161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 24, 2024, 09:55:08 PM
Each individual should have their own goal for selling their holdings. Bitcoin for life, of course, not for lifetime holdings. Who will use our bitcoin if we die? What's the benefit of holding Bitcoin if it can't change my lifestyle even when I am making big profits? For me, I sell my crypto whenever I need it. It doesn't matter how much profit I have. But I'm not going to sell everything unless I need it in my real life. Even you can take advantage of the volatility. When Bitcoin reaches a significant price range, like surpassing the previous ATH and creating a new ATH, you can sell and wait for a dip to accumulate again. That's how you can still keep holding and cashing out your profits.
162  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX terminates services in India, asks users to withdraw funds by April 30 on: March 24, 2024, 09:46:42 PM
India is a large country, and it does have a large number of crypto users. But the government seems not to be friendly enough for crypto users. Exchanges have to close their services when they can't comply with local rules. It seems that using centralised exchanges is becoming more complicated everywhere. Because each local government has its own standards and regulations, We should start using decentralised exchanges and not depend on centralised exchanges.
163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a trusted service to send remittances by crypto or debit card? on: March 24, 2024, 09:33:26 PM
OP have you tried your luck western union yet?

When I needed an indian friend to give me a remittance it was one of the few allowed options by the local government that's pretty strict with money flows also.
They accept bank and debit card deposits from local banks also so it's a pretty convenient tool especially when local banks aren't up to date with modern standards (as it happens to most of the world really).
I'd be interested to know which alternative covers your case, some of my friends that have to do remittances might appreciate the insight too.
No, I haven't tried them yet. Because of what I have checked, they don't give me the option to send money to the same country where I am using their site. Also, I think they need KYC verification to make sure the sender and receiver are However, I found solutions on Remitly, and currently I have been using that. On the other hand, Pyypl seems to have resumed their service again, which will be pretty easy for me. But after my resume, I haven't used them yet. I will try it again soon.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin could speak ... on: March 23, 2024, 09:51:54 PM
Bitcoin is speaking, and sounds are worldwide. We have seen everything till now about Bitcoin struggling to reach its goal. There is nothing hidden, except for the Bitcoin creator. The rest of the history of Bitcoin is available on the internet. The goal was to create a decentralised digital currency that could handle p2p transactions without a third party. And we can see how Bitcoin stands now. So Bitcoin is speaking itself now, and those who are listening are becoming successful investors.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New EU AML ban bitcoin anonymous payment on: March 23, 2024, 09:42:17 PM
Those of us who have been using centralised exchanges or wallets will have trouble using any kind of coin-mixing service. I am encountering an issue with Binance when one of my clients sent BNB by using a mixer. I am not sure whether Binance will resolve my issue or not; they temporarily suspended my account. However, the government strictly wants to control Bitcoin. It will become very hard to spend anonymous coins since all the CEX requires KYC and does not accept funds from the mixers. Very soon, we will have to use only P2P exchanges without KYC or avoid any coin-mixing services.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 2030 Assumptions on: March 23, 2024, 09:34:00 PM
Bitcoin gained mass popularity this year. So I don't expect any massive dumps like previously. To reach 2030, we have six years on our hands. This is enough time to be more popular for Bitcoin. During these six years, we will see more adaptation, and more institutional investors will take entry into Bitcoin. Based on my experience, we would discover bitcoin trading above $200,000. We may see more countries and central banks start using Bitcoin.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have the potential to impact climate change? on: March 23, 2024, 08:23:32 PM
There is a group of people who have been trying to blame Bitcoin miners for climate change. Because Bitcoin miners have been using energy that isn't renewable, For your information, Bitcoin miners are using a very small percentage of energy that won't be countable at all. A group of people just tried to create FUD. Nowadays, miners have also started using renewable energy, and I can't see much discussion about mining energy consumption. Bitcoin haters will always try to create FUD. There is no such thing as a noteable impact on the climate due to Bitcoin minigs.
168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: March 22, 2024, 09:53:52 PM
Why do you deposit a large amount there?
To late to ask him this question now after you promoted a heck of redotpay cards in this topic.  Tongue
I don't think it's reasonable to mention it as a promotion. Neither they paid me for this thread nor did I promote my affiliate. I shared it because I have been using it and it might help other users as well. Right now, while writing this post, I bought a Telegram subscription with a RedotPay card, and payment has been successfully done with just a single click. I didn't encourage anyone to make big deposits there anyway. Most virtual cards don't serve for a long time due to various reasons.

They have mixed reviews on the Play Store and other review sites. I just started using it today and can't say much about it. It might help us with small transactions since I don't dare make big transactions through RedotPay. They are pretty new, and we have to see how their services are going. So use your own risk; I am not preferring to use. Just sharing as an option for those who need a virtual crypto card.
169  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a trusted service to send remittances by crypto or debit card? on: March 22, 2024, 09:38:30 PM
Try binance their P2P system is very good, and there you can sell your crypto and get payments via bank transfer, many good options there.
I am aware of Binance P2P services, and they do work fine for me. When I need cash to spend on something, I use the Binance P2P service. But it does just make a local transaction. I am looking for an international transaction in USD. So my government will not ask for tax or a source of income. I am a freelancer, and I have government authorization as well. So I can bring USD to my bank account without any issue. I just need to store an invoice to show banks in case they ask for it. But usually they don't ask often.
170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I invest to BTC? on: March 22, 2024, 09:33:23 PM
I am assuming you are seeking to invest. If you are looking to buy Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency with your fiat, then you may try any p2p platform. For newbies, it's advisable to invest through the DCA strategy. It means you can buy Bitcoin per dip. At the beginning, I preferred to invest in Bitcoin. You have to learn more about cryptocurrency. Spend more time on this forum to learn more. Remember, cryptocurrency investments doesn't mean its an quick rich methods. You have to struggle a lot to gain from cryptocurrency. So having proper knowledge about cryptocurrency behaviour is very important.
