161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are the things you are doing right now on: July 26, 2021, 05:15:02 PM
Since the market goes down and BTC is now at 31,000, what are the things you are doing besides trading, for sure everyone is measuring and looking at the current market and waiting were to have an entry, do you still trade or do some task, lang play to earn games in crypto?
I myself, still do some research for coins that i like, making small trades and invest on coins which i think will give me some profit along the way, so that i will have extra money to buy coins,
how about you?

Since the market is currently down, I am focusing on earning through NFT's specifically Axie Infinity. It has been the talk of the town for the past few months and huge profit are being gained by many as they play the game. With regards to bitcoin, I am buying or investing on it while the value is still low and I am hoping it would be beneficial to me once it experiences or go through another bull run and make new all time highs. I am also eyeing on other altcoins like ETH, BNB and I am still looking for other means on how I can earn more and invest more. Crypto has been a blessing ever since, so I will always dedicate most of my time on it.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 26, 2021, 04:41:09 PM
This is another good news as Bitcoin adoption is increasing year after year, there has never been a direct means to use Bitcoin as payment on Amazon, but there will be changes even before the end of the year. Amazon is already planning to add Bitcoin to its payment method, it was said that the directive is coming from the Amazon president, Jeff Bazos.

“This isn’t just going through the motions to set up cryptocurrency payment solutions at some point in the future – this is a full-on, well-discussed, integral part of the future mechanism of how Amazon will work,” she told City AM.

“It begins with Bitcoin – this is the key first stage of this crypto project, and the directive is coming from the very top… Jeff Bezos himself.”

The insider also explained that directors of the world’s fourth largest company were keen to move towards ticking off other big cryptocurrencies once it had established a fast and secure method of Bitcoin payment.
Just imagine how much progress and influence it can give to bitcoin if ever this is real and this would take place. There are millions of people who uses Amazon and patronize it and also it is one of the top five biggest company so just see how it would impact to bitcoin's current value and reputation. Just imagine how much trust has been given to bitcoin and for sure, lots of huge companies and organizations would follow through and will also include bitcoin as a mode of payment. It is a breakthrough for bitcoin and let us hope it would work properly so that bitcoin would be publicized even more.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 26, 2021, 04:20:33 PM
Another clear picture on how much bitcoin is already progressing. Little by little or inch by inch, bitcoin is starting to be able to become publicized through different means and in no time, we will definitely see it becoming one of the primary currency the whole world will be using. Amazon is a huge company that is in line with the other huge companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple and Facebook. It would surely make a huge impact to bitcoin's price as well as its influence so let us hope it would work out well as it becomes a form of payment for Amazon.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: July 25, 2021, 06:43:09 PM
For 2 months, market is not consistent. In the past, I have seen worse but the market bounced back well. The current scenario is so weird for me. Almost all the currencies, I have been holding has fallen to where it was when I bought. Can the market ever be back? Im a part time miner by the way.
In terms of having the market recovering, for now we cannot be certain about it. There are a lot of things happening lately like the crisis with China restricting bitcoin and other crypto mining as well as El Salvador's state as they become the very first to regulate bitcoin within their territory. If you are currently investing on a coin wherein its value is not increasing nor decreasing, make a move already and do not take part on how they handle their money. Patience will always be a key for you to be successful so just keep on holding and trust crypto.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 25, 2021, 03:08:42 PM
When it comes to holding, it is clear that not all coins are worth it to keep anymore. There will be some that will end up being a dead coin while others will still be striving continuously. Choose wisely which coin you are going to invest to and make sure you analyze not only the price movement of that certain coin but also the future of it. If it is with bitcoin, we should know how it might end up in the future already wherein there is no other way it is going to but to go up. With other altcoins, know already that some of it will fail, only those that are stable and has a potential will keep on remaining and surviving.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: End Game? on: July 25, 2021, 02:20:07 PM
Hopefully I'm not alone in this thought but what is the end game? The way I see it is that these last few years of price movement is just price speculation. Complete idiots are putting money in this machine and expecting a profit. Too many people don't know anything about how BTC even works.

I just don't get it. Am I just maturing in my opinions of this industry? What is the end game here?

I know what I did, bought low and sold high and moved along. My profits are measured in my local currency, I don't see how BTC will ever fill that void to be universal.

Do we just wait patiently, buy the dip over the next year or so, and sell our bags to the next wave of dreamers? I miss the days when BTC was just this interesting internet money that was on the darknet.

Thanks for reading, would love to hear if anyone else has these thoughts on a daily basis.
Bitcoin will have a great future soon, we just need to be firm in our investments. Just keep buying during the low and selling on high, let us learn how to play this game and avoid being a slave on the system the world has given has. It is quite confusing why most of the people chose to stick on their unhealthy and lifestyle that is not progressing. They should know and learn that bitcoin and other crypto offers them breakthrough from that cycle they are stuck into. The end game will be defined of all the things you are doing in your life, do not settle for less, find a way to escape the slavery brought to you by the world.

