He's different and has a different approach towards his body, he invests a lot on it and if every player is getting a huge contract as his. Then, for sure that they'll also the same self care with their bodies and will invest $1M on it yearly.
LeBron is a good example because, despite being an exceptional player, he still ensures to take care of his body. You can really tell that he is a disciplined man, unlike other superstars who love to party and enjoy their fortunes made in the NBA, which can lead them to forget about their future. At Lebron's age now, he still a decent player who could easily average a double double, so I'm sure he'll stay for awhile.

It's really amazing how Lebron continues to play at a high level. Not saying he is the only one capable of doing it but there are only a few superstars that can do near his average. He can score, not just thru volume attempts but his accuracy remains very good. His eye coordination is still great along with his reflexes reason why his assist is still high. And despite his age, he continues to grab rebounds consistently. It also means Bron is taking care of his body a lot. He is also open to the way he invested millions of dollars to help maintain his body. So from nutritionists, therapists, and other health experts traditional or modern, Bron is into it.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 20, 2023, 12:49:03 PM
Both Santiago and Donaire will earn not just the possible crowd, but the main deal is the money that will going to flow.

It's the way how they will use this opportunity individually to hype up their careers, more viewers more chance of good upcoming fights.
That's business; they will not make this fight happen without money. It's not a real competition where they are representing their country. Nowadays, it's just secondary, as money is the main inspiration for these boxers who want to be at the top.

Yeah, nowadays money talks a lot. And if there are fighters that are more focused on achievements they are still powerless because their promoters and networks are the ones investing and putting money on them. Even managers, coaches, and other staff will always convince a fighter to go for the money route as their salaries depend on how much the fighter is receiving.

Anyways, looks like we are going to watch Inoue vs Fulton first before Donaire's historic attempt to become the oldest bantamweight champion in history. And there's also Crawford's historic attempt to become the first-ever 2-division undisputed champion in this 4-belt era, in the main event.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 20, 2023, 12:05:40 PM
^^ Most likely two scenarios,

a. fans who bought the ticket for the Donaire vs Santiago will be refunded full.
b. or they are going to be given the chance to watch it on the reschedule fight.

So everything is building right now, the fans of both in social media are hyping the fight and have their own predictions on how the fight is going to end. I still haven't decided yet. But I might bet as the fight gets closer to the date.

That is the best thing they can do and it is more likely that the fans who have bought the ticket have an option to choose between A or B because it will be unreasonable if they will decide without asking which is more comfortable to the fans as they were the ones who dragged the fight in the first place without giving any prior notice and to give them time to adjust with the new posted schedule if they can make it work. Also, best assume that most fans who bought the ticket cannot watch the fight live anymore specially to the people who have a hectic schedule or work.

That would be the expected scenario. The sad thing about fight postponements or changing of matches is that many of these fans are from far away states counties or states or even from other countries and they already booked their flights and hotels. So this is common to traveling fight fans but there is nothing they can do but probably continue their weekend short vacations and just enjoy the other stuff if they do not like the new fights, especially the new main events. I always hear these complaints and reactions from these fans but well, things sometimes happen unexpectedly.

If all of us have the luxury of both time and money, we're all going to be in the Crawford-Spence duel drinking beers. Grin
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 20, 2023, 11:34:17 AM
Quest is still strong without ATF but it's possible that ATF was the brain during all of their run.

Quest esport is the only team that won 3-0 ( 6-0 ) for their first 3 games and currently Xtreme Gaming won the 1st map against them. I thought they could make a clean sweep for today then advance to the group stage on the very first day.

I thought for sure that Quest will be quite handicapped since ATF is one of their playmakers before. Good thing they made it work with Malik, and they still look incredibly in form albeit not really finding their rhythm during the early stages of their games. Hopefully though they continue this run and form up until the TI season. They're really a good team with ATF, and they understand the meta quite well I must say.

