161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is burning coins good on: October 22, 2021, 08:18:15 PM
Recently, many projects have announced the burning of coins, but not everyone understands what this means.

This is a process by which cryptocurrency miners or developers get rid of a certain amount of tokens by sending them to addresses that are not accessible to anyone. The burning of coins is being implemented not because of the low viability of the project, but rather because of the desire of the creators of cryptocurrencies for great prospects.
This is just a marketing strategy by the project developers, they create a hell lot of tokens and if they are successful with the advertisement and the launch then they will advertise about the burning of coins, to make the investors happy because whenever there is a certain amount of coins that disappears from the circulation, the valuation increases if you are able to attract huge investors and i always view them as a marketing strategy to make things interesting.

The good thing with Coinstar kiosks is that retail buyers are allowed to buy small amounts of Bitcoin for as long as they're paying with paper bills. The downside, however, is that you are required to setup a CoinMe account which requires KYC. In addition, there is also a 4% transaction fee plus another 7% cash exchange fee.

Do you think this will be successful?
It is always a positive news to see that all the Walmart stores having a Bitcoin Kiosk but anyone who invested in Bitcoin will never go to an ATM Kiosk and will be willing to give 4% as transaction fees and 7% as cash exchange fees when you can purchase the coin through exchanges at a really lower rate. Over all it is a good advertisement for the cryptocurrency market.

The heavyweight will be less exciting without Fury and Fury already said in one interview that training in boxing is a good stress reliever and helps him not to fall into depression again, and besides, there's still huge money to be made fighting, a lot of new faces in the heavyweight are coming up.
Fury still has three to five years before he retires but I doubt there will be a fourth fight against Wilder along the way.
Tyson Fury is the kind of fighter boxing needs right now, who is outspoken yet he backs up what he is talking about and he is able to grab the attention of the audience which was lacking in boxing especially in the Heavy Weight division, despite saying that i doubt whether Tyson Fury will be fighting for the next 3 years let alone 5 years as he knows about the impact he will have in his body if he continues to fight top class fighters.

There's such a thing as game-fixing if you get a tip from a very reliable source and you are 100% sure of it, that's your chance to win big, it's still risky because there is such a thing as changing of decision from fixers, the game-fixing can make or break you if you believe that the result will come from a reliable source, game fixing is complicated and the organization is always on the watch for game fixing.
If you really think that a match is fixed, i will get away from the match because you cannot predict how the match will play out. But to think that you will get to hear about information if a match is fixed is ludicrous, either you are a big shot who has a friend who gambles and spends millions of dollars and even if it is fixed those information are not going anywhere until you have the authority to track their communications Tongue.

Seriously, I have no idea why they would put Murray as a favorite. He does still have his moments, but as you said his health is going to hold him back again and again as he can't have the same trust in his body that he used to have. It is not even something like a home game for Murray.
Even i have no idea why Andy Murray would be a winner against quality players as i am waiting to see a win for a very long time. I placed a few bets on him to win a set and he was not able to do so and i am not sure whether is continuous health issues is the reason for not showcasing the performance his capable to perfrom.

Today we saw a perfect Bangladesh team. Opener Liton Das made a remarkable start. Shakib's partnership with Liton was excellent. At the same time Mahmudullah played an extraordinary innings. As a finisher, Saifuddin has been able to fulfill his responsibilities properly. If they can make such a performance in the main stage of the World Cup, then maybe the matches in Bangladesh will be competitive.
Bangladesh is playing against associate teams and they lost one match against Scotland and the matches they won are against Oman and Papua New Guinea who is one of the weakest team in the tournament and they way in which they struggled against Scotland, i doubt they can be competitive against top teams like England, India, Australia or even South Africa in spinning wickets.
167  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tyson Fury in next Expendables movie by Sylvester Stallone? on: October 20, 2021, 08:25:13 PM
Sylvester Stallone offered a role in new Expendables movie to heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury after he defeated Deontay Wilder in fight of the century according to Stallone who was impressed.
I think Tyson Fury will take this role with both hands simply because he is a fun loving person who likes to experiment and entertain people and he is the best boxer in the world and is the one of the best in the history of the sport. Tyson Fury appeared in Wwe and he had a fun and good time there and i am sure he will take the offer to be in the movie as well.

