1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: January 01, 2023, 07:46:40 PM
In my opinion, Bounty performance in terms of budget and payment to hunters has been on the decline for the past 10 months. Out of many campaigns that I have participated in (for the past 10 months), only about 5 campaigns made payment in the range of $10 to $40, while two campaigns paid in the range of $200. Most of the payments are less than $1. On the average, for every ten projects that I have participated in, five ends up being scam, or will have one issue or the other despite doing some research on the project before participating.

I observed that project owners are the most free entities, because it seems there is nothing to hold them. I have participated in over 15 campaigns that ends up with the project owners refusing to pay, or simply refusing to communicate and that is it. Many campaigns end up just after one week, and no payment. Bounty hunters, in my opinion are really being exploited. Sometimes I wonder if bounty hunting has become a charity of some sort because they end up not getting rewarded in many instances. There is hardly any payment being made. I have observed two scenarios: Listed tokens either pay peanuts (usually less than 5 USDT worth of tokens) or they will keep holding the tokens for several months, even though they are listed; the other scenario is to pay tokens that are yet to be listed.

My other observation includes: Some projects hold on to listing for many months waiting for the bull market; Some escrow projects end up paying worthless amount of tokens some not even up to $1. In my opinion, bounty hunting is dying and even participants are declining. Hunters only look out for few campaigns by some managers that may fetch some fair campaigns. I will suggest publishing scam campaigns in this forum so as to serve as a caution to project owners who now have freedom to do as hey want and nothing holds them. They waste people time and go freely. Secondly, why is it not possible to make all campaigns escrow? Unlisted tokens should pay in USDT - on a fair budget. Hunters must not wait for years to get their rewards because the token they promoted have not been listed. IMO, I think hunters task is more to promote the project than an investor so why won't they be rewarded timely?

This is the exact thing I'm seeing on the current altcoin bounty projects. There should be a sort of bounty management alliance that makes project owners required to put an escrowed stable coin that is calculated over the expected or planned bounty joiners. This is a good measure if ever the project flops or the owner run away which commonly happen nowadays. I think that publishing scam campaigns isn't that much helpful given that the project owners can easily make a project and make bounty hunters promote it again. We can see how easy to create an account here and make the things they are doing repeatedly. Though we can't control bounty hunters on joining potential flop campaigns knowing that some of them are doing it full time by having multiple accounts *I've been a bounty manager before that's why I know it. Also those managers who accepts potential flop projects since they make money there but I see it as a solution on current bounty campaign reward problems.

People love those campaign who pays surely that's why those campaign who have an escrowed amount of funds in bounty campaigns are filled so fast. People rushing participating in those kind of project because they see value in it, compared to those project that offers their native tokens that has the potential of having no value.

I don't see a good future on current altcoin bounty projects as a bounty hunter perspective. Too many project flops and some of them run away leaving bounty hunters no pay. It is too far from 2016-2017 bounty experience where majority of hunters are making quite reward from campaigns.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 06:55:49 PM
It a cheap way to turn people life upside down. There are people who devoted themselves betting on their magic number for years now and there are only handful of people who are winning this national lottery. I don't join lottery since it's 100% luck based and it's pretty upsetting if you bet everyday on this even if it's cheap. I know I don't have the luck in this kind of games since I very rarely win any kind of raffle I join. Only handful of people can win this and winning it for the second time is extremely rare. I would just choose to gamble in casino since the odds of me winning there is much more than this national lottery.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 01, 2023, 11:34:54 AM
I would not only invest in BTC, but only in some other strong altcoins such as ETH or BNB. The problem always is that you will start to get greedy when you start getting profit. You see the price of the coin rises and will always want more and more and than it can be too late. You can partially sovle that with setting sell orders at certain limit prices.
He did not say that we should mainly invest in BTC or avoid all the altcoins because he also know that there are still some good altcoins out there which are great to be paired with our BTC investment. He only say that shitcoins and pump and dump schemes are bad and should be avoided because they are too risky to try and make money with.