I guess nobody expected that Quest will continue its huge run. How many days they only had to replace ATF? It seems like it is only 2 days something to prepare and familiarize Malik and they also add a new coach at that time. And all of a sudden they are playing really well like nothing changed to their team. I felt excited for them although we still see them mixing it up with the top teams that are waiting.

Meanwhile, hoping for Team Secret to make it to the next stage. These coming games against 9 Pandas won't be easy though. A lot of ties in the groups, I thought there are tie-breaker rules but I cannot find them.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2023, 05:28:21 PM
Yes, WBC now has mandated Haney to fight Shakur. So Haney has until Friday to decide whether he wanted to pursue that fight or not. If he goes to 140 lbs, then it will be Regis Prograis waiting for him.

Hard decision for Haney?

Less risk for him is Prograis obviously.

High risk is Shakur. But definitely more money in the table perhaps. But I think Shakur has a good chance to pull an upset.
Man, that's something Haney's camp should deeply think about. Fighting Shakur and winning it will give Haney more fame and money while moving up one weight against Regis Prograis will give him the easy way according to them because of Prograis's slow movements. I will not be so sure about that.

Although they say Haney has already decided he will be fighting Prograis, it seems like his confidence in Prograis from his last Twitter posts is giving them the doubt to decide clearly. It could go south, that's a possibility, this is boxing. They cannot just underestimate Prograis because I think he is also ready to fight anyone.

"Regis Prograis Says Devin Haney "stuck Between Rock And A Hard Place"
https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/07/regis-prograis-says-devin-haney-stuck-between-rock-and-a-hard-place/
That's the best way to define their status now. But they will have to decide or else his belt will be stripped.

Money wise fighting Shakur will bring him higher anticipated paycheck while career wise, taking Prograis may give him a decent chance to continue holding a title, though if he's thinking about hype and respect as a fighter taking that risk against Shakur is really something that fans will love to witness, with the time frame that being given for his camp to decide, only one option or else his belt will be stripped.

Expecting something aside from avoiding hahaha, I mean looking to see that he will take the tougher road in facing Shakur.

I also prefer Haney to face Shakur. Earlier, Shakur already declined Haney's laughable offer of 25/75 which means the undisputed champion does not want the smoke by offering something he knew is not acceptable. But now that the WBC announced the mandate we will see if Haney will accept the mandate of just moving up against either lineal and WBO champion Teofimo Lopez or WBC champ, Regis Prograis.  The WBC has no very clear split sharing as it might announce as high as 70/30 for the champion to even 50/50 depending on the situation.

I really want to see Haney face Shakur but my prediction on this is he will move up and face Teofimo Lopez for a chance to become a 2-division lineal champion. WBC champion, Prograis may look easier due to his last fight's poor performance but Lopez also had bad performances before an upset over Josh Taylor. Teofimo Lopez is also the bigger money fight than Prograis unless Matchroom and DAZN will overprice it in order to convince Haney to return to them.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 19, 2023, 05:03:58 PM
This is an aberration from the Olympic games that we know and have enjoyed. The beauty of Olympic games is to even see participants who have been banned from continuing on the game for such allegations of dope and taking enhancement drugs. Although this is seen as rival sports but it will gradually influence the sports games and make organisers to relax laws against enhancement drugs in sports. I have heard of sex sports in Sweden and this is also coming up, I guess we are about to see a new creation from what we know in sports soon.

Well, I believe that it will be the opposite that happens. Organizations, federations, and sports groups will add further punishments, suspensions, and bans on any athletes, clubs, teams, and groups that allow themselves participating to this kind of event. I also doubt that there are companies willing to sponsor athletes or this type of event that allows doping and other illegal substances. Even governments will make a ban on this and its organizers. Maybe they can hold this event in North Korea if they can persuade Jung Un.

With regards to Sweden officially approving sex as a sport, it is not true. But we expect more reasonable events and activities that will be added as a sport soon.

1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 19, 2023, 03:49:07 PM
Yes it could be. But we also need to have positive mindset and the right attitude so we can sustain our investment and make it successful in the end. While I have to admit that we need passion in everything we do, but passion on its own is simply not enough. We need more than patience and understanding the market and our investment, aside from gaining knowledge and skills in the first place.

