Thank for your feedback. The value is based on the quality of the work. Of course there are cheaper ones but they are mechanically reproduced. There are also much more expensive cammeo on the market. The framing is for sure 18 k gold. In case of doubt, anybody can check it and sent it back to me if I not convinced. I am sure we can organize a longer escrow service. Regarding the quantity of gold, may be I have not understood the question. Jewel are consumer good, they are not considered an investment, for that you have to buy gold bullions. The difference with other consumer goods such as a phone is that a phone has no value after two years, a jewel preserves his value in the long period. Of course a phone and a cammeo are two different things, there are people that prefer one to the other and other people that have both... Definitely not arguing with the fact that some cameo brooches are cheap - some are ludicrously expensive depending on the quality. As for the gold, I was just pointing out that the amount is insignificant, and doesn't really add to the value of this as much as other items of jewellery. This would have at most 2 grams of 18ct Gold, which is about ~$60 worth. The cameo itself is what would make this valuable, should it be a quality piece. Again, I think this is entirely the wrong place to try and sell this. You would get a buyer for this easily on eBay. On a Bitcoin Forum? Not so sure. Good luck anyway

Please don't send me your shipping adress via PM in plain Text because it can't be deleted again. Some already did. Not good in case of forum hack. You can use privatenote or pgp. Will update my profile with pgp key later on. Thanks. Sounds good! Will you make an announcement once you start collecting the addresses? Btw, in a private message to all other participants I wrote I'm fine with donating the funds from the excess coins. I'm fine too with Lincoln having them, as he organized all that, made contact with the Satori guy etc… it's only fair if he keeps a portion. I am personally good with the proceeds being donated as outlined in the PM received from L6E, or him keeping the extra coins as "payment" for doing this group buy. Managing group buys can be stressful (I know) and the arranger deserves some kind of compensation for their time and effort. If the funds are donated from the excess coins, I still think we should all chip in together to give L6E a small thank you for doing this. Thanks. Plot twist: In 10 years a coin will be our vacation moniez to Japan.
I really hope your prediction is right! Now wouldn't that be sweet?!

Final BTCump before I remove these last items from sale, and lock the thread. There is just the Graded MS68 Set of Casascius Brass left (0.5 BTC & 1 BTC), as well as the MS69 Crypto Imperator SuperBTC and MS68/69 Halving Coins remaining. I have reduced the prices a little, but there is not much room left for negotiating unless you take several items. The Titan Gold is still available as well, but I will need some convincing to make me part with it now I am quite happy keeping the above coins, so if there is no further interest, they will be removed. As always, happy to consider offers within reason. Cheers!

Up for auction is Cryptocracy Series 1 & 2 - Set #100 - coins by Rmcdermott927. Rmcdermott927 is currently raising funds for charity. Please see this topic. If this auction goes for more than $60 equivalent in BTC, then I will donate 50% of the proceeds to his chosen charity. Come on guys, be generous Set #100 of Series 1 is the only set above #54 which had the correct addresses on them - all other numbers between 55-99 were not sold, and are likely to be made into Keychains - making this particular set pretty rare. Series 1 had an error of having the same bitcoin address engraved over all 3 coins in the set, which was obviously not meant to happen. This error was only found after Rmcdermott927 had them ready for sale. It was then found that sets 55-99 were incorrect from the others as well, in that they had different addresses on each of the coins. Set number 100 was not affected by this. Therefore, this set from Series 1 is the only higher numbered set available, and that is "correct" like sets 1-54. These coins come assembled, with engraved public and private keys, and a hologram on each coin. Series 2 was chosen to be DIY as a result of the problems with Series 1, and comes complete with hologram for you to assemble yourself. Starting bid is 0.01 BTC Bid increments are 0.005 BTC Bids can be made in the format of 'I bid 0.01 BTC, or 0.01' etc. Start time is NOW End Time is Friday 11th November, 23:59:59 PM GMT/18:59:59 EST. Countdown timer is hereNo sniping! Bids made within 15mins of the end of the auction extend the auction by 15mins. Postage is 0.01 in the UK - Everywhere else is 0.015. This will require a signature upon delivery. Payment to the address in my signature only: 1VAULTPU7XXsB5h6pb6VdZE7ZxKHCxmVb Escrow through a mutually agreeable person is also welcome. You pay any associated fees. I reserve the right to request upfront payment from newbies and users with no trade history. Thanks, and good luck

The Kialara "Mega Offer" is no longer available, as someone has purchased them.
Still some nice goodies remaining!!
Edit: Only 1 Free Satoshi Note remaining!
Double Edit: Crypto Imperator SuperBTC, and Halving Coins have been reduced even further. Grab yourself a bargain!
BTCump. One set of Crypto Imperator Halving Coins have been sold. There is just one set remaining. All free Satoshi Notes have now been claimed. Look out for any other freebies in the future!! Edit: Please note that the MS68 0.1 BTC Titan Tenth has been sold. I still have the MS69 Titan 1oz Gold 1 BTC, for sale if the offer is right. I am in no rush to sell that specific coin considering the rarity of it (150 or less in existence), but if the offer is good enough, it may be yours

Reposted for picture. From bitify: Natural shell cameo depicting a young lady in profile, for wear as a brooch or pendant. Finely hand carved and set in a solid 18 carat gold mount. All original and in very good conditions.
DIMENSIONS: approx 2,8 x 3,5 cm - 1,1 x 1,4 in WEIGHT: approx 7,6 g
Questions for OP: How did you come to a price of $490? Do you have additional pictures of the hallmarks showing the gold purity being 18ct? I do not see this being worth $500, or close to it. The amount of gold in this is insignificant. You might have more luck selling this on eBay, and not a Bitcoin Forum - these are somewhat popular on eBay, and you may get a couple hundred dollars for it. Good luck with your sale.

Humble brag post incoming... May I present the latest item added to my stash of crypto collectibles. This amazing creation was commissioned as a custom job by BG4, the man behind PaperSafe. Some time ago I managed to pick up Satoshi Note #200, which is the first note of Series 3 of PaperSafes' Satoshi Notes. This note was funded with the face value of 0.05 BTC on the day of release of Series 3. I was not aware that this note was already funded. More on that shortly. After numerous discussions with BG4 on Slack regarding a custom piece over a couple of months, we agreed on a trade. What I was going to get in exchange for my trade, was not known to either myself, or BG4. The only thing agreed at the time was that BG4 would laser engrave a black marble block, "attach" it to Satoshi Note #200, and make a custom wooden box for it. Anything else was a bonus. It was decided that I would fund the note with the face value of 0.05 BTC, and then BG4 would engrave the transaction details into some part of the marble block/or custom box. After I had funded the note, I checked it to find that it had already been funded with 0.05 BTC After some discussion with BG4, it turned out that he had done this to this specific note only on the day Series 3 was released. So, it was then decided between us that he would use the original transaction details for the custom piece, instead of my funding error. So yes, this Satoshi Note has double funding of 0.05 BTC, and is now loaded with 0.1 BTC This whole piece weighs a whopping 5lb 14oz, which is roughly 2.7kg! It comprises of a solid Walnut box, Black Marble, Holographic Paper, Silver Paint, Laser Engraved BTC icons into Real Leather, and BG4's signature in Gold Paint covered by a Hologram on the bottom of the marble. Well, the finished product arrived in the UK a couple of days ago, and I am utterly amazed at the quality and workmanship of this piece. The effort that went into this is staggering. I am happier than words could ever express. To BG4: Thank You! You more than surpassed any expectations with this, I will cherish this item!Thought I would share it with everyone Enjoy the pics!! Cheers!!
