1501  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 04, 2023, 10:30:25 AM
<...>

It's always frustrating when restrictions are imposed, but you should know that it's not uncommon in the betting world. You should definitely reach out to Cloudbet's customer support and see what's going on. Maybe there's just a mix-up or a limitation that you're not aware of. Have you taken a look at the terms of service? It might hold some answers.
1502  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Endblock.io - The New Gambling Finance Protocol 🚀 on: January 31, 2023, 11:55:16 PM
Hey @minho72, welcome to the bitcointalk forum. Just wanted to give you a heads up that this section is specifically for Bitcoin gambling platforms. If your platform only works with altcoins, promoting it here might not be the best idea.

Sorry but first thing I saw opening Endblock website is that weird looking video of woman speaking with robotic voice and picture doesn't really match the picture.

Yeah, that video was created using synthesia or a similar AI text-to-speech software. I'm not sure why some companies go for that for their marketing. That looks so fake. I mean, virtual AI actors can be neat, but it's all about making sure the message is delivered in the best way possible. It just depends on the situation. Like, you gotta choose what works best and what's gonna keep the audience engaged and informed. That's the most important thing, right?
1503  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CatChange.me Exchange Crypto to Fiat and vice versa on: January 31, 2023, 11:35:54 PM
For easier use, we have now created explanation videos for our service.
The videos are available in: English, German, and Russian
<...>

So virtual AI actors in explanation videos? I've got mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it can be pretty cool and bring some life to the information being presented. But on the other hand, it can come off as fake and not as relatable as a real human actor. Plus, I think it's pretty cheap these days to hire real actors to present your message. There are numerous sites like Fiverr and Upwork where you can find talented actors who can help bring your message to life. In the end, it's all about delivering the message in the most effective way possible, so whether that's through virtual AI actors or real human actors is up to you!
1504  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this the shilling with alt accounts? on: January 31, 2023, 09:09:05 PM
I am pretty sure that the same person is behind these accounts, but I would like to get confirmation from other members as well.
I couldn't find concrete proof for makmanaman, but the first two users in the above list woke up on the same day [I don't think that was a coincidence]:

Yeah, it would be quite a coincidence for the second member to activate just a few hours after the first and then decide to write his first forum post to vouch for him. Not to mention a similar writing style.
1505  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Tips on: January 31, 2023, 07:09:53 PM
Why don t you ask the owner of this site why is 1xbet present here on the forum, have their thread, and promote themself ?
And btw Stake that you promote I can easily beat too  Grin

Where did you get that information? 1XBet doesn't have an active thread and hasn't been promoted on this forum since 2017.

I generally agree with the comments of other members. If you are already promoting the odds of a bookmaker, why choose a casino that you yourself claim should not be trusted?
1506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of Scam Crypto Exchanges.. on: January 31, 2023, 06:47:53 PM
Thanks for appreciation, will surely improvise the post for everyone to easily figure out and share their experience if they have used any of these exchanges....

Hey there OP! I just wanted to check something with you. Did you put together this list on your own or did you happen to borrow it from somewhere else? I came across a similar list on another platform and I just wanted to give you the opportunity to make any necessary changes if it turns out it wasn't originally your work. Plagiarism is definitely not allowed here, so I just wanted to make sure we're all good Smiley
1507  Economy / Gambling / Re: slots.video - reinventing jupiter rising` on: January 30, 2023, 10:05:00 PM
Seeing what has happened, the domain is still available for purchase. Maybe @OP is still negotiating with potential buyers and not coming back here for a while.

There weren't any buyers. The original poster was fishing for investors for his casino, and claimed to have swindled nearly $15,000 from four suckers (a dubious claim, if you ask me). And just two short weeks later, the site's already gone belly up.

Make no mistake, this was a scam that tanked, and it wouldn't surprise me if the scammer pops up again with a new casino name and domain, ready to fleece more innocent folks.
1508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: January 30, 2023, 09:23:59 PM
I was trying to visit the site and I got this error:

I had zero issues getting to the site from my end and it looks like it's working fine with Tor too. Could be an issue on your side.