Being greedy is normal for us humans but I think it's fine to be a little greedy as long as you invest on the safe and suggested coins because they might increase for more and even if you miss the present bull run, you are sure that they can make a good comeback again on the second, third and so on bull runes.
It is natural that when we make a plan we want things to go as we expect, so for example if we invest in bitcoin we expect that we will obtain more money than whatever we invest in it, that is not even greed, that is just the way humans behave normally, however people can get very greedy when they expect that a shitcoin achieves a 100x growth, that is greed and unfortunately it is very common as there are many people that actually believe they can identify and invest in a coin like that.
That is why we make a plan, to make our goals more realistic. We do make a plan to achieve the goals we want and in those plans, It is composed of series of step that could be followed in order to achieve the goal. That goal for us is profit. Formulating a plan isn't being greedy, Stepping out more than your goal is greedy given that the plan you make isn't for that reason. It isn't that bad to level up the goals you have but I think it should be done on separate plan and not over extending your way on making that profit. Investing on a sh*tcoin can be profitable but it's hard to expect it to grow that much.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are responsible for the bear run on: January 01, 2023, 10:47:32 AM
To be honest FTX happened when bitcoin was already at 18-19k levels, got up to 20-21k when people heard Binance may take over, and then crashed to 16k levels when that failed, but the price was at around 18k or so before that. Right now we are above 17k, which means we haven't fallen even 10% since that day, barely 5% to be fair, probably less.

This is a huge proof that, we dropped from 68k to this price, hence FTX can't be responsible for anything at all, all these other names, other companies, or ftx, nobody is responsible for it. Bear run started last year and whatever caused it was the reason and since then we are still feeling the waves of it, that's it.

It makes no sense to try to conclude who is responsible for bitcoin's drop, because without Luna or the crash of FTX, there would be other names. Don't forget that, after every bull cycle and hit ATH, bitcoin drops in price and crypto winter come, it's been proven in the past and this year was no exception. Instead of finding out who the culprit is, look at it and learn for the future, the market will repeat this. After a bull season comes a down season, and in a down season, there's always a reason to make the market worse.
There's always be a bad news that will trigger the bear market. It's just that the break down of LUNA was the main catalyst of this bear market. I remember before that crypto bans where the one contributed on the past bear market. Today we have seen companies that holds many bitcoin are being bankrupt, hacked and exploited. I believe that it is the trigger of the recent bear market. Though I personally expect something bad will happen after a long bull market, I somehow expect that it would be a devastative crash.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: January 01, 2023, 09:43:43 AM

I wouldnt put my money on eth in any way. I guess that investors will still be able to make money with, but its potential for dobbling investments I believe it was lost forever. Now that eth abandoned POW and is now fully POS it will become less and less attractive, and soon it may be replaced by something better and decentralized.

I don't quite understand why you think that the transition from POW to POS is a mistake. I believe that in the face of the growing energy crisis in the world, this is a positive change for the entire project in the long run.

ETH's move from POW to POS has absolutely nothing to do with the current energy crisis situation. The upgrade plan of ETH was launched 4 years ago, and after many delays, it was implemented the last year. Many people are skeptical of ETH as it becomes more and more centralized when moving to POS, but it is in ETH's favor. In addition to reducing gas fees, which is the biggest headache for ETH, the upgrade is extremely important for ETH in future block expansion. For ETH, I consider this a desirable upgrade, Vitalik Buterin knows what he is doing best for ETH. It is too early to conclude that ETH is not worth investing in when it is POS, keep in mind that many altcoins still use POW but they are all useless, unable to compete with ETH. If you need a decentralized coin, bitcoin is enough.
I Agree with you, Of course they have made countless of consideration what might happened if they transitioned into POS but at the end they have considered changing from POW to POS given that POW is hindering them and and also their users to make a progression to the project. Gas fees are number one problem with ETH and I'm sure when market gets a lot of traffic, Users are suffering from these ridiculous gas prices that we all consider when making a transaction. There are pros and cons on transitioning to POS and one of them is slowly becoming centralize. But I believe that majority users like gas prices low compared to being decentralized. It's my opinion and please don't compare this token to other coins that has cheap gas prices. ETH has it's own concept behind it.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: December 31, 2022, 09:12:19 PM
Reasonable amount for what? Is there any amount that we can consider reasonable? They are in a relationship right, they are supposed to share those winnings as they both play a big role to get that. They need to talk seriously and that's only the solution.
Sometimes, the conversation will be a disaster and a struggle. Especially when it involves a lot of money.
And many relationships break up because of money-related issues which are very sensitive in some people. It's not certain that they'll always be together. We can't judge here. But did the girl know that the money was used for gambling. but yes or no, at least the guy should give more money than just the money he takes from his girl. If it weren't for the money, he wouldn't have gotten the big prize.