167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: July 25, 2021, 01:15:33 PM
It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that you should never miss and you would regret it so much once you chose to ignore it. In my case, I chose to learn about it too late. The price of bitcoin grew a lot when I decided to dedicate my time on it. I saw it as the future although we cannot be certain about it yet hence we can be sure that it will have a place in the future. You will receive lots of benefits once you choose to focus on it. So if you had or you will get to know about it, do not let it slip in your hands anymore and invest what you can lose on it.
168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it safe to us to get Covid -19 Vaccine? on: July 25, 2021, 12:16:23 PM
We all have our freedom upon choosing if we will get vaccinated or not. The news and the statistics will surely show us that it is entirely safe yet they cannot provide much data that would support their claim. If we'll be logical about it, it is too fast for someone or any organization to make a vaccine for a virus that showed up last year. There are a lot of illness that existed yet there are no vaccine that was made for it. Maybe it is just a cover up to lessen or manipulate the people's view towards the virus and its severity in a global scale.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you afraid of the current market situation. on: July 24, 2021, 02:54:32 PM
It is normal to be afraid on different circumstances that happens in the crypto world but as long as you studied the price movements and the common phenomena it experiences over the years, you should not let the FUDs get you. It has been a common mistake of many for many years already wherein we see lots of those who let their fear take over their decision making which leads to regrets. Sometimes, it becomes traumatic for them making them stop trying since they disappointed theirselves for not being patient and wise during a certain situation like bear markets.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 24, 2021, 02:23:40 PM
Robert kiyosaki said on his youtube channel (The Rich Dad Channel)

"this is real financial education, what they don't teach you in school...so there's three kinds of people in the world when it comes to money, there's an investor, a trader, and a speculator"

- INVESTOR = an investor puts capital to use for long-term profit.
- TRADER = a trader seeks to make short-term profits by buying and selling over and over again.
- SPECULATOR = a speculator just gambles and hopes that other parties will dare to pay higher his/her tokens or coins later.

i'm an investor, not very trading savvy, just buy Bitcoin and some Altcoins for long-term.  How about you friend?

I tend to exercise my capability of being the three. I am an investor and I am currently investing on bitcoin and ethereum right now as well as diversifying some of it on some potential altcoins that I see. Also, I am a trader and I do it on some altcoins I currently see that are booming right now. Being a speculator for me is necessary whenever you are investing or trading, through being a speculator, you get to have the chance to know what's on trend or the current situation in the market making you capable of making the right decisions that will mostly benefit you in the future.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If it is more convenient for people to buy Bitcoin, will Bitcoin be more popular on: July 24, 2021, 11:57:08 AM

Cryptocurrency ATM company Bitcoin Depot has announced a long-term partnership with Circle K, a convenience store chain in the United States and Canada.
Bitcoin Depot plans to install ATMs in "thousands" of Circle K convenience stores. Bitcoin Depot stated that its ATM machines enable users to exchange cash for cryptocurrency, allowing simple face-to-face transactions, giving users immediate access to Bitcoin and more than 30 other cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin Depot has installed more than 700 Bitcoin ATMs in 30 states in the United States and Canada.

If it is more convenient for people to buy Bitcoin, will Bitcoin be more popular?
If you don’t know Bitcoin, and you see this ATM when you go to buy bread, do you buy Bitcoin with change?
If you didn't buy it this time, when you saw these ATMs elsewhere, would you be curious to buy some?

source
It is indeed convenient to buy bitcoin yet there are a lot of factors that is needed to be considered first before everyone gets encouraged to buy it. One is its volatility, we are all aware that bitcoin's value changes over time and buying is not always an ideal thing. Another is the possible fees that will be required before you can make a transaction, since bitcoin gives us financial freedom, it will make no sense to put too much fee granted by the government or any other organization. It will surely be a good help as the number of bitcoin ATM grows still we cannot expect everyone to buy bitcoin through it specially when there is a bull run going on.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we raise our kids in this kinda society on: July 23, 2021, 04:55:43 PM
Society nowadays doesn't seem like anything we grew up in, it's so complex and diverse that I can't help but wonder if this is where my kids are going to grow up and how do I manage.
While growing up fraudulent activities, prostitution, and others were seen as heinous crimes whereas today it is seen as a norm. How do I send my children out to society even with a thorough upbringing and not be afraid not knowing what society will through at them? It frightens me. Can't help but wonder.
The world has changed a lot and it is mostly detrimental for the next generation. If we're going to look back at our childhood, we can see how different the world is right now. Maybe we can blame it to the innovations made by technology as well as the way of thinking of the older ones and even the ways of the government at the present. Most children nowadays thirst to be heard and also aggressive to exercise their rights. The society is too judgemental and at the same time longs to normalize a lot of unusual stuffs which keeps on shaping the world into an uglier mold, at some point we find the new generation hopeless due to all of the happenings in the world.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: July 23, 2021, 04:34:50 PM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

