I'm kinda hesitant to drop any more than 0.5btc on this, it sounds great and all, super awesome ideas, but absolutely nothing to show for it, at the moment its just all talk. I asked Polo a couple days ago why they wont add it and one of the mods said its cus they think its a shitcoin after reviewing the code, so idk... im not trying to be a FUDer here but u know.. i have my concerns. If it all happens and dev delivers then this coin is moon bound, but otherwise alot of ppl are gana be fkn mad.
Not sure why people are concerned about getting cloakcoin to polo, I mean I used it when it first launched and it wasn't any good (still isn't) in my opinion. I think bittrex is way better than polo and easier to navigate. Sorry to say but I think polo coders are the ones that have no idea whats going on after all they were hacked before contrary to bittrex. Bittrex added cloakcoin pretty quick and sure they know what their doing. If mintpal told you that cloakcoin code is shit and wouldn't add it then that would have some credibility but polo's opinion means shit here... I think polo would be cool, but I only really use it for smaller trades or for coins that are more under the radar. I like your response though, ive been thinking for a while that instead of pestering mintpal and polo we should give bittrex some more free advertisement for being the badasses that they are. Bittrex really deserves the profit their making from Cloak, I mean they were the only exchange to add Cloak in its early days. Bittrex seems to be catching up to Mintpal (daily volume). People want Cloak to be added to mintpal so its pumped (everyone here sells) and then dumped to the ground as most coins do there. Bittrex is just fine, if people want to buy Cloak then they'll have to come to bittrex to do so PS. Polo sucks, it sucked when it first started and still sucks now. |

The multi-pool hashrate is used to mine the most profitable coin every hour and I assume it sells to BTC then btc to cloakcoin. Your basically buying cloakcoins but without the hassle of mining other coins, exchanging to btc then buying cloak. The multipool does it for you. That way you get your cloakcoins and also help push the value. |

still cannot get on the correct fork. I have used every combo of addnodes posted, maxconnections=5, I keep getting close but at the last minute it goes from 8900 of 9500 blocks to 8500 of 8900 blocks. and I can never get the last 600 or so blocks because it will say up to daye once it gets the 8900th block Ya it took me dozen times to get it to finally work. If you don't have any coins in your wallet then go ahead and delete everything including your wallet if its empty if not you know the drill...backups... Download the wallet again, open it and close it so it creates the folder in the %appdata% directory. I got these nodes from my wallet which is the right fork so give them a try. Create a .conf file and add these nodes: addnode=192.99.43.247

it seems that I'm everywhere but not on the right chain. I added the nodes that were mentioned in the first post and the nodes that were mentioned a few pages behind. I tried to start the sync from the beginning creating a new folder but then my coins in the wallet disappeared after i copied it to the %roaming%cloakcoin folder .... **weired** What new folder? You mean the .conf file? |

Thats normal, your coins are now working for you Your staking meaning your now earning coins via POS. See the little icon at the bottom right corner beside the number of connections, a green circle I assume (when staking), hover over it and it will show you some info. Leave your wallet opened when staking is over your coins will return to your balance and a few extra coins along with it. |

Any guesstimates on potential value 1-3 months from now?
If the Anon feature is successful and the Cool new features the devs are promising we should see cloak have at least a 5 Million market cap if all goes good? My predictions possible 1$ per coin maybe if anon feature is successfully implemented on Friday. If Cloak is added to mintpal without going through the voting process, that 1$ valuation might turn into 2-5$ per coin based on anon works. @ocminer your not alone, been fighting with the wallet too, for some reason it keeps jumping back onto the old fork. Seems to finally be on the right fork. |

Correct thats the old one. Notice the blocks and difficulty? Delete the old wallet along with the ClockCoin folder (%appdata%) since you don't have any coins yet and download the updated wallet.