As you mention money issues can be a very delicate topic and depending on the personality of the person in question there could be a way to save the situation or not, however since the boyfriend stole from the girlfriend, lied about his profits, gave only the bare minimum back and then she found the truth, then it is a given that the situation is impossible to repair now by having a conversation and most likely it will require the services of lawyers to determine how the money should be distributed.
Basically the man is ready to break their relationship starting when he stole the money he used to bet and not because he just returned the bare minimum and not the demand of his girlfriend. Their relationship won't be fix even if the gambler follows the demand of his girlfriend. The trust between the both of them is ruined and their colors where revealed because of money. This kind of stories can happen in real life that's why I personally don't borrow or use other people money in gambling because money is one of the many reason why people break their trust and relationships.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 31, 2022, 08:27:57 PM
A project that is promising a return of investment is a major red flag. First of all you are an investors, There are certain risk in investing and it is the duty of an investor to know that. No project will say a bs that your investment will prosper with them. Too good to be true projects or investment are bad sign. You should research more or most likely avoid those project because those bonuses and massive returns are one sign of a project that has the characteristic of not being sustainable. If it's too good to be true, Just avoid it and never look back. I learned it before the hard way, Investing is not a form of easy money.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: December 31, 2022, 08:09:25 PM
Certainly bad for the gamblers from Armenia since they will be forced to use their cards just to gamble. Crypto casino is one way to avoid that restriction but there might be a chance that Armenia will be included in casino banned list, where gamblers can't play on casinos that has the licensed that are banning their country. If this came up to be a good source of revenue for the country and other country realize that it is an effective way to set up a new source of revenue, There's a high chance that other country will do the same and for sure the gamblers and the operators are the one who will suffer the most.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: December 31, 2022, 05:12:52 PM
That's true, and some casinos still allow us to remain a little gambler, and as long as we don't cross the limits set, the casinos won't check our account either. They may ask it one day, but we can hope it will not happen for little gamblers. And if we get comfort and security while at the casino, we can continue doing KYC so that we can get all the facilities from the casino for those who have already verified.
All casinos should be able to accept us as little gamblers, because we are both customers and users of the business they run.
If each casino only accepts professional gamblers with high betting amounts, it is certain that the casino will lose many users.
Inside the casino itself there are thousands or even millions of users consisting of small gamblers and big gamblers. So casino managers must remain fair and sporty towards every gambler.
(Even when it comes to bonuses, it is true that bonuses will be given in larger amounts to those who already have a very large number of bets).

Maybe the casino will still check the suspected account even though the account has done KYC. Whether it's suspicion about the deposit amount being only a small amount but when withdrawing a large amount or other suspicions, we as users ourselves don't know anything about it.
That's true because there are lots of little gamblers who like to play gambling in casinos, allowing them to play gambling. Apart from that, there are young gamblers with a lot of money but are very strict about spending money to play gambling. This is a potential target because once they become addicted to gambling, they can spend more on gambling. If casinos can pay attention to this and still provide room for young gamblers, they may be able to get additional income from the many young gamblers.

