UFC 300 delivered. I wonder how the PPV buys look likes. Plenty of great and exciting fights. But I actually thought Alex would get the performance of the night with his first round demolition on Jamalal Hill. Rather it was given to Max who who also took the fight of the night with Gaethji. Anyways, I would love to see Alex fight for a chance to make history by becoming a 3 division champion. Jones is old and inactive, while Alex is not young and he could be slower at heavyweight but it's a great fight for the 2 legends.

Have you really watched Pereira vs Hill and Holloway vs Gaethje fights ? It was more than expected that Pereira would knockout Hill with left hook. And Hill was most convenient opponent among all light heavyweights. That punch that landed Max, when it was 1 second left in the fight, I think it is going to be among knock out of the year. Dont forget that Max went one weight class up to face one of the top fighters and won. That is value more than a kickboxer, who has 40 fights, won in a kickboxing manner in a mma fight. The way Pereira knocked out Hill we have seen about 10-15 times already.

If Pereira really goes to heavyweights and faces Jones, he will get choked in one or two minutes. Trust me.

I don't know what to say, to be honest, I am speechless. I really believe Alex Pereira is crazy. That dude got kicked in the "unmentionable" area. Herb Dean tried to stop the fight for a moment and Alex Pereira pushed him aside and kept fighting. Right after that he knocked his opponent out. These things can only be done by crazy people. Of course, Hill missed some chances where he could not connect. If he did the outcome of the fight could have been very different.

Anyway, Alex Pereira was able to connect and was able to win the fight. In the end, he also did celebrations taunting Israel Adesanya. To be honest I expected better from Jamahal Hill. But anyway the knockout was definitely incredible. UFC 300 has given people a lot to talk about, to be honest. I think Pereira and Max Holloway might actually boost the popularity

It was at the right moment when Hill was almost cornered, if Pereira allowed Herb to stop the fight due to his grouch, they would be back in the center again where there is a huge space for Hill to move around. Unfortunately for Hill, he was also hoping Herb to stop the fight lol seemed distracted so the hooker-up punch hit his cheek.

But Max certainly steals the show. He wouldn't even have to go to the center to rumble but he gave Gaethje the chance since Gaethje lost 4 rounds. Gaethje will lose by points anyway.

Not taking away from Holloway. He upset a lot of fans and it was obviously the fight of the night. He moved up in weight again and won. I actually thought Gaethji would be too strong for him. Maybe I am not giving it much credit like Alex since I don't see them both as capable of becoming champions at this stage of their careers.

I just thought Alex would win the performance of the night because he made a short work on Hill in an explosive fashion as well. It was a championship fight and it's not like Hill was a heavy underdog. I had a 1.62 bet on Alex. I know Alex can put anyone to sleep but Hill can hurt him too. I'd be glad to see Alex fight Jones next. I highly doubt slow Jones can choke Alex in 2 minutes. Grin

Ano tong Eigenlayer bai, exchange rin ba to.

Get well soon kabayan. Salamat.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 16, 2024, 07:54:24 AM
There's no problem with money as Inoue is very popular now, he already build himself fighting in his country and has become a top pound for pound fighter I think he is already the number 1 now, so there's no reason his fight won't sell in the USA because he is already popular. If he would move up, I hope he'll start fighting outside in Japan as that's best way to achieve greatness when you have a good record and at the same time the world knows you, just like MP.
There is no problem with money but if Inoue is offered $5 million by Top Rank and $7 million by Ohashi then obviously we know which offer we pick. IIRC, Inoue's fights aren't PPVs so there is no leverage fighting in the US with a lesser purse. Bob and ESPN has to beat the Japanese sponsors' offer if they want Inoue's next fight to happen on American soil.
If Bob believe that Inoue could be better than Pacman and migh become a 9 division champion, then he should be paying him high and bring the fight to the US. We are talking of less than $10 million here, I think that is too low because Inoue is an exciting boxer, so he can easily attract fans to buy for PPV subscription.

Just take the Pacman vs Mayweather fight, ...

Quote
The fight grossed more than $600 million, with the television networks taking in more than $400 million and Pacquiao grossing more than $160 million.[52]
Inoue is worth $100 million i think. As long as he could get a big fight then that will happen but it will nto happen if he stays in Japan.