When I entered the crypto market, I had 70% in my bank accounts and 30% on crypto. It might look like I was scared and doubting but crypto at that time is not yet as promising as it is right now. Even though I only had few invested in crypto, as it grows over the years, I didn't sell most of it and let it grow on hold. As of now, the savings in my bank account was left behind with my investments in crypto. Even though the market does not look so good right now, I am still holding on to my faith that it will soon recover as well as the money I am losing as the price keeps on going down.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you like to become a co-owner of a world bank? on: July 23, 2021, 03:54:39 PM
Regardless of the wealth and the power you may get once you became a co-owner of a world bank, there are a lot of responsibilities you need to consider before celebrating. Just by hearing the word "world" bank, it already sounds complicated and would require a lot of work. Bitcoin and crypto might have made it possible for everyone to have their own financial freedom yet it is nothing compared to handling a world bank or even a regular bank. In crypto, you are more likely handling your own account in a bank and you have no power over other individuals accounts.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Data PROVES It: The Wealthy Were BUYING, As Amateurs Sold In Fear... on: July 23, 2021, 03:20:09 PM
You will surely lose if you will let your fear deceive you into selling. There are a lot of FUDs in the market as usual yet you should already know how things works out here. We should know how to outsmart the whales so that regardless of what games they are playing, we may know how we can still take advantage or benefits from it. If we would stay like how regular investors commits to their investments wherein fear usually pushes them forward to make actions that they will soon regret, we'll never be able to gain benefit here in the crypto world.
176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: July 23, 2021, 02:17:48 PM
Personally, I do not believe in the vaccine considering how soon or how fast it was made. If we'll take a look back at the history, there are a lot of illnesses wherein a vaccine hasn't been developed up until now. While we're here, being forced to believe in a vaccine that was made for a virus that just showed up very recently. I think it is just a scheme to cover up the government's failure as well as their way of manipulating people to believe that ones you get vaccinated, you should not fear the virus anymore. Its effectiveness is yet to be considered and it will show off as years passes by.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk account rank upgrade?? on: July 23, 2021, 01:49:00 PM
Can anyone suggest me how could i upgrade my Bitcointalk rank? Huh
First thing you need to if you are hoping to rank up in the forum is to make yourself as knowledgeable as you can. You cannot be someone who posts constructive ideas without having those knowledge first. Afterwards, you can start posting and start analyzing how the merit system works. Before, activities are the only requirement in order for you to rank up but now that the merit system showed up, it is much harder to increase your rank. We cannot hate on the merit system, it is an effective way to assure that only those who are deserving should rank up and those who do not take things here seriously should stay on what they are right now.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: July 23, 2021, 01:25:16 PM
To fight against the control of USD thus create an anchor for people all around the global, or to make transactions apparent in cyber world, Bitcoin was coined by Satoshi(the second one is more valid).
Will the day come when everyone uses Bitcoin in daily payment(supposing new tech is applied to avoid high gas fee) and thus fiat gets abandoned? Or it won't because the amount of Bitcoin is set and all Bitcin is practically manipulated by capitalists...
Obviously , it's nearly impossible for Bitcoin to realize permant and global circulation due to its high price and scarcity, which renders it harder to take the place of fiat but it sounds that ETH is likely to be an anchor and a tool for daily use alike, surpassing BTC is feasible.
They say, if a country is at war or in upheaval, buying Bitcoin is not wise for its high volatility and USD is a better choice.
How do you think Smiley
It has always been a debate if bitcoin can even replace fiat but in my opinion, it's too far from happening considering many factors. With regards to Ethereum surpassing Bitcoin, you should know how impossible that can happen. Just take a look at the price gap of the two, even though ETH has always been next to bitcoin, the price gap is so far. Fiat currencies is already part of the tradition in all parts of the world, regardless of having technology innovating over the years, a digital currency would take up a lot of adjustments before it can be seen feasible.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: July 23, 2021, 01:03:55 PM
I have heard a lot of people talk about success and almost all of us are chasing after it, with the intention of making it right.
Most of us also want to venture into them without getting the rudiment and fundamentals of the business and investments before engaging in them. So a factor or several factors are been considered before and for a more renounced performance called (Success), so what is most important to an individual, company, or organization to consider before investing to attain the desired height of success?

Is it KNOWLEDGE or CAPITAL, or even BOTH?
It should be both. Without both, you surely would have a hard time or would not be able to become successful. Capital is surely necessary when starting a business because without it, you would not be able to take a step forward or buy resources needed in order for you to progress. Knowledge is as essential as the Capital, you should not enter business if you have no idea about it or else you would just be wasting your money or time. Know how to play the game and know also how you can win it, persevere and surely you'll be big in the business industry in no time.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: July 22, 2021, 09:42:59 PM
When it comes to my favorite altcoins this season, BNB and ETH will always top my list. It is with consideration to the massive growth of NFTs listed under them. As the growth of NFTs continue, they will surely affect the value of such coins positively. ETH has been reigning the altcoins for a very long time already and it managed to stay on the top up until now while BNB obviously has the potential of becoming more successful in the future and it is also able to stay close to ETH at the present. Just make sure you fully understand a coin before making an investment or including on your top list.