And even though the little gamblers will spend a lot of money later and be asked to do KYC because they have crossed the limits set by the casino, they will do it with heart because they can find comfort in playing gambling. It's the key to it all, and if the casinos could provide it, many gamblers would be betting big bucks.
Yes, I really think that in this era there are more and more young gamblers and they are willing to spend their money betting at casinos and casinos use this opportunity as a way to attract the interest of young gamblers.
Because maybe they feel like they want to get large amounts of money in a short time and are still in the happy phase of betting.
But actually this is really a pity because they are still young and have a long way to go in the future.
But after all, what's called a business is still a business. Casino managers are only in the business of providing gambling sites or places, so whether the users are old or young is not the business of the casino.

One reason I think there are many teens now doing online gambling is that there are many advertised online casino over the internet compared before and there are many streamers now streaming gambling games more than ever and this is why I think teens are trying to find these casino that has no KYC that's why they are mostly going to use a crypto casino that has no strict KYC rules. It's just sad that many teens get this kind of privilege to play in online casinos right now. KYC will always be the way to avoid or reduce teens playing on a casino but yeah as an adult I hate KYC.
1610  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 31, 2022, 04:32:30 PM
For countries that allow gambling, maybe they also allow street gambling. Still, there must be several conditions that they must follow, including security, comfort, and where the gambling will be carried out. And if security is the main factor that the casino has to pay attention to, they should be able to guard every player who gambles and maybe there will be a security team that will stand guard around the casino. Casinos must really pay attention to everyone, not just those who play, and ensure that everyone feels safe when gambling or watching the game. Crime is everywhere, especially in public places so casinos need to be extra vigilant to be able always to monitor their casinos and their people.

A permit to conduct from the local government is needed for it since authority still is governing a small society. Street gambling always causes commotion so it really needs security.

I can imagine it can invite a number of cheaters that also brings thier gangs with them while playing. If it happens in a 3rd world country like mine, it sure is trouble.

well that's one of them when there is commotion on the street and a lot of trouble, of course there is no security that guarantees street casinos like that it's different from official casinos they have tight security so no one dares to make trouble, actually street gambling doesn't look attractive and safe according to me
For me it's an interesting concept but yeah we can't deny that this concept can run long term given that this kind of concept is illegal given that the games were made in the streets and it could be interrupted whenever there are possible police entrapment. The risk is too high between the operator and also the gamblers who are playing given that the money they have on the casino could be gone whenever the operator is caught. It would be better to just play on a established live only casino where you can have a peace of mind and would enjoy the games.
1611  Economy / Gambling / Re: OLE777 - Join Us For New And Exciting Promos! on: December 29, 2022, 07:29:51 PM
No, the account was blocked after a month of active play in esports bets, and for 3 days I have not been turned off after this letter. No explanations were provided, there were $2000 on the account, I will be glad if a representative of the betting company will contact me here and solve the problem, otherwise it looks like a scam.
Sadly their representative in this forum where active last December 27 which is before you post your concern December 28. It haven't exceeded their 5 days maximum days especially that there are upcoming holidays. We can expect a delay but if it happened that they haven't responded to you next year, You can formally post your scam accusation here. Usually casino don't disclose the violation you have commited unless you pushed them in the edge like putting a scam accusation but for now you can just start speculate about the possible violation you did. Are you sure that you have abided and read their ToS? If you know that you have done something wrong then you should be scared of because they may have detected it.

$2000 is a big number and all we can do is to just hope that your case will be resolved.
1612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading With Borrowed Funds!!! on: December 29, 2022, 06:53:10 PM
It is true that some people have become rich through crypto trading in the recent times. But considering the high risk involved in trading, do you think it's proper/wise to trade with borrowed funds as your capital irrespective of your trading experience?