Definitely Inoue could make that amount of money if he continues to move, but with the current amount he is making, I think he is already satisfied since at the current weight where he is a champion, there's not much money here. Maybe if Inoue will try to move up in weight again, that's the time that he'll have more fights in the USA, but they need to make it faster to take advantage on Inoue's prime, otherwise, they won't be able to break their goal which is to be the 9th division champion to break what Pacman has achieve.

But seriously, does anyone here believe on Bob Arum's comment? Can Inoue be better than Pacman in terms of achievement in boxing?

Lomachenko, Beterbiev and Crawford are also exciting and are future Hall of Famers but they are not big PPV fighters. The same with Inoue, he is popular but I doubt the casuals in Europe and America know him or are interested paying for his fights. His ratings television ratings were probably not that high which is why ESPN and Bob know they cannot offer $10 million or more.

Bob is just promoting Inoue when he said the Japanese can break Pacman's 8-division record. Only casuals will believe that. Inoue's size and age says it all. But both are great fighters. They went separate ways since Inoue is focusing and is spending years on becoming a multiple division undisputed champion. Pacman was never undisputed, he only tried to unify a belt twice and he failed both. Although Pacman was a 5 division lineal champ so that makes him like undisputed if there is only 1 belt in every division.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: April 16, 2024, 07:26:37 AM
5 vs 5 card just announced:

Dubois Vs Hrgovic
Ray Ford vs Nick Ball
Hamzah Sheeraz Vs Austin Williams
Craig Richards Vs Willy Hutchinson
Zhang Vs Wilder

I like how they did this press conference revealing the fighters one by one all masked up so you still have to guess who is there. Dubois Vs Hrgovic & Zhang vs Wilder are great. It could be make or break for those two now. Both need a big win to get them back into the picture.

There was a rumor already about the Zhang vs Wilder being inserted in this fight. And so this press conference make it official. And I do agree, this fight is very much a crossroad for this 2 boxers. Although Zhang has been thought to make it but Parker stop him in his track, and so is Wilder.

Wilder though name has been in the top of this division for many years until that Fury loses and his eventual mental breakdown.

As fans although it could have been late, we wanted to se Wilder vs Joshua as early as 2018-1019 era.

The biggest contribution made by Saudi and Alalshikh to boxing was making the biggest promoters in the world to work together which made these great fights possible. Hopefully, PBC is also willing to offer all its fighters and stop ducking against the best.

Thought Beterbiev vs Bivol card will be fully Matchroom vs Queensberry but it's more like Matchroom vs Queensberry and Top Rank. And there's also Wilder and Zhang inserted. I can see Zhang beating Wilder. Zhang's 2 defeats were also close decisions so he is still mentally sharp and hungry while Wilder has minimal skills unless he lands his haymakers.

Then undefeated and champions Wilder and Joshua could be one of the biggest fight that did not happen. It would've been for the undisputed belts. But Wilder and PBC were always trying to cherry pick and avoided the best. Wilder has never been in the top of the division.

salamat sa input mga kabayan, ang purpose ko naman is maging active din itong local at the same time meron din tayong ibang mapagkaabalahan, saka pinaalam ko muna kasi baka maflag eh mahirap na, pasensya na ngaun lang nakasagot, will start this week hopefully, pero ito ay makakaakibat na risk kaya dapat burner wallet gamitin natin para safe.

Ayos yan kabayan.

So far naka 7k+ petot na rin ako which is not bad na rin in 6 days.

Does Naoya Inoue need to fight in the US? Pound-for-pound boxing star is unconvinced

The same article also posted that Inoue already fought in the US three times, for me, Inoue is already a superstar and he need not go to the US to prove something his records and the names he has on his records speak for himself.

And besides it is not only in America where you can make a lot of money, UK, Japan and now Saudi Arabia can offer the same like what the US promotions can to aspiring and fully established boxers.
Exactly. Same reason why Anthony Joshua does not need to go to the US because he is already filling stadiums in the UK. Rich countries that are also fond of boxing like UK, Japan, Saudi, etc, are capable of outbidding American promoters and networks.

I would agree that money could be what holding Inoue's to fight outside Japan. But maybe what fans and other former boxer want for him is to be expose with different audience. Again, we don't want him to be compare to again Asian great, Manny Pacquiao. But Manny took the hard road and make a name for himself by fighting bigger names in the US.