Quote
Does the site only allow users from USA? and what would happen with the users who opened an account in the past from restricted areas?.

It would be illogical for them to use the .eu domain if they are focused exclusively on the US market.
Don't know what happens if you open an account from a restricted country. My guess is they can block it if they catch you, though.

Quote
Is there any plan from nitro to open another casino that allows other countries? Maybe another one with a Curacao license would do the magic.

You can find a list of restricted countries in their Terms:
You are also restricted from using the site if you reside in any of the following countries: Bulgaria, Hungary, Venezuela, China, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Costa Rica, United Kingdom.
1509  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits.com The Criminal Casino on: January 30, 2023, 09:05:08 PM
We only provide information nothing else it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves

When you're making serious accusations, you gotta bring your A-game and show some solid evidence to back them up. Just giving some info isn't enough, 'cause it can be misconstrued or ignored without proper proof. You gotta make sure you have the goods to support your claims and get to the truth. Have you heard of defamation before? So if you're going to accuse someone of something, you better make sure you have some solid proof to back up your claims.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 30, 2023, 06:47:57 PM
Crypto gambling sites don't need to be completely transparent, but they need to be transparent to some extent in order to gain the trust of the public.

Some sites reveal their information to the public with good intentions while some other sites do so with nefarious intentions. Being transparent doesn't automatically translate to a trustworthy site.

Trust is earned little by little in various ways. This is why I feel that the team getting 100% doxxed won't solve the KYC issue.

Agreed. Transparency is important but it's just one aspect of building trust. It's not a silver bullet. Doing things like having fair games, prompt payouts and proper security measures goes a long way in gaining the trust of players. Doxxing the whole team might not be the solution, but a combination of various factors can help establish credibility and build trust with players. But let's be clear: there's no easy way to gain people's trust, and making all your information public could have just as many (if not more) pitfalls as benefits.
1511  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of Scam Crypto Exchanges.. on: January 29, 2023, 07:29:15 PM
Just for Information.. 150+ scam crypto exchanges..

I appreciate the effort, but there's no way a list like that could ever be totally complete. New fake sites pop up all the time - it's super easy to get a new domain and set up a fake exchange using a cheap script. So keep that in mind.
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If There could be A Time where A Man itself will be like wallet? on: January 29, 2023, 07:16:39 PM
I came across information about individuals who implant RFID chips under their skin, usually in the forearm, for storing various types of data. With this, they can easily unlock electronic locks (e.g. home, car) and even sign bitcoin transactions just by waving their hand in front of an RFID reader if the private key of the wallet is programmed into the chip. Interesting stuff! However, I'm not considering it myself yet as I have no idea about the security implications of the process.
1513  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anonymous crypto exchange on: January 29, 2023, 01:27:04 AM
Are you looking for a exchange that lets you trade crypto for other crypto or crypto for fiat currency?

You can check out https://kycnot.me/ for a list of exchanges that don't require KYC. I think that Bisq is a good option if you want to buy and sell bitcoin for fiat and you are looking for anonymity.
1514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can old people use bitcoin? on: January 28, 2023, 09:15:14 PM
The elderly have always been a prime target for scams. Credit cards, mobile payment, internet banking, online shopping, social media ... are all new technologies, and all come with their own risks. Scammers will always try to find new ways to trick their victims into handing over their money. The elderly are particularly vulnerable because they tend to be less tech-savvy than younger people. They are also more trusting and tend to believe what they see, rather than thinking about it logically. This makes them easier targets for scammers who use this as an advantage in order to take advantage of them.

However, I don't consider Bitcoin to be special in this regard. Bitcoin is just another new technology that comes with its own risks. The same principles apply: if you do not understand how something works, you should not use it until you do.
1515  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 28, 2023, 05:53:14 PM
It may sound trite, but it is always good that apart from being able to show the balance in cryptocurrency as in fuiat money, the person in the casino has the freedom to make an exchange to fiat or to any other crypto, this to be evident in the possible losses that may occur due to a sudden change in the market, then this can have an impact on saving a little in his money value, if the player is interested in having his money in a fiat value.