171  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is poloniex safe? on: March 22, 2024, 08:25:14 PM
Poloniex isn't a scam at all. They might have some issues with blocking funds or suspending accounts, just like other centralised exchanges, but not direct scams. Scam and safe aren't the same thing because no centralised exchanges are safe. They might suspend or seize your funds anytime they want. Currently, I have an issue with Binance, and I am still waiting for their final decision. I will disclose everything if something goes wrong with me. However, use centralised exchanges for trading purposes only. Don't store your funds there; if you don't need to trade, just withdraw from the exchange and hold on to your non-custodial wallet. So your funds will be safe.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying/Selling & Using Bitcoin in El Salvador. on: March 22, 2024, 08:17:55 PM
It must be accepted everywhere when it's legal tender. Legal tender means you are obliged to accept something when a second party offers it, For example, your fiat is legal tender, wherever you offer to exchange something, they are obliged to accept your fiat. El Salvador accepts Bitcoin as legal tender, and they have to accept it everywhere besides their native currency's. I haven't visited El Salvador, but these are the basic rules of legal tender. You may search on Google for how legal tender works. Also, you may find some other data on how El Salvador Bitcoin payments work.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A weird interview on: March 22, 2024, 08:08:50 PM
Interesting, not sure if you really faced this question or if it's just your imagination. I will likely do the same thing when I regain my freedom. I have been holding some cryptocurrency, and I must check to see what the current price is after 10 years. Likely it will be better; you can't sell it when you were out of the Internet for 10 years. And you may discover your investment becomes worth a couple of X. However, I still don't expect such punishments that will keep me disconnected from the world and the Internet.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA vs Smart DCA, what do you choose? on: March 22, 2024, 08:00:04 PM
The DCA strategy is already a smart accumulation strategy. So I don't see any other abbreviations for Smart DCA. It's pretty simple: buy each dip you find and hold it. So when it pumps, you will have good profits considering your average purchase price. For new investors, the DCA strategy is already a smart strategy. But for panic traders or holders, DCA won't be smart. They might become panicked and sell off their holdings. The smart holder strategy is called the DCA strategy, by the way.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in future are you hoping to see some countries in Africa legalis bitcoin. on: March 22, 2024, 07:53:38 PM
What we have seen is that sometimes Africa accepts Bitcoin as legal tender and sometimes they ban it. I feel they need more study about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Bitcoin hasn't been accepted everywhere from the beginning. Day by day, the government knows Bitcoin and accepts it. However, whether the government accepts or not, a wide range of people become related to Bitcoin. Even though I am using a cryptocurrency where Bitcoin is banned, So hope day by day Africa will realise about Bitcoin potential and they will not ban. At least we want not to ban it, though the government doesn't want to adapt it.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 20, 2024, 09:36:33 PM
Exchange wallets aren't the same as Swap or decent exchange. A decentralised exchange or swap doesn't have a wallet to store something like a centralized exchange. You have to use a non-custodial wallet to use Dex or Swap. For centralised exchanges, you can participate and Airdrop those launched by their platforms. Other tokens won't be accepted by centralised exchanges unless they host them. However, I am far from Airdrop nowadays, and I don't think it's worth the time. Those who have enough free time could look for airdrops. Because till now most Airdrops went scammed duringthe past few years.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do you this the current correction was local bottom price for alts? on: March 20, 2024, 09:26:10 PM
As we have encountered a significant dump in the crypto market, do you think it was a local bottom for altcoin as well? Today seems the market pumped again, and alts seem to be getting back to their price range. Do you think we will see another bottom for altcoin again this year? I feel this was the last chance to accumulate altcoins, and anytime would fly major altcoins like Ethereum and others. We might not see that bottom again unless the whole market crashes back. So what's your thoughts about the last pullback? Have you accumulated something?
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank - Safely store your bitcoin on: March 20, 2024, 09:21:16 PM
Assume the OP is too old and backdated. Bitcoin is decentralised and won't be controlled by so-called banks. Your idea isn't different from centralised exchanges. Its custodial service for trade and holding funds is highly discouraged. We can be our own bank when we are using a non-custodial wallet or a hardware wallet. We don't need to pay any charges for holding funds there other than transaction fees. You just need to make sure your wallet seed phrase is secured. We don't need any traditional banking system to handle our bitcoin. It's just a nonsense idea. You should study more about Bitcoin and how it works.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimalism in Bitcoin would slow your accumulation process on: March 20, 2024, 09:15:35 PM
Crypto has always been giving high profits if we can invest in it at the at the right time. You can see today's Bitcoin chart, where it was trading at $62K in the morning and is now trading above $67K at midnight. So those bought during the morning are all in good profit with a 24 hour gap. The problem is that when Bitcoin starts dipping, we become afraid; only experienced traders accumulate during bears and take the risk. However, we can use the DCA strategy during a bear when Bitcoin starts to dump. So when it bounces back, we can make good profits and increase our portfolio.
180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto on: March 18, 2024, 09:28:15 PM
Pyppl seems to have resumed their service again. Just use with caution since we don't know when they will pause their services again. The old card has been activated; I just saw it on my dashboard, and it's usable. They made a lot of changes and increased fees as well. They stopped crypto payments; before, it was possible to deposit through Binace, but it seems there is no crypto payment option. Don't make any big deposits there; try to use it with limits. Make a deposit just for whatever you need to do.
