1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 4 on: November 08, 2019, 03:27:59 PM
I always dreamed about numbers but when i woke up, i can't figure those numbers already. But even if i can still remember them clearly, i would not waste money buying those lottery tickets because chances of winning is very rare. I have bought lottery tickets before but i have never won from them. Now i learned my lesson so i won't let myself be addicted to  gambling.
90% of our dreams could not be recognized once we wake up. It is a psychological fact about human beings. It is always good not to follow our dreams because there is no scientific explanation for our dreams to happen in real life. If you are a strong believer of superstitions and you have more faith on your God then you may go for testing your superstitions and this is also one of the way of testing your luck factor, nothing else.

But, we cannot ignore the fact that dreams are the reasons for they-ja-vu. Co-incidents and dreams are also having strong relationship but making use of them in our gambling is still a hesitations for most gambler and usually gamblers are sharing that they do not want to risk in any new method so only they are simply ignoring their dreams by not making use of the hits they got from their dreams.
1542  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: November 07, 2019, 08:26:04 PM
Usually the account will be locked if we log in using a different IP and PC/Browser, but I don't know whether Bitsler implements security like this.
No, bitsler not blocking account like that. Gambling isn't allowed in my jurisdiction where I live currently. Even gambling site not allowed from my home country as well. So in a result I can't access from both countries to Bitsler account and by force I have to use VPN for login Bitsler account. So when I need to login I just use VPN on my phone and it's free VPN. Still now I didn't face any problems nor locked my account.

I don't think any website should locked account instantly just because of change devices or IP. They might ask for verification like mail. And its quite reasonable to confirm security of your account. But we should remember, trying abuse the system would cause suspended your account.
Usually, it is people who use two different accounts on same IP that gets trouble in most places, not people who use one account on two different IP's.

Because, at the end of the day you can have your own account and then gamble wherever you want, it could be your home or it could be on top of a mountain (how did you get internet up there mate?) and it will be up to you, wherever you want it is your own account and as long as you don't share the IP with anyone else then you should be fine.

Come to think of it, I have no idea about the two account or multiple account ban on bitsler neither, no idea if they allow it or ban it but if they allow it then even that's fine. So, at the end of the day different IP for the same account has never been really an issue anywhere.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 07, 2019, 06:53:47 PM
It's practically impossible to convince somebody to stop while they're mid-way through losing their entire stack.

You stand a much better chance telling somebody to quit while they're ahead, rather than stop before you get completely rekt.

Personally, I just let them get on with it. If they've got the money to lose, let them play.
I strongly agree with this comment. It's complicated (and risky) to stop them. I think the correct move is not to lend them any money if they ask.
If somewhat you can stop them in a losing streak, and they see that the next bet is a win, then you'll receive the blame.

It's similar to trading. It doesn't matter whether your advice is good or bad, if they win, you'll get nothing, but if they lose, you'll get all the blame.
For me, I would rather advice the player and save him from losing. I had this exact experience some time ago, I understood the game perfectly and I knew any next trial would lead to loses. Then I advised a guy to stay off but he disobeyed and played, unlucky for me, he won and saw me as an enemy that tried standing as a stumbling block.

I didn't feel very good about that experience and I wished I didn't say a word but as fate would have it, he tried again and I stood my ground to advise him not to play. Again he disagreed and this time he lost everything including that which he won in the first place. Ideally, it’s better not to advise people but in my religion, it is wrong to see a brother making mistake and staying mute.
1544  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: British Tax Authority Updates Cryptocurrency Guidelines, Says It Is Not Money on: November 07, 2019, 05:23:32 PM
The United Kingdom’s tax, payments and customs authority, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), has updated its cryptocurrency taxation guidelines for businesses and individuals.

On Nov. 1, the U.K. government tax agency, which manages taxes alongside other financial policies, released tax guidance updates that further clarify its stance on how businesses and individuals involved with cryptocurrency will be taxed.

Read more HERE
For now, it is just few government that are accepting cryptocurrency as money while majority of them would prefer to see it as a digital asset which is why they also became interested in it having known that people use it for speculative purpose more, so you see why they are not so much threatened by it as much as they are even threatened about the Libra project.

