be resolved within 30m.
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinye/COYE<->BTC fixed exchange (.15BTC/mil) on: January 10, 2014, 02:50:23 AM
I think you should move the price to 0.20BTC/mil at least.
If you buy out my stock @ .16 and place an outstanding order @ BTC.2/mil - sure!
In fact, people will be attract by your low price because you are trusted user like me Wink
Although you make a fixed value to keep the lowest price, it make the market not freedom likely...
I want to know is there anybody buy some COYE from you?
Not a single buy order, yet. I'm COYE-neutral. Idunno what it'll do, so it's not like I'm particularly interested in acquiring 5M COYE at a "low" price. I just want my .02BTC spread repeatedly realized. Grin

ETA: I do have interest in COYE, though. It's not innovative or anything, but the media attention from the West lawyers gave it something big to bootstrap to. So - interest, but no grand expectations.
1511  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Google Glass on: January 10, 2014, 02:38:32 AM
These are really geeky - just my opinion.  I've seen them on the subway a few times and I've ALWAYS heard random people ask what they were.  I guess it could be a good way to talk to girls but...the hot ones won't bite.

Wearing geeky glasses is not a good way to chat up girls Wink
Unless you can text with 'em. Bitches love smiley faces! Smiley
1512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overstock.com now accepting bitcoins as payment! on: January 10, 2014, 02:35:13 AM
Do you need a Coinbase account to purchase items?

What is the effective conversion in USD you get from each btc?

You don't need a coinbase account. I used my bitcoin client on my computer to send the BTC for my order.
Same here. Don't even need an Overstock account.

^Still haven't seen it hit wallet fwiw.

Market will be "closing" exactly 2h after this post and reopening after I wake up. Wink

Haven't decided if allowing myself to move price manually at "reopening" is too dickish or not.
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinye/COYE<->BTC fixed exchange (.15BTC/mil) on: January 10, 2014, 01:59:17 AM
Heyyyyyy I just went on IRC and everybody says you're paying a stupidly low price for this >.> fml I should have done some research before selling at that price you should have given me almost double what you did =.=
Okay. Well - buy them back and sell for double. I have 1.1M in stock, only asking BTC.16/mil. If you buy a mil @ .16, you could allegedly resell @ BTC.28 = BTC.12 profit. Do please tell those in IRC to buy from me at "stupidly low prices" too! Grin
