AMT_Miners AKA Joshua Zipkin:
Do you have any photos to supply us with of completed units?

I expect some will receive tracking numbers for their miners on Wednesday?
1522  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 17, 2014, 08:41:35 PM
so 1.2th machines start shipping tomorrow? is this the word from AMT?
I just tried calling AMT and "because of high call volume" it went directly to voicemail.

Let's keep calling today and see how long we get this 'high call volume' nonsense.

Yea ... distract the hell out of them. That way they will surely have time to ship or to jump online to give an update.

distract them from customer service? rofl i couldn't help myself.

go ahead dude. call them over and over. make it ring NON STOP if it makes you feel any better.

point is, its not gonna make a difference either way

but knock yourself the fuck out. waste your time on that

What are you, a paid representative of AMT?

People just want an update on what is happening with their miners.

please. take your paid rep bullshit somewhere else. I'm a paying customer just tired of you crybabies.

No offense, but you're also a jerk.

No one here has been 'out of order' for wanting some kind of order update.

We should have some kind of update as to what's going on.

And where are the pictures? If it's shipping this week, then there must be some units that are finished by now.
1525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 13, 2014, 07:04:49 PM
Can't we get back on track here? This whole "he's an idiot, she's an idiot, you're an idiot" thing is getting kind of old. Fact of the matter is nothing matters on here except for what AMT has to say. We're all in this together, idiots or not, so lets all deflate our ego's a bit and weather this AMT storm as a bitcoin community.

That being said AMT please update us with a photo of units being shipped like Bitmine did on their website. Show us one of your videos of an AMT miner hashing at 1.2 TH/s. At the very least update everyone with the chip count and number of modules, please! We are all waiting anxiously for updates on our investments, the more the merrier!

HERE, HERE! Much agreed!

We should all be working together to get answers from AMT, instead of putting each other down. We all have vested interest here.
1526  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 13, 2014, 06:13:45 PM
P.S. Take this for what it is worth... IRS is delaying many income-tax returns by 21 days. (Mostly rich and middle-class people with big returns.) So, poor will actually have an advantage to buy some BTC, or other crypto, before the more wealthy can pump the market. That is my outlook. (My mother works for the IRS, so this is not like news I just read. This is essentially insider-info... lol. Try doing that on a regulated market! I love being the bank!) They must be late cashing-out all those shares from Gox... gotta wait Gox's 21 day withdraw period before they can pay us our tax-returns from the funds taken from silk-road. lol. (She thought that was funny too.)

P.P.S. I also noticed Difficulty is slowing down in growth, yet again... Adding more months of valuable mining to our hash-rates.

I highly doubt the majority of poor people are investing in bitcoin.

I think they are investing in groceries to feed their family.

Besides, you can't buy BTC with food stamps.

FRICTIONLESSCOIN: Since you're out to just resell the hardware for a profit on ebay, should people that are planning on running these miners be listening to you? What you are doing is comparable to standing in line to buy the latest Playstation, then selling it when you walk out of the door with it.

Has anyone with questions to AMT about their orders or anything else been responded to? I've seen page after page of the same people asking for updates and not getting response.

If you have gotten a response, please post it here. Thanks!
1527  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 12, 2014, 10:40:54 PM
I don't see who in their right mind is going to 'wire transfer' tons of cash over to AMT with their shoddy website, shitty PR, and general disdain towards those with questions about production schedules and shipping timelines.

The answer is YOU DID.

True, i'll give you that. But I pre-ordered very early in the process. I didn't expect this pathetic customer service, lack of updates and general incompetence. A bit late now to be kicking myself for it.

But thanks for pointing that out.
1528  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 12, 2014, 10:28:07 PM

Negative. If that were the case I would of already pursued a refund from AMT.

I simply want some professionalism (as well as my Miner) from AMT.

I guess i'm asking for the impossible.

Frictionlesscoin: No offense, but your theory about AMT not being interested in retail - and wanting to distribute these miners on a larger scale, is pure speculation. If it is true, they've gone about it in the complete worst way possible.

Agree,  it is pure speculation.  However, AMT did not deny this. They however denied that they were working on a farm.

AMT hates dealing with customers,  so going wholesale is in their best interests.

Why deal with hundreds of unsatisfied customers like you?

AMT is far from what a business should operate like. You think they won't have to answer to someone with millions of dollars invested in them? Please.

Don't forget, it's OUR money that is bank rolling their start-up. They should treat their current (and prospective) clients with respect and professionalism.