From which country are you precisely? I think in poor countries it's more likely to happen than in richest ones. I'm not saying it never happens in rich countries, but it's usually more secret and hidden in those countries because the benefit-risk balance is more unfavorable there.
Corruption can happen anywhere in the world, we have seen teams from first world countries getting busted for fixing games, i have not placed a bet for these fixed matches because even if the match is fixed no one is going to know about it other than the team fixing them and the person spending the money to fix them.

Whenever i see unusual huge bets, i usually follow them and there were times i won and majority of the times i loose a well. So no idea about these and even the OP who says his friend got and he does not even have a clue whether it is true. Grin
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 18, 2021, 11:32:15 PM
Whenever I see this two guys Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori I remember how easy Israel Adesanya beat both of them, so this will be fight of the losers and the winner could again challenge Adesanya in future, but I think that outcome would be the same.
For the hype Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa fight had, Paulo Costa was an easy fight for him but you cannot say the same against Marvin Vettori. The first fight between Marvin Vettori and Israel Adesanya was really close and it was a split decision victory for Israel Adesanya and one of the toughest fights he had in his MMA career and the second fight was not a cake walk either.

This should be much more interesting fight card than previous one for me, but I will have to switch and watch legendary Fedor Emelianenko, that is happening in similar time like this UFC event.
I am very excited for this upcoming MMA weekend!
There was a time i wanted to see Fedor Emelianenko make a comeback but now a days when i see his name, i feel he should have never returned back as he is not the same fighter anymore and hopefully this will be his last fight.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 18, 2021, 11:01:31 PM

With an unbiased jury, Golovkin would have won the matches of 2017 and 2018. There should have been a rematch in 2019, but Alvarez chickened out and refused to face GGG. Now there is no point in getting a trilogy fight in 2022. The fact remains clear - Canelo was afraid of a defeat in 2019 and therefore refused to face Golovkin for the third time. No matter how much glory he achieves at the boxing ring (there is no doubt that Canelo is an all time great), this one thing will remain as a black mark and haunt him forever.
Both the fights were really close and i thought GGG won the first fight and the second one was another close one and may be if it was outside the US judges we might have seen a different result. All the boxing fans wanted to see the trilogy but Canelo Alvarez knows how hard it is face someone of the same caliber and he opted to fight other opponents.

India has won the warm up match against England. Jonny, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone have really played awesome and scored 180 plus. It was indeed a challenging score for Indian. The recent IPL matches, have made them strong in 20 over crickets hitting to more than 170 plus. So it was easy for them to play and finish off the game by 19th over loosing just 3 wickets. Kishon and Rahul's good start in the beginning, has really helped to achieve the target very comfortably. Rishabh Pant lead India to win. Samy's 3 wickets really added a strong point in winning this warm up match. Waiting for next game from India
The players who played in the IPL have performed in the warm up match and the way in which Moeen Ali batted was awesome but India had a strong team and their youngsters just had a good night and was able to chase the score easily. The only concern for India is their bowlers who went away for plenty of runs and England also needs to find the correct line and length to bowl in pitches like these.

at the beginning I though Arsenal would easily win this game and continue 2-match winning home streak. but at the end late equalizer from Alexandre Lacazette helped Arsenal to save only 1 point.
Now a days it is really hard to predict the match as there are several upsets all the time and when Crystal Palace scored the second goal. i thought i messed up big time and i could not even cashout my bet and i thought i lost the bet and stopped watching the game. Just now i looked at the score card and i sighed a relief because Arsenal was somehow able to score during the injury time.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 18, 2021, 08:49:27 PM
I wasn't aware that this was a competition. For the betterment of crypto in general diversity is key, and other projects bring other segments to light and different avenues of usability. To think that Bitcoin is the rule setter here and that anything that differs from its path is shit is bad and dangerous.
If you look at the entire cryptocurrency market, how many novel projects you can see, you will find only a few and majority are replica that makes any sense and majority of the projects are developed to make money and the developers are making a shit ton of money making these projects.

