161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]COVAL. Circuits Of Value. Loyalty and Rewards Platform on: September 18, 2016, 01:21:07 PM
The dickhead that makes fake dumps almost the second someone buys needs to get an ass kicking. Some people are just too greedy.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]COVAL. Circuits Of Value. Loyalty and Rewards Platform on: September 17, 2016, 09:57:46 PM
My advice is buy now, we will start a big rise now untill the VOCAL app is released.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 17, 2016, 09:49:21 PM
What is the likely date for the BTC to be in our wallets and the airdrop generally. I highly recommend it's pushed back to around Christmas....even make it a New Years end date. Why? Because there isn't enough people who know about this project so it risks an uneven distribution and less interest of only a small number of people have heard of it.

The developer should do a poll to see the kind of numbers of people who are aware of this airdrop....I bet you it's less than 1000.

The ANN is only 12 days old and you have already found the way to this thread! Wink There is more than a month, maybe two, left for everybody and his dog to learn about Byteball! This thread is not the only marketing effort, there are several tweets already, also threads in other crypto forums, and I know about some bloggers, who will release something in the next days.

So nothing to worry about, Byteball will be well-known when the initial distribution happens.

Sounds a bit like Cryptkeeper wants to keep all the crypto for himself.

The strength as the developer has said is in the widely held distribution. At this point it's I bet known about by a few hundred people at best, alts is a very small world compared to Bitcoin and also there are so many projects these days even a dedicated alt coin investor can easily miss this free offer. If the distribution ends up in less than 1000 wallets this coin is DOA. What's a few more weeks in the grand scheme of things?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COVAL to monetize podcasting. on: September 17, 2016, 09:08:19 PM
What is their economic model? How do they plan to make money?

Please post more then just a twitter ad.

So much info, much of it I'm not clear about, the COVAL system is pretty complex. It's a legacy project that came out of Ribbet Rewards which is now Loyyal. Shannon Code who is chief achitect of Loyyal and a guy called Micheal Sullivan who interestingly was the guy that coined the term crowdfunding. I mention their names cause they will not be pushing the projects themselves as they seem happy to just fiddle away without marketing. That's why I'm trying to tell a few people about it now.

Best way to learn about is read the blogs.

This is better than a Steemit clone. Monetizing podcasting!

COVAL based on a loyalty network is going to release an app called VOCAL in about a month that essentially monetizes podcasting. Podcasting has struggled even more than blogging to produce a revenue stream as people don't want to listen to audio adverts which are a pain to produce anyway unlike google ads revenue. I see it as having even more potential than Steemit it they pull it off well. What do you think?

COVAL will release an app on its loyalty network in about one month that will essentially monetize podcasting. i.e. Gonna be huge. Podcasting needs to be monetized even more than blogging does so I can't see any reason it couldn't be as big a thing as Steemit which is worth millions. COVAL currently has a market cap of about $200,000 so the potential is huge on this one right now.

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe the future of Bitcoin is in Loyalty points. on: September 13, 2016, 08:45:18 PM
a few people a couple years back devised how to 'salespitch' bitcoin to merchants,

they came to a similar conclusion as the OP that selling bitcoin as a loyalty point scheme allows merchants to understand bitcoin without having to know the techno jargon of "decentralized crypto blah" and just accept bitcoin as a payment (spending the points) while also making it simple from the tax/integration part of the retailers head office to not get a headache with 'something new'.

the only issue with this is when actually speaking to merchants in regards to using bitcoin, they seemed ok about implementing it and seen it as a simple process, but then started arguing about contracts to 'own' bitcoin brand and make it a loyalty scheme just for their corporation.

so although bitcoin can be used in an analogy of loyalty points to save lengthy techno jargon, try not to go too far into treating bitcoin as a loyalty point system or the merchants will only see it as a loyalty point system

Only? Its a billion dollar industry. Coval is about to make this a reality, it's not just an interesting idea at this point, no pun intended. Smiley

Altgods make price movement, their presence are not felt in COVAL thereby making it loose potential buyers

Everyone is chasing coins at the moment they know deep down are worthless....folding coin...LTBcoin...what a joke in 12 months they will end up where all the PnD's end...worthless and forgotten. Coval will grow steadily mark my words....all quality project steadily rise to the top. Just the VOCAL app alone I think will send this project skywards. IMO

The price will rise soon, VOCAL is predicted to be out in 1-2 months plus the conversion means people who own will benefit remember the blog says:

"Though details of the migration to Counterparty is still out of scope for this update, we can say that the conversion to COVAL.XCP will be beyond fair for all COVAL holders"

I'm taking beyond fair to mean Coval holders will do well at the point of conversion.

I'm fully aware of the global surveillance but I feel like some here have a Snowden complex thinking their every move is tracked...Sorry to tell you but your 10 bitcoins of Dash are not an NSA priority....dicks
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone really explain which coins are truly anonymous? on: September 07, 2016, 05:36:43 AM
Some replies here are such bullshit. Not everyone lives in the US under the NSA. Of course if the coin is untraceable you can send end to end anonymously. Walk into any PC room in Asia and send for one thing. You sad sack of Yankee fucks.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone really explain which coins are truly anonymous? on: September 07, 2016, 02:54:06 AM
Thanks everyone for answering a question I didn't actually ask.

Is it so hard for people to put aside their agenda to answer a fucking question. I asked about the actual transaction nothing about IP addresses and postal addresses...damn. Did you think I thought a crypto currency would magically make my home address disappear? And who said anything about using a bank account?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone really explain which coins are truly anonymous? on: September 06, 2016, 07:35:40 PM
Then why do anonymous coins have such high market cap when their main feature doesn't work?

There is so much competition and slander in this area of crypto is hard to work out what's true and what's BS.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone really explain which coins are truly anonymous? on: September 06, 2016, 07:23:33 PM
So many coins now claim they are anonymous with many different ones saying they are the first ones to do so. What are the real anonymous coins we have now. Are any 100% anonymous and untraceable?

none.

Really? Dash, Monero, shadow cash, vcash,   None of them?
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone really explain which coins are truly anonymous? on: September 06, 2016, 07:22:08 PM
Keep off the drugs my friend.

My end privacy is of course an issue but I want to know about the actual transaction, if it is traceable etc.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coval and Loyalty and rewards is the next big thing. IMO on: September 06, 2016, 07:00:05 PM
Coval are just starting to build on the very developed Loyyal platform. The Loyyal platform has the biggest companies in the world wanting to use their system including probably the first Governmnet backed crypto, namely Dubai.

Crypto was made for loyalty points, what are bonus points that people love to collect be it an airline or a restaurant etc but virtual money. Crypto until now has not even touched this billion dollar industry but that's about to end.

Coval will win because they can keep adding Rapps to their platform, each adding value, over time the tokens will get more and more scarce, it's can't fail.

The latest blog post hints how big it's going to be.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any upcoming alts worh investing? on: September 06, 2016, 06:47:12 PM
Coval because it has a real economy based on loyalty and rewards. Crypto was made for the loyalty industry which is worth billions but almost no one is in the space. I mean what are loyalty points but virtual money, crypto has the dynamics and flexibility to transform the industry and will do. Coval has two famous developers and are starting to build apps onto of the platform. I'm done with arguing with people on bitcointalk so don't respond but I'm am 99.9% sure it's a top 10 project and is worth only peanuts now cause it's hardly known about.