Yes, of course, passion is not enough, especially during these hard times. We need more than just passion but personally, I will be more positive and confident to further enhance it and have more patience rather than something I am not fond of or compared to other jobs that need skills that are okay but not my passion. Although we can still grow and have the passion for these jobs it is not the same as the things we love to do.

And there are also times that we need to just pursue a career in something that is not our preferred due to difficulty looking for jobs and business opportunities and there is nothing wrong with it.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 19, 2023, 03:15:25 PM
He might not shown his intentions directly, but thru his words, you can clearly that he is willing to get out of Philly and go to a championship contender team. Philly though has surrounded him with good players like a prime Ben, before the breakdown, and we have seen them getting closer, if not for that heart breaking lost to the Raptors lead by Kawhi. And now that Harden's want to leave, then it will be Embiid job again and it might be very difficult to him because he need another good A-caliber player to help him.

Clearly, Embiid is not enough to bring the 76ers into the championship because he already proved that the job is too much for him, and the farthest place they go was only the Eastern Conference finals, They can't even get to the NBA finals these past few years. that's why they really need to work on their rosters to effectively improve, not just gonna randomly sign or trade star players that are not even interested to have the same goal as them. In other words, it's really nice for them to take out James Harden since he hasn't been effective in the last season and it could be worse if they don't make any move.

Prime Ben was not enough but if only this guy developed into something more than he was maybe they remained a serious contender in the following years. Harden is not in his prime anymore but I won't call his years in Philly ineffective, it's just that there are a lot of super teams in the NBA nowadays. If Harden would've remained in Philly then they are still a threat in the East.

The Boston Celtics is an example of a super team already yet it continues to grind hard in the market looking for openings and opportunities. Although I still prefer teams that are not star-studded but have enough role players like the Denver Nuggets.

Most of what you have talked about are just assumptions that you made @OP,
You also have little to ZERO idea about each nation's population and military capability.
Each country has their own military power that you know fully until there is a crisis that demands it. Forget the numbers and what it is reported on the internet about the power, size and strength of the military of some countries, some countries will surprise you with how strong their military is in size and tactics when they are at war. The military pf every country has been developing over the years and is not what it was yesterday that people know.

I started to become addicted to wars and world history when I was 10 years old. So I started and wanted to read all the wars and conflicts and history and geography of course to better understand the backgrounds from different sources to avoid bias and come up with better imagination. And it would be the dumbest idea to ignore the various statistics reported unless you have better knowledge to start your estimates than those groups and organizations which actually consist of experts, researchers, agents, etc. Obviously, they are not accurate but they are a good basis to start estimating their numbers and capabilities.

The nukes will be the real equalizers when it comes to total war and nobody will want to start a nuclear war unless it is out of desperation or when some of these superpowers are already depleted.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: July 19, 2023, 01:56:54 PM
So now that Canelo Alvarez had signed a 3-fight deal with PBC, Bivol was hanging without an opponent. A pursuit of unifying the belt against the 3-belt holder Artur Beterbiev is in the picture but I wonder if both networks and promoters agree to a deal. But the longer this plays out, the more Beterbiev is disadvantaged due to his age so there is also the possibility that Top Rank and ESPN may not really want to match them unless Bivol can be signed by Top Rank.

DAZN and Eddie Hearn should let Bivol have a 1 or 2 fight deal under the exclusive rights of Top Rank and ESPN if they really want to happen it ASAP. The WBC is all about money so greedy Sulaiman can cancel or make an exemption on its nonsense ban on Russian fighters when given the right amount of cheque.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II on: July 19, 2023, 01:19:04 PM
...there are great undercard fights though like Mckean and Fisher. it should be a good prospect to bet on.