And now that he is in the peak of his career, he should expose himself to the US boxing fans. Yes, there are Saudi and other nations that he can fight, but there is no denying that US is still the home of boxing.
Honestly, I like how Bob Arum hates PPVs. No PPVs means ordinary fans around the world can watch big fights for free or with less fees. This is probably the same reason why ESPN and Bob can seldom beat Inoue's local promoter although I don't think his fights are even PPVs in Japan. It's more on giant companies in Japan willing to sponsor and fight fans willing to buy expensive tickets for their local hero.

The US is just the biggest economy and the biggest boxing market in the world which is why most big fights happens or should be televised in the US. Pacman, Loma, Canelo, Usyk, etc. came from developing countries which is why they need to travel outside of their countries.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 15, 2024, 07:15:15 AM
[...]
Fight is still very far we haven't seen the initial press or kick off press conference but this is going to be a big fight for Tank Davis. Not a tune up fight, as others might think of it.
I was about to say this. It must suck for Frank Martin to stay undefeated and rise up the ranks only to be called as a tune up fight hehe. Let's see how he responds about those statements in the ring but I bet he must be fired up while working in the gym right now.

As the biggest name in the division, Tank could choose any of the elite champions in the division and it would be considered a superfight. He is choosing Frank Marin instead, who is a good fighter but clearly a step down from Shakur, Haney and Loma.

For Frank Martin, after blatantly ducking Shakur, this will be the first we see him tested on this level. He has beaten two undefeated fighters in his last 2 fights, as well as some solid veterans, however we still haven’t seen enough of him to know what his ceiling is. If he didn’t think he could beat Shakur, then how can he be ready for Tank? I think he knows he is expected to lose, but he is just being a good team player for PBC, who is using him as a viable name to build up Tank while protecting him from losing to the non-PBC fighters he continues to avoid.

What do we expect from Al Haymon? While the biggest promotional rivals in the UK and in the US are now working together for the mega fights, PBC remained silent.

See how the poster is hyping casuals and the blind PBC fan boys by using the most garbage ranking in the sport. Cheesy Anyways, this is probably the best match up inside PBC in this division. Frank got good skills but he is unproven. I used to think about him and Top Rank's hot prospect Keyshawn Davis fighting each other.

But this not worthy of a PPV event. Benavidez is fighting the returning and old Gvozdyk. Corrupt WBC once again wanting a share of their purse by making this an eliminator instead of forcing the mandate or stripping Canelo.
169  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Listahan ng mga Crypto Platform, Trading Platform Blocked by SEC on: April 15, 2024, 05:55:02 AM

Cheesy
170  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 15, 2024, 03:49:40 AM

Mukhang eto na ang normal na Halving week kasi dahan dahan ng bumabagsak ang price and not like nung nakaraan eh after bumaba sa 62k eh pumalo agad paakyat but this time eh mukhang bababa pa meaning what we are expecting to happen is here , and advantage naman talaga to dahil  makakabili nnman tayo ng malaki laki.

172  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BITCOIN HALVING - YOUR PREPARATION on: April 14, 2024, 07:40:03 AM

BTC 27%
ETH 17%
BNB 13%
Other 1%
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 14, 2024, 07:15:03 AM
Lakers have a tougher job, they are going to play against Pelicans, Kings have a much easier job, they are playing against Blazers who are tanking and I am sure that they are going to win that one. Lakers managing to get that 8th place is good for them, they will Suns probably, but maybe Pelicans yet again if they beat Pelicans and Suns wins too that means Pelicans drop to 7th as well, this is why Lakers have a hard job beating Pelicans ones.

Let's see how it goes but I feel like this last bit of situation will be very very tough for Lakers. If not, they could just beat whoever is at 9th-10th they face, not easy to beat Kings or Warriors as well, so it is going to be hard to get a win there too, but easier than Pelicans or Suns.

The Warriors and the Kings are expected to tie with the Lakers tomorrow. But of course, the Lakers will be at full force tomorrow and has the experience advantage over the Pelicans who will also give their best to stay safe inside top 6 while also having the home advantage.

Anyways, all teams are playing tomorrow for their final games. The good thing about these games, the outcomes are very important to almost all of the teams except maybe for Boston who already secured the top spot while the Wizards are already out for the playoffs.

