1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: February 01, 2021, 12:37:46 PM
Bitcoin could really change the lives of people in a certain country because of the opportunities that it offers. Africa is one of the neediest countries and it's a good thing that they could consider Bitcoin to eliminate poverty.
When you talk about eliminating poverty it is a big responsibility, there are places where they do not even get proper water let alone electricity and the gadgets necessary to change their lives. There are people in Africa who would be happy if they get proper water to drink and when we talk about bitcoin eliminating poverty you need to built the infrastructure so that they can use them.

People having these resources can make money but there are people who are really poor.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is a 150+ Sat Doge Sustainable? on: January 31, 2021, 07:39:04 PM
It is not that easy to speculate whether the price of doge is sustainable, the reason for the pump we had is not because of any fundamental reasons but a group of investors hyped the coin and started investing heavily and as long as they keep on investing the price will sustain these levels and if these investors starts booking their profit the price will go down drastically.
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto is Revealed Today, How Much it will Cost to Read ? on: January 31, 2021, 06:29:57 PM
even if the real Satoshi comes out it is difficult for him to prove his identity even if he signs a message from his initially known addresses.
If someone comes out and then if he is able to sign a message from multiple known address then you need to accept him as the creator as it is difficult to assume that all of those addresses are stolen. There is no point for him to return now but i wont be surprised if the coins from the earlier wallets starts moving as he is holding over billions of dollars worth of bitcoin and other forks.

@OP i just do not care even if it is a free journal about the investigation Tongue.
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: January 31, 2021, 05:21:51 PM
Bitcoin and other crypto might be affected with any single fud or any single news from the government if they want to banned it in their country but as we all know crypto runs thru online I think it will take so many months or years before they can fully implement it,
The price of bitcoin used to move according to the news and FUD in the past but in the past several months or over a year it is not responding to these manipulation, yes the tweet from Elon Musk made a huge difference as the price pumped for a while but that did not last long. The way a government will influence the market is by banning the exchanges running in their country even if they want to restrict it.

There was no talk about Aldo getting his rematch he wanted it so badly it looks like both fighters are losing their steam, why not let Dana hatch that idea, I'm sure Aldo wants his revenge so badly, and McGregor should give him a chance, Dustin got his rematch, why not Aldo in the 145 pounds it has the making of a big hype.
Aldo needs to hype the rematch and if Conor McGregor looses one more fight then he might think about giving another opportunity for Aldo as he still thinks that he can still be a title contender in the 155 pound division and i am sure he does have the confidence but it wont be easy.

All McGregor needs to do is give opportunity to fighters that are planning to retire and let them earn a fair amount of money before settling down for good Grin.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: January 31, 2021, 01:05:44 PM
Securing your future having maybe 10BTC plus business or investment that will help to accumulate more, we don't know what will
happened in the future so better to excess your expected money just in case  that there are emergencies that will happened along the
way,
If you are having real estate investment in cities then it is more than enough to secure your future forever  Cheesy. We can just speculate how big the market will rise and once the corrections starts how low it will go and with many countries planning to regulate the entire market i doubt whether we will be seeing he same level of rallies in the future. Either way 20 to 30 bitcoin could help you in securing your future for good and reinvest in real estate and live peacefully. Cheesy
1167  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 31, 2021, 10:21:57 AM
Anyone having issues with bets disappearing from the sportsbook, i know i placed a bet on a few matches but  i could not find all the bets i placed and then i was confused whether i placed in stake or somewhere else and was searching everywhere but could not find them Undecided.