We have to remember that Bitcoin was the first decentralized cryptocurrency, but not the first financial crypto project, and holding to it like gospel is no way to make progress. There is room for any good project out there.
I am not asking to use Bitcoin as a gospel, but the rest of the centralized currencies before Bitcoin you are talking about died as fast as they appeared.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if country has fully adopted crypto and they are releasing their own stablecoin on: October 18, 2021, 08:10:45 PM
I was wondering about this. many people want to encourage crypto adoption in their country. but whether when adoption happens they will use it. or they are more comfortable using FIAT.
The basic answer you need to give is whether you are willing to spend a transaction fee for each and every minor transaction if you are advocating cryptocurrency adoption. You cannot expect everyone to invest in cryptocurrency and start using it to trade for day to day transactions. For businesses they can accept cryptocurrency and they can give the option to the end user.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you explain the October pump? on: October 18, 2021, 07:17:34 PM
~
When making buying positions or decisions then it would be always like a hit or miss and its always been like that on which people doo really make out decisions from time to time and whenever they do saw opportunities for them to buy then they do make out actions whether its just a fake pump or totally a reversal- no one could actually tell.
It is always hit and miss situation when you are investing but majority of the investors who are in here for a quick profit usually invest once the market starts to rally to ride the rally and book the profit and all they do is rinse and repeat and that is how they make profit in a high volatile market.

This October pump reason is unknown yet but we can presume out situations like this to be very common because market is unpredictable. It could move without that obvious reason and this is where people decisions do vary basing up with their own experience and knowledge towards the market.
You cannot always find reason for a rally and that is how the market is and the next two months are also bullish during a rally and that is what i am expecting.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron network VS Binance Smart Chain on: October 18, 2021, 07:03:03 PM
Both are fast and the transaction gas fee is very cheap, but in comparison, the win is in favour of BSC. Tron is less attractive than BSC in defi and nft race, many projects have been successful on BSC. About Tron, actually I haven't heard of any defi or nft projects implemented on Tron. It really works on Tron and which one, can someone give me more info?.
That is a fact that i have not heard about any successful projects that are built on top of Tron Network and i am not aware of projects that are using them even though the ETH transaction fees is really high and if they want to be successful this was the best opportunity for them to attract developers to their platform and we have not seen that and BSC has taken advantage of this situation and they ran away with the opportunity.

The pressure coming from day traders continues to harden the process of breaking this barrier; I was thinking that after breaking $61K

it will be much easier to continue moving upwards, but it's not.
It is hard to predict how the market would perform, i was also monitoring the market to see how the market would go as i too wanted to take my position and i was expecting huge sell off but there is a decent buy wall and lets see how the market will perform in the next two days and will take a position. With the way the market is performing we might hundred thousand by the end of this rally.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 18, 2021, 04:24:58 PM
Volatility is a major factor for mass adoption and you cannot expect everyone to invest in cryptocurrency who have no idea about trading and the risk involved in it. When it comes to regulation, you cannot expect regulations as soon as the market opens up. It will take a long time and in the next few years we might see more regulations in the market than we see now.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estonia on a road to possibly revoke most crypto licenses issued in the country on: October 18, 2021, 03:52:58 PM
This might be a bit niche as a topic, but it might be of interest to some. In short the head of money laundering bureau in Estonia has gone to media with the suggestion to either revoke or review all crypto licenses issued in the country. For context Estonia houses about 400 companies that own crypto license.
Earlier it was easier for the companies to get a license as majority of the licenses were procured by agents and i am sure corruption was really big as they would usually provide any license if you are willing to spend money. If they are really reviewing the licenses that they issues that does not mean anything because they will somehow regain the license even for shady companies, in short money talks.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia took third place in the world in bitcoin mining on: October 18, 2021, 02:26:56 PM
Finally, China gets 0 (zero) percentage, which looks very different from previously. While US is leading because China has no longer a part of the countries that contribute to Bitcoin mining. What I am thinking now is 'Will China revise the decision of BAN Bitcoin?'. If they plan to revise it, there is a chance for Bitcoin miners to go to China again. Or they will ignore it because of the bad story in China previously.
I highly doubt whether the miners who already moved out of China will go back even if they allow miners to settle down and even if there is any incentives because there needs to be stability in decision making and the amount of money these miners had to spent to move out of the country will be in millions and you cannot expect them to move back.