It is for that reason that they became more interested in taxing it knowing completely well also that it could generate lots of money from them from the usage and from their trades that occurs through it. I see this s good move also, because it would not stop people from still using it as means of payment while the government should focus on the tax, before they know it, it will automatically become means of payment which would have been too late for them to stop it.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in High School Syllabus on: November 07, 2019, 04:44:41 PM
The whole Blockchain thing is really taking a new turn every day, and more countries are beginning to look into it as we see how china has made a statement in favor of it and even urging their citizens to explore the opportunities that are available in its usage, so if china can encourage the billions of people that it has, other smaller and giant countries too will definitely start looking into it.

The right thing to do right now is that schools starts to educate people about it from the early stage so that they will understand how to use it in future when it has become fully developed. This initiative is a very good one, and it is good that a francophone country is already taking the initiative also to introduce it which I am sure will send a it which I am sure will send a very string word to others too.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: November 06, 2019, 05:33:04 PM
It depends on whether you're asking about my superstitions in general or in gambling. My most common general superstition is that karma comes back. If you do something bad in life it's going to hit you back one day. In gambling I usually feel that some places or people might be jinxed so I don't play in places where I heard or saw my friends lose money and I don't follow the bets and advices of people who lost a lot. I try to play on machines and at tables when I know someone had won. I don't pray before playing and I don't have a routine like some gamblers.
I have always hated superstitions and in most cases I see those believing in it as dumb people. How can anyone believe you have to play on a table of a previous winner in order to also become a winner, it sounds really absurd to me sincerely.

I believe in doing the Right things and getting the reward. There is no such thing as superstition because it's not a reality and in most cases those who believe in superstition always end up being disappointed. I had one friend that believes in wearing a particular color to gamble because it attracts luck, it always worked coincidentally but he was disappointed the day he decided to play with big amount of money.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage on sportsbetting is possible? on: November 05, 2019, 07:14:12 PM
Good imagination Grin.

Do you think will it be that easy to get odds like that? I mean the real catch in your "strategy" must be the odds.

Usually people do predict in a same way (betting on strong team) because they do predict based of past performances. Still, people do go betting on other side (betting on weak side) due to personal reasons like "showing patriotism" or "my favorite player plays there so I want that underdog to win".

If 2 different group of people predict differently BUT again in different houses then you may go for "arbitrage" betting.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: November 05, 2019, 05:28:10 PM
By going through multiple pages of this discussion, I conclude there are two category of gamblers: first one gamblers who worship bitcoin so they never think about gambling with that and the second category is, they love to risk so they want to bet with bitcoin because it is having the highest value among cryptos.

Some people are having altcoins to gamble with because, for the same kind of gambling pressure still with less-risky way. I believe they are still belonging to 1st category. Almost all the altcoin gamblers are having their own reasons to make use of different coins for gambling still I do see them as a strong bitcoin adopters.

But, most of the gamblers are not having any favorite but they have some reason for not using bitcoins.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: November 03, 2019, 06:41:49 AM
Unfortunately, you are not mistaken and you are right, these projects will never go the extra mile to make their project works, one example of this is IRONX, they do set up the exchange, they get the license from the country where they operate, they pegged the price of their token to their ICO price, and after that, they done nothing anymore, so they will soon to be forgotten,  some ICO's are like.
This has become the norms of many ICO now after the 2017, the only projects that are still maintaining their standard even if they are low in price which we all know is the result of bear market are those top projects that are listed in coinmarketcap, and this is why I came into conclusion some months back that the only projects that I want to be giving chance to right now If I have any spare money to invest are totally projects that are listed already in exchange and are within the top 200 coins in that market at maximum until I get the clear direction of some of these newer projects because I really don’t know what they stand for anymore, there is no level of confidence that you will build in them, they will end up disappointing you on their project after the ICO.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO not forced you to hold their token on: November 03, 2019, 06:08:09 AM
What is my business about exchanges that will not force me to hold their token, it is not about forcing one to hold their token or not, it is about the exchange being reliable, I would rather prefer to participate in an IEO from an exchange that is reputable even if they have to force me to hold their token and I think that most of the exchanges that you mentioned here are exchanges that we need to be careful with their IEO because not all IEO that is being released by some exchanges will really make it.