Is this a problem i am encountering or anyone else having the same issue.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 31, 2021, 07:12:19 AM
McGregor is fast losing his magic he us not the McGregor we've known when he is just starting out, the hunger is not there anymore, Dana should focus on fresh fighter and give them a chances, McGregor has done a lot to the organizations but they cannot keeps give him mega fights and losing it, the best fighter should work there way up and continue to strive to be there, like Khabib had done.
Everyone forgets that McGregor dominated the 145 pound division and moving up in weight he was able to defeat Eddie Alvarez who is a striker and it was a perfect match up for him but the rest of the 155 pound division is filled with tough opponents and it is not that easy to dominate the division with his style of fighting. I bet if McGregor goes down to 145 pound division he can still dominate most of the fighters but not in higher weight divisions.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 30, 2021, 10:35:27 PM
I am not sure that a long win-win streak is necessarily a guarantee of future victory, on the contrary, the well-known probability theory states other things Wink
An undefeated record does not mean anything if he is not preparing well for the next fight and there is no guarantee that a fighter will win all the time, even the best fighters fall from grace all the time if it is not his best day. The best example is Andy Ruiz who defeated AJ and on the rematch, he was behind all the laurels he got and he was not even interested in training and he lost the second one comprehensively.

Wait a minute, it looks like we all love Fury to win here, what about those AJ fans here, what can you say about this fight?
I do not see any dedicated Anthony Joshua fans here, a loss can make a lot of difference  Cheesy.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 30, 2021, 09:32:26 PM
On other hand for SA it’s a big challenge as they have to forget the loss and move on and ensure they do well in all the departments of the game so that they can either draw or win rather than losing the series as a whitewash.
The batting order needs to step up their performance if they want to be competitive, they will be praying to win the toss and elect to bat first knowing it will be hard for them to bat in the fourth innings in spinning wickets.

And there is nothing wrong with this practice. SENA countries does the same thing with pace, swing, bounce. If they can exploit the weakness of sub-continent team then every sub continent team should also exploit their weakness. Test cricket is not only about raw pace but spin also.
Nothing wrong in that but South Africa needed to include some quality spinners as well, they never had world class spinners but they need to find spinners to counter these sub continent wickets. The recent India series win against Australia, Australia is afraid to prepare green turf that could help the fast bowlers completely because India had a potent attack and that is how you counter the threat.

If i am a pitch curator then i wouldn't hesitate to create a pitch where likes of Anderson-Rabada-Cummins getting smashed by 19 year old kids when playing in the sub-continent.  Grin Grin
Anderson bowls well in sub continent wickets as he can reverse the ball. Looking forward how India will be preparing the wickets for the England series.
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin remain the biggest cryptocurrency at the end of 2021? on: January 30, 2021, 05:50:13 PM
many people thinks that etherium will take the place of bitcoin soon or later. what do you think guys will bitcoin the remain the biggest crypto in 2021?
Which people thinks that ethereum will take the place of bitcoin. Bitcoin is here to stay as the biggest currency in the world, you might see coins with unlimited coins in circulation having a much greater market capital in the future but to overcome the dominance of bitcoin is impossible and i do not consider ETH as a currency Tongue.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 30, 2021, 03:13:14 PM
Right now, it is on a downward slope so I guess many are selling right now, until it goes back to a stable price. These kinds of triggers are helpful for those who have large amounts of doge as their collection. Imagine around 68000 dogecoin is a bitcoin. So those who have stacked millions must have a field day now. The temporary losers right now are the buyers, but of course it might take a long time before doge reach fever heights.
Doge is always a coin you need to stock in your portfolio as you will see a pump once in a while and this was by far the biggest pump we had in the coin in a long time and i am sure many booked their profit as it was an unexpected sudden rise and anyone holding the coin for a long time will take advantage of the situation and book the profit. Waiting for it to settle down once again so that i could accumulate again. Grin
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 30, 2021, 01:24:55 PM
The next match will be very competitive. The South African team lost the first match. They will find out their mistakes and correct the mistakes and make the team more stable for the next match. Pakistan will have to be stronger if they want to beat South Africa in the next match.
Pakistan might be making pitches that will help their spinners and if that is the case it will be difficult for South Africa until they have a batsman that could counter spin, in the past they had players who played well against spinners but in the current team we are yet to see any players who perform well against spin.
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: January 29, 2021, 11:08:59 PM
I would like to clarify that fiat currencies and banks are slightly different things and are not quite identical, and the same banks, subject to the permission of the financial regulator, could well perform operations with cryptocurrencies
The reason we are using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is to avoid a third party to hold our coins and suppose the financial regulators allow them to transfer cryptocurrencies, what is the purpose when you do not need a third party. You can start a locker system to safe guard your coins in their vault which is much safer if you are holding huge amounts.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No positive sign in LTC on: January 29, 2021, 10:33:49 PM
thats not a big issue my friend, because vene there is no positive sign but this coin still become the TOP 10 coins at cmc,
and thats enough reason for me to hold this coin
If you idea is to hold LTC simply because it is listed in the to of rankings then it is your choice, mostly everyone is looking for coins that had a potential to explode when the bull market starts and LTC does rally during those period but you cannot expect a huge rally like the rest of the coins in the market, this is nothing new and it is how it performs in the past rallies as well.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 29, 2021, 08:06:28 PM
I have no doubt about South Africa Woman as they will win the match easily.
How to watch these matches, i have seen the betting option but as long as i am not able to watch the match i am not too confident in placing a bet, either way you made some good picks and it would be great if you could put your picks early so that i will follow that up and make a decision on placing a bet.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 29, 2021, 06:25:11 PM
I think that Volkov has no chances against Overeem. Even though Overeem is not in his prime and best monster form, he is still on other level than Volkov. Volkov only chance is a lucky punch that will daze Overeem and then TKO. But, Overeem can survive a lot of damage and his monster power will simply blow Alexander from the octagon.
You cannot underestimate the striking of Alexander Volkov and he does have knockout power and Alistair Overeem is not the monster he once was and he is prone to great strikers and there is no doubt this will be a great match up but i will be picking Alexander Volkov to win the fight.