If you're looking to gamble with fiat currency, you've got plenty of options with traditional casinos. But for those of us who are into crypto, the volatility that comes with it is just part of the package. Sure, there's a bit of risk involved, but that's also part of the excitement. Plus, the added security and anonymity that comes with using cryptocurrencies make it worth it for me. At the end of the day, we're here because we love crypto and all the benefits that come with it.

The so-called internal exchanges would be an inflatable option of comfort, of course, it must also have its precautions in terms of its rules, that is, that players do not take an internal exchange as making use of a large Exchange.

Yes, internal casino exchanges can be handy for some, especially if you're looking to convert your balance to a cheaper currency before cashing out. But, I personally steer clear of them. They usually have less favorable exchange rates and hefty conversion fees compared to regular crypto exchanges.
1516  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 28, 2023, 03:58:05 PM
I personally perceived freebitcoin only as a faucet when I first learned about this site. I remember freebitcoin had a lot of advertising banners, and I guess this type of advertising was one of the main sources of its income at that time. So the fact that freebitcoin managed to grow from a regular faucet to a gambling site with a multimillion audience is really impressive.

Yes, it is quite impressive how far FreeBitcoin has come. Starting off as a humble faucet, like a drop in the ocean of similar sites, to becoming a gambling site with a massive following is nothing short of incredible. I haven't come across any other sites like FreeBitcoin that have managed to have such success. Kudos to the team for their persistence, and for staying ahead of the curve.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 27, 2023, 10:26:49 PM
What about laptops? They give the experience of a desktop with their large screens and full keyboards, along with the battery that in most cases will allow you to use the device for about 2 hours.
This is the best option for most uses. Probably the only downside of a laptop is its weight when you move around a lot, but there are no perfect devices. You always sacrifice something to get something else.

You know what's cool? Tablets. They're like the perfect mix of smartphones and computers. They have a big enough screen and good resolution to make using them comfortable, but they're still portable so you can take 'em anywhere. Plus, you can get online whenever, wherever. And the battery life is way better than a laptop.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 27, 2023, 09:36:02 PM
A new casino platform will never launch without money, it’s not like that you just created a website and will start your business, there are so many things involved here to build a platform, as like first of all you have to promote your platform in many ways so you need to good amount of money.
Some site launch their platform with a limited funds and most of them turns out to be a scam because they can’t totally pay their players especially with the jackpot so better to choose the site that is being honest with their total funding and can really afford to pay gamblers on their winnings. If the site is just relying on the losses of the gamblers, I don’t think that site is worth to try better to look for other option.

I totally agree, it's important for them to have the funds to cover any potential payouts. You can usually find information about maximum payouts in the terms of use. Sometimes they'll even specify how much they can pay out in a certain period, like a week or a month. But if someone hits a huge jackpot, I figure the legitimate casinos would probably just pay it out in regular installments until the full amount is settled.
1519  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 27, 2023, 09:18:00 PM
Is it still should be continued the discussion where the OP created his account on January 20 and last active on 21 January? I don't think he will come again to check the discussion that we have described here. Smiley

So It should be stopped I think and it's already enough what we have made.
Yeah so with multiple reports to moderators to lock the thread, within the short time, the thread should have been locked by the moderators.
The thread has generated enough discussion and suggestions that are not only helpful to ops, but to the rest of us, we have all learned something from the responses of others here on this thread

Yeah, you're right. It seems pointless to keep discussing this if the original poster isn't around anymore. I'll never understand folks like that.

I reported this thread as well. It's up to the mods now.

This is to inform everyone that there is a scam accusation about this project:

[WARNING] Truqoin - Fake Team

All team members appear to be fake. This is a big red flag that everyone should be aware of if they plan to invest in this project.