Some of them would still not be different from ICO and they will end up still being a product of dumping and pumping coin, so I prefer to hold those tokens from those big exchange that you first listed for IEO projects than these ones mentioned.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 02, 2019, 07:29:31 PM
So tomo we will have the 1st T20 match of India vs Bangladesh series. Though with Shakib Hasan being out for a year now things may not be that same for the team and find it difficult to cope up with India. But hopefully some good match could be witnessed.
There are some chances for match to be called off due to polluted air conditions; Always those schedulers for cricket matches go crazy. They choose England for world cup for its early summer which enforced lots of matched got abandoned. Now it is festival time in India and one of a Delhi match had experienced some play-offs due to breathing problems to players still a match is scheduled in a same venue around the festivals.

I guess out of Ind vs Ban, India must be the favorites still it is going to be a T20I clash and it could be anyone's day. I will bet on India as I do risk on favorites always.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: November 02, 2019, 06:12:09 PM
I mostly bet on sports and politics but when it comes to dice game which i play at times, i use the martingale strategy. Initially i used to set for automatic role but then moved to manual with 60%, 70 % and 90% rates. I would suggest you to try other kinds of gambling as in dice games , it is purely based on luck and there is no such strategy involved.
Why you are suggesting to try dice gambling when there is no strategy involved with it? Are you profitable in dice gambling compared to sports and politics betting? There are people who are profitable with betting and they will never touch dicing because as far as I have observed no one is profitable with dicing and also most of them are not recommending it to anyone. I guess this is the first time someone is recommending to try dicing.

Personally, I never tried betting on politics because it is completely a new thing to me with respect to my available to resources on gambling. At the same time I am regular to dicing and I am also not in profit with my dicing and moreover I am just play it to spend my time somewhat excited, nothing more in expectation means Wink.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 02, 2019, 05:12:45 PM
I have watched the dallas-la game and I feel like the dallas situation can't be sustained for too long unless it is addressed. It was so obvious that Luka was trying to play like a superstar, we all know he is a superstar in the making or even a star right now but that doesn't mean he should be playing like one when he has a teammate who is also another star.

If you stop giving the ball to KP for too long eventually he will want to move to a team that is either successful so his absence wouldn't be for nothing or move to a smaller team so he could get his shots up and get paid. In the end all of these players at early age do this for money, sure they like the game and all that but money is important and KP can't afford to be the second guy who gets 10 less shots than he used to if he wants to get paid.
1554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020? on: November 02, 2019, 03:54:59 PM
I'am still listening but Im here sharpening my scythe and thinking thoughts of a price going down not up.    Always ready to listen for signs of strength and a break upwards of course but a slip under here seems an ideal playout of a negative scenario, the blip upwards the head fake that helps the downside ultimately.

Could go that way or could be something else but I never want to be blind sided by the possibility I refused to consider.

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/59ctvMg.png[/img]

Very short term trend top and it does tie into a trend also on daily and we'll see which way it can go from here.
For me, I am listening more to the technology adoption tune of it to know the direction the price will be by that next year if there is massive adoption of bitcoin based on the usage of it for payment, I see bitcoin really moving towards that figure of $50k, but if we are still bent on using speculation to control the market, we need to always be very careful , because one thing that I have notice about speculation is that it will always head for the opposite side of the speculation every time the is concentration of it on one side.

When people are speculating that bitcoin will go upward that is when bitcoin would start growing downward, but when bitcoin is speculated to be growing downward that is when it grows upward, and it takes someone who would listen to the tune very well to cope.
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are You Concerned On Sudden Rise of Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2019, 07:12:53 AM
The new thing about bitcoin (which seems like we have one all the time) it used to go up and stay there than go down and stay there and keep doing those moves multiple times. For the past few times there has been some "move down, stay, move down some more, stay, than go up" as in there is two parts of going down or two parts of going up.

Like we were $4k for example and moved to around 9-10k first than reached a peak of $13.8k which was the second up. Than we went as low as $8.5k this time around, than went to $7.2kish at the lowest. So, instead of going down and waiting, it goes down and goes down again. I feel like it has used its down moments multiple times already, I feel like it won't go under $8k anymore maaaaybe a little, like $7.8k or so but I am sure that would be very quick and go back up.
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 01, 2019, 04:40:02 PM
It's easy to say but difficult to apply, you are right about having discipline and self control of a person to prevent them to spend farther more but what if that person don't possess that kind of discipline?, Well i guess that's the time that a person needs a guide or someone that can give them advice, prevent them from doing such thing, simply a person that is also by their side to always remind them and guide them to a better path that will not let them be in a wrong way, i'm referring to a family because family is the one that a person's most valuable aspect and i think if a person has a strong sense of family then i think he/she will think of them before spending and wasting too much money, he/she will just spend the money to the family than wasting them in gambling or anything else.
I don’t think that I even buy that idea there of having someone that will assist one in playing when one is not sick or dead,  and like you mentioned and I agree if anyone must go with this option, then the person assisting in plating has to be a family member. There can still never be anything as much as handling it by ourselves.