Borrowing money for investment or business is often discouraged and even more risky when we enter the market that is considered the riskiest.
All depends on you, if you have a job or another source of income and you can be sure that if you can't make a profit from trading and still can repay the loan, then it won't be a problem to get a loan. But if you have no other source of income and you think trading can help you pay off your debt and make money, I think I will disagree with you. It is very risky because trading is not guaranteed to be profitable, even if you are a good trader.
It will all depends on the business you are running. Business owners has different takes about borrowing for business. Borrowing to start up a business is personally not my go to if ever I want to start a business. I believe that businesses should only borrow money from other if their business is doing well and the purpose of borrowing should be for the expansion and growth of the business. But over all business, investment and trading is different if the topic is about borrowing. The risk is too high if we borrow for the sake of investing and trading. Even experienced traders and investors don't recommend borrowing.
1613  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: December 29, 2022, 06:19:39 PM
What is your take in the recent land game alpha release of Axie Infinity? I haven't personally played the land gameplay dahil wala akong land at isa din yun sa cons as of now kasi as far as I know puro lang land owners ang makakalaro ngayon at yung walang lands is sa future releases pa nila.

Parang wala ding noticeable market movement yung native token nila despite na long awaited yung land gameplay noon. Nasa Phase 1 palang yung Land gameplay ng axie infinity kaya satingin ko wala pa masyado impact ito sa market. Imagine if nirelease nila ito nuong nasa kasagsagan pa sila ng hype nila, For sure sky rocket talaga yung native token nila.
1614  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: December 29, 2022, 05:48:21 PM

1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 29, 2022, 05:13:31 PM
It all depends on my mood but mostly I do gamble because I want my time to get eaten by something that makes me fun, In short; it's for entertainment since I rarely do gamble that I have a strict target amount of profit to be earn on a single session. I'm not a high roller that's why I don't chase profit that much but winning is one part of being entertained so yeah I always try to win but I don't chase the profit. I know the fact that I'm an addict before and experienced different things with it and now that I have passed that stage of my life, I'm happy that I do gamble for the sake of entertainment.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next crypto craze? on: December 28, 2022, 08:34:55 PM
I think there will be a repeat of the hype in every project when the bull market comes back. NFT, web3 , p2e and so on also have the possibility of returning hype. And I see the metaverse will also have better potential when the bullrun comes back. what made the current hype subside was due to the prolonged economic crisis and bearish market. but when the bull run market comes. everything will be popular again. at least that's what i think and i hope.
I don't think that we'll ever see a repeat again. We're done with it and just like the ICOs mania, we never came back to it but it's on another form through IEO.
And then, the market craze has been different from then and that's why I think that those that were passed already, NFTs, web3 and P2E will not be there again. Except for web3, I think it's not pushed before that it has become like NFTs and P2Es.
For sure there will be new trend in the upcoming bull market but I do believe that P2E will have a second wave of hype again. We all know that in the last bull market P2E is one of the biggest trend of the market and to be honest, Most P2E games are just so bad that it's obviously a rushed project just to be on a trend and to milk money from the investors. This is the recipe of a bad P2E games that is release last bull market. Sh*tty game, bad tokenomics, very short road maps and a bare minimum product just to be called as P2E concept game. It's rushed basically but I still believe in P2E concept since there are few project that is slowly releasing a absolutely good games with a good gameplay and comparable to triple A games we have today. Many believe that those games are the gems of P2E and me myself also consider it as a gem but yeah it still hard to give them a overall good credit given that they still doesn't produce a sustainable tokenomics. I still have high hopes on P2E trend but surely sh*tty projects wouldn't be given a chance since investors can now identify shtty project to those good project that has a real product.
1617  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! 🔥💰 | Premium Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ on: December 28, 2022, 07:39:14 PM

Sorry to say that I have to disagree that sharing promo code in this forum would be better than on social media.
It is simply proven by most casinos rarely post promo code in this forum, there is only one site that uses this forum to post promo code every day.
Most other popular casinos such as stake, duelbits, roobet, primedice, prefer to share promo codes in their social media such as telegram, twitter, and maybe discord.
The reason is simple IMO, it is easier to post the codes in social media and the casinos also aware that their followers will notice about it faster than if they posted it in this forum.