I don't see who in their right mind is going to 'wire transfer' tons of cash over to AMT with their shoddy website, shitty PR, and general disdain towards those with questions about production schedules and shipping timelines.

I am done preaching to you guys. Many of you have blinders on and are simply hoping for the best. Let's see if it goes that way.

they are either:

1> a scam

or

2> completely incompetent

Let's hope for #2

You have not answered the question.  Are you an AMT customer?

Yes, i'm a customer. I have 1 machine on order and my close friend has 2 ordered. We went in on this together.

I'm not posting my personal information or order # due to the treatment I've received from the community in this thread, and especially AMT_Miners.

Yes, I have money tied up in this. Whether you want to believe it or not is up to you, either way I don't really care.

I'm not some troll trying to put down AMT - they are doing a great job of that themselves. I'm just looking for some decent updates on manufacturing and shipping progress. Thus far I am still disappointed with the lack of information provided in these updates.

Just going to wait this out and see what happens next week. I've given up on demanding anything from AMT_Miners; he's simply skimming over the questions and cherry picking what they want to answer.

ahhhh. so you had dollar signs in your eyes and cashed out the savings account. Now the rent is due and the wife is wondering what is going on with the big scheme you had cooking.

I don't give a shit what you or anyone else thinks. I didn't come here to make friends, I came to get answers.

Yes, a lot of people care about where they buy product from (ex: i dont want to support Walmart).  You would think in the mining business (which is risky as hell) people would be more interested in who's selling them what, and who's responsible when the shit hits the fan.

At this point I could give a shit whether either of you 'anti-troll brigade' get ripped off. Fuck it, there are stupid people in this world and no one can change that.

It's obvious the common sense left this thread with the rational people about 25 pages ago, when they said "fuck this" and looked elsewhere for a miner.

Let's see what happens next week (again).
1532  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 12, 2014, 04:56:01 AM
Sirminesalot:

You are a joke and obviously a hired troll. Your posts are retarded, and obviously created to try and sway readers opinions of AMT. No one cares who is behind AMT or who works in their office. No one cares about corporate filings and registrations in an industry that creates a deregulated currency.

I'm a fan of AMT. I love the fact that they just get'r done. They are an unorthodox group of guys from Philly, they lack that high level of class and pr that we all know so well from so many other companies that have made us wait or havn't delivered at all. Their pricing is affordable and their legal status is unknown or possibly somewhat grey. They offer a product, we buy it and it works. If i had to compare the characteristics of AMT to anything, the first that comes to mind is simply.. Bitcoin itself.

I was hesitant at first but after receiving one of their 128's and excellent support from Jim while setting it up, I ordered three 1.2th's.

My experience thus far:

I ordered a 128ghs in late November, I received it the first week of January. They were late with about 5 days from their suggested 4 week delivery. This was attributed to the holidays.

When I received my miner it was a bit discombobulated due to shipping and possible poor installation/mounting of the boards. I spoke with jim on the phone, he walked me through it step by step and i was mining about 30 minutes later and have been so since. Also, it was at 12:30am when he provided that support.

I felt happy, and satisfied, and the next week I ordered three 1.2's and look forward to receiving them.

Sirminesalot, your efforts to tarnish this one legitimate company are noticed by many, they see through your bullshit and they realize your a either a paid shrill or 14 year old that cant afford a miner. Please take AMT's earlier advice and just go away. No one likes you here and your ultimately not welcome.

The difference between every other mining manufacturer and AMT is the personalized approach they offer to their clients. The fact that they are even trying to give support is a plus in my book, I ordered from Hashfast and I still can't get them on the phone.  AMT answers the phone when you call and returns messages when you leave them. They are one of the 4 companies in this great country of ours that manufacture these machines and we need to support them in anyway we can to help them become the empire they will become. They are still offering March delivery while everyone else offers May, its because they are real and that's the real build time based on their current orders.

I don't want a slice of credible PR followed by a bad news report or updates in my inbox regarding delays and upgrades on a minner that will never come. I dont need technical details of their miners or pics of their boards or care who's chip their using. I need a hashrate and consumption estimate. I took a gamble on this industry, on bitcoin, on the difficulty and on the guys from AMT. And how ever unorthodox they may be, they are in America and they have shipped miners.

That's all I care about, receiving my miners.

- Max order#1162

And who the fuck are you exactly? .. What credibility do you have? Just another new sign-up that no one knows or can give a reference to. Please, prove me wrong.