Gambling is meant to be a game played and enjoyed privately.  Carrying someone along would be risky since there are so many things that could be picked by the person.  I insist and advise players to learn how to be disciplined and stay in control of their games and to stop depending on people for guidance.
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: November 01, 2019, 04:03:21 PM
The release of bakkt may have been bearish at the onset, but I still believe that as the platform grows, there will surely be an improvement of this bakkt on the market and I was quite surprised also to have seen how much they have grown now, because I could remember that when that bear struck the market, they were trading at 7 btc, but now to have over a thousand within that short time to now.

I think that it is really a great news that their product is getting response from people and this might all be some of the things that contributed to the increase or the surge in price of bitcoin that we witnessed of recent, even though we are all trying to attach it to china president news on blockchain, but I still think that bakkt has something to do with it also.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 17,800,000 BTC already mined on: November 01, 2019, 03:32:22 PM
A high percentage of bitcoins have already been extracted and an interesting question that can be asked is what will happen to the price when the total bitcoins have already been extracted? Because mining activity brings a high energy cost, we do not know the truth, but thinking about the shortage, it is very likely that its price will continue to rise to record values.
Analytically, if we look at it, we will know that bitcoin cost will actually become very expensive once the whole bitcoin has been mined, and reason being that bitcoin would have already been with the holders of it and there would not be anyone left to be mined again, which will make people who have it to be hoarding it and as they are hoarding it while request is becoming money, the value will gradually be appreciating which I think that this is how it will work then.

That was just based on assumption and based on the level of knowledge that I have about analyzing, there might still be more reason that another person have to for that believe and I am open to learning also. This is one of the basic reasons why I am trying as much as possible to hold bitcoin now.
1559  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.4 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: November 01, 2019, 02:12:48 PM
The prize the first winner won has a significant value. Assuming that this gambler has lost 1% of the wagering amount, he has won a big profit.
I expected much more wagering amount to be needed to win the first place. Because in the latest 3-day contest, the first winner had wagered 14 BTC. This was a 4-day contest and I expected even higher amounts.
It is really not that important because the top one is spending so much money to be the top one, rodolman has won before and he knows that if you want to beat the opponents then you need to not only gamble a lot but also you need to make sure the others are not close to you.

The difference being too close kinda means to me that others didn't really go for the top place, if rodolman wanted to we know he could make 10+ btc easily, he has done that before and he could do it again, he has that kinda cash, now he doesn't have to, nobody has to but if they want the first place that is kinda the requirement, so you either do it or you don't. If you leave it to gods at the last second then you need to accept the fact that you may not be the first one at this competition, we now have our third different winner in 5-6 competitions, good parity.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: November 01, 2019, 09:50:16 AM
In some points, smoking is not as bad as gambling but both of them are bad and they can affect anyone's lives.

If you are addicted into gambling, yep anything can be sold and be done to play the game but you can prevent it with the help of other people or relatives. You can say that cigarettes are cheap but the effects of it into our body are far worse compare to gambling addiction. Even in our country, cigarette prices doubled in the last 1-2 years I think and it can increase more in the next years which can help those who are addicted into cigarettes because they can't afford it anymore or maybe they can but they will lessen it because of lack of funds to buy.
It's actually the damage that cigarette addiction does to the victim that makes it terrible and worse than gambling because ordinarily gambling everyone would prefer cigar to gambling and to think the smoker would definitely stop smoking as soon as they finish their money but the extent of damage that's likely to done to the addicted person is unpredictable.

I really don't know why people find it hard to do things in moderation when they are not babies that are just growing, smoking cigar is a good habit, it keeps the body warm and that's the same with gambling but once it becomes an addiction it becomes a great challenge.