I know that there is only 1 site here that shares promo codes on this forum and that all other sites prefer other media channels to provide promo codes but I was simply expressing my opinion, that also a lot of people (including me) are no fan of Telegram and rarely use it. It can be more work maybe to also post it on this forum, but it can be interesting for the players.
It maybe because casino knows or experienced the fact that social media outlets tends to pull more customer rather than this forum. Of course if you are a business man, you will obviously pick the place that has the potential to gain more traffic. I know that there are big rollers here but I believe that there are much more big rollers outside this forum that is the target of casinos who are sharing these promo codes. There are casino who conquered and giving away most on their social media and even here because they have the power to splurge for the sake of promotions. Let's be thankful enough to those casino who is offering promo codes here as a promotion.
To some extent, you are right, but I don't completely agree with you, I agree with the fact that social chat platforms like telegram and the likes do have the potential to bring traffic In short period of time, but that does not means a forum as large as bitcointalk should be underestimated, I think the advantage social platform have over forums is that, like in a group, one can immediately see how many people are online and how many that are not, and those socials platforms do have mobile apps that make accessibility easy and quick for every, unlike forum that you have to open your browser and visit the website, and I understand most or a good number of users don't access the forum from their mobile phones but computers, and  in times where they are not around their computer, anything happening on the forum must wait until they are back home to their computer.
This is why it looks like socials apps get more traffic than forums
Well it all boils down where the casino gets most of its traction. We don't know their metrics but we can see where they spend most of their advertisement money. Some casino has limited budget on marketing that's why they focus only in a certain platform that is the most effective on them. I don't underestimate this forum, I like this forum more than all the social media when we talk about cryptocurrency. I also believe that this forum is a great outlet for a casino to establish it's reputation. All platforms have those pros and cons and it's hard to find a platform to make an advertisement that has all the pros the casino is seeking such as the reach of the post, the number of users, etc.. Everything will depends on the casino on how they see the progression of their marketing on different platforms since there are many considerations like the effectiveness and longevity.

Actually there are many casino who put large money in this forum and those casino either has the budget to promote at different platforms or focus in this forum since this forum is very effective in their growth.

Can you explain what exactly is the problem as I browsed to all your documents but don't understand the problem? Your bet size is quite low (0.05$) so not really sure what the fuzz about it is?
Try to contact the OP of this topic, he can maybe also help you with your problem.
I'm guessing that it's about the price/reward on every win, It didn't matched according to the multiplier. This could be a big issue if proven right even if the betting size is quite low. Maybe Arshia(Scam accuser) think about fairness. I also think that $.05 is a low bet and not to spend time on but imagine those who where on the same case with her and haven't noticed the issue he is having. This casino should honor the inquiries of their customer no matter how low the bet are. They are still customer who wants fair and equal rights with other gamblers. We hope that this wouldn't escalate on a big problem with this casino since I think that the "main problem" is big enough.

If one plans to earn money through staking rewards then this will not work for him but if one wants to invest in a token for a long time as it is potential  .  So if he does not hold freely those tokens and keeps them in staking, he will get some additional tokens from there which will give some support to his investment. This is the potential benefit of staking
Before saying this token is worth it to hold for long time, you need to check the price history first [1] as you can see after one year, did this token price is increase in the long run? nope. It keep decrease similar like fiat where inflation always happen in every year.

To be honest it looks like Betfury is slowly become inactive and doesn't have many improvement, unlike the beginning where they're active and many people are supporting this project.

I do not think this is the right way to judge a token. In the last year, name me any token or coin that is able to sustain its price during this year's bear market.

All the coins have lost 80-90% of their value and the same is the case with BFG. I am sure that BFG token has a good use case and once this bear market is over we will see some good momentum in its price.

Also, BFG is not yet available in binance and other big exchanges. Once it is listed there, we can see another price momentum in its price.
Yep, every token in this market is volatile. It's hard to expect that it will be stable and just go upwards regarding the time span. Even betfury native token BFG isn't exempted from this volatility. This is why we have bull and bear market where most token go up or down depends on the market cycle you are in. If you really like the token and think it has a very good road map just like what other see on BFG, Well you should invest in it given that you have a high hopes in it.