All I am doing is asking some obvious questions because the updates are sparse, uninformative, and the responses on this thread of quite frankly a joke. I'm not the only person with these worries, there's about 75 pages in this thread of concerns. Why don't you read back a bit and take a look at what others have to say?

You guys are a bunch of fucking ass kissers. I hope you get to rub it in my face if/when you receive your miners - but I think everyone took a large gamble on a shady ass company such as AMT.

Get a clue, you act like everything related to AMT has been on the up and up. Every aspect of AMT is shady in one way or another, and I refuse to accept it as coincidence.

This also isn't some pre-order gameboy, or some toy we bought into here. Several people have tens of thousands of dollars into this.

I think people DO want to know who is behind AMT. At the end of the day, AMT has OUR money - so YES, i'd like to know who's responsible. You fighting this fact alone makes me question your decision making.

We're just shocked at this point, that we're reverting back to if we are real or not, but really its w/e.

Hey either way its actually good for sales. So we had paused the ads yesterday to restructure the campaign and forgot to start them today and we just realized it. Although 6 paid orders came in today from guys that called which read this forum and called to inquire if we're real or not,  and even one 1 walk-in ordered 2 x 1.2th's, he wrote a check after talking for a few minutes.

So, thank you trolls.

Seriously though 1.2's are shipping next week.

Restructure the campaign? Is that a fancy way of saying, updating the website?

AMT, this has been your PR thus far:

Introduction of AMT

Josh demos the bitfury based board
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWBgz0Mbx20

That's it folks!

http://www.crunchbase.com/person/joshua-zipkin

You know, for someone that has this much credentials on their online resume/profile - you really don't instill much confidence in me with how you've conducted anything.

You're lame ass video demo of the board wasn't technical or informative at all. I especially love this quote from you: "Here you can see the bitfury chips running perfectly, smoothly, sexy..." (cringe)

You're introduction video about AMT smacks of 'lack of professionalism'. Let's just say, I'd be hard pressed to pull you into a conference room to help me sell someone on a product.

Still waiting on those photos, Josh!

Another bullshit update with no photos or solid intel.

This guy is laughing his ass off to the bank.

1536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 12, 2014, 01:10:18 AM
Let's do some math to see how much AMT makes per unit.

Case, power supply and logic board - $500.

40 coincraft a1 chips at $90 a piece ... $3,600.

Total $4,100 .... list price... $6,000 not bad...  $1,900 profit per system.

Nice lucrative business!

More like:

Cost of Materials - $4,100
Cash collected per miner- $6000
Making 100% profit from not delivering miners - PRICELESS

1537  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 11, 2014, 09:20:11 PM
The 1512 chips shown in photos proves that AMT has 1500+ chips. That's it.

It would go a long way to show us the other hardware and possible photos of the manufacturing/production lines.

All the pictures of the chips prove is that AMT has 1500+ chips in their posession.

Can we see the rest of the hardware???

Quote
1,500 coincraft A1 chips costs around $130,000.     That is substantially more than the 37 tower/rack cases and power supplies that you claim to want to see.   Anyone can get a photo of 100's of cases and power supplies.

It would help prove they have the hardware on hand (like they said) and in combination with having the chips, will help put pre-orders at ease.
1538  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 11, 2014, 09:12:48 PM
I know the details of their business are shady, that is why I'm asking they post PICTURES of all the chips, boards, power supplies and cases. We can debate the other things until the cows come home - but if they provide actual photos of all the hardware they have been purchasing to build these miners out, it will put everyone (including myself) at ease.

This isn't an unrealistic request. GET TO IT!

There's a photo of batch #1 that shows clearly that there at least 1,500 coincraft A1 chips.    At say 40 chips per machine, that makes about 37 units.

There aren't any pictures of the boards, the power supplies and bulk amount of cases. 37 tower/rack cases take up a lot of space --- send us 1 picture! It will prove that there is the hardware to fulfill these orders.

1539  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 11, 2014, 09:02:02 PM

If you are defending AMT simply for the sole reason of getting 5 to 10% off your order, then you're a fool.

Stop and think about what other people have invested, and the many more that will continue giving them money.

We need to look out for ourselves and the community, NOT AMT.

AMT_Miners: Instill some confidence in those who have already pre-ordered. Post photos of the thousands of Chips you have ordered, or even a pallet full of computer cases. How about pictures of all the unpopulated boards? GIVE US SOMETHING TO PROVE THAT THERE IS AN ACTUAL PRODUCTION HAPPENING/ABOUT TO HAPPEN.

We don't want excuses anymore.