Clay Guida fits right into the most entertaining fighter, he don't usually win but he eats a lot of punches while just dancing in front.
It is time Clay Guida retires from the sport, he is in the fight game for a very long time and now he always falls short and i pick Michael Johnson to win the fight because of his fast hands.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 29, 2021, 03:41:49 PM
Pakistan defeated South Africa by 7 wickets. I never imagined that Pakistan would be able to beat a team like South Africa in a Test match. Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam played very well. If they can maintain such a great performance, Pakistan will be able to get good results in the upcoming matches as well.
South Africa is touring Pakistan and hence it is not a big surprise, Fawad Alam played an important innings and the tail end players helped put runs on the board in the first innings and that helped them to win the match. South Africa is not known to play spinners that well in sub continent wickets.
I am not sure about how the rest of the series are played but i am expecting some fightback from South Africa.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 28, 2021, 01:59:16 PM
CSK drawing all the attention here in this thread. Please do think about Virat Koolli too Grin  You guys should give some footage to his team too  Wink. Star players, 13 IPL seasons still no Trophy for RCB.
If you are leading the team and never won the title, you need to change the captain and let AB de Villiers lead the team, they already released Aaron Finch, Chris Morris and Moeen Ali which i think is a big blunder and i am not sure who they will be picking, may be they might look for Glenn Maxwell, but he never performed well in the IPL.
They need a quality spinner and a new ball bowler that could contain the runs.

1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 28, 2021, 01:04:11 PM
Btw, Ben Askren says he will win by TKO in the 7th round, and Jake Paul quicker than Jorge Masvidal. It's just a bunch of conversations that could spark up more conversations with their claims.
After his retirement may be he was doing some hard boxing lessons to have this kind of confidence  Cheesy. Jake Paul can knock out Ben Askren and if the fight goes to the distance i will be surprised. I have seen all his old fights in MMA and i have never seen Ben in a stand up battle.

Maybe let's capitalize on betting on this one? Or it's too hard to predict?
I will stay away from betting and will watch the fight, Ben was a high level MMA fight during his prime but you cannot say that about Jake Paul other than his entertaining fights.