I am expecting another KO win by Johnny Fisher. The main supporting event is what made me curious. I say a lot of guts there by Demsey McKean for taking the fight and many fans are even believing that he can pull a win over The Animal. Props to him for taking this fight but I really doubt there is anyone in boxing right now that can beat Filip especially when he is at his best, except Usyk and Fury which I believe are all 50/50 fights if the bouts are in neutral places. If McKean will be allowed by the referee to bring his dirty tactics, he may survive and bring the fight to a decision but if the referee will make the fight clean, Hrgovic should easily destroy him or put a boxing clinic.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KINGPYN BOXING Competition on: July 17, 2023, 02:20:49 PM
Not really interested in this type of boxing event. They are made because these influencers have huge followers and fans which made some boxing promoters and networks interested for business purposes. And of course, many casuals with zero to little knowledge of boxing will watch these fights because they thought these are super fights and are real.

The only time I watched a live celebrity match was when I tuned in during the middle of the fight between Jake Paul and grandpa MMA legend, Anderson Silva. It could be real but there is also a part of me that tells Silva was controlling himself not to seriously spank the special child.

And of course, I will try to watch Fury-Ngannou. I would love to see the inactive and slow-as-turtle Francis Ngannou brutally put Belly Duck Fury to sleep. It's a mission impossible though as Fury will humiliate Ngannou with his stiff jabs. Ngannou will be gassed out after 3 or 4 rounds and might beat himself by not answering the bell. Still, I love to know that Francis gets paid 8 digits after escaping from his shogun and dictator. Cheesy
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 17, 2023, 01:49:55 PM
Yeah it is on a bigger stage but sadly they are not the main event.

Regardless, even not a main event, what matter is, it's a title fight.

Not that really a big deal that from an expected main event, it will now be part of the undercard of the mega bout between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. Promoters did a great job here to boost the PPV sales after the changes happened on the original undercard list.

The main event is not just a unification bought but for the undisputed belts so it really deserves as the main event. And there is a possibility that Bud might take the pound-for-pound king status if he dominates and wins the fight.

But I would've preferred this fight as the main undercard since this is a title fight. It is still Pitbull Cruz against Giovanni Cabrera as the main supporting event though it is also a WBA and WBC eliminator. And the fact that Donaire is not a PBC fighter, it is not surprising that they prefer Pitbull to have better exposure leading into the main event.

I doubt Donaire will get a share of the PPV revenue but obviously, he gets a higher purse here rather than the earlier schedule which is why both he and Santiago have no problem moving their scheduled fight.

Looking forward for some historic victories by Donaire and Crawford. Oldest current champion, the oldest bantamweight champion ever for Donaire, and the first-ever 2-division undisputed champion in the 4-belt era for Crawford.
1115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Situation war and security all over the world problem in europe on: July 17, 2023, 12:30:18 PM
STFU mate! You know nothing. Who brainwashed you? A biased one-sided book or a teacher with limited knowledge? I will never be biased for the USA as well but your analysis is laughable. You cannot even picture thru your mind the whole map of the world. Germany for instance is in central Europe which is nearer to Russia which means it will be taken first before France and so on. You also have little to ZERO idea about each nation's population and military capability.

But yeah, because I was laughing so hard, I was able to finish reading your post.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 17, 2023, 12:07:24 PM
^Obviously the Phoenix Suns are just trying to open up some space because it's going to hurt them with Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and DeAndre Ayton on their roster. Big names mean big salaries that are eating their salary cap.

It must've hurt the feelings of Cam Payne. He did his best to show how he stepped up his performance in every game just so he could keep his position for the Phoenix Suns. But, this is all business. They now have Beal and they will probably just focus on him and Booker as their guards, they won't need a backup anymore.
That's the sad truth with these teams and the entire league, no matter how good you are then at the end of it everything matters as a business.
This could be a blessing in disguise for Cam. He might lose a lot of playing time in the next season with Beal and Booker taking any of the guard positions. Cam if he trains and competes well in San Antonio can shine, especially if Wembanyama turns into a machine next season or the following seasons.