Inuna ang platforms na may huge user based thinking na they will follow the regulations (sadly hindi) at para maging aware ang mga  nasa baba and knew what they're going to do — get a license, if seryoso sila sa business nila to get PH users, pag hindi then iisa isahin yan, since nasimulan na sa mga popular platforms how much more sa mga maliit lang.
...

175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 14, 2024, 03:57:42 AM
And it's just one week from this fight. But there are mix emotions whether tickets are going to be sold out or not. Garcia blame it all on Devin as he is not a crowd draw and it's just himself selling the fights.

On the other hand, fight is in New York, and the price is very expensive.

We will see then, if I'm not mistaken, the stadium can hold 19,000 so that is a lot of tickets to be sold.

It's just very expensive in New York. I remember checking tickets for their NBA team New York Knicks. That time the team was mediocre but the tickets are still more expensive than some of the top teams in the league.

Anyways, maybe it won't be sold out but pretty sure it should do decent PPV numbers if not great. But I do agree that Haney does not sell PPVs. Because he is obviously boring to watch. His last fight was sold out because he is a native of San Francisco. What makes a fighter really marketable is its ability to sell PPVs worldwide.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 14, 2024, 03:28:03 AM
There is no denying that to be a great boxer and cementing his legacy, he will have to cross that border to the US and fight and let's see how he will fair with the Americans. He could beat them all for all we know and what manner.

But the thing is that we don't know how Inoue is when face unfamiliar situations, maybe he had feel this before when he fights in the US and that's why he doesn't want to experience it again.

So far the toughest challenge Inoue experienced was his first fight against the legendary Nonito Donaire and it was also in Japan. Inoue passed that test with flying colors. So it shows he can adjust and handle very tough situations. And he just became better after that. But I expect his body to start diminishing slowly as he age.

All of Inoue's fights outside Japan were dominant victories and ended in knockouts. I think Inoue is willing to travel everywhere as shown in the past. But Bob Arum and ESPN has to give higher purse if they want Inoue to fight outside Japan because the country is also very rich and is capable of bringing big events at home.
All of them merong ATM na magagamit mo all the time since they supported cryptocurrency napakadali lang mag convert to our currency na pwedi mo rin magamit direct to your bank account or bank transfer.

178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 11, 2024, 06:47:15 AM
^^ If I'm not mistaken, Brandon Figueroa has been calling Inoue at 126 lbs and all those champions have been taken notice already that there could be a chance that Inoue will go up again and challenge them in the future.

We really don't know yet, but if we look at Inoue's frame, he could easily add 4 more lbs to his frame or he could be walking at 126 lbs or more in off season so I think there will be no problem for him. And the power though, he could be more powerful when he goes up in weight, similar to Devin Haney wherein he was not known to be a big puncher at 135 lbs, but when he moves to 140 lbs, he knock down a supposedly power puncher in Regis Prograis.

Inoue's team mentioned before that they will take 2 to 3 title defenses and then they might consider moving up again to 126. I am also expecting Inoue to move up in weight next year.

The difference though is Haney is still young and he just moved up in his second weight division while Inoue already is 6 divisions above once he enters 126. But it should be doable. However I guess 126 is Inoue's final division as he is already in his early 30s. It will be more risky to continue moving up in weight while fighting bigger and heavier opponents.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 11, 2024, 06:01:05 AM
I thought Boots is one of those fighters that will remain loyal and worships Al Haymon even if there are bigger offers outside. Well, at least he proved his loyalty in the past when he rejected the offer of Crawford for the WBO belt and then bark like a stupid dog when Crawford unified all the belts and clearly has no intention of remaining in the division.

Boots has the skills and power but he is untested. Eddie and DAZN have the deepest pockets in the sport while also partnered with Saudi Arabia. Maybe Crawford should vacate all the remaining belts now and let the young guns fight each other.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your top performing altcoin this year so far?? on: April 11, 2024, 05:41:42 AM
I also sold nearly all my holdings into stable coin a few weeks ago. I think it's bitcoin that performed well in my portfolio. I started my DCA when Bitcoin dropped to $15k something. So it was an easy 450% growth. Nonetheless, some of my altcoins performed well too. Chainlink was around 300%. Doge and Syscoin were more than 200% in growth.

All in all, I guess we are not yet in altcoin season. Most of them haven't touched their previous ATH yet unlike Bitcoin. I am planning to more altcoins every time there are corrections.