Good for San Antonio Spurs, they now have a veteran perspective in their roster, that's if they won't move Payne to another team. I think he can do some help for the young Wemby.
Maybe that's what they're trying to do but still, I think that they need more than that.
This trade is a big win for San Antonio and I felt like they are already looking forward to becoming a serious contender as fast as they could which might be possible if Wemby can average 20+ points and some more meaningful stats next season. I even saw earlier an article about the Spurs' potential to get Zion Williamson.

It's nice to see another opportunity for Bol to play and maybe show his skills and keep his position with the Suns, else, he may
no longer have the same chance to play again with another team/s.

He needs to keep on improving to save his spot in this league, Skillset wise, he just needs to needed to keep improving for more.
This young guy still have a lot to push. Give some love for yah boi Bol Bol.
He is still young and very capable of turning himself into a star one day. This exposure of having to play with these 4 superstars is huge and he will learn a lot. I can feel the excitement. Phoenix did something extraordinary by not just combining 3 superstars but 4. Maybe the media is not giving much attention to this because the city is not as big as LA or San Franciso, etc. but they will become the main talks if the quadrumvirate works very well.
1117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 17, 2023, 11:42:26 AM
Yeah, being patient is the key. And I am considering this year and even the previous year where the market is still far compared to bullish years, a blessing in disguise where we can grind harder in order to invest more. I am not sure if bitcoin at $100k is attainable in this cycle, maybe $90k+ but still it is many times growth to our capital if we already started investing. I am doing a monthly DCA but I felt like I need more money to invest. My investment might grow 400% but this might not be that big depending on the amount we are investing. I am looking for something big, a life-changing profit is my goal this coming bull run.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 17, 2023, 11:20:26 AM
The only thing that I can imagine on this is that most of the normal gamblers that are LGBTQ will attend only online casinos, but there are other people that will attend physical casinos, and those people are very rich, like having a bodyguard and security because the feeling is very different when playing the actual one, and for sure they want it, but if those people are just like us normal people, for sure they are scared to go to a physical casino as they are bullied or worse, get hurt.

It's weird. I'd been into some casinos here and I cannot find anything wrong with having an LGBTQ+ playing. Even if they dress in their usual clothes as long as they are not loud and trying to get the attention of the people around then there should be nothing wrong.

I haven't seen a scenario of bullying of an LGBTQ+ in a casino but maybe this is possible in countries where old traditions are still very popular. So it also means that whether they are in a casino or not, bullying on LGBTQ+ members is still happening.

Online casinos though are free from anything because no one sees us. No eye will judge our looks or the way we play. But still, everyone should be treated equally.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 17, 2023, 11:00:30 AM
I believe so. In a perfect world, we are supposed to do what we love to do. We are supposed to do what is in line with our gifts and skills. Maybe we cannot call it work or job anymore since we are liking it and enjoying. So obviously, our passion leads to more success and success is everything including our net worth.

Although there are also exceptions. When we talk about passion, it also means happiness. Many people do not dream of becoming super rich. Personally, I also like to develop and build a career out of my passion. And when the time comes that I am satisfied with my net worth, I will most likely just donate and help those in need rather than focus on the growth of my wealth.

To hype the fight more, here is ALL ACCESS: Spence vs. Crawford | Ep 1 | Full Episode | SHOWTIME PPV.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4JkMZtv8yA

You can hear both of them talking about the fight, there trainings and the attitude. I advise everyone to follow the All Access so that we can see a glimpse of this two boxers are they are going for a super fight.

I am really curious about the outcome of the numbers in this fight. I felt like there is not enough buzz. While Crawford made some trash-talking, he seems controlling it, probably trying not to get under Spence's skin or the Texan gets scared and withdraw? Cheesy Geez, Bud is turning 36.

Anyways, with Jermell Charlo vacating all the belts at 154 for his fight with Canelo, Bud's dream of getting a shot at the undisputed belts at 154 is becoming nearly impossible. A trilogy with Spence is even possible if they can tie it at 1-1. Although I would love for any of these sanctioning bodies to offer a vacant belt at 154 for the rematch which would make Bud a legit 4-division world champion or Spence a 2-division world champion.
